Episode 530: New Kids On The Kalos Block
Recently, I checked out Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D Bonds of Time, and I got an idea by looking at Paradox's Malefic monsters, so I thought I give them the Malefic appearance, and call them Malefic Pokémon. Like the Shadow Pokémon in the Pokémon Colossuem games, I give them Malefic attacks.
Night came for the group as they went off for bed. Bonnie was dressed in her Tyrantrum pajamas as she's sharing her room with the other girls. Clemont to share his room with the other boys.
"Good night, everyone," Bonnie said.
"Good night," Kairi said as she and the other girls fell right to sleep.
In Clemont's room, Sora was sleeping on the couch as the rest were sleeping on the floor.
"What a day, huh?" Sora asked.
"It sure was," Clemont agreed. "You can have that Gym battle if you want."
"Yeah, but I think I'll wait just a little bit longer," Sora said.
"Wait a little longer?" Clemont asked, confused.
"Yeah. I think I'll just earn three more Gym Badges before I eventually challenge your Gym," Sora said. Clemont understood what Sora meant, and he had to respect if that's what Sora would want. "And there's a condition that will be set before we get to that."
"What's that condition, Sora?" Clemont asked.
"It should be against you, Clemont," Sora said. "If I'm going to earn a Gym Badge, it'll only mean something if it came from you." Clemont nodded.
"I get you, Sora. And you can count on, I plan on showing you all of my strength when we do battle," Clemont said.
With that said, both Sora and Clemont sealed the deal with a handshake. After that, both boys went right to sleep.
Unknown to them, the masked man along with Mega Blaziken are outside the window, listening on their conversation. The masked man smiled.
"Come on, Blaziken, let's go," the masked man said.
"Blaziken," Mega Blaziken said.
Both jumped from rooftop to rooftop.
"Help, somebody help, please!" A woman called out as she's cornered by a street gang. They were chuckling as they intend to have their way with her. She was scared for her life.
"Mega Blaziken! Use Flare Blitz!" The masked man ordered. Mega Blaziken came at the street gang with Flare Blitz. They scream in pain as the woman saw the Pokémon that saved her. She looked around and saw him.
"Blaziken Mask!" The woman cheered.
"Get to safety, ma'am. I'll deal with them," Blaziken Mask said. The woman ran just when one of them stood up.
"Damn that Blaziken Mask! You're gonna pay for that!" The gang banger said.
"Blaze Kick!" Blaziken Mask ordered. Mega Blaziken lands a Blaze Kick on the guy, sending him back into some trash cans.
Hearing the commotion, Officer Jenny came to the scene. She saw the woman in trouble and she saw the gang knocked unconscious. Blaziken Mask and Mega Blaziken took off. Officer Jenny arrested them all for attempted rape of the woman.
Meanwhile, Shulk and Lucina met up with several other warriors. There were three of the same person; one being male, and one being female. Two of them has grayish white hair, and have a brownish color. Both wore clothing and a black overcoat. The female version has long hair. Both were holding books. The other two have silverish hair, elvish ears, and red eyes. They wore silver and black armor, and are barefooted. Another pair has dark green hair, and blue eyes. They wore a black outfit, and they had black boots. Another is similar to Marth, but he wore a white cape, and a dark blue outfit. Another is a young teen with short brown hair and golden eyes. He wore a blue, brown and gold salvager gear on a blue outfit. Another is a young woman with a red bob-cut and red eyes. short red and black armor with gold and green ornamentation. She also wears black fingerless gloves, armored red thigh-high boots, red short-shorts, a long multicoloured reverse drape scarf-like cape and a golden tiara.
"Did you find them?" The brown haired young man asked.
"We did, Rex. Where are the others?" Shulk asked.
"They seperated from us for a while," the girl in the silver said.
"They must gotten different leads," Lucina said. "Robins, Corrins, Byleaths, Rex, Pyra Chrom, let's go."
With that said, the warriors went off to find Team Shadow.
Meanwhile, Team Shadow scientists began a project for Team Shadow. Ein is leading the project personally, and he arrived not too long ago. Ein has experimented on some of the local Pokémon, and some attempts failed. But, through his efforts he and the other scientists managed to at last succeed in something. They all have mechanical-looking pieces on their bodies which are made of a mix of white, gray and black metal. Ein was especially pleased with himself.
