Episode 533: A Day in Kindergarten
We open the scene with a Chespin and a short young girl with fair skin, orange eyes, and spiky maroon hair. She wore a slightly tomboyish outfit that consists of a yellow long-sleeved shirt, a small light green cloak with darker green edges, and long dark green pants with two light green triangles on the waist and lighter green cuffs. She also wore brown suspenders to keep her pants in place, along with gray socks paired with brown shoes. For accessories, she wore a yellowish-orange scarf tied with a matching ribbon, along with a small bracelet on her right wrist and a green hat with orange triangles and a small yellow pompom on top.
They were walking through the woods when they heard a loud roar in the distance. Chespin froze and rushed to the girl. Chespin was shivering with fear at the sound.
Not too far away there is a tall, slim teenager with messy black hair, and blue eyes walking through the woods. He typically sports a pair of baggy, gray pants, a black, leather jacket, black boots, a blue shirt with a white undershirt, and a pair of fingerless gloves. He also wore a pale, blue scarf that closely resembles the flames that appear from Mega Charizard X's mouth. He heard the roar as well. He stopped and listened.
"No Pokémon I know can make a roar like that," the teenager said.
In seperate parts of the forest, Calem and Serena heard the roar as well. They saw several Pokémon terrified of the sound.
"I hope Sora isn't caught in the middle of whatever it is," Serena said.
"Serena, hope you're doing okay," Calem said.
In the same forest, a ternage couple are wondering the forest and hold hands very lovingly.
One of them is a young man with blonde hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. He wore a red soccer shirt, a long-sleeved beige undershirt, a yellow and blue vest, gray soccer shorts, blue and yellow soccer shoes, and red socks.
The other is a young woman who has dishwater blonde hair tied in a ponytail with a pink hair-tie, blue eyes, and pale skin. She wore a white long sleeved ruffled shirt with a big collar, a pink long-sleeved coat opened with curving collars, a blue slightly pleated skirt with white lace-hem on it, black knee-length pants with white cuffs, red shoes with yellow details, brown straps and brown soles, and white socks.
They held each other when they heard the roar.
"What is that?" The young woman asked.
"I don't know, but it doesn't seem close," the young man said. She held him tight, and he did the same thing. "Stay close to me, Helen, and I'll make sure you stay safe."
"I'm always safe with you around, Will," Helen said. The couple kissed each other passionately and parted lips as they parted. They smiled at each other.
The very next morning after dealing with Doland the Pokémon Smuggler, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, and the Digimon started to make their leave of the Pokémon Center, and continued on their way to Cyllage City. The wolf from before continued to follow them. With her is a wolf pup with the same kind of marks. She's been keeping him close to her, since she didn't want him to go too far.
Meanwhile, Minato Arisato sat in a cell, letting his resurrection run through his thoughts. It felt just like moments just when he died in the arms of Aigis. The image of a girl with short, blonde hair and light blue eyes.She wore a high-school uniform that seems suitable for girls.
"Aigis," Minato could only say.
"Thought I felt weird," a voice spoke. He turned to see a familiar face; familiar to him anyway. He has black, swept back hair, blue eyes, and a beauty mark under his left eye. He wears a school uniform that is suitable for male students, with the added detail of folded black sleeves. He also wore black suspenders, a watch with crossed straps on his left wrist, and a yellow scarf.
"No way! Ryoji Mochizuki?! How did you get here?" Minato asked.
"I was wondering the same thing!" Ryoji said. "One minute, I was flirting with some girl, and the next thing I know, we're back together again! How did you come back to life? You're dead, or maybe I'm the one who's dead, and we're both ghosts."
"Some guy said he brought me back to life, and I have no idea where I am or what year it is," Minato said.
"You haven't missed much," Ryoji said. Just then, a dimensional rift opened and pulled Minato right inside. He found himself in a familiar place to him.
"The Velvet Room?" Minato asked. "How did I get in here?"
"I brought you here, Minato Arisato," Cosma said as she appeared. Minato turned and saw her. "I saved you from a fate worse than death."
"Why?" Minato asked.
"Because you have been through enough. Enslavement is not a life to live. They intended to make you a soulless, emotionless tool for their own evil purposes," Cosma said. "So, I brought you back in a familiar setting."
"Why do you care about me that much?" Minato asked.
