Episode 543: Coming Back Into the Cold!
A day came and went since they visited the Battle Chateau, so Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, the Digimon, and SEES are joined by Noct and Luna.
"You sure it's okay for you to travel with us, Noct?" Ventus asked.
"You don't have to worry about it, Ven. Besides, I did a lot traveling when I was a little older than you," Noct said.
"That makes sense to me," Ventus said.
"Although, some of the nobles objected to us to travel by foot, but his father vouched for him," Luna said.
The group kept on traveling. Shinjiro checked his smartphone and saw Kotone message.
How close are you? - Kotone.
Almost there. - Shinjiro.
Good, I'll see you soon. - Kotone.
The group made a stop to rest their feet. As they rested, Noct has let out his Charizard, Greninja, Conkeldurr, Aegislash, Luxray, and Gliscor. Sora had let out his Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Fletchling, and Honedge as Kairi had let out her Vulpix, Vivillon, Dedenne, and Pumpkaboo. Luna has let out both of her Ninetales.
"Just how far are we to Cyllage City?" Shinjiro asked. Kairi checked her S-Pod.
"We should be there in a couple of days," Kairi said.
"And that's more than enough time to train for our Gym battle," Sora said.
"Agreed. I suggest we get started right now," Noct said.
With that said, both trainers trained for their battle against Grant. They both knew Grant won't be pulling any punches with them. Noctis has decided to use Greninja, Conkeldurr, and Aegislash as Sora decided to use Chespin, Froakie, and Honedge.
Kairi, Karen, Serena, and Luna were watching them training.
Over to the camp, Mitsuru was doing the cooking for change. Fuuka offered to assist, but she declined the offer.
"Everyone is going to enjoy this, I know it," Mitsuru said. She puts in a few more ingredients until it was done. "Dinner!"
Mitsuru poured some purple curry into the bowls. Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Noct, Luna, and Meowth were looking at their meal with confusion and discomfort. The Digimon were eating theirs just fine.
"Wow, this is tasty," Agumon said.
"Delicious," Veemon added.
"At least someone likes it," Sora said.
"Down the hatch," Meowth took a bite and his face turned purple. He swallowed it and he started to feel sick. "Ugh, this is even worst than the stale seafood I used to eat."
Minato and the rest of SEES looked at their friends and nodded. They poured their purple crud. The Munchlax from before has caught up with the group, but didn't know it, but he found the purple curry, and ate it without a problem. Mitsuru saw that their bowls were empy.
"Finished already?" Mitsuru asked.
"Licked the bowl clean," Sora nervously said.
"And I think I'm full," Kairi said.
"Me too," Sora and Serena said.
"Me three," Bonnie said.
"Say, I don't know about you, but I'm suddenly feel sleepy," Sora said, faking a yawn.
"Same," the rest of the human members said as they went into their tents. Sora shared his with Kairi and Karen. Pikachu, Angel, and Blossom were nuzzled together.
"Man, I can't believe how bad that stuff looked. The only thing I have ever eaten that were even close to purple would be the grape jelly in the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches my mom used to make," Sora said.
"Same," his girlfriend and sister both said.
"Luckily, I made these in case of an emergency," Karen said, taking out some sandwiches with the crusts cut off. "Made these back at the Pokémon Center before we left for the Battle Chateau."
"Good thinking, Karen," Kairi praised her.
"Yeah, I wasn't sure I was gonna eat; but my stomach wouldn't forgive me," Sora said. They each took a bite. "Wow, these taste grate."
"What's your secret?" Kairi asked.
"No secret. The jelly is homemade. I mashed the grapes myself, until they came out as the purple deliciousness you are tasting for yourselves," Karen said.
"And they are delicious," Kairi said.
"Sure are. Your adopted dad taught you well," Sora said.
"Well, it helps if you worked with an expert jelly maker; when he was my adoptive grandfather," Karen said.
"When did you learn to make it?" Sora asked. "Never got the chance to ask you before."
"It was when I was just eight. I had a hard time with it before, but I got better as I kept on practicing. And then, one day, I finally mastered it. I exceeded both of my adoptive dad and his dad. They were both so very proud of me," Karen said.
