Episode 542: Baron Sora
A little while after Sora has earned the title of Baron, the group got settled in the Chateau. Thor was being treated for his injuries from his battle with Pikachu.
"Feel much better, Thor?" Terra asked.
"Pikachu," Thor answered.
Viola approached the group.
"That was a good battle, you two," Viola said.
"Huh? Viola? When did you get here?" Sora asked.
"Just a little while ago. And congrats on the title of Baron, Sora," Viola said.
"What noble ranking are you?" Agumon asked.
"I happen to be a Duchess," Viola said.
"Duchess?" Gabumon asked.
"What's that?" Veemon asked.
"That'll be the female equivalent of Duke," Viola said.
"And that's the second rating you can get here," Clemont said.
"You got that right," Viola said, nodding. She noticed the group with the group. "And who are they?"
"You haven't met," Karen said. "They've been traveling with us for a little while now. Meet Minato Arisato, Aigis, Mitsuru Kirijo, Akihiko Sanadas, Shinjiro Aragaki, Junpei Iori, Yukari Takeba, Fuuka Yamagishi, Ken Amada, Metis, and Koromaru. Members of SEES, meet Viola. She's the Gym Leader of the Santalune City Gym."
"You mean you're that Gym Leader Sora and the rest told us about?" Fuuka asked.
"I am," Viola said. "Sora proved to be one of the most challenging trainers I have ever faced."
"We know that very much," Fuuka said.
"What Type of Pokémon do you use?" Aigis asked.
"I specialize with Bug Type Pokémon," Viola said.
"Each Gym in the Kalos region specializes with a specific Pokémon Type," Clemont said.
"So, you specialize with Electric Type Pokémon, right?" Ken asked.
"That's right, Ken," Clemont answered.
Grant approached the group.
"Sora, isn't it? I was watching your battle, and I was impressed by you. The same with you, Terra," Grant said.
"Thanks," Terra said.
"Glad we got to impress you, Grant," Sora said.
"You know my name?" Grant asked, surprised.
"That would be because of me, Grant," Noctis admitted. "Sora is also taking the Gym challenges here in the Kalos region, same as me."
"I see," Grant said. "Then, I would be looking forward to your challenge in the Cyllage City Gym." Everyone, except for Noct and Luna looked at him, dumbfounded.
"You're the Cyllage City Gym Leader?" Sora asked.
"Yes, I am," Grant admitted.
"And since you're a Gym Leader, then what Type of Pokémon do you train?" Minato asked.
"Grant uses Rock Type Pokémon," Viola said.
"At least the Rock Type Gyms aren't number one here," Sora said.
"What do you mean, Sora?" Grant asked.
"Sora meant that the first Gyms in certain regions were usually first," Kairi explained. "There's the Pewter City Gym in Kanto, the Rustboro City Gym in Hoenn, and the Oreburgh City Gym in Sinnoh."
"I understand," Grant said. "Sounds to me that you have your share of experiences, Sora."
"He does, Grant," Noct said. He turned to Sora. "Sora, I don't want to seem selfish, but I would like to request that you have your battle after I have mine."
"That's okay, Noct. I can wait," Sora said. "Besides, I wanna see how hard you trained after our battle." Noct smiled.
"Thank you for understanding, Sora," Noct said, smiling. A pair of gloves lands on Sora's shoulder. "It would seem that you have been challenged, Sora." He turned to see a young man with blonde hair.
"I was watching your battle earlier, and I was mighty impressed by your skills," the young man said.
"Thank you," Sora said, standing up. "And your name would be?"
"Forgive me. My name is Ferrel. I am a Baron, same as you," Ferrel said.
"Right. The rule here is that I have to battle you, because you have the same Noble ranking as me," Sora said.
"Yes, indeed," Ferrel said.
"How many battles do you have to win to make it to Viscount?" Sora asked.
"I only require ten battles to climb up to the rank of Viscount; one more win to be exact," Ferrel said.
"It'll be my first battle as a Baron, so I might as well earn my stripes while I'm here," Sora said.
Meanwhile in Team Shadow HQ, a large blue oriental dragon came walking in through a dimensional rift. He has a white beard and two horns on his head, yellow spins, and a yellow underbelly.
Another is a slightly overweight man. He has a pointy shaped head, as well as a slight beard, thick eyebrows, and he always wears a purple fez. He wore a yellow Hawaiian shirt, dark blue shorts, and normal sandals.