"Yes, the Malefic Pokémon project is completed," Ein proudly said.
"You project is coming along nicely," another scientist said.
"Indeed. This project will put Team Shadow on the edge. The more Malefic Pokémon we create, the more the world will fear the shadows," Ein said. "Master Mateus will be pleased by our efforts."
Outside, the warriors arrive on the base, and began their assault on the base. The Team Shadow peons attacked as well as the evil Robot Masters. One of the Team Shadow peons entered the lab.
"Sir! We have intruders in the base!" The Team Shadow peon reported.
"Sora Ketchum and his friends?" Ein asked.
"No, they appear to be armed with swords!" The Team Shadow peon reported.
"Then disarm them, and capture them!" Ein ordered.
"Yes, sir!" The Team Shadow peon said, taking his leave. Ein grinned evilly.
"The prefect opportunity to test out the might of the Malefic Pokémon, wouldn't you agree?" Ein asked, making the other scientists nod in agreement. They unleashed the new Malefic Pokémon, which happens to be Rhyhorn. Their faces all have the black, white, and gray metal on their faces, and their backs.
They fought their way through the base when they came across the Malefic Rhyhorn. Ein stands behind them.
"You in charge here?" Lucina asked.
"Yes and no. I simply don't know who you are, and I don't care, so I'll have to deal with you myself," Ein said. "Malefic Rhyhorn! Use Malefic Rush!" The Rhyhorn charges at the warriors with a black, white, and gray aura surrounding them. The warriors tried to fight back, but the Rhyhorn were too much for them.
"What's with them? Something isn't right," Pyra asked. A light surrounds Pyra, and in her place is a young woman with long blonde hair, fair skin and golden eyes. She has an identical figure to Pyra; taller than Rex but still relatively short. She wore a short white dress with numerous golden and green ornaments, and a golden tiara. She has two green symmetrical crosses on her chest armor, differing from Pyra's single cross.
"I felt it, too. Something isn't natural about them," the blonde young woman said.
"Use Malefic Horn!" Ein ordered. The Rhyhorn all charged into the warriors. The Malefic Pokémon overpowered them greatly. He laughed evilly. "Yes, this is working even better than I have anticipated." The warriors were then defeated.
"How is it possible, to be defeated by these strange creatures?" Male Robin asked.
"I think he might know a lot about this," female Robin said.
"How can we beat them?" Rex asked.
"You can't! My Malefic Pokémon are very powerful. This proves that my experiment is an overwhelming success!" Ein said.
"You won't get away with this," Shulk said.
Meanwhile, a average stature and has rounded green eyes looked in the opposite direction. She has long blonde hair that falls just past her shoulders and a somewhat petite frame. Her outfit consists of a white bralette with knitted sleeves, a short orange skirt with brown accessories over white shorts, and brown leggings. She wore white heeled shoes, a pink clip in her hair, and a choker with a red gem attached.
With her is a yellowish-orange tasmanian tiger. He wore red trunks with yellow flowers, and he carried boomerangs. He wore brown gloves. He stopped and looked at the young woman.
"Fiora, what's wrong?" The tasmanian tiger asked.
"I just had a bad feeling, Ty," Fiora said. "I'm wondering if it was a good idea to split up."
"It was discussed. Shulk should be okay," Ty said.
"You're right, Ty. I guess I was just worrying about him, because I'm supposed to," Fiora said. She chuckled to herself. They continued on.
Back in Lumiose City, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, and the Digimon were getting some supplies before they started to head for Cyllage City, but that was when they bumped into someone very familiar to Serena.
"Hey, Serena," Calem greeted.
"Hi, Calem," Serena greeted.
Everyone looked at Calem. It wasn't hard for Sora to figure Calem has a thing for Serena since Brenden had a thing for May, as Lucas did for Dawn.
"What brings you here back in Lumiose City?" Calem asked.
"Oh, just picking up some supplies," Serena answered. "How about you?"
"I battled against the Santalune Gym Leader, and won," Calem said. "And I caught a few Pokémon along the way." He ends up blushing.
"So, who's your friend, Serena?" Sora asked.
"Sora, meet Calem, he's a friend of mine back in Vaniville Town. Calem, I want you to meet Sora. He's someone who I met in Professor Oak's summer camp when I was little. Meet Karen, Ven, Kairi, Terra, Aqua, Riku, Naminé, Clemont, Bonnie, and the Digimon, Agumon, Veemon, Gabumon, Wormmon, Biyomon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Patamon, and Gatomon," Serena introduced. Calem looked right him with awe and shock.
