Episode 537: Awakening the Sleeping Giant

A couple of days have passed since the whole switcheroo incident, things pretty much went back to normal for the most part.

Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, the Digimon, and SEES were suddenly attacked by Shadows. Pikachu, Angel, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, SEES and the Digimon fought them off as more kept showing up.

"They keep on showing up!" Sora exclaimed.

"If only there was a way to stop them from showing up!" Meowth said

Just then, a large Shadow emerges. It has what looks like a mask, and many arms. It drew out swords and held each one of them tight.

"That's gotta be the ringleader," Kairi said.

"And that's the one to beat," Minato said. He took out his gun and held it to his head. Sora tried to stop him, but Mitsuru stopped him.

"Why are you stopping me?! I have to help him!" Sora said.

"Watch and see," Mitsuru said.

"Persona," Minato said. He fired, but instead of blood, a light blue light erupts from the side of his head. Light circles around him. A mechanical being appeared behind him. Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, and the Digimon were awestruck by what they were seeing.

"Thou art I... And I am thou... From the sea of thy soul I cometh... I am Orpheus, master of strings..." The mechanical being spoke.

"Whoa," Sora and the rest could only say.

Orpheus engaged the Shadow as it attempts to do him in. Orpheus fired a stream of fire from his mouth, burning the Shadow. It came at the Persona again, but Minato wasn't going to let it win that easily.

"Orpheus!" Minato shouted.

"I got this!" Orpheus said. He gave the Shadow a punch in the face. Minato then drew out a one-handed sword and slashed the Shadow into two. The Shadow then dissolved, making the remaining Shadows retreat. Orpheus then vanished as Minato fell on his knees.

"It's good to have you back, old friend," Minato said in his thoughts.

"How did you do that?" Sora asked.

"I suppose we owe you that much, Sora," Minato said.

SEES explained to them about the Personas, like the one they just witnessed with their own eyes. They were pretty amazed how it could be done.

Not too far, two teenage boys were watching the action. One of them has bowl-shaped silver hair and gray eyes. he is shown wearing a black jacket and gray turtleneck shirt along with black pants.

The other is a tall young man of slim to athletic build. He has a pale complexion with unkempt, wavy black hair that falls over his eyes. His eyes are gray and have long eyelashes. He is wearing set of large black glasses. He is also wearing ared-buttoned black blazer with an emblem on the pocket, a white turtleneck shirt with chevron detailing on the collar and slim red pants with a plaid pattern.

"So, that's Minato Arisato. And that's also Shinjiro Aragaki. I thought they were both dead," the second young man said.

"They were, Ren. Personas must have played a role in it, but not that one," the first young man said.

"What do we do now? Those Shadows will likely show up again," Ren said.

"Not now, not after that one made quite a comeback. We'll just meet up with the others first," Yu said.

The two teenagers took their leave of the aftermath of the fight.

A couple of hours passed since their encounters with the Shadows. Froakie came right out of his Pokéball.

"Froakie, what's wrong?" Sora asked. Froakie took a handful of his frubbles and threw it in a a tree. The spot is revealed to be covered with paper. "What was that?" Froakie sensed movement, and hurled another bit of frubbles at the shrubs, forcing something to come out of hiding. They saw it was a Frogadier.

"What the?" Junpei asked.

"A Frogadier," Kairi said.

"Your Froakie managed to find us with ease. Impressive," a boy's voice said.

"Who are you? Come out and show yourself!" Sora called out.

"I shall oblige you," the boy's voice said. The voice belonged to a young ninja with brown hair with a ponytail. He has olive brown eyes. "I was watching you earlier."

"You were watching us?" Kairi asked.

"Yes. I was watching the fight with those spirits. I have never seen anything like those before. And so, my Frogadier and I were following you," the ninja said.

"Who are you?" Minato asked.

"I am Sanpei. I come from the Ninja Village. And who are you?" Sanpei asked.

"Sora," Sora answered. "And why were you following us?"

"I wish to battle against you, Sora," Sanpei answered. My Frogadier against your Froakie."

"You were following us just to have a battle with him?" Ken asked.

"Yes," Sanpei said. "Do you accept?"

"I accept," Sora said. He looked right at his Froakie. "How about it, Froakie? You ready to battle what you're gonna become next?"

"Fro," Froakie nodded.

Both frog Pokémon got ready for battle. Froakie looked right at Sora who nods to him. Froakie nods right back, so he sets his attention to Frogadier.