Another is a creature who has green skin, a green/red mohawk, a giant chin, red irises, an iron glove on one of his hands, steel armor for a shirt, purple tights, a red cape, and bear shoes.
Another is a giant humanoid raven. His appearance symbolizes that of an emperor dressed for battle by sporting gold highlighted armor and a tunic, combined with purple robes to look similar to a wizard with matching silver (with gold highlighted) armbands and a silver collar. The lower half of his robe is red. But instead of wings on his back, he has feathers on his back. The crown on his head is in the shape of a crescent moon. His staff sports the same symbol with wings.
Another is a caveman with large dark brown hair, a hooked nose, and a green caveman garb.
Three more are humanoid pigs, dressed in what look like pirates, bikers, and soldiers. Among these pigs is a Caucasian anthropomorphic male pig, most likely taller than the rest of the pigs. He wore a green cap with a small gold crown on top and "heterochromatic" sunglasses(One glass blue, the other red). His outfit consists of an army green button-up dress shirt with a yellow bow tie and baggy white-and-red pinstriped pants. His gloves are white and his boots are tan.
Another is a tall, dark red, muscular, anthromorphic lizard with a white beard, and has tattoos on his arms.
Another is a strange, caped humanoid creature with a spiked metallic crown covering most of his head. He has six metallic floating hands, each one with an eye.
Another is a mutated, talking, human-sized carrion scavenger with a pot belly. He has four fingers, opposable thumbs, and large, three-toed feet. His wings were turned into arms, and his stubby beak houses numerous jagged teeth. He has 3 tail feathers that are individually covered by the suit yellow jumpsuit he wears. He wore a utility belt, topped by the clear glass bubble of a space suit helmet. He wore an advanced jet-pack, that can enable even travel between planets in outer space. And he has a grappling gun on his side.
Another is a being with gray skin, blueish black hair, and his eyes are gradient from red to yellow on sclera, orange iris, slit black pupils.
Another is a young woman with jet black hair, a voluptuous body clad in a dominatrix-style skimpy and tight black bathing suit with high boots.She wore a red cape.
Another is anthromorphic cassowary, with orange eyes, and wore a scarf on his shoulders.
Another is a demon with a purple furry face, red eyes, and an additional face on his torso. He wore a red robe, and has demonic wings.
Another appears to be a green anthromorphic turtle of average height with a purple-colored shell. He sports oversized glasses which gives him a "nerdy" look.
And the last one is a man with a dark green mucus-like head, a long nose, and wore a pinkish-purple suit with the letter M on the chest. He wore yellow gloves that didn't completely fit, and wore yellow shoes, and wore a yellow cape.
Ganondorf came to greet them personally.
"Welcome," Ganondorf greeted. "Dragon Master, Kosmo, Baron Dante, Dark Raven, Gork, Benito, Looger, Wizeman, Psy-Crow, Dark Yabu, Dark Queen, Boss Cass, Astaroth, Devan Shell, Booger Meister. I am Ganondorf."
"Ganondorf? Never heard of you," Dragon Master said.
"Nor would you have. I invited you all here for a goal to conquer the realms," Ganondorf said.
"Conquer the realms?" Dark Raven asked.
"Indeed," Ganondorf answered. "Each of you tried to conquer, and failed, but by working together, we can accomplish so much."
"Why should we do anything you say?" Gork asked.
"You wouldn't trying to pull a fast one, are you?" Kosmo asked.
"I can understand your reluctance, but I assure you, your enemies have joined forces with many others. Others who would interfere with our objectives; the objectives you have," Ganondorf said.
"You're kidding right?" Dark Queen asked.
Ganondorf snapped his fingers to show the pictures of their hated enemies with SMASH.
"You are invited here to join a glorious cause. In this world, we have local allies, as well as from different realms. As individuals, we are weak, but united, we are strong. If you feel you are not welcome here, then you will be free to go," Ganondorf said. "The choice is yours."
All of the villains stood in place.
"I don't see anyone else looking for the exit," Psy-Crow said. "Looks like I'm in!"
"You've all made a wise decision. Welcome to the Brotherhood of Darkness!" Ganondorf said.
Back at the Battle Chateau, Sora put on his white cape, same as Ferrel. Sora decided to use Helioptile for the battle since he didn't use him in battle yet.
"The battle between Baron Ferrel and Baron Sora is about to commence! If Baron Ferrel wins this battle, then he shall climb up to the rank of Viscount, but if Baron Sora is victorious, then he would have earned his first battle as Baron, and will require nine more victories to earn the title of Viscount," the maid announced.