"Whoa! Serena, you never told me that you knew Sora Ketchum, the Pokémon League Champion of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova," Calem said.
"Well, I knew him way before that," Serena said.
"I have to say, it is a real thrill to meet you in person," Calem said.
"Thanks, Calem," Sora said. "Anyway, I heard you won a Bug Badge from Viola, right?"
"Yeah. She gave me a real run for my money. That Vivillon was especially tough on me. But, somehow, I managed to beat her and win my first Gym Badge," Calem said.
"Yeah, she didn't pull any punches with me either," Sora said. "I can already tell, you're going to make it big as a trainer." Calem smiled at that.
"Thanks, Sora. I appreciate that," Calem said.
"Are you here to challenge the Lumiose City Gym?" Clemont asked.
"No, I'm actually here to meet some friends of ours, and I'm meeting them in Professor Sycamore's lab," Calem said.
"Are they just getting started on their journey, too?" Ventus asked.
"Yeah. They're getting started today," Calem said.
"We could drop by Professor Sycamore's lab just to say hi," Karen said.
"We might as well," Sora said. "We should show him what we got anyway."
With that said, the group made their way to Professor Sycamore's lab to drop in for a visit. Upon arriving, they came across three kids standing outside.
One of them is a tall, heavy-set boy with black hair in a short back and sides that also resembles the leaves onChespin's head. One of his most noticeable qualities is that he has a rather overweight physique. He is shown wearing a large black T-shirt that has aVanillitedesign on it, orange cargo shorts, a yellow backpack, and matching black and yellow sneakers. He also wore a yellow watch with a black wristband.
Another is a small and thin boy with orange rounded hair and gray eyes. He wears a white collared shirt under a blue tank top with a Pokéball logo on his left side of the chest, and has charcoal pants with lime green lace-up shoes. He also wore the a camera around his neck and a green backpack shaped like a smiley face.
And the third is a short young girl with tan skin and light green eyes. Her hair (which has a spiky tuft on her forehead) is long and brown and is kept in curly pigtails. Clothing-wise, the girl wore a fashionable, feminine, and cute outfit that matches her personality. It consists of a dark pink T-shirt decorated with three black bows, very small denim shorts with black frills on the bottom, and dark pink ballet type shoes with short heels and matching ankle cuffs. For accessories, she wore a dark pink wristband and a black frilly bobble on her right wrist. She also carries around a white and pink purse that matches her shirt, complete with a black bow. Serena beamed when she saw the trio.
"Trevor, Shauna, Tierno!" Serena called out. They turned to see them.
"Calem, Serena!" Shauna said, running up to her, and hugging her. "It's so good to see you!"
"You too!" Serena greeted.
"I take it these are your friends?" Sora asked.
"Yeah," Calem said.
"Hey, aren't you Sora Ketchum, the Pokémon League Champion of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova?" Trevor asked.
"Yeah," Sora said, almost rolling his eyes.
"I don't believe it's actually you. I'm a real big fan of yours!" Tierno said, shaking his hand.
"I'm flattered," Sora said.
"Anyway, my name's Tierno," Tierno introduced himself.
"I'm Trevor."
"And I'm Shauna."
"I'm Kairi, and this is Angel," Kairi introduced.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"My name's Karen, I'm Sora's twin sister. And this is blossom," Karen introduced.
"Pikachu," Blossom said.
"I'm Sora's cousin, Ventus, but call me Ven," Ventus said. "And this is Sparky."
"Pikachu!" Sparky said.
"My name's Aqua, and this Pikachu is Eclair," Aqua said.
"Chu," Eclair said.
"I'm Terra, and this happens to be Thor," Terra said.
"Pika," Thor said.
I'm Clemont, and this is Bonnie, my little sister," Clemont introduced.
"Hello," Bonnie said.
"I'm Riku, and this is my girlfriend Naminé," Riku introduced.
"Hello," Naminé greeted.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"Azu, Azu," Azurill said.
Tierno looked at the Digimon and he was surprised to see them for the first time.
"Hey, are those Digimon?" Tierno asked.
"Yeah. They're with us," Sora said.