"Because every life is precious to me. My heart ached to see you die in Aigis's arms, and if I were not forbidden to meddle in your world's affairs, I would help you instantly," Cosma said.
"What can I do?" Minato asked.
"I can send you to a world that is different from your own; that was where you were revived. There are those who will sympathize with you. Mateus and Xande will not know of your disappearance; and bring in the other members of SEES over to you."
"You can do that?" Minato asked.
"I can," Cosma said. "I will bring them to you; until then, wait in here," Cosma said, vanishing as she appeared.
Meanwhile back in Kalos, the warriors were reunited with Fiora, Ty, Yooka, and Laylee. Fiora gave Shulk an earful for letting him and the others get captured. And then she's been giving him the silent treatment.
"You've been giving me the cold shoulder ever since after you chewed me out. What gives?" Shulk asked.
"What gives is that you let yourselves get caught after you promised not to do anything stupid. And what do you do?"
"I'm sorry," Shulk apologized.
"Not as sorry I'll make you later," Fiora said. Shulk groaned. Yooka and Laylee were witnessing the squabble between them.
"Looks like those two are at it again," Laylee said.
"You sure we should be watching this, Laylee? It doesn't feel right," Yooka said.
"Don't be such a softie, Yooka. We knew this was coming," Laylee said. Just then, a small cavebaby with a big head lands on the ground. Shulk, Fiora, Yooka, and Laylee saw his feet stick out.
"Totally radical!" A new voice said. It belonged to a brown anthromorphic t rex with a skateboard came rolling in.
"Seriously Radical Rex, you and Bonk were ruining a good show for us!" Laylee said.
"Uh, maybe we should pull him out," Yooka suggested. The chameleon and bat started to pull the cavebaby by the feet. With one good yank, he goes flying again. Bonk makes a landing into a bush, scaring several Oddish out of hiding. "New distance record!"
"Do you mind?" Shulk asked.
"Sorry dudes," Radical Rex apologized before he rode on his skateboard. Yooka and Laylee went with the dinosaur as well. Shulk turned to Fiora.
"Look, I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry! We couldn't wait for you," Shulk said.
"That's no excuse for what you did, Shulk. I just can't understand why you have to show off like that? How will we be a couple if you won't open up with me once in a while?" Fiora asked.
"I'll do better next time. Whenever I get out of line, you can put me back in, deal?" Shulk asked.
"Deal," Fiora said. She forgave him for being so reckless. "Just don't do that again." Shulk smiled nervously.
Back to the group, the group are encountered by a young woman, wearing clothing that matches the coloring of a Sylveon. She has long dark pink hair, tied in a huge ponytail by a Sylveon ribbon.
"If two trainer's eyes happen to meet, the rule is they have a battle," the young woman said.
"Oh, I know that rule like the back of my own hand," Sora said.
"Before we begin, I would to introduce myself. My name's Penelope," Penelope introduced herself. "Sylveon! Come on out!" Her Pokéball opened and her Sylveon came out to battle.
"A Sylveon," Karen said.
"Pikachu," Blossom said.
"The name's Sora, and here's my Pokémon," Sora said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Fennekin!" His Pokéball opened and Fennekin emerged from inside it.
"Promise me someghing," Penelope said.
"Promise what?" Sora asked.
"If you happen to lose, then you will have to come with me, sweetie," Penelope said.
"Come with you?" Sora asked, confused. "I'll put that into consideration afterwards."
"I'll accept that. You may have the first move," Penelope said.
"Fennekin! Use Ember!" Sora ordered. Fennekin fired Ember at the Fairy Type Eeveelution.
"Sylveon! Use Fairy Wind!" Penelope ordered. Sylveon unleashed Fairy Wind, and it blocked Fennekin's Fairy Wind. It blows Fennekin back. "Now, use Moonblast!" Sylveon fired Moonblast at the fox Pokémon.
"Dodge with Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Fennekin uses Quick Attack to dodge Sylveon's Moonblast. "Use Flame Charge!" Fennekin charged right at Sylveon with Flame Charge.
"Use Attract!" Penelope ordered. Sylveon unleashed Attract onto Fennekin, but it does nothing on her. Penelope was stunned to see it failed. Fennekin lands a successful hit onto Sylveon, raising her speed. "Wait, Sora, could your Fennekin be female by any chance?"
"Yeah," Sora replied.