Both trainers tapped their Pokéballs together.
"To a good battle," Ferrel said.
"To a good battle," Sora said. Both trainers took their positions as Sora threw his Pokéball. "Go! Helioptile!" Helioptile came right out, ready for some action.
"Go! Dusknoir!" Ferrel called out. A Dusknoir emerged from inside the Pokéball.
"This works out for Sora! Ghost Type moves won't effect Helioptile since he's a Normal Type," Gomamon said.
"That's also bad, because Normal Type moves won't affect Ghost Type Pokémon," Hawkmon said.
"Dusknoir! Thunder Punch!" Ferrel ordered. Dusknoir came at Helioptile with Thunder Punch.
"Dodge and use Thunder Shock!" Sora ordered. Helioptile dodged Dusknoir's attack due to Dusknoir's slow speed. Helioptile unleashed Thunder Shock, landing a hit. "Keep it up!"
"Dusknoir! Use Feint Attack!" Ferrel ordered. Dusknoir vanished in thin air, and then lands a hit, a few seconds later. "Thunder Punch!" Dusknoir lands an electrified punch onto Helioptile. "Feint Attack!" Dusknoir disappears and then reappears to land a hit. Helioptile lands on his back, and then gets back up. Helioptile spreads his frills and fires a blast of electricty into the air. A sphere of electricity is formed in the middle, which shoots out multiple blasts of electricity to Dusknoir, landing a heavy hit. Helioptile then absorbs some of the damage he had dealt, healing him.
"Helioptile just used Parabolic Charge," Aqua said.
"What does that move do?" Shinjiro asked.
"It does some damage to everything around Helioptile in battle, and then heals injuries equal to the damage Helioptile had dealt," Clemont said.
"He must have just learned to use it," Kairi said.
"Vee," Angel said.
"Impressive, Baron Sora. Your Helioptile is full of potential," Ferrel said.
"Thanks, Baron Ferrel. Your Dusknoir is really good, too," Sora said. "Be ready, Helioptile!"
"Optile!" Helioptile said, bracing himself.
"Thunder Punch!" Ferrel ordered.
"Dodge with Quick Attack!" Sora ordered.
Dusknoir came at Helioptile with Thunder Punch, but once again, he dodged. "Use Parabolic Charge!" Helioptile unleashed another Parabolic Charge, landing a hit onto Dusknoir, and healing some more of his injuries. "Thunder Shock!" Helioptile lands a hit with Thunder Shock, finishing it off.
"Dusknoir is unable to continue. The victory goes to Baron Sora," the maid announced. Sora bent down, and picked up Helioptile.
"Good work, Helioptile. Not bad for your first battle, huh?" Sora asked.
The patrons were clapping along as Ferrel approached Sora, after calling back Dusknoir.
"Well done, Baron Sora. You would fit in here just fine," Ferrel said.
"Thank you, Baron Ferrel," Sora said.
"That was a good battle, Sora," Serena said to her crush, blushing at how good Sora looked in the white cape. She said in her thoughts, "Oh my gosh, he's very handsome in that cape."
Honedge was still watching from above, and it was still eyeing Sora.
Meanwhile aboard the SMASH Tower, Jazz Jackrabbit came in through a dimensional rift and brings in three more rabbits.
One rabbit has messy red fur and wears blue wristbands and boots.Another a female yellow rabbit with long hair and wearing a two-piece purple gymsuit.And the fourth rabbit is female and has blue fur, and is wearing red lipstick. Her hair color is brown, and she also wore apink dress.
"Here we are," Jazz announced.
"Ooh, lookie down there!" The red rabbit said.
"Yeah, I know, Spaz. It's awesome up here," Jazz said. He turned to the female rabbits. "Lori, what do you think?"
"I could get used to this," the yellow rabbit said.
"It's incredible. And you said it was when you were fighting the-" Eva said before Jazz cuts her off.
"The Decepticons. Those guys makes Devon look like a tadpole; but the good news is, we don't have to worry about them anytime soon," Jazz said. Croc comes up behind Jazz. He turned to see him. "Hey, Croc!" The crocodile waved to him.
"Hi," Croc greeted.
"A crocodile? Up here?" Lori asked.
"You can relax, he's not going to eat anyone," Jazz said.
"I don't eat my friends. And besides, I'm a vegetarian," Croc said.
"Guys, meet Croc. Croc, meet my brother Spaz, my sister Lori, and my girl Eva," Jazz introduced.
