Episode 536: A Jolting Switcheroo
A couple of days came and went since Chespin lost the extra weight from eating too much. Sora made his mission to exercise Chespin after every meal to avoid it from happening again.
"Okay, Chespin! Tackle!" Sora ordered. Chespin ran towards a tree, and knocked some leaves down from it. "Now, use Vine Whip!" Chespin gave the tree a couple of smacks, making some more leaves fall out. "That's the way!"
"Pika, Pika, Pikachu!" Pikachu said. Just then, a Mime Jr comes along and mimics Chespin's movements. Chespin turned to see the Mime Jr doing the same thing.
"Mime, Mime Jr, Mime," Mime Jr said.
"Mime Jr?" Sora asked.
"Pika?" Pikachu asked.
"Mime, Mime, Mime!" Mime Jr does a little pirouette, and then jumps up another tree.
"Okay," Sora said. He knew Mime Jr mimics anyone they come across, but he went back to training.
Meanwhile, the Munchlax from before continued to follow the group, hoping to have some more food from them. Munchlax was obsessed with the Pokémon food Kairi made before. This Munchlax tasted different before, but it has never tasted anything like that before.
"I want more of that tasty grub!" - Munchlax subtitle. The big eater Pokémon kept on rushing to find the group.
Meanwhile in Saffron City, Bubble Crab pulled up a small vault full of cash. He grinned as he saw the money.
"Money, money, money. If I had lips, I would kiss you," Bubble Crab said. Just then, a blast of energy struck Bubble Crab on the back. He turned to see Mega Man. "Oh, so you're the bot before Mega Man X; the first Mega Man. Or should I say Mega Brat!"
"Don't underestimate me. X told me all about you Mavericks! I don't understand why you have to do these awful things !" Mega Man said.
"Even if I explain myself, I doubt a broken down old school pile of scrap could ever understand! Now to put you in the junkyard where you belong!" Bubble Crab said. Bubble Crab unleashed a ring of bubbles, and sends towards the blue bomber. Just then, Mega Man dodged and he switched to one of his weapons. "Okay! Wheel Cutter!" Mega Man sends out a spiked wheel and sends it right at the crab-like Maverick. Bubble Crab dodged as well. Wheel Gator sends out a spiked wheel as well. Mega Man was struck by the wheel.
"I knew this was gonna happen. You're not only greedy, but you're weak to be bested by some old junk robot!" Wheel Gator said.
"Shut up! I didn't ask you for your help, you metallic suitcase!" Bubble Crab argued.
"Well, I didn't wanna help you either, crab legs!" Wheel Gator argued back. Just then, another blast is fired, separating them. They turned to see it came from X.
"Mega Man X!" Wheel Gator and Bubble Crab exclaimed in unison.
"Some things never change. You always did argue before you joined up with Sigma!" X said.
"You're not standing in our way, X!" Wheel Gator said, firing from his forehead. X dodged and fired at the two Mavericks. They managed to dodge again. Mega Man joined his futuristic counterpart, and fired at the two Mavericks. A dimensional rift opened beneath them, and they went through.
"Blast! They got away!" X exclaimed.
"If they're here, wouldn't that mean their boss is here, too?" Mega Man asked.
"You're probably right. I had that suspension ever since Dr. Eggman launched his attack," X said. He made contact with the SMASH Tower. "X to SMASH Tower. Requesting to re-enter."
"Request sustained," Alia said. She teleported both Mega Men back to the SMASH Tower. "So, what happened down there?"
"It was Bubble Crab again. And this time, he had an uneasy assistance from Wheel Gator," X said.
"Wheel Gator? Those two were always at each other's throats. I know we haven't seen the last of them," Alia said.
"Agreed," X said.
"And I have a feeling that Eggman and those Mavericks aren't the only ones we need to worry about," Mega Man said.
Elsewhere on the SMASH Tower, Gex is sitting and watching the fifth Halloween episode of The Simpsons.
"So what do you think, Marge? All I need is a title. I was thinking along the lines of 'No TV and No Beer Make Homer' something something," Homer said on the screen.
"Go crazy?" Marge asked in a timid tone.
"Don't mind if I do!" Homer said on the screen. The sounds of Homer's sounds can be heard. Marge screams. Shattering glass is heard.
"Stay away from me, Homer!" Marge said. Swinging sounds are heard.
"Give me the bat, Marge. Gimme the bat. Come on. Gimme the bat. Gimme the bat!" Homer said, making some more crazy noises. He laughed. "Scaredy cat. Bleaahhh." Homer screams. Gex chuckled.
"Gets funnier every time I see it," Gex said. Just then, a news coverage interrupts The Simpsons. "D'oh!"
"We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming for this news bulletin," a voice spoke.
"Things are heating up as strange Pokémon are being sighted in the streets of Pewter City; and witnesses are saying that these Pokémon all have black and white mettalic objects on their bodies. The witnesses described them in being members of Team Shadow, and they called them 'Malefic Pokémon'. We go live with one of the witnesses now," the reporter said. The scene switches to Scarlett Garcia with a young male trainer.