"I'm Agumon."
"My name's Gabumon."
"I'm Veemon."
"I'm Wormmon."
"I am Hawkmon."
"Armadillomon's the name."
"I'm Tentomon."
"My name's Palmon."
"I'm Gomamon."
"I'm Patamon."
"And I'm Gatomon."
"I only heard about them in Sinnoh, but I wouldn't have expected this," Trevor said.
"They're even cuter than I thought," Shauna said.
"Thanks," Agumon said.
"No one's cuter than Meowth," Meowth said.
"Hey, that Meowth just talked!" Trevor said.
"Come on, a Pokémon can't talk," Tierno said.
"That Pokémon just did," Trevor said.
"Yeah, maybe I did," Meowth said.
"Told you," Trevor said.
"A talking Meowth, wow," Shauna said.
"It's not as amazing when you get used to it," Sora said.
Just then, Professor Sycamore stepped out and he saw the group.
"Sora, and the rest, welcome. I wasn't expecting to see you all here. I trust your Gym Battle went smoothly?" Professor Sycamore asked.
"Smoothly would be putting it too mildly," Sora said.
"And how's Froakie doing?" Professor Sycamore asked.
"Sora and Froakie are doing great together," Ventus said.
"I never doubted it for a second," Professor Sycamore said. He notices Trevor, Tierno, and Shauna for the first time. "Ah, Shauna, Trevor, Tierno, welcome. I was wondering when you going to come."
"We're sorry of we kept you waiting, professor," Shauna apologized.
"Don't apologize, Shauna. The Pokémon are ready to be selected," Professor Sycamore said.
The group entered the lab with a Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie waiting.
"Professor, we were told that you have Pokémon other than the Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie," Trevor said.
"Yeah, the other ones," Tierno said.
"I understand. I have them with me as we speak," Professor Sycamore said, taking out three more Pokéballs, letting out a Bulbasaur, a Charmander, and a Squirtle.
"I thought Professor Oak, and other Kanto researchers gave these three out to trainers starting out in Kanto," Sora said.
"So did I. I never thought I would see a Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur here," Riku said.
"I never seen Starter Pokémon from Kanto before," Clemont said.
"Me neither. They're really cute," Bonnie cooed.
"I agree with Bonnie, they're very cute," Kairi also cooed. The trainers to be each picked the Pokémon that was promised them.
"I'll choose Charmander as my first," Trevor said.
"The one I'm picking is Squirtle," Tierno said.
"And that leaves me Bulbasaur," Shauna said.
"I wish you all luck on your way," Professor Sycamore said with a smile.
The new trainers took Pokéballs for each one of them, and each received a Pokédex. They took their leave of the lab as Shauna took a moment to speak with Serena.
"So, tell, Serena. He's the one," Shauna said.
"Who?" Serena asked.
"Sora? That's the Sora you knew back in summer camp when you were little. You said he was cute, but you didn't tell me he's so good-looking!" Shauna said.
"I told you the other girls said he's cute," Serena said.
"You were blushing when you told me," Shauna said. "So, now you have a chance with him."
"No I don't, because he has a girlfriend," Serena said.
"He does?" Shauna asked, looking at Kairi. "Her?"
"Yes, the one with the auburn red hair," Serena said. "I don't get how he could choose her over me."
"She is very pretty, but you're even prettier than her," Shauna said. "I'll support you in your fight to win over Sora's affection!"
"Huh? Fight for Sora's affection?" Serena asked.
"You heard me right. The reason you have my support is because you're my best friend. You gained a rival, and you didn't even know it yet. My mom always told me that you should fight for what you want in life. And it's really obvious you want Sora to yourself," Shauna said.
"Yeah, but," Serena said, looking at Sora.
"No, buts Serena," Shauna said.
The group made it to the battlefield where Sora and Clemont had their first battle before Fletchling interrupted. Sora is reminded of how Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise were when Sora first met them. He accessed his Pokémon Box and exchanged Chespin, Bunnelby, and Fletchling for Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise.
"Sora, which ones did you bring over here?" Ventus asked.
"Just these three," Sora said, opening the Pokéballs, letting out Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. Trevor, Tierno, and Shauna were awestruck by the three Pokémon as were Calem, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie.
"A Venusaur, Blastoise, and a Charizard," Clemont said. "These are yours, Sora?"