"They must be proud of you, Karen," Kairi said.
"Yeah," Karen said. Since bringing up her adoptive family has made her wonder how they were doing. Ever since she left to find the answers they didn't have, she has missed them greatly. Karen wanted to get to know Sora and Ven since they are her family. Also, she thought of them welcoming Blossom in the family, the same way that her biological family has welcomed her.
Meanwhile, Cloud, Tidus, Yuffie, Tifa, Aerith, and several members of PHOP were having a secret meeting about the Malefic Pokémon outbreak.
"Man, this is getting out of hand. Those Malefic Pokémon sightings are skyrocketing," Yuffie said.
"How are Team Shadow expecting to get away with this?" Aerith asked.
"Like I would know. Team Shadow is really playing for keeps if they're making our Pokémon look like amateurs," Cloud said.
"Especially after Sora and the others dealt with Team Shadow since their travels in Unova," Aerith said.
"Because of that and the Decepticons being here, they're not taking any chances," Tifa said.
"You think that Sora kid caught whiff of it by now?" Tifa asked.
"I would think so. Hopefully, he might have figured out their weaknesses," Cloud said.
"Hope so," Tidus said. "Because we could use some good news for a change."
"We don't know if they even have any weakness, Tidus," Yuffie said. "But if he didn't, then we'll have to figure it out for ourselves."
"Yuffie might be right. We can't afford to make any mistakes against Team Shadow," Aerith said.
"What about when the higher-ups sends out to look into it again?" Yuffie asked.
"You've been aching for some action for a while, Yuffie," Tifa said. "And so am I."
"You got me there, Tifa," Yuffie said. "Anyway, I heard some rumors online about a satellite hovering around the earth, nonstop. It's been up there ever since the Cons were blown into spare parts."
"Along with Unicron," Tidus added. "What does that have to do with us?"
"I don't know, but I think those inter dimensional guys are using it," Yuffie said.
"They're probably on the same trail as us," Cloud said. "We'll just wait for the chief to give the word about them."
"You think they have good intentions?" Aerith asked.
"The Cons didn't, but the Bots did. Also, Sora's inter dimensional buddies wouldn't have attacked us anyway," Cloud said. "So, yeah, I think they have good intentions."
"If Sora can trust them, so can I," Tidus said.
Over in Team Shadow HQ, Dakim was training hard, thinking back at how Karen defeated him.
"I still can't believe that a rank amateur beat me! I won't forget this insult!" Dakim said, cracking his knuckles.
"Still angered by that defeat?" A voice spoke from behind. Dakim turned to see it was Sephiroth.
"What the hell do you want, Sephiroth? Come to rub it in my face again?" Dakim asked.
"Now, now. I just came to talk," Sephiroth said.
"I'm in no mood to talk," Dakim said.
"Because you still feel humiliated by your defeat by her hands?" Sephiroth asked.
"It's going to be different the next time; so mark my words," Dakim said. "And I'll show that little girl nobody beats Dakim and walks!"
"Yes, because of our Malefic Pokémon project, Ein has been working on, which is an overwhelming success," Sephiroth said. "We would have defeated Sora and his friends if some of his inter dimensional allies haven't interfered."
"Why does Master Mateus bother with those chumps? They lost to him, too, if I remember right," Dakim said.
"True, but their numbers were going up as of late. I even had the pleasure of meeting some of them. Although, there are some I find amusing," Sephiroth said.
"Amusing. Now there's a word I never thought I would hear pass your lips. You're more stone faced than a Nosepass," Dakim said.
"Just as your muscles rivals that of a Machamp," Sephiroth added. "Master Mateus seems to think of them as potential allies; but at the same time, they're dangerous." Dakim looked at him.
"What do you mean?" Dakim asked.
"They have been making plans of their own; without Master Mateus's word," Sephiroth said. "Some would say they would betray us."
"I never trusted those guys, so you might be right," Dakim said.
"At least someone agrees with me, because Venus and Kuja said I was being paranoid," Sephiroth said.