"This is Scarlett Garcia live on the scene, and I am with one a young trainer who claimed that they have seen one of these Pokémon just half an hour ago. Young man, can you describe your experience with this strange Pokémon?" Scarlett asked.
"I was having a battle with one of those Team Shadow guys, and he used one of those strange Pokémon; it was a Rhydon. It had one of those strange things on its face and horn. I sent out my Wartortle against that thing, but my Water Type moves didn't hurt it much, and I was easily beaten," the young trainer said.
"It's true!" Another trainer said. "I had a run-in with one of those, too, but it was a Hariyama! It took down my Hypno like it was no problem!" The other trainer said. The scene switches back to the reporter.
"So, now we go live to Looker who is making a statement," the reporter said. Looker is making his statement.
"We cannot deny that Team Shadow is involved in this incident, but we can an assure you that we will capture these criminals on sight. And if any trainer is caught in possession of these strange Pokémon will suspected of being members of Team Shadow, and then arrested, and then prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The possession of these so-called Malefic Pokémon is now illegal worldwide! And I hope you are watching, Team Shadow, because we will come for you, and I will make it my personal mission to see that you share a cell with the likes of Team Rocket, Team Plasma, and Team Galactic! Even if it takes me the rest of my life!" Looker stated.
"It looks like we're not the only ones looking into it," Link said. Gex turned to see Link with Pit.
"Man, what's the deal?" Pit asked.
"How long you've been there?" Gex asked.
"Since the news coverage started," Pit said. "Just like Sora said, they match the description perfectly."
"Speaking of which, we should let him know about these incidents," Link stated.
"Right," Pit agreed. "Tails should be done with those gadgets of his soon. And while we're on the subject, what about Pewter City?"
"We got a small band looking into it," Link said.
In Pewter City, the Cooper Gang is driving in Pewter City's streets, searching for Team Shadow, and some Malefic Pokémon. With them are the Bomber Man Brothers. Blue Bomber is sleeping in the back as usual.
"This has got to be the third time we came by here," Red Bomber said.
"Murray, you sure this is the way?" White Bomber asked.
"Uh, I'm sure it was," Murray said.
"Ugh, We've been at this for hours. Something has got to be up," Bentley said.
"Why do I have a feeling we're being distracted?" Black Bomber asked.
"The question is, what?" Bentley asked.
"Maybe, I could try to find some clues by foot. Maybe, there could be something we're missing, and don't know it," Sly said.
"That's a very likely scenario, Sly," Bentley said.
"While you do that, we can head back to the SMASH Tower, and we can compare notes later," White Bomber said. Blue Bomber snores loudly.
"That's if we can get Blue to stay awake for more than five minutes," Green Bomber said.
"Ten if we're lucky," Yellow Bomber said.
Sly steps out of the van, and he snuck around the city. He jumped from rooftop to rooftop. He stopped when he saw a familiar face. He saw it was a a massive bulldog with lilac fur, large muscular arms, and small and seemingly degenerated legs since he only focused on exercising his upper body. As he grew up lifting weights, he became a huge, muscular beast of a dog. His arms are so huge and long, he walks on his knuckles like a gorilla, while his puny legs dangle, having no other use except standing and kicking at a close distance. He has a thick mustache and mono-brow, which are identical to one another.He wore a tank top and spiked wristbands, and two machine-guns strapped on his back. "Muggshot. Thought he went solo after the Fiendish Five went under." He took out his binocucom. "Bentley, you're not going to believe this, but I just saw Muggshot just now."
"Muggshot? You sure you're not seeing things, Sly?" Bentley asked.
"Who's the only bulldog we know who walks around like he's a gorilla?" Sly asked.
"I see your point, Sly. What would he be doing here, I wonder," Bentley said.
"Knowing Muggshot, he's probably looking for some payback. One for Mesa, and one for getting him booked back in Holland," Sly said.
"Just how do you know this Muggshot guy?" White Bomber asked.
"Muggshot was a member of the Fiendish Five. He, along with Raleigh, Ms. Ruby, the Panda King, and Clockwerk broke in my house when I was eight, and helped kill my parents," Sly explained.
"How awful," Pink Bomber said.
"We should figure out how Muggshot's connected to this mess," Sly said.
"Agreed. Follow Muggshot, and we might learn something from him," Bentley said.
"It'll be fun to get under his skin like a tick," Sly said. Sly began to follow Muggshot through the streets of Pewter City, being careful, not being seen by him. He kept on following him until he met up with Ganondorf, waiting for him at an undisclosed location. "Ganondorf? Looks like Sora was right about him after all." He took out his binocucom and he snapped some pictures.
"Is this world to your liking, Muggshot?" Ganondorf asked.
"I'm grateful to yas for busting me out, but what's in it for me? What do I get out of it?" Muggshot asked.
"Revenge on Sly Cooper, the Cooper Gang, and Carmelita Fox. Isn't that enough?" Ganondorf asked.
"Revenge on those mugs? Ya busted me out of the bighouse for that?" Muggshot asked.
"Of course. And before long, you will build yourself a brand new criminal empire in this world. If you thought you were top dog in your world, then imagine how that title will make you feel here," Ganondorf said.