"Yeah. I was feeling a bit nostalgic, and I thought I show them to these three to make them feel inspired.
"I do feel inspired," Tierno said. "A cool-looking Blastoise is what I'm hoping what my new Squirtle will evolve into after being a Wartortle."
"The same thing with my new Charmander," Trevor said.
"I will have a beautiful Venusaur," Shauna said. She and the other two let out their new Pokémon, and they look up to their evolved forms. "Look, Bulbasaur, that's what you'll evolve into someday."
"Take a good look, Squirtle, because you're going to be extremely awesome as a Blastoise," Tierno said.
"This is what you will become, Charmander. You'll be make an awesome Charizard," Trevor said.
The three Pokémon looked at their evolved forms in awe. The Pokémon were feeling really inspired and they wondered if they will be as powerful as the three looking at them. Sora walked over to the three Pokémon and he smiled.
"You three are full of potential, and I know you can realize that potential," Sora said. Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle all smiled.
"He's right, kid. Your fire isn't burning hotly yet, but your new trainer's gonna help you with that." - Charizard subtitle. Venusaur and Blastoise nodded in agreement.
They wanted to make Sora's Pokémon proud by being the strongest Pokémon they could be. They looked at their new trainers and they went up to them.
With that said, the new trainers took their leave, and started on their journey as Pokémon trainers.
"Sora, I think I'll go and find my own path as a trainer," Serena said.
"I wish you luck on your own path, Serena," Sora said. Serena smiled. She took one look at Kairi, and she promised herself she won't give up on Sora without a fight, and vowed to win his heart. Afterwards, Sora called back Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise, and exchanged them for Chespin, Bunnelby, and Fletchling.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth,Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, and the Digimon began to make their way towards Cyllage City when they came across a trainer.
"Hey, you a trainer?" The trainer asked.
"Yeah," Sora said. "I'm going to quess you're going to ask me for a battle, right?" Sora asked.
"That's exactly right. Let's make it a one-on-one match," the trainer said.
"One-on-one it is," Sora said, accepting the challenge. Both trainers got ready for the battle. The trainer takes out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Mienfoo!" The trainer called out. His Mienfoo came out, doing a fighting stance. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"You're up, Chespin!" Sora called out. His Pokéball opened and Chespin came out, doing a few jabs in the air.
"Mienfoo! Use Mega Punch!" The trainer ordered. Mienfoo came right at Chespin with Mega Punch.
"Dodge and use Tackle!" Sora ordered. Chespin dodged and lands a tackle onto Mienfoo. "Use Vine Whip!" Chespin unleashed Vine Whip.
"Detect!" The trainer ordered. Mienfoo manages to dodge by using Detect. "Use Mega Punch!" Mienfoo lands a punch onto Chespin. "Great! Now, use Double Slap!" Mienfoo slapped Chespin a couple of times.
"Chespin! Use Tackle!" Sora ordered. Chespin tackled Mienfoo, knocking it down. "Use Vine Whip!" Chespin grabbed Mienfoo with Vine Whip and tossed the martial arts Pokémon in the air.
"Mienfoo! Use Mega Punch!" The trainer ordered. Mienfoo came running at Chespin again.
"Use Bite!" Sora ordered. Chespin ran towards Mienfoo, and lands a bite onto Mienfoo's arm. Mienfoo yelped in pain as Chespin lets go of Mienfoo. "Use Tackle!"
"Detect!" The trainer ordered. Mienfoo uses Detect to dodge Tackle.
"Tackle again!" Sora ordered. Chespin lands Tackle onto Mienfoo, dealing some damage. "Vine Whip!" Chespin whips Mienfoo a couple of times. "One more Tackle!" Chespin uses Vine Whip to launch himself at Mienfoo, landing a hit. Mienfoo had been taken down.
"Aah, Mienfoo!" The trainer exclaimed.
"Way to go, Sora!" Kairi cheered for her boyfriend.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said. The trainer called back Mienfoo and he smiled.
"That was an awesome battle. You're a tough trainer," the trainer said.
"Thanks, so we were you," Sora said.
Both shook hands as they took their leave. Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Eevee, Azurill, Angel, Meowth, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, Dedenne, and the Digimon continued their journey throughout the Kalos region. Who knows what adventures will come their way, and how will they be able to handle the Malefic Pokémon created by Team Shadow? More to come, soon.