"Ready when you are, Sanpei," Sora said.

"I shall begin! Frogadier! Use Water Pulse!" Sanpei ordered. Frogadier unleashed Water Pulse right at Froakie.

"Use your own Water Pulse!" Sora ordered. Froakie unleashed his own Water Pulse, resulting in an explosion between the two frog Pokémon. "Use Pound!" Froakie came hopping towards Frogadier with Pound.

"Dodge and use Cut!" Sanpei ordered. Frogadier dodged and gave Froakie a Cut. "Use Smokescreen!" Frogadier releases a thick black smoke from its mouth. Smoke covered the whole area.

"Froakie, try to sense where Frogadier is, and strike once you have it in your sights!" Sora called out. Froakie shuts his eyes and then he listened to Frogadier's movements. Frogadier made no sound moving around. Froakie had to rely on his other senses to find his evolved form. Froakie prepared a handful of his frubbles. He hurled the frubbles, but they struck a log.

"Move in now!" Sanpei exclaimed. Frogadier jumped out of the smoke and came too fast for Froakie.

"Froakie! Use Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Froakie ran across the ground.

"That will not work! Use Quick Attack as well!" Sanpei ordered. Frogadier used Quick Attack to dodge Froakie. They matched each other speed for speed. Not one of them was going to call it quits. Both frog Pokémon were getting exhausted. Frogadier could only smile out of respect for Froakie. "You are quite impressive, Sora. You have raised for Froakie well."

"Right back at you, Sanpei," Sora said.

"The battle is not won yet," Sanpei said.

"You're right," Sora agreed. "Let's make this count with one last hit."

"One more hit to decide the match," Sanpei said.

"Go!" Sora and Sanpei called out. Both Froakie and Frogadier came right at each other. Both lands a hit onto each other. Both bubble frog Pokémon stood their ground. Frogadier fell on the ground, beaten.

"Frogadier, you alright?" Sanpei asked.

"Frog," Frogadier said.

"You battled well, my friend," Sanpei said. He looked right at Sora and his Froakie. "I must say, you and your Froakie are truly one."

"Thanks, Sanpei," Sora said. "Your Frogadier is pretty tough. The way you battled is proof of that."

"Thank you, Sora. I'm glad that I have earned your respect. And I can see you would make an excellent ninja," Sanpei said.

Both trainers shook hands and continued on with their journey.

As the group continued on, they made a stop in a town known as Camphrier Town.

"And here we are. Camphrier Town," Clemont said. "They call it the town where you can taste the ages."

"Just the sound of that is making me hungry," Armadillomon said. Bonnie was confused.

"What does 'taste the ages' mean?" Bonnie asked.

"It means the town has a wealth of history with a lot of old buildings still standing," Clemont explained.

"And I can see that. You can't find anything like these back in our world," Yukari said.

"Just what's left of them," Metis said.

Just then, a loud noise is heard. Everyone ends up covering their ears to keep out the noise. Koromaru just howled.

"AAH! WHAT A TERRIBLE NOISE!" Karen exclaimed.

"WHAT IS THAT?!" Ken shouted.

"MY EARS!" Gatomon shouted.

The noise finally ceased much to everyone's relief and confusion.

"Man, what a relief," Sora said.

"What was that just now?" Kairi asked.

"Someone knows something," Shinjiro said. The group noticed a woman sweeping on the ground. She was not disturbed about the loud snore.

"Let's ask her," Aigis suggested.

"Right," Sora said. He walked up to her. "Excuse me, ma'am."

"Huh?" The woman asked. She realized she couldn't hear him. "I'm sorry! Gimmie one second!" She pulls out her earplugs.

"Earplugs?" Meowth asked.

"May I help you?" The woman asked.

"My friends and I were wondering what that loud noise was just now," Sora said.

"Oh, that noise. Follow me," the woman said. The group followed her. "Look over there." The group saw it was a Snorlax asleep in the middle of the town.

"A Snorlax!" Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Meowth, and the Digimon all said at once.

"Never seen one before!" Bonnie said.

"Is that what it was?" Minato asked.

"Yes, I was certain the sound you just heard was just Snorlax's snoring," the woman said.

"Even Sora doesn't snore that loud," Gabumon whispered to Koromaru.

"Why is that Pokémon sleeping in the middle of town?" Fuuka asked.

"Snorlax and this town always had a symbiotic relationship," the woman said.

"What do you mean?" Tentomon asked.