"Attract only works if the opponent is of the opposite sex," Clemont said.
"Let's try this! Use Draining Kiss!" Penelope ordered. Sylveon hopped over to Fennekin, and placed a kiss on her nose, draining some of her stamina.
"Fennekin! Use Ember!" Sora ordered. Instead of Ember, Fennekin unleashed Flamethrower, striking Sylveon on the spot. "Wow! You just learned to use Flamethrower!" Fennekin beamed, having to be praised by Sora. "Okay, use Quick Attack!" Fennekin ran towards Sylveon, faster than before. She lands a hit onto Sylveon. "Use Scratch!" Fennekin scratched Sylveon, ending the battle. Sylveon was defeated. Penelope went to Sylveon's side.
"Are you okay, Sylveon?" Penelope asked with concern.
"Sylv," Sylveon replied.
"Don't be sorry for losing. You did your best," Penelope said. She fed the intertwining Pokémon an Oran Berry, healing from her injuries. She took out another one and threw it to Sora. "Here, you take one, too."
"Thanks," Sora said, catching the berry. He fed it to Fennekin. She gladly ate it since it was from Sora. "Okay, where exactly would I have to go with you?"
"To a kindergarten I work in. I'm a teacher," Penelope said.
"A kindergarten? You know, you could have said that, and we still would have gone with you," Sora said.
"He's right. And we'll still come with you," Kairi said.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
"Eevee, vee," Angel said.
"I'm glad, because my class would love to meet all the Pokémon you have," Penelope said. She escorted the group to a school, where several kids are happily playing. They spotted Penelope returning with the group.
"Look, it's Miss Penelope!" One little boy said.
"I'm back, children. Did everyone behave while I was gone?" Penelope asked her students.
"Yes, ma'am. We've been really good," the first boy said.
"What kind of Pokémon did you find bring here for us today?" Another boy asked. One of the girls spotted the Pokémon and Digimon with the group.
"Look, Pikachu! And also Eevee and a Meowth," one of the girls said.
"And what kind of Pokémon are these?" Another boy asked.
"We're not Pokémon," Palmon said.
"That one just talked," another girl said.
"They're not Pokémon at all. They're creatures called Digimon And they're our friends. Meet Agumon, Gabumon, Tentomon, Biyomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Veemon, Wormmon, Armadillomon, Hawkmon, Patamon, and Gatomon," Sora introduced the Digimon one-by-one.
"Hi there," Gabumon greeted.
"Wow, I never thought I would see a real Digimon," one girl said.
"My big sister told me about them," another girl said.
"So did mine," another boy said.
"If you think that's amazing, then here's a talking Meowth," Ventus said.
"That's right, kiddos!" Meowth said.
"I didn't know a Pokémon can talk," the first girl said.
"I never seen a real Meowth before," the first boy said.
"My, my, looks like you brought Pokémon with trainers today," an elderly woman said.
"Yes, ma'am," Penelope said.
"You bring Pokémon here?" Aqua asked.
"Yes. Everyday, Penelope sets out to find and befriend harmless Pokémon for the children to play with. It's a good way for the children to learn about Pokémon up close," the elderly woman said.
"May we see the Pokémon, please?" The first boy asked. Sora chuckled.
"Sure thing, kids," Sora said, taking out his Pokéballs. "Come out, everybody!" Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Fletchling, and the Pokéball pattern Vivillon emerged from inside. Kairi did the same thing as Vulpix, Pumpkaboo, and the Elegant pattern Vivillon came out as well. Riku thought of bringing out Scyther, but decided against it since he might end up scaring them, especially when Scyther swipes at them. He did let out his Froakie. Stars swirled around him when he came out. Clemont has let out Helioptile as well. Azurill, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, and Dedenne joined right in the fray.
"Wow, two Vivillon, a Fletchling, a Chespin, a Fennekin, two Froakie, a Pumpkaboo, a Helioptile, a Vulpix, and an Azurill," the first girl said.
A little boy was wondering around. He wore a hat with sides. He hid behind the pillars to avoid being seen. Terra and Thor were with a couple of kids as they make an acquaintance with him.
"Wow, your Pikachu looks very strong," the first boy said.
"Well, Thor has been getting some exercise everyday," Terra said. "Isn't that right, Thor?"
"Chu," Thor said.
"What kind of name is Thor?" The second boy asked.