"Top dog in this world? I like the sound at that. And you also had me at settling the score on those jerks, Ganondorf," Muggshot said.
"I thought you would, Muggshot. They are not without allies, so if you agree to cooperate with us, then you will rule your criminal enterprise, unopposed," Ganondorf said.
"And if I said no?" Muggshot asked.
"Then, you will be put back where I found you, and you will be a caged dog once again," Ganondorf said.
"Oh. Just checking. Okay, I'm in," Muggshot said.
"You have made a wise choice, my friend," Ganondorf said, laughing. Muggshot couldn't help but laugh as well.
The Cooper Van teleports in the SMASH Tower as Bentley, Murray, and the Bomberman Brothers steps out.
"Where's Sly?" Carmelita asked.
"Sly's looking into something," Bentley said.
"I could have done that, like those robberies taking place," Carmelita said.
"Mega Man and X already did that," Roll said. "Now, Murray, you ready for some lunch?" The pink hippo rushed to have some lunch, which is a large pizza with the works, a mountain of hamburgers, and hot dogs. He wolfed the food down very fast.
"You had to say it, Roll," Bentley deadpanned.
In a training room, Zero was doing target practice as a hologram of Vile was shooting at Zero. He jumped and sliced Vile's arm off. The hologram disappeared.
"The real one isn't going to be that easy," Zero said.
"No, it wasn't," Ryu said, walking up to him. "That's why we train for it, Zero."
"Ryu, I thought you were on the planet, looking into Team Shadow's activities," Zero said.
"Ken's doing that for me. Also, he said he needed to pick a gift for Eliza," Ryu said.
"I see," Zero said.
Speaking of which, he picked out a bouquet of flowers. The florist is an elderly woman.
"Now, these will do," Ken said.
"Oh, I hope so, sir. Your wife must be a lucky woman to have a loving husband like you. In fact, the world would be a much better place if all men were just like you," the florist said. That made Ken smile. He paid for his purchase and took his leave. He returned to the SMASH Tower, and he enters the coordinates. He entered the dimensional rift and walked in to find a woman with blonde hair. He held out the bouquet in front. She turned to Ken with a smile.
"Ken," the woman said, happily.
"Hey, Eliza. Just wanted to surprise you," Ken said.
"That's mighty sweet of you, Ken," Eliza said, giving her husband a kiss. "Mel made this for you while you were gone." She showed him a drawing of himself, Eliza, and the boy with blonde hair. Ken smiled at the picture.
"Hey, look at that," Ken said.
Meanwhile in Pallet Town, Jessie is holding Edward in her arms as Mirei is holding Seth.
"Thanks for inviting me for this play date, Mirei. Even though we got off on the wrong foot, but I want Edward to make some friends as much as possible," Jessie said.
"I understand, Jessie. Seth and Edward already seems to get along with one another. So, Cattleya should be here already," Mirei said. A knock on the door came. "And speak of the devil." She opened the door to see Cattleya and Yuki at the door. "Hi, Cattleya. Hi, Yuki."
"Hello, Mirei. And hello, Seth," Cattleya greeted. Seth cooed happily as Yuki laughed. Mirei let Cattleya and Yuki in as Jessie waved at Cattleya.
"Baby!" Edward said, pointing at Yuki.
"Yes, that's a baby, just like you," Jessie said. "And what a pretty little baby." Jessie cooed as she tickled her chin.
The babies began playing as Brian took out some of Sora's old baby toys, and Brianna took out Kairi's old baby toys. The three babies played with the toys as Mirei, Jessie, and Cattleya took some pictures. They were happy to see the babies playing together, knowing they have become good friends.
Back in Kalos, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, the Digimon, and SEES were walking down the forest as Bonnie was feeding Dedenne.
"Want some more, Dedenne?" Bonnie asked.
"Ne, ne, ne!" Dedenne said, waving his little arms. Bonnie fed him.
"Bonnie, you have anymore of those treats? I was thinking of feeding some to Sparky," Ventus said.
"Pika, Pika," Sparky said.
"Sure," Bonnie said, handing Ventus the treat to Ventus. He fed his Pikachu the treat.
"Now, don't you feed don't overfeed them, you two. When mealtime comes around, Sparky and Dedenne won't be hungry later," Clemont said.
"I've been careful not to feed Sparky too much," Ventus said.
"All the same, Ven, he's right. You remember what happened the last time, don't you?" Aqua asked.
"Wasn't my fault. Besides, Sparky ate that one cookie while I wasn't looking," Ventus said.
"That's why you gotta keep an eye on Sparky all the time, Ven," Sora said.
"Aren't Ven and Bonnie too young to train Pokémon on their own?" Mitsuru pointed out.
"They're actually taking care of them. Ventus took in Sparky as a family pet, but Sparky tags with Ventus like the other Pikachu do," Meowth said. "Blossom, Thor, and Eclair were with him when we first met them."
"How did you meet them?" Shinjiro asked.
"It was back in Unova. Team Shadow showed up to cause trouble as they always did. Karen and Blossom really hit it off when they took on that Dakim chump," Meowth said.