"You see, every year around this time, Snorlax comes down to eat our leftover crop roots after we finished our harvest," the woman explained.

"Isn't that a bad thing?" Karen asked.

"Not at all. In fact, when a Snorlax digs up the roots, it plows the fields. And that gives us a good harvest until next year," the woman said.

"Wow," Ventus said.

"Then, when Snorlax is finished eating, we have a harvest festival as our way to show it gratitude for its help. At the close of the festival, the Lord of Shabboneau Castle plays the Poké Flute while Snorlax finishes up the town's offerings. Then Snorlax dances all the way back to its mountaintop home," the woman concluded.

"What a story," Ken said.

"The festival didn't happen yet," Sora said.

"Lucky for us, we came just in time," Terra said.

"You see-" the woman said before she was cut off.

"Wake up!" A little boy said. "Come on, wake up!"

"Come on, Snorlax, please wake up!" A little girl said.

"The town is ready for the festival to begin, but with the way things are, there's no way to. We have a big problem that's keeping Snorlax from waking up," the woman said.

"What's the problem?" Kairi asked.

"Vee?" Angel asked.

"The Lord of Shabboneau Castle is the one who wakes Snorlax up, but he refuses to come to this year's festival," the woman said. Snorlax snores loudly again. All the people and Pokémon covers their ears again, blocking out the sound of Snorlax's Snore. Koromaru howled once again.

"MY EARS! MY EARS!" Junpei shouted.

"IT FEELS LIKE THEY'RE GOING TO BURN OFF!" Meowth shouted.

"It looks like it's my time to step in once again! The future is now thanks to science!" Clemont announced.

"WHAT?!" Everyone asked.

"I have the perfect device that will do the trick!" Clemont announced taking out an alarm clock robot. "Clemontic Gear on! I invented it to help Bonnie get out of bed because she takes forever! And it's The-Bonnie-out-of-bed-omantic!" Held it up proudly.

"What?!" Bonnie shouted.

"Is that clock gonna wake up Snorlax?!" Ventus shouted.

"Indeed! I'm cranking up the volume as far it will go! Make sure your ears are all covered!" Clemont instructed as everyone all covered their ears. The turned the wind-up key all the way up. Even Koromaru had his ears covered. "And go!" He activates it.

RING, RING, RING, RING, RING, RING, RING, RING, RING, RING!

"STOP! STOP IT BOTH OF YOU!" Bonnie shouted. The alarm clock starts to malfunction.

"Something's clearly wrong!" Clemont said. The alarm clock then explodes. Everyone is now covered in smoot.

"Well, I saw this coming a mile away," Sora said.

"You and me both, Sora," Minato said.

"I'm sure that the explosion was powerful enough to wake Snorlax up," Clemont said.

"Don't be so certain," Akihiko said. Everyone all saw Snorlax was still asleep.

"You gotta be kidding! That didn't do it?!" Shinjiro exclaimed.

"That would have been too easy," Agumon said.

"Just wake up already!" Bonnie said, puffing her cheeks.

"What do you think it's going to happen if Snorlax doesn't wake up?" One man asked. The group turned to a couple of people, hearing about the sleeping Pokémon.

"Nobody will get any sleep, and we'll all be a wreck," another woman said.

"Maybe if Nurse Joy took Snorlax in the Pokémon Center," the man said.

"Perhaps, or we could just take it to Officer Jenny," the second woman said.

"As much as I feel bad for everyone here, I can't help but feel bad for Snorlax, too. We gotta get Snorlax to wake up before it gets worse," Ventus said.

"You're right, Ven. But, how is it that nobody's gone to complain to Lord Shabboneau about it?" Sora asked.

"The townspeople has tried it before, but none of them were successful. He has been coming up with some sort of excuse for why he can't," the first woman explained.

"What do you think, Sora?" Minato asked.

"I think there's something fishy going on. And I think Lord Shabboneau knows what it is exactly," Sora said.

"I hope you get the answer; don't be surprised if he makes another excuse," the first woman said.

The group approached the Shabboneau Castle.

"Hello! Is anybody home?!" Sora called out.

"Pika!" Pikachu added.

The drawbridge opens as a butler steps out with a smile on his face.

"Hello, how may I help you young people on this fine afternoon?" the butler asked.

"We would like to speak with Lord Shabboneau on behalf of the townspeople of Camphrier Town," Sora said.