"A good, strong name. I named him after the god of thunder, and one of the sons of Odin, and I thought it was appropriate for him," Terra said.
"Cool," the two boys said.
A boy and a girl were playing with Azurill when she bounced on her tail.
"Azurill is such a little cutie," the girl said.
"Is Azurill the only Pokémon you've got?" The boy asked.
"Yes. I had Azurill ever since she hatched from an egg we found," Naminé said.
"Azu, Azu," Azurill chirped.
"So, Azurill's a girl?" The girl asked.
"Yes she is. And she's the cutest girl I know," Naminé said.
"Your Eevee looks really cool. It's got hair just like yours," the boy said.
"Well, he likes it," Eevee said.
"Do you have other Pokémon with you?" The boy asked.
"Well, I have one other one with me, but I don't know," Riku said.
"Can we see it, please?" The boy asked.
"I wanna see it, too!" The girl added.
"You might as well, Riku," Naminé said.
"Fine, you twisted my arm," Riku said, taking out Scyther's Pokéball. He opened it and Scyther came right out.
"Cool, a Scyther!" The boy said.
"Don't get too close, kid. Scyther's arms aren't to be messed with," Riku warned. "Scyther can use them to cut up anything that messes with them."
"Scyther," the mantis Pokémon said. Riku was sure he was going to be scared of Scyther, but it had the opposite effect on them.
Two girls were tending to Vulpix, fascinated with her six tails.
"Wow, I never seen a real Vulpix before," the first girl said.
"Now you have. She is really cute, don't you think?" Kairi asked.
"Really cute," the second girl said, petting her. "Wow, Vulpix's fur is really soft."
"I have been brushing her everyday. My boyfriend did the same thing for his Vulpix before he evolved her into a Ninetales," Kairi said.
"He had a Vulpix, too?" The first girl asked.
"And he evolved it?" The second girl asked.
"Yeah. And his Vulpix was just as cute as mine," Kairi said. "But I also had an Alolan Vulpix, and I evolved mine into an Alolan Ninetales. And I'll tell you, no matter the Type, Ninetales are beautiful Pokémon." The girls were awestruck to imagine how beautiful Ninetales are.
"And what about your Eevee? Will you evolve it into a Sylveon like Miss Penelope?" The second girl asked.
"No, I think she's cuter the way she is," Kairi said. "And, that's what she has in common with my boyfriend's Pikachu."
"Eevee," Angel said. She went over to Pikachu and nuzzled him. Pikachu smiled and he nuzzled her back.
"Aw," the girls cooed.
Several kids were looking at the Vivillon with interest.
"Wow, I didn't know Vivillon had different patterns than other Pokémon," one of the boys said.
"Yeah, Vivillon all have different patterns, depending on where they're from," Sora said. The kids were awestruck with what he said. "The one with the Pokéball pattern's mine while the other one belongs to my girlfriend."
"Wow, Vivillon are even prettier in person than in any book," one of the girls said.
"Who wants to feed them?" Sora asked, taking out some Pokémon food. All the kids started to raise their hands at once.
"Me, me, me!" All the kids chanted.
"Okay, okay, one at a time," Sora said, laughing.
The other kids were crowding around Meowth.
"So, how come you can talk like a person, Meowth?" One of the boys asked.
"It's a pretty long story," Meowth said nervously. To those who have forgotten, Meowth taught himself how to talk like a human being in an attempt to impress Meowsie, and she wasn't interested in him, one bit. "But I can understand what other Pokémon can say."
"Really?" One of the girls asked.
"Sure. I act as a translator to my compadres, whenever they need me to translate for them, since they can't understand like me," Meowth said.
"So cool. Can you understand what Sylveon says, Meowth?" The first boy asked.
"Yeah. Sylveon was saying how much she loves ya kids," Meowth said.
The wolf and her pup were watching the group with the kids. The pup wanted to go play with the human children, but his mother told him not to leave her side. Just then, an anthromorphic bat with red fur came gliding in. He wore a red jacket, and a black bodysuit with a capital A on the chest, and on his shoes.
"There you are, Amaterasu. I was looking for you," the bat said. The wolf pup went up to the bat and licked him. "Hey there, Chibiterasu." He pets the pup. "What are you doing here?" He saw the group with the kids. "Oh, so you're following them, huh? Not sure why. But you should come with me. Heard that Shulk, Lucina, and the others got caught before." Amaterasu and Chibiterasu went with the bat.