"Took on Dakim?" Ken asked.
"Yeah. He and his Camerupt were a couple of forces to be reckoned with, but she still took him down several notches, and it was her very first battle," Meowth said.
"After seeing what Sora can do, I don't doubt it for a second," Minato said.
The group made a stop to the Center in the next town. The members of SEES were dumbfounded to see Nurse Joy there..
"Hey, didn't we meet you at that one Pokémon Center?" Junpei asked.
"You must have met one of my sisters or cousins," Nurse Joy said.
"Sisters or cousins?" Yukari asked.
"Yes," Nurse Joy said, taking out a photo and showed it to the group. "See, that's me right there."
"Are all of you so identical?" Fuuka asked.
"Yes. We're all nurses, and our names are Joy," Nurse Joy said.
"You'd get used to it after a while," Sora said. "Anyway, we came to have our Pokémon checked up."
"Of course," Nurse Joy said. Sora and Kairi handed her their Pokéballs as did Clemont. She went into the back to have them cared for. Shinjiro was getting a phone call. He saw who it was from. It was in Japanese Kanji. It said Kotone Shiomi. Shinjiro looked around to make sure he was alone. He answered it.
"I'm here, Shiomi," Shinjiro said.
"Where the hell are you?" A girl's voice asked.
"I'm in a town, in a Pokémon Center," Shinjiro answered.
"A what?" Kotone asked.
"I don't have time to explain right now. Where are you?" Shinjiro asked.
"In a hotel in a place called Cyllage City," Kotone said. In a hotel room, the girl on the phone has auburn red hair, which she has in a single ponytail, along with barrettes which form the roman numeral XXII. She has red eyes and a pale complexion. She also wore a school uniform of Gekkoukan High. She wore a Gekkoukan high badge, an red ribbon tie, a neck strap mp3 player. "How are things at your end?"
"Good so far. Listen, how am I going to explain that I was dead to them? I mean that literally. They don't seem to remember anything other than your male counterpart's death. And what's even weirder, I have memories that I was there, even though I wasn't there," Shinjiro said.
"I understand, Shinjiro. But I promise you, it's going to be worth it. Just keep playing along as best as you can," Kotone said.
"Okay. We're with a group of kids and some other things, so we're on our way there. I'll meet up with you when we get there," Shinjiro said.
"How long will it take until you show up?" Kotone asked.
"Several days, maybe," Shinjiro said.
"Okay. Let me know when you get there," Kotone said. She hung up.
Back at the Pokémon Center, he puts his smartphone back in his pocket.
"It better be worth it," Shinjiro said. He rejoins the group as Terra noticed him just coming.
"Shinjiro, where did you sneak off to?" Terra asked.
"I was just looking for the bathroom," Shinjiro lied. "But it was a false alarm."
"Okay," Terra said. Shinjiro looked at Bonnie as she was petting Dedenne to sleep. Sitting close to her was a little girl with dark green hair. She is wearing a blue dress, and she has a red ribbon in her hair. She also has a similar bag as Bonnie's. She spots a girl who is identical to the little girl. She has her long hair in a long ponytail. She wore a dark gray shirt, an orange-yellow jacket, lavender pants, and red shoes. She was making a phone call. Bonnie looked at Clemont as Pikachu, Angel, and the other Pokémon were much better.
"Hi, Blossom. Feel better?" Karen asked.
"Pikachu," Blossom answered.
"All of your Pokémon are fighting fit," Nurse Joy said.
"Wigglytuff," Wigglytuff said.
"Thanks so much," Kairi said.
Bonnie gets up and she kneels behind the girl.
"Excuse me, miss?" Bonnie asked. The older girl turned around and sees her. "Would you please take care of my brother? You're a keeper!" The older girl was confused.
"She's at it again!" Sora said.
"I've told you to stop this a million times!" Clemont exclaimed with embarrassment.
"What did she mean that she's a keeper?" Yukari asked.
"Bonnie has a habit of proposing to girls, and asks them to take care of her brother as a wife," Kairi said.
"I see," Yukari said.
"He may not look like much, but he's actually a Gym Leader," Bonnie said. The little girl blinked twice as did Ventus. "He's got a great future ahead of him, so I can't look after him forever. So he needs a wife!" Clemont activates his Aipom arm and grabs Bonnie.
"Huh?" The older girl asked.
"Think about it, please!" Bonnie said.
"This is so embarrassing. Why do you do this?" Clemont asked.
"Duh! It's because you're my big brother and I care about you," Bonnie said.
"You can care about me by minding your own business!" Clemont scolded. The older girl giggled as brother and sister argued.
"Thanks for waiting, Lyn," the older girl said.
"No prob, Lena," Lyn said.
"You ready to go?" Lena asked.
"Okay," Lyn said. She took the bag, containing Dedenne without the whole group noticing. They took their leave of the Pokémon Center.
"From now on, I'll take care of myself, do you understand me?" Clemont asked.
"But, but, but!" Bonnie tried to say as a trainer stepped in.