"Well, you certainly traveled a long way to get here. Please come in," the butler said. The group entered the large castle. Trumpets are being played as a short man wearing a red robe and a crown. He has dark blonde hair and mustache. "Allow me to introduce you to the master of the castle, Lord Shabboneau!"

"Shabboneau! Bon-bon! Please tell me what brings you to my castle home?" Lord Shabboneau asked.

"We simply came to ask you why you won't play your Poké Flute for the festival this year," Sora said. Lord Shabboneau got quickly nervous and got up from his throne.

"That is not up for discussion!" Lord Shabboneau said, marching off.

"Why not?" Sora asked.

"Pika!" Pikachu said.

"Snorlax is asleep in the middle of the town, and you're the only one who can play the Poké Flute and use it to wake up Snorlax," Kairi said.

"Eevee!" Angel said.

"Pretty please!" Bonnie pleaded.

"I would if I could, but no can do! So, I'm allergic to the flute now, so when I play, I break out in hives!" Lord Shabboneau said.

"I know if Applejack was here, she could tell me he's lying. Also, I'm not buying the whole allergy to the flute bit," Sora said in his thoughts.

"You're kidding, right?" Ventus asked as the butler stepped up.

"Lord Shabboneau, I understand that you are only trying to protect your family name, but perhaps, you will regret lying to the children later, so I'm sure they'll understand if you just tell the truth," the butler said.

"You're right. The Poké Flute was in my castle at one time, but not now," Lord Shabboneau said.

"Was the flute stolen by someone?" Aqua asked.

"The Poké Flute is in the care of Princess Allie who lives in Parfum Palace in the next town over. She paid a visit, and she just took it and exclaimed 'Oh-ho-ho-ho! This Poké Flute is so pretty!' and took it home with her!" Lord Shabboneau explained.

"You just let her take it?" Karen asked.

"Once Princess Allie makes up her mind, it's impossible to change it," the butler said.

"And because her father has been kind to me, I couldn't put my foot down," Lord Shabboneau cried.

"I can't believe this," Sora said. "How about We all go to Parfum Palace and convince the princess to get the Poké Flute back from her, so you would be able to play at the festival."

"Oh, that's a splendid idea!" Lord Shabboneau exclaimed happily. "I will leave it to you wonderful young people!"

With that said, the group set off to retrieve the Poké Flute from Princess Allie. They made it all the way to Parfum Palace.

"So, just how are we gonna get in there?" Shinjiro asked.

"It's not like we can just knock on the gate," Palmon said.

Yukari noticed Bonnie going through the hedge.

"Bonnie, what are you doing?" Yukari asked.

"I found a way in!" Bonnie said.

Everyone got inside and they were amazed by the size of the backyard.

"Whoa, this place is huge," Janpei said.

"I wouldn't want to mow the lawn," Ventus said.

Suddenly, a Furfrou came barking at the group. Koromaru barked back at the poodle Pokémon. This Furfrou has a violet trim.

"What kind of Pokémon is that?" Mitsuru asked.

"It's a Furfrou," Karen said.

"Furfrou, stop it at once!" A girl's voice ordered. The Furfrou ran back to a girl with red hair, wearing a purple dress, and wore a tiara. She is carrying a purple fan. Several maids spreads several flower petals. They had to assume that would be Princess Allie. "You shouldn't be playing with such commoner trash. You'll get a tummyache."

"Trash?" Aqua asked, getting angered by her insult.

"Pi?" Eclair shared Aqua's anger.

"Oh, I'll give that Pokémon something worse than a tummyache," Gatomon said.

"Down, kitty," Ken said.

"Princess Allie, I presume?" Sora asked.

"You are right. I am Princess Allie. The princess of Parfum Palace," Princess Allie said.

"You're a real princess?" Bonnie asked with stars in her eyes.

"Bonnie, focus," Biyomon said.

"We came to ask you to return the Poké Flute to Lord Shabboneau. So, please, may we have it," Sora said.

"Not going to happen," Princess Allie refused.

"So lovely!" The maids all said.

"Huh?! Why not?" Sora asked.

"What's mine is mine, what's been given to me is also mine, so the Poké Flute is mine!" Princess Allie said as she, Furfrou, and the maids all laughed.

"Is she for real?" Ventus asked.

"She's selfish and awful, too!" Bonnie said.

"This brat is starting to piss me off," Shinjiro said, gritting his teeth.

"You shouldn't let your anger get the best of you, Shinjiro. Besides, she's only a child," Mitsuru said.