Meanwhile in the Velvet Room, Minato sat alone in the room as a several members are teleported in. One of them is a boy with styled short brown hair and eyes. He is wearing a black turtleneck shirt underneath an orange and black jersey and black shorts. Another is a teenage girl who has short teal-blue hair and dark brownish-gray eyes. She wore a black turtleneck underneath a light green poncho with a yellow flower pattern, a long faded jade-green skirt, black legging, and black slippers.Another is a girl who has neck-length light brown hair and brown eyes. She wore small white earrings in both of her ears.She is wearing a long pink off-the-shoulder dress with lace-sewn patterns and fur linings over her skirt alongside a pair of tan knee-high boots with a fur trim. Another is the tallest young man. He has unkempt brown hair, worn perpetually under a beanie, and steel-colored eyes.His clothing is relatively simple, consisting mainly of a maroon peacoat, black pants and brown Chelsea shoes. Another is a young man who has short silver hair, gray eyes and wore a white band-aid above his left eye. He wore ared v-neck t-shirt and white pants. Another is a humanoid android. She has a golden helm-like headpiece with a red butterfly visor. Her skin is pale, she has black hair and red eyes. As an android, her body is mostly mechanical. Her armored body is black, though her right arm is white almost to resemble a long extended glove. She has a metallic "skirt" which continues the red butterfly motif. Another is a young man who has dark grayish-black hair, gray-colored eyes and a goatee. He is shown to be slightly taller than the male protagonist, yet shorter than the silver-haired young man. The only animal with them is a small white and grayshiba inu with red eyes. He has a red armband on his front left leg, a miniature white t-shirt and very small angel-esque wings on his back. And finally there was Aigis herself. They were all surprised to see him again.
"Minato?" Aigis asked in shock.
"Aigis, Mitsuru, Akihiko, Yukari, Junpei, Fuuka, Ken, Metis," Minato said. The dog leapt on him and licked him affectionately. "Koromaru, get off me!"
"I don't believe it! Minato's alive?!" Akihiko exclaimed in shock.
"Or maybe he's a ghost," Ken said.
"There's no such things as ghosts, Ken," Junpei said.
"I'm no ghost," Minato said.
"Are you an illusion?" Mitsuru asked.
"Are we imagining you?" Fuuka asked.
"No, you're not imagining me either. Cosma made good of her word," Minato said.
"Cosma? Metis asked.
"Long story," Minato said.
"How are you alive?" Aigis asked. "You died in my arms, so how is it possible?"
"I was brought back to life by someone named Xande. Cosma explained that he and some other guy, what's-his-name had some nasty plans for me," Minato explained. "Next thing I knew, I was thrown in a cell, and I got out and I'm in the Velvet Room. And I'm seeing you again with my own eyes."
"We're happy to see you alive," Ken said.
"As am I," Cosma said, appearing before them.
"Who are you?" Misuru asked.
"Cosma," Minato said. "Now that we're all here, you're going to send us to that other world, right?"
"Yes. I will be sending you to a land known as the Kalos region. This land does not exist in your world, but you must avoid the ones known as Team Shadow at all costs," Cosma said.
"Wait," Yukari said.
"There is no time," Cosma said. She sends them to the Kalos region.
Over to Team Shadow HQ, Mateus sat in his office, speaking with a bespectacled, middle-aged man with dark brown eyes, long wavy brown hair and a goatee. He wears a tan jacket over his brown turtleneck.
"So, you allowed him to escape? I should have known better than to put my trust into your hands," the middle-aged man said.
"Mind your tongue, Shuji Ikutsuki. Remember that Xande has brought you back to life, and I will be the one who can put you back to your grave," Mateus said. "Someone has to be behind it, of that I am certain."
"So, what do we do?" Shuji Ikutsuki asked.
"For now, we do nothing," Mateus said. "And when he hits our radar, then we will be ready. And when he has allies to aid him, then they will meet the same fate when we destroy him."
Back in Kalos, the group said their goodbyes to the kindergarteners and to Penelope and her Sylveon.
"Good luck in your Gym battle, Sora!" Penelope called out.
"Thanks! I'll do my best!" Sora said.
As the group continued on their way, many more adventures will soon come their way, so stick around if you wanna see what happens next.