"Hey!" The trainer said, interrupting the sibling squabble. "You're by chance Sora Ketchum, that Pokémon League Champion of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova, ain't ya?"
"Yeah, that's me," Sora said.
"Good, because I was looking for a challenge ya to a battle," the trainer challenged.
"I'm game," Sora said. "I could use a warm-up for my upcoming Gym battle."
"Great! We'll make it a one-on-one match! I'll meet ya on the battlefield in five minutes," the trainer said.
"What was that about?" Shinjiro asked.
"Sora was just challenged into a battle against that trainer. And we're about to see a real battle take place," Ventus said.
The group stepped outside as they got ready to go. The trainer took out a Great Ball, and tossed it.
"You're going in, Inkay!" The trainer called out. An Inkay came right out to battle. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Vivillon!" Sora called out. Vivillon came right out to battle against Inkay.
"Hey, I never seen a Vivillon like that before! How did ya get your mitts on that?" The trainer asked.
"That's my little secret," Sora said.
"Sora has the upper hand. Inkay is a Dark Type and a Psychic Type Pokémon," Ventus said.
"That's exactly right, Ven," Karen said. "And Inkay's weak against Bug Types."
"Seriously? Inkay's weak against a little bug?" Junpei asked.
"Like we said, Pokémon has strengths and weaknesses; Dark Type and Psychic Type Pokémon are vulnerable to Bug Type moves," Clemont said.
"Inkay! Use Peck!" The trainer ordered. Inkay darts towards Vivillon with Peck.
"Dodge and use Gust!" Sora ordered. Vivillon dodged Inkay's attack, and gave it a Gust attack. The squid-like Pokémon is struck by the wind. "Use Tackle!" Vivillon charged at Inkay.
"Inkay! Use Foul Play!" The trainer ordered. Inkay waits for Vivillon to get closer. Inkay grabbed Vivillon and then turns him around. Inkay then threw him on the ground, dealing some damage.
"Foul Play?" Ken asked.
"Foul Play is a move that works well against physical attacks," Clemont said.
"Vivillon! Use Signal Beam!" Sora ordered. Vivillon fired Signal Beam and it struck Inkay hard, causing some heavy damage. "Use Gust!" Vivillon flapped his wings, sending Inkay flying. "Signal Beam!" Vivillon fired another Signal Beam, dealing some more damage. Inkay was now taken down. The trainer called Inkay back.
"Dammit, I lost," the trainer said.
"Way to go, Sora," Ventus said. Koromaru barked.
"I can see why you're the champion, Sora. You deserved to win," the trainer said.
"Thanks. Your Inkay was really awesome," Sora said.
"Thanks," the trainer said.
Just then, a pair of ears poke out of the bag.
"Huh?" Bonnie asked. Ventus noticed her confusion.
"Bonnie, what's wrong?" Ventus asked.
"Those don't look like Dedenne's ears to me," Bonnie said.
"No, they don't," Ventus agreed. The bag opened to reveal it was a little Pichu inside. "A Pichu?"
"Pichu?" The Pichu asked.
"Where did you come from?" Ventus asked. Scared, the Pichu jumped out of the bag. The rest of the group saw the tiny mouse Pokémon, looking at them. Pichu then gave a shot of Thunder Shock. "Bonnie, look out!" Ventus pushed Bonnie out of the way.
"Ven!" Sora, Kairi, Karen, Terra, and Aqua said with concern.
"Bonnie!" Clemont also said with concern.
"You two, okay?" Sora asked.
"We're fine, but that Pichu was in Bonnie's bag!" Ventus said.
"Where that Pichu come from?" Agumon asked.
"We can worry about that after we calmed her down," Kairi said.
"Right!" Sora said.
"Sparky! Thunderbolt!" Ventus ordered. Sparky unleashed Thunderbolt, and it got Pichu to stop her Thunder Shock.
"Pichu," Pichu said.
"What kind of Pokémon are we looking at?" Akihiko asked.
"It's a Pichu," Terra said.
"For some reason, it reminds me of Pikachu," Junpei said.
"Can you explain?" Metis asked.
"Pichu is the pre-evolved form of Pikachu," Sora said. "But that doesn't answer how that Pichu ended up in Bonnie's bag." Bonnie searched the bag for Dedenne.
"Dedenne? Dedenne, where are you?" Bonnie asked. She gasped when she realized she has the wrong bag. "This isn't my bag!"
"Not your bag?" Shinjiro asked.
"Retrace your steps, Bonnie! Where did you last see Dedenne?" Meowth said.
"I was about to suggest that anyway," Sora said.
Bonnie led the whole group to the couch she was sitting on.
"It was just right here," Bonnie said.
"It's possible someone else took your bag by mistake," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"If that's the case, then we'll have to find them," Clemont said.
"Maybe Nurse Joy must have seen something," Karen said.
"It's worth a shot," Hawkmon said.
"Let's ask," Minato said.
The group went up to Nurse Joy.
"Is there something that I can help you with?" Nurse Joy asked.
"We were wondering if you've seen someone with a yellow bag similar to this one," Sora said.