"Hi again," Croc greeted.
"You sure about him?" Eva asked in a whisper.
"Like I told you, he's cool," Jazz whispered back. "So, anything happen while I was away?"
"All's quiet so far," Croc said.
"Aw, I was itching for some action," Spaz said.
"I know you were, Spaz," Jazz said.
Back in Team Shadow HQ, Valiant was fuming with anger. He is confronting Snattle about it.
"Why the hell didn't you tell me he's in Kalos?! You could have sent me down there instead of those losers!" Valiant exclaimed in rage.
"Because it would be too personal for you, Valiant," Snattle said.
"You think I care about that?! Think again!" Valiant yelled.
"You were not given orders to go, so you don't have a say in the matter!" Snattle said.
"Well, I can do what I want! And I will do whatever I want to erase the Ketchum bloodline!" Valiant said, taking off.
"You've been there long?" Snattle asked. Exdeath approached from behind.
"I still simply do not understand why he's even apart of our organization," Exdeath said.
"Neither can I," Snattle said. "He never learns."
"If I had my way, I would have ended him from the moment he opened his mouth," Exdeath said.
"I hope so," Snattle said. "Still, I would like to get in some of the action."
"How can one child cause some trouble?" Exdeath asked.
"I don't know, but I would like to see this with my own eyes," Snattle said.
Outside, Valiant high jacked a helicopter and set off for the Kalos region. Snattle stepped outside and he chuckled. A few minutes later, Snattle boarded a helicopter and started his trip to the Kalos region as well.
Back in the Battle Chateau, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, the Digimon, and SEES sat with Noct and Luna after the battle. Helioptile was eating his fill of Pokémon food.
"Eat as much as you want, Helioptile," Sora said.
"An excellent battle, Sora," Noct said.
"Thanks," Sora said. "Not bad for Helioptile's first battle under my belt."
"I'll say it wasn't," Viola said, walking up to the group. "Your battling skills are more impressive than I remember." She smiled. "But just to warn you, Grant won't be easy to beat when you face him in the Cyllage City Gym."
"I know, Viola," Sora said. "I expect him to give me everything he's got." A pair of gloves lands on Viola's shoulder. It turns out that Grant was the one who placed them on her shoulder.
"I take it that you're challenging me, Grant?" Viola asked.
"Do you accept?" Grant asked.
"As a Duchess, I accept. You and I have one more battle to reach the rank of Grand Duke," Viola said.
A few minutes later, both Gym Leaders entered the battlefield for the battle to begin. Both Gym Leaders each had one match to win to earn the highest rank, so they couldn't afford to hold back. Both Gym Leaders wore red capes. They walked up to each other and tapped Pokéballs.
"To a good battle," Grant said.
"To a good battle," Viola said.
"The Chateau Pokémon battle between Duke Grant and Duchess Viola is about to begin! Both need only one more victory, so whoever wins this battle will be rewarded the title of Grand Duke or Grand Duchess, the highest Noble title possible!" The maid announced.
"Alright, Surskit, let's go!" Viola called out. Her Surskit emerged from inside.
"And here's Surskit," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Of course, a Water Type Pokémon is a good choice to use against whatever Rock Type Pokémon Grant sends out," Meowth said.
"This should be good," Karen said.
"Go! Tyrunt!" Grant called out. A Tyrunt emerged from inside.
"Hey, another one?" Yukari asked.
"Tyrunt is the pre-evolved form of Tyrantrum. And that one's a Rock Type and a Dragon Type," Terra said.
"Begin!" The maid called out.
"Use Ice Beam!" Viola ordered. Surskit fired Ice Beam on the battlefield, and skates its way to Tyrunt.
"I thought you would try that. Speed may be your specialty, but I'll stop you in your tracks. Tyrunt! Use Rock Tomb!" Grant ordered. Tyrunt jumped and formed large rocks all around it. The rocks then comes falling down like rain.
"That won't stop us!" Viola said. "Dodge them all!" Surskit skates along the icy battlefield, but the rocks kept falling fast. The rocks eventually surrounds Surskit. One of them falls right towards Surskit. "Use Protect!" Surskit forms a protective barrier around itself, and the rock bounced right off.
"That was a good defense!" Grant complimented his opponent.
"Use Signal Beam!" Viola ordered. Surskit fired Signal Beam right at the miniature tyrannosaurus rex Pokémon.
"Use Metoer Beam!" Grant called out. Tyrunt begins charge up energy, and then fires a cosmic beam of energy right at Surskit, dealing some more damage.