"The town won't be able to have the Harvest Festival without the Poké Flute," Clemont said.

"And Snorlax is snoring so loud, none of the townspeople can get any sleep," Kairi said.

"If so, then they should go to their seaside villas and take a nappy-poo," Princess Allie laughed.

"She doesn't care one way or the other," Ken said. Koromaru huffed in agreement.

"She doesn't care that the town's gonna end up hating Snorlax. Cannot let that happen," Sora said.

"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.

The bratty princess eyes Pikachu with interest.

"Oh?" Princess Allie asked, getting close to Sora and Pikachu.

"Hey, personal space!" Sora said, backing away from her.

"Could that Pikachu belong to you?" Princess Allie asked.

"Yeah. He's my partner," Sora said. "And my first Pokémon."

"Every Pikachu has different sized cheeks than other Pikachu. Yours has perfect sized cheeks. The roundness and redness are just right. Splendid!" Princess Allie said.

"Pika," Pikachu said nervously. She placed her hands on his cheeks hard.

"Such a splendid and rare Pikachu is unworthy for a trainer like you, so I'll graciously accept it and treasure it like an heirloom," Princess Allie said, taking Pikachu off his shoulder.

She was about to find out that Sora isn't like Lord Shabboneau, and he won't be intimidated of her like he is.

"No way!" Sora exclaimed, taking Pikachu back. "Pikachu is no one's property, and he is not gonna be yours!" Princess Allie puffed her cheeks, refusing to give up. She snapped her fingers.

"Bring them out," Princess Allie ordered.

"Ma'am," the maid said. She brought in a pile of treasure. Sora could clearly see that she is trying to bribe him. No amount of treasure in the world was ever going to be enough to make him change his mind.

"How would you like all of these treasures for Pikachu?" Princess Allie asked.

"Do I look stupid enough to accept that? You can try all you want, but there is no way, and no how will I ever agree to give you my Pikachu!" Sora said, putting his foot down. Princess Allie was still refusing to call it quits. She then gets an idea.

"If I recall, you want the Poké Flute, yes?" Princess Allie asked.

"Yeah," Sora said. He could tell something was off. "Wait a minute! What's the catch?"

"Let's have a battle. Furfrou versus Pikachu. I suggest we bet the Poké Flute and Pikachu!" Princess Allie said.

"No way!" Clemont said.

"Sora, you know better than to bet your own Pokémon in a battle," Terra said.

"Okay, fine. I accept!" Sora stated. Everyone all looked at him.

"Sora, what are you thinking?" Aqua asked.

"It's the only chance we got to get that flute. Also, I'm not gonna lose to her," Sora said. "Okay, if I win, I keep Pikachu, and I get the flute."

"No, it should be that I get Pikachu if I lose, and you get the flute," Princess Allie said.

"That's how it goes. But if you don't want Pikachu, I understand. I mean, he's way too good to be yours anyway," Sora said. Pikachu knew he was trying to get a rise out of her.

"Too good for me?!" Princess Allie exclaimed. "Explain how?!"

"Like you said, he's a special kind of Pikachu, so he would be way too good to be yours anyway," Sora said. He winked at the group. SEES were confused, but the rest of the group knew what he was trying to do. "Pikachu's fur is so bright, it makes the sun look dim." That made the princess want Pikachu even more.

"Pikachu's fur?" Princess Allie asked, getting anxious. She began to whine, so she caved in. "Okay, fine! I'll give you the flute and let you keep Pikachu if I lose!"

"Okay, we have a deal," Sora said.

"What did he just do?" Minato asked.

"He just tricked that prissy princess into letting him keep Pikachu, and get the flute," Ventus whispered.

Both trainers took the battlefield, ready to go. Pikachu and Furfrou got ready to go. Clemont has volunteered to be the referee for the match. Just then, both of Allie's parents step outside. Allie's mother the queen has a stern, no-nonsense expression on her face while her father was not as serious, but has an undying love for his daughter. The queen has the same red hair as the princess and her father has brown hair.

"This will be a one-on-one match! Both participants have agreed to use one Pokémon each, and the battle will be over when either one is unable to continue battling! Is that understood?!" Clemont announced.

"Yes!" Sora said.

"Fine with me," Princess Allie said.

"Then, begin!" Clemont called out.

"Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Pikachu dashed right at the poodle Pokémon with his speed attack.