"A yellow bag. Oh, that's right, I remember seeing one of those with a little girl, who was with her older sister who happens to be a trainer," Nurse Joy said.
"That's a good start," Fuuka said.
"Do you remember what the little girl looked like?" Sora asked.
"I remember that the little girl has a red ribbon in her hair," Nurse Joy said, describing the girl.
"A red ribbon, got it," Sora said.
"We got a clue at last," Meowth said.
"Hopefully, they haven't gone too far," Patamon said.
Bonnie frowned sadly, "It's all my fault. I should have been paying better attention to Dedenne, and none of this would have happened."
"Don't blame yourself, Bonnie. It could happen to anyone," Ventus said.
"He's right, Bonnie. We'll find Dedenne," Clemont assured his younger sister. Sora bent down to Pichu.
"And don't worry, Pichu. We'll find your trainer. That I promise," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Pichu!" Pichu said happily.
Meanwhile down the streets, Lena and Lyn were walking down the streets, holding hands. Lyn was unaware she has the wrong bag.
"A Lilligant! Lena, it's so cute!" Lyn said happily.
"It is," Lena said. She pulled her back. "Watch it, move back." A car passed by them. The two sisters kept on walking. "You really love Pokémon, don't you, Lyn?"
"Yeah. I wanna become a trainer just like you when I get older. So until then, I'm going to take really good care of this little Pichu," Lyn said.
"I think that's a wonderful idea," Lena agreed. Not too far, a girl with brown hair spots the two sisters.
"Huh? Is that you, Lena?" The girl asked. Lena spots the girl and smiled.
"What do you know, I had no idea you were in town," Lena said.
"I was just on my way to challenge my next Gym," the girl said.
"Which Gym is that?" Lena asked.
"The Cyllage City Gym," the girl answered. Lyn noticed her bag moving around while they were talking.
"Pichu, are you awake?" Lyn asked. Dedenne poked his head out of the bag. "Huh? You're aren't Pichu." She lets go of her hand, and hid in an alley.
"I'm so glad you're doing well," Lena said.
"You too, Lena," the girl said. "Well, it's time I got going."
"Okay," Lena said.
"And let's have another battle again sometime," the girl said, taking off.
"Sure. I'm so looking forward to it," Lena said. "Lyn, I'm sorry to keep you wai- huh? Lyn? Lyn? Where are you, Lyn? Lyn? Lyn?" She looked around for Lyn.
"Where'd you come from? And where's my friend Pichu," Lyn asked.
"Denne?" Dedenne asked.
"What happened? I was supposed to take care of Pichu for Lena, what should I do?" Lyn asked.
Meanwhile, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, the Digimon, and SEES search around for Lyn and Dedenne.
"Ugh, how could we lose them so fast?" Mitsuru asked.
"We shouldn't give up that easily. We just got started," Tentomon said.
"Okay, we could ask around to see if anyone has seen her," Karen suggested.
"Good idea," Sora said. "Let's do that."
The group splits up to find her. They asked around if they have, but as luck would put it, they haven't. Ventus stuck with Clemont and Bonnie to help them. Ventus was concerned for Bonnie the most. Everyone except for Sora and Pikachu had met up with each other.
"Anything?" Terra asked.
"Nothing," Yukari said.
"It would have been too easy to ask around," Meowth said.
"Sora's still at it, so he might get lucky," Agumon said.
"Hope so," Aigis said.
In the local park, Lyn and Dedenne sat down on a bench.
"I don't know how this could have happened," Lyn said. Dedenne jumped out of the bag and went over to a donut truck. "Do you have any idea what happened to your trainer?" She turned to Dedenne, only to see him gone. "Huh? HUH?! Oh no!" Lyn got up and looked around. "I don't see that little one anywhere!" She spotted Dedenne. "There it is!" She ran up to Dedenne. "Hey! What's going on?"
"Ne, ne, ne, ne, ne!" Dedenne said, pointing at the donut truck.
"Huh?" Lyn asked, looking at the truck. "Oh, I see. You want to gave a donut, don't you?"
"Ne, ne, ne, ne, ne!" Dedenne said.
"I like donuts, too," Lyn said, laughing. She walked up to the counter. "Excuse me, may I get a donut please?"
"Ne, ne, ne!" Dedenne said.
Meanwhile back to the group, they went back to searching for Lyn and Dedenne.
"I was wondering if you have seen a little girl with a red ribbon in her hair," Aqua said.
"No, I haven't," the woman said.
"Thank you anyway," Aqua said.
Sora has finally got a break as a woman told him that she saw the girl they were looking for is in the park.
"Thanks a lot!" Sora said. He ran back to the group. "Guys, we finally got a break! A woman just said she saw the little girl in the park not too long ago!"
"Good news!" Minato said.
Back at the park, Lyn offered Dedenne half of the donut.
"Here," Lyn said, holding the half.
"Dedenne, ne!" Dedenne said. He took the half of donut, and started to eat it happily. Lyn took a bite of the other half.
"It's yummy!" Lyn said. They ate the donut fast as Lyn took out a red ribbon, just like hers. "Here." She tied the ribbon around his right ear. "There, now we're a match. So cute! Pichu's really cute, and I really care about her a lot, but I like you, too. Wanna come home with me?"