Back in the Kalos region, Sora and Noct were doing some training in the beach of Ambrette Town. Upon training, Sora accidentally came across a Binacle. Two heads were fighting over some seaweed. Sora saw it as an opportunity to catch some more Kalos Pokémon. Sora turned to Pikachu.
"Go for it, Pikachu," Sora said. Pikachu went for Binacle were too busy fighting over the seaweed to notice Pikachu approaching it. "Iron Tail!" Pikachu swung his tail and struck Binacle. Angered by Pikachu's assault, the barnacle Pokémon attacked with a Water Gun. "Dodge it!" Pikachu dodged Binacle's Water Gun. "Use Thunderbolt!" Pikachu unleashed Thunderbolt, shocking the two-headed Pokémon, resulting paralysis. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it. Binacle flows inside and wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball confirming the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off asking him if he wants to keep Binacle with him or send it to Professor Oak's lab. Sora decided to send Binacle to Professor Oak's lab. "Good work, buddy."
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
The two of them proceeded to their training for the Gym battle. Training went on as planned on the beach. Sora had Chespin and Froakie out to spar.
"Okay, Froakie. Use Water Pulse, and Chespin. You use Vine Whip," Sora said. "Go!" Chespin unleashed Vine Whip at Froakie, but the bubble frog Pokémon dodged by jumping out of the way and unleashed Water Pulse. "Okay, Chespin! Dodge!" Chespin dodged Froakie's Water Pulse. "That's it, guys! Keep it up!" Chespin kept on dodging, he was aware of a Clauncher, resting on a rock. Chespin accidentally stepped on Clauncher. Angered, Clauncher clamped Chespin with its large pincer. Chespin yelped in pain. Chespin ran around in pain, with Clauncher holding on tight. "Ooh, that looks painful." He turned to Froakie. "Help Chespin, Froakie." The bubble frog Pokémon hopped over to the crustacean Pokémon and right on it. Clauncher lets go of Chespin, so it didn't care about Chespin anymore. Clauncher came at Froakie with Crabhammer. "Dodge and use Water Pulse!" Froakie is struck by Pulse, but it gets back up. Clauncher came at Froakie with Vice Grip. "Use Bubble!" Froakie fired Bubble and struck Clauncher again. Clauncher came at Froakie with Crabhammer, and lands a successful hit. "Use Pound!" Froakie came at Clauncher with Pound. "Use Water Pulse!" Froakie hurls a Water Pulse, dealing some more damage. Clauncher was down, but not out. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it. Clauncher flowed inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball confirming the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off asking him if he wants to keep Clauncher with him. He chose to send Clauncher to Professor Oak's lab. "Good work, Froakie."
"Fro," Froakie said. Sora turned to Chespin.
"You okay, Chespin?" Sora asked.
"Chespin, Ches," Chespin said, rubbing his tail.
"You should take a rest for a while. That Clauncher really meant business," Sora said, calling back, Chespin. He took out Honedge's Pokéball. "Come on out, Honedge!" The sword Pokémon emerged from inside. "Okay, how about we practice a bit with your moves. Like for example, use Slash on that rock over there!" Honedge comes out of his hilt and slashed the rock Sora was pointing to. "That was awesome, Honedge! Keep it up!" Honedge slashed at another rock. Noct was impressed by Sora's training. "Okay, use Shadow Ball!" Honedge unleashed Shadow Ball and it blasted in the water, forcing a Skrelp out of the water. "A Skrelp." The mock kelp Pokémon attacked with a Water Gun attack. Froakie jumped to avoid Water Gun. "Water Pulse!" Froakie forms Water Pulse and hurled it right at Skrelp. The mock kelp Pokémon releases a stream of violet acid from its mouth at Froakie. Honedge got in front of Froakie and took the hit.
"Poison Type attacks has zero effect on Steel Type Pokémon such as Honedge. Sora has made a smart move," Noct said.
"Use Slash!" Sora ordered. Honedge moved towards Skrelp, but it dodged the attack. "Use Shadow Ball!" Honedge forms another Shadow Ball and lands a hit on Skrelp. "One more Shadow Ball!" Honedge lands a hit with Shadow Ball. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it. Skrelp flows inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off asking him if he wants to keep Skrelp with him. He chose to send Skrelp to Professor Oak's lab. "Three catches in one day, and all Water Types."