"This will be easy! Furfrou! Go!" Princess Allie called out. Furfrou ran towards Pikachu, and overpowered his Quick Attack. She grinned as Pikachu layed faced down..

"Behind you!" Sora called out. Pikachu turned and saw Furfrou come right at him.

"Dodge it!" Sora called out. Pikachu dodged Furfrou's attack. "Use Iron Tail!" Pikachu swings his tail right at the poodle Pokémon.

"Use Bite!" Princess Allie ordered. Furfrou bites on Pikachu's tail and threw him down. Pikachu lands right on the ground, but not beaten.

"Pikachu!" Sora called out.

"Use Charge Beam!" Princess Allie ordered. Furfrou fired Charge Beam right at Pikachu.

"Use Electro Web!" Sora ordered. Pikachu unleashed Electro Web, blocking Furfrou's Charge Beam. "Thunderbolt!" Pikachu unleashed Thunderbolt right at the poodle Pokémon, making its hairdo go all puffy, much to the spoiled princess's dismay.

"Oh, my poor Furfrou!" Princess Allie gasped. "Your beautiful fur is messy and ruined!" She rings her bell. "Take my Furfrou to the cleaners at once!"

"Ma'am!" Two of the maids said.

"Does that mean you forfeit?" Clemont asked.

"Hmph!" Princess Allie huffed.

"Then, Sora is the winner!" Clemont announced.

"Way to put her in her place!" Shinjiro called out.

"Now, that the battle's over, then you have to honor your deal. I keep Pikachu, and you give back the Poké Flute," Sora said.

"No! You give me Pikachu," Princess Allie said.

"We had a deal!" Sora exclaimed.

"He's right! You agreed to the terms!" Kairi said.

"Vee!" Angel agreed.

"You get the flute, but I get to keep Pikachu for myself! So there!" Princess Allie said.

"The deal was I keep Pikachu, and I get the flute back!" Sora said. "You can't just go back on your word!"

"I can do as I please, and there's nothing you peasants can do about it," Princess Allie said, laughing along with her maids.

"That will be quite enough!" A stern voice spoke. Princess Allie froze as she saw her mother giving her a stern glare.

"Now, now, dear, you mustn't be so hard on her," the king said. The queen turned with a scowl, making her husband flinch. She sets her attention back to her daughter.

"So, this is what you've been up to? Taking the Poké Flute when it is not yours! Bribery, and now you're dishonoring your agreement as a princess? That is not how a princess should behave!" The queen said.

"But mama," Princess Allie pleaded.

"Your charms may work on your father, but they do not work on me! You gave your word as a princess to return the Poké Flute, and as a princess you should honor your word," the queen said. "Return the Poké Flute to them this minute!" Princess Allie knew better than to argue with her mother, and returned the Poké Flute to the group. "Now, go to your bed chambers! I shall inform you of your punishment shortly!"

"Yes, mama," Princess Allie sadly said. She started to walk inside, to await for her punishment.

"Dear, you could have eased up on her," the king said.

"If I ease up on her, she will never learn! She has to learn she cannot have what she wants! The other nobles wouldn't be questioning our daughter's upbringing if you would set a better example for her!" The queen said.

"Yes, dear," the king said.

"Children, I do apologize for my daughter's behavior. My husband has a terrible habit of spoiling her," the queen said.

"So we noticed," Sora said.

"The Harvest Festival is my favorite time of year, and I didn't want anything to happen to ruin it for me. When you return to Camphrier Town, would you tell Lord Shabboneau that he shouldn't be afraid to stand up to her? I would understand there will be a reason for it," the queen said.

"We'll tell him, your majesty. And thanks," Sora said.

With that said, the group returned to Camphrier Town and presented the Poké Flute to Lord Shabboneau.

"You've returned with it, like you said you would!" Lord Megatron exclaimed with joy.

"It wasn't easy, but luckily her mom was on our side," Sora said.

"And she said you shouldn't be afraid to stand up to her," Kairi added.

"Of course," Lord Shabboneau said, realizing he could have gone to her in the first place. "All the same, the Poké Flute is back, and I can play it again!" He began to play it, waking up Snorlax. The sleeping Pokémon rose up and started to eat the berries presented to it. The festival went on as planned.

The king and queen arrived to the festival. Their daughter wasn't attending because she forbade her to attend because of her manners.

All's well, that ends well. The festival went on as scheduled, and Snorlax isn't hated by the people, and the journey continues!