"Ne, ne," Dedenne said.
"I'm sure your trainer's really worried about you, and I can bet he's looking for you right now. If I get back to the Pokémon Center, and bring you with me, maybe I'll find Pichu there," Lyn said. "Let's go back!" She took off just as the group were showing up.
"You sure this is the spot that lady said she saw the girl, Sora?" Junpei asked.
"That's what she said," Sora said.
"If she was here, then she must have figured out that she has Dedenne, and she's looking for us," Kairi said.
"I just thought of something, but I'll need some time," Clemont said. Everyone all looked at Clemont.
"Sounds like you got an idea," Sora said.
"There's something I wanna try that might do the trick," Clemont said. He got to work on that something. The group waited for Clemont to get done.
In the meantime, Ventus, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, and Sparky all played with Pichu. The tiny mouse Pokémon stopped running and looked up the tree.
"Pichu," Pichu said. Ventus, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, and Sparky stopped as well.
"If you want, I can get you one of those." - Pikachu subtitle.
"Really?" - Pichu subtitle.
Pikachu ran up the tree and brought down three apples. Pichu grabbed one as Sparky took one. Pikachu and Angel both shared one. They all were eating their apples.
"Look at how cute that is," Yukari cooed.
"So adorable," Fuuka said. "Especially with Pikachu and Angel sharing one together." Bonnie started to cry as Kairi walked up to her.
"Don't cry, Bonnie. We'll find Dedenne soon," Kairi said. Bonnie turned and saw how sincere she was. Pichu jumped into Bonnie's arms and nuzzled her cheek. Bonnie felt better for a little.
"Thanks, Pichu," Bonnie said, laughing.
Meanwhile, Lyn was looking for the Pokémon Center. She had the right idea, but unfortunately, she didn't know where to go.
"Where is the Pokémon Center? I don't see it anywhere," Lyn said. She took a random turn, and she noticed Dedenne was gone again. "Oh no, not again!" Lyn ran to look for Dedenne. "Where are you?" She kept running to find Dedenne, but luckily she found the antenna Pokémon sleeping in a pile of plush Pokémon toys. "There you are!" She went in, and she spoke with the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper understood the situation, and let her walk out with him. "It's a good thing I put that ribbon on you."
"Ne, ne ne," Dedenne said in his sleep.
"Aw, I can only imagine what you put your trainer through with all of your games," Lyn said as she nuzzled Dedenne.
Back at the park, Clemont has finished his invention.
"Thanks for your patience. The future is now, thanks to science!" Clemont announced as he presented a machine with a satellite dish. "Clemontic Gear on! Here's the invention that'll solve the problem at hand! It's the Radio Wave Amplification Device!"
Ventus, "Radio Wave..."
Meowth, "...Amplifi..."
Digimon, "...tion Device?"
"Allow me to explain. If you recall, Electric Type Pokémon can communicate by transmitting electricity to one another; like for example: Pikachu and Dedenne. This converts a Pikachu's electricity into radio waves and amplifies them. If we use either Pikachu, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, or Eclair, they can broadcast those waves, Dedenne should be able to sense them. I think," Clemont explained.
"And Dedenne will come running over here like a Munchlax in an all-you-can-eat buffet," Meowth said.
"How do we know it won't explode like your last invention?" Mitsuru asked.
"Mitsuru's right. Is it worth the risk?" Sora asked.
"It's perfectly fine. Now, which Pikachu will be of assistance?" Clemont asked.
"Pika!" Sparky said.
"Sparky, you wanna do it?" Ventus asked.
"Pika," Sparky nodded.
"Well, Sparky and Dedenne are pretty close, so why not?" Gabumon asked.
"You can do it, Sparky," Ken said.
"Arf, arf!" Koromaru barked as Clemont activates his machine.
"Now, we're all set," Clemont said.
"Sparky, Thunderbolt," Ventus ordered. Sparky unleashed Thunderbolt into the machine.
"Here we go then. And fire!" Clemont said, sending out a beam of electricity. It fires up into the air, creating a radio wave.
Lyn is still walking down the street, looking for the Pokémon Center, but the radio waves wakes up Dedenne, so he jumps out of the bag, and starts running.
"Where are you going? Wait!" Lyn called out, chasing after Dedenne.
Back at the park, Clemont checked on the meter.
"How's it going, Clemont?" Sora asked.
"I think it needs more power to function correctly," Clemont said.
"It's worth a shot," Sora said. He turned to Ventus. "Ven, Sparky will have to give off more juice then he's giving right now!"
"Got it! Sparky, turn it up!" Ventus said. Sparky did exactly that. He increased his electric power greatly. The meter started to spike up. "Keep it up, Sparky!" Sparky did exactly that, but the machine started to malfunction.
"HIT THE DIRT!" Sora shouted as he, Kairi, Minato, and the rest ducked their heads. Clemont was caught in the blast. The explosion caught Lena's attention as she's searching for her sister.
The smoke cleared as everyone was getting back up.