"Impressive captures, Sora," Noct said. Sora turned to see him. "You are on a roll."
"Thanks," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"So, how about some more training?" Sora suggested.
"I am down for it," Noct seconded Sora's suggestion. They trained for like an half-hour until Kairi, Karen, and Serena came to get them.
"Sora!" Kairi and Serena both said at the same time. Sora, Noct, Pikachu, and the other Pokémon turned to see the girls.
"Kairi, Karen, Serena, what's up?" Sora asked.
"You should come to the Pokémon Center. There's someone waiting for you," Kairi said.
Sora obliged when they met up with the rest of the group. He saw it was Alexa.
"Alexa, hey!" Sora greeted.
"Sora, good to see you," Alexa greeted back.
"Say, we bumped into Viola yesterday," Sora said.
"I know. She called me yesterday and told all about it. She was close, the poor door," Alexa said.
"How does she know Viola?" Yukari asked.
"Viola is Alexa's younger sister," Terra answered her.
"She told me that you picked up some extra traveling companions along the way," Alexa pointed out.
"Something like that," Minato said.
"What brings you here?" Sora asked.
"I came into town for an article I'm working on, and I was hoping I would bump into you, so how about you would come along with me?" Alexa asked.
"What article are you writing?" Clemont asked.
"The Fossil Lab," Alexa said.
"The Fossil Lab? As in Pokémon fossils?" Agumon asked.
"Yes," Alexa said.
"Pokémon fossils?" Ken asked.
"Fossilized remains of prehistoric Pokémon like Tyrunt and Tyrantrum," Clemont said.
"Kinda like the dinosaurs back in our home world," Junpei said. Alexa titled her head in confusion.
"Huh?" Alexa asked.
"It's a long story," the group all said at once.
"To answer more on your question, researchers were studying Pokémon that have been extinct for millions of years. Their goal is to study the behaviors of how these ancient Pokémon lived back in those days," Clemont said.
"Whoa," Minato said with awe.
"That sounds complicated," Bonnie said, puffing her cheeks.
"Recently, the Fossil Lab made a huge discovery, and I'm writing my article about!" Alexa said.
"Big discovery? I wonder what it is!" Ventus said.
"Pika!" Sparky added, sharing Ventus's curiosity.
"I can see why you want us to tag along," Meowth said.
"Aren't fossils just bones, rocks, and stuff? I don't get the appeal," Serena said.
"After this, I think you will," Aqua said.
The group made their way to the Fossil Lab, and they're greeted by one of the researchers.
"Welcome to the Fossil Lab, everyone. My name is Thaddeus, and I'm a researcher here," Thaddeus introduced himself.
"I'm Alexa, and I'm writing the article," Alexa introduced herself. "It's a pleasure."
"It's a pleasure," the group said.
"The pleasure's all mine," Thaddeus said. "Right this way." The group entered inside as a pair of teenagers poke their heads from some bushes.
"This is the place, Pat. The Fossil Lab," one of the teens said.
"What exactly are we looking for, Zack?" Pat asked.
"Ugh, I'm only going to explain it one more time. I got word that there's a big discovery that's got the whole town talking. A discovery that has to be prehistoric Pokémon that are up for grabs!" Zack said.
"Prehistoric Pokémon? Like Aerodactyl, Kabuto, or Tirtouga?" Pat asked.
"Yep. And we're going to find out which Pokémon it is," Zack said, taking out a remote control. He uses it to control an RC helicopter and followed them inside.
Inside the Fossil Lab, the group looked at the marvels of Pokémon fossils.
"Hard to believe these used to be living creatures," Fuuka said.
"It's truly amazing," Ken said with awe.
"I still don't see the appeal," Serena said.
Thaddeus came and handed the human members of the group a jacket to wear.
"Here, put these on," Thaddeus said. They took the jackets and puts them on. They entered into a room that is extremely cold.