"Impressive," Viola said.
"Thank you, Viola," Grant said. "Use Rock Tomb!" Tyrunt unleashed Rock Tomb, and the rocks came raining down again. Surskit was quickly surrounded by the rocks again.
"Surskit's trapped!" Ventus said.
"Use Meteor Beam!" Grant ordered. Tyrunt unleashed another Meteor Beam after building up some energy, and landing some more heavy damage. Surskit was now down for the count.
"Tyrunt is the winning Pokémon!" The maid announced as Viola recalls Surskit.
"Rest, Surskit. You have earned it," Viola said. "Congratulations, Grant. You're a Grand Duke now."
"Thanks, but it was Tyrunt's Meteor Beam that did the trick, so he deserves all the credit," Grant said, petting Tyrunt.
"Tyrunt is powerful; and I thought Tyrantrum was tough," Minato said.
"Same here," Aigis said.
The maid rewards Grant the purple cape to symbolize his Noble title.
A few hours later, Grant was about to take his leave when he approached Sora and his friends.
"Sora, Noct, I'm looking forward in seeing you in Cyllage City," Grant said.
"As am I," Noct said.
"I plan on earning a title of Grand Duke, and challenge you to a battle when I do," Sora said.
"And I'll be ready for it, from the both of you," Grant said. He steps out ahead of them to Cyllage City.
The group are joined by the engaged couple until they reached their destination, but before they took a step further, Honedge appeared before them.
"A living sword?" Ken asked as Koromaru growled.
"It's a Pokémon called a Honedge," Kairi said. "A Steel Type, and a Ghost Type."
"Um, male or female?" Akihiko asked.
"I would say this one's a boy," Kairi said.
"Honedge, Hone, Honedge, Hone, Hone, Hone, Honedge, Hone," Honedge said.
"Is that right?" Meowth asked.
"What's he saying?" Ventus asked.
"Honedge says that he was eyeing Sora ever since we got here, so he wants to see if he's worthy of weilding him," Meowth translated.
"If you're that sure, then I can take your challenge," Sora said.
"Honedge, Honedge, edge," Honedge said.
"He wants his opponent to be Pikachu," Meowth translated.
"Okay, but let's take this outside," Sora said. Outside of the Chateau, Pikachu stands before the sword Pokémon, and Honedge comes out of the hilt, ready to go. Honedge makes the first attack. "He's starting off with Tackle, so dodge with Quick Attack!" Pikachu manages to dodge with his Quick Attack, but Honedge wasn't giving up that easily, so he lands a tackle on the mouse Pokémon. Honedge then swings his bladed body at Pikachu.
"He's using Slash!" Kairi gasped.
"Use Iron Tail!" Sora ordered. Pikachu swings his tail, blocking the attack. Both Pokémon were pushed back. Honedge then comes at Pikachu with another attack. "That's Fury Cutter, so dodge and use Electro Web!" Pikachu forms an electrified web, and struck Honedge in it. "Use Thunderbolt!" Pikachu unleashed Thunderbolt, landing some heavy damage on him. Honedge looked at Sora and nodded, confirming he was worthy. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it. Honedge flowed inside, and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off asking him if he wants to keep Honedge with him. He chose to keep Honedge in exchange for Helioptile. He lets out Honedge with a smile. "I'm not the only one who's worthy here, Honedge. You're worthy of being one of the team. Welcome aboard." Honedge beamed having to be an official member of Sora's team.

Dragon Master is the main antagonist of T'ai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger.
Booger Meister is Boogerman's arch-nemesis.
Psy-Crow is Earthworm Jim's arch-nemesis. It makes more sense for him to show up more than Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-filled, Malformed, Slug-For-A-Butt.
Gork is the main antagonist of Joe and Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics.
Kosmo is the main antagonist in Voodoo Vince.
Baron Dante the main antagonist of Croc and Croc 2: Dante's Revenge
Dark Raven is the main antagonist of Billy Hatcher
Benito is the leader of the Tom Tom Gang (the evil humanoid pigs)
Wizeman the Wicked is the main antagonist of the Nights series.
Looger is the main antagonist of Scaler.
Dark Yabu is the main antagonist of Vexx
Dark Queen is the arch-nemesis of the Battletoads.
Boss Cass is the main antagonist of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger.
Astaroth is a recurring antagonist of Ghosts N Goblins.
Devan Shell is the main antagonist of Jazz Jackrabbit.
