Shelly couldn't believe she was approached by such a being, and she fainted as a result. Shelly tried to start explaining where she was from, but the pony she was speaking to silenced her with a wing to her face after only a word or two. She immediately clammed up and waited for the pony to finish describing what she went through, but Midnight did not say anything to Shelby. Midnight picked Shelby from up off the road and the two of them began to walk back to a local service who might be able to let Shelby go back home.
Ordinarily, most people would leave Midnight's side and rather go with who the ponies decided to think of, but there wasn't a decision for Shelly, as Midnight gently asked if she could continue on with this person. At this point, human sightings became fairly frequent, but her request was denied, mostly on account of her personal characteristics. Shelly, as all humans are, was asked to stay and help around some, and then was offered the trip to the human castle in the distance. Shelly responded in the affirmative, and continued towards the castle. Midnight was told to leave and proceeded to do so.