"Yup, I knew it," Sora said.
"That went boom, too," Bonnie said.
"Pichu," Pichu said.
"And what a boom," Ventus said.
"And to think, it was working perfectly," Clemont said.
"I guess we're back to searching on foot again," Agumon said.
"Sure looks like it," Veemon said.
A few seconds later, Lena came running in, and she saw Pichu with the group.
"Pichu!" Lena called out. Pichu jumped out of the bag, and ran towards her. "Thank goodness!" She hugged the tiny mouse Pokémon. "Wait, where did Lyn go?"
"Pichu," Pichu said, not knowing.
"Are you by chance that Pichu's trainer?" Karen asked.
"Yes, I am," Lena said. She recognized the group. "I know you! You were at the Pokémon Center earlier today! My name's Lena! Are you the one who found Pichu?"
"Um, I don't think found is the word I would use," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Dedenne? Where's Dedenne?" Bonnie asked.
"Dedenne?" Lena asked.
"How about we explain about this whole day, shall we?" Ventus suggested.
The group explained to Lena about how they accidentally ended up with her Pichu after realizing they had the wrong bag. So, they filled her in about them trying to find the little girl.
"So, that's it. Your Dedenne is probably with Lyn, my little sister," Lena said.
"So, where is she right now?" Junpei asked.
"Honestly, I don't know. She must have realized she had the wrong bag, and I would she went looking for Pichu right now," Lena said.
"We had the same thought," Aigis said.
"Anywhere you haven't tried yet?" Junpei asked.
"I tried everywhere I could think of. For all I know, she probably already left town," Lena said.
"I hope not," Kairi said.
"We should split up and look around for her," Clemont said.
"Good idea. We'll check for anywhere that's pretty wide," Sora said. Everyone all agreed as they started to split up.
Over to Lyn, she continued to chase after Dedenne.
"Where are you going? Slow down, please!" Lyn called out to Dedenne. She stopped for a brief moment. "I think the Pokémon Center is down that way." She followed Dedenne through a field of grape vines. She searched for Dedenne, and she saw him running. "There you are!" She saw Dedenne was carrying a batch of grapes with an angry Beedrill chasing after him. She gasped as Dedenne jumped off her head. Beedrill attacked using its stinger, tearing off the ribbon she had given him earlier. Dedenne fought back with a Thunder Shock. The poison bee Pokémon was struck hard, making it retreat. "Awesome! You're really, really strong!"
"Ne, ne, ne!" Dedenne said.
Lyn smiled, but it was short-lived as more more Beedrill showed up. Knowing one little Pokémon was no match for a giant group of Pokémon all at once on its own, Lyn grabbed Dedenne and started to run off. The Beedrill gave chase.
"They're chasing after us! What are we gonna do?" Lyn asked as she tripped. One of the Beedrill moved right in, but ends up being struck by a stream of electricity.
"Lyn!" Lena called out as she along with Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, the Digimon, and SEES running towards her.
"It's Lena!" Lyn said happily. She ran up to her sister.
"Lyn, are you alright?" Lena asked.
"This Pokémon saved me!" Lyn said. Dedenne jumped off her shoulder as Koromaru barked at the Beedrill.
"And those are?" Fuuka asked.
"Beedrill," Terra said.
"And a whole swarm of them!" Meowth said.
"I can't believe you came all this way by yourself!" Lena said.
"I'm sorry!" Lyn apologized.
"Pichu!" Pichu greeted.
"Hi, Pichu!" Lyn greeted back.
"Okay, Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered.
"Angel! Use Swift!" Kairi ordered.
"Dedenne! Use Thunder Shock!" Clemont ordered.
Pikachu, Angel, and Dedenne all launched their attacks at the swarm of Beedrill. They all start to retreat.
"And that takes care of them," Palmon said.
Lyn then started crying and went up to her older sister.
"Lena, I'm so sorry!" Lyn cried.
"Now, now, it's okay, Lyn. I'm just glad that you're okay," Lena said. Bonnie smiled, and the she started crying, too.
"Dedenne, I'm sorry!" Bonnie cried. Clemont went to comfort his sister.
Just then, Agumon's stomach growled.
"Sorry," Agumon apologized.
"Way to interrupt the moment, Agumon," Sora said.
Everyone laughed as Agumon blushed.
It took a few minutes as Kairi prepared dinner for the whole group with Lena and Lyn joining them.
"Okay, dig in, everyone," Kairi said.
"Looks yummy!" Lyn said.
"Sparky, Pichu, Dedenne, you too," Kairi said.
Sparky, Pichu, and Dedenne were stuffed from the snacks they were fed, so Ventus, Bonnie, and Lyn tried to sneak off.
"Stop. Right. There," Sora said. The three of them stopped. "Ventus, you've been feeding Sparky between meals again, haven't you!"
"Have you been giving out snacks again, Lyn?" Lena asked.
"Bonnie, I told you!" Clemont scolded. The three younger kids turned with their tongues sticking out, feeling sorry.
Dedenne is back with Bonnie as Pichu is back with Lyn. These two young girls have taken one step closer to becoming trainers one day in the future.