"Brr, that's cold," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu added.
"Why does it have to be so cold in here?" Junpei asked.
"We turned down the temperature for the comfort of the Pokémon," Thaddeus said. And perfect timing, a small group of Amaura came running towards them. "And there they are."
"Are those-?" Aigis asked.
"They're Amaura!" Kairi said.
"Eevee!" Angel added.
"Amaura?" Yukari asked.
"They're the pre-evolved form of Aurorus," Kairi said. "And to add: they're really cute." One cuddles her, making her giggle.
"She's right. They are cute," Yukari said as several Amaura cuddles her.
"And they feel cool," Ken said.
Some of the Amaura were looking at Koromaru oddly; the dog sniffed the prehistoric Pokémon, but they sniffed him back.
"Amaura and their evolved form Aurorus lived in the frozen regions of Kalos three hundred million years ago," Clemont said.
"Yes. And those frozen regions had very few predators for Amaura and Aurorus to worry about," Thaddeus said. Stomping is heard in front of them. They saw it was an Aurorus approaching them.
"An Aurorus!" Karen said.
"Yes. This one evolved from an Amaura not too long ago," Thaddeus said.
"They're not fossils; they're real living Pokémon," Serena said.
"This is the article I'm writing!" Alexa said, readying her camera.
"If they're extinct, how did you come across them?" Mitsuru asked curiously.
"I will be happy to oblige, young lady," Thaddeus said. "One of our research team has come across a bunch of Amaura eggs."
"Eggs?" Ken asked.
"Yes. It was quite curious. Just shortly after the eggs have arrived here, the eggs begun hatching before we could determine what they were. Since knowing of Amaura's atmosphere, we decreased the temperature for their comfort," Thaddeus explained. "The Aurorus you see is the first one to evolve."
"Whoa," Shinjiro said.
"Incredible! Being able to see actual see Amaura and an Aurorus up close!" Clemont said. That one Amaura became attached to Kairi.
"I like you, too," Kairi said, giggling. The rest of the Amaura nuzzled the group.
"Cool to the touch," Armadillomon said.
"Just don't lick any one of them, or your tongue will get stuck," Gatomon said, laughing. Alexa approached Thaddeus.
"Thaddeus, can you share with us with what you've learned from this discovery?" Alexa asked.
"I'll be happy to," Thaddeus said.
The group were unaware of the mini-helicopter flying in the air.
Pat and Zack were outside, watching the group.
"Amaura and an Aurorus! We've hit a gold mine!" Zack said, chuckling.
"Sure did! You were right to stick around!" Pat said. "So how are we gonna snag one for each of us? And who gets that Aurorus?"
"Leave that to me," Zack said.
"Say, you think we could step out? It's colder than a Beartic's toenail in here," Meowth said.
"Good idea," Terra said.
"Aw, I wanna play with the Amaura some more," Bonnie pouted as Dedenne dug into the jacket.
"You gotta think about Dedenne. You don't want him to catch a cold," Clemont said.
"Oh, okay," Bonnie said.
The group started to step out as Zack and Pat watched from the outside.
"They're stepping out!" Zack said as he and Pat moved right in to make the capture. Zack took out a Pokéball and opened it.
"Grapploct! Come on out!" Zack called out. A Grapploct came right out. "Use Rock Smash!" Grapploct swung its tentacle at the steel door as hard as it could. "Keep it up, Grapploct!" The octopus-like Pokémon manages to break down the door at last.
They entered the room, and found how cold it is.
"Colder than a witch's titty in here, isn't it?" Pat asked.
"It's going to be worth it when we find one of those Amaura," Zack said. He spots one of the Amaura. "And speak of the devil! There's one of them now!"
It was the Amaura that was nuzzling Kairi earlier. It turned to the two teens and Grapploct.
"So, which one of us is going for it?" Pat asked.
"The real target's that Aurorus," Zack sai. Stomping his heard as Aurorus approached them. "And that one's mine!"
"Hey, how come you get Aurorus? I want Aurorus!" Pat argued.
"Hey, you lost the coin toss!" Zack argued back. "Grapploct! Go get it! Rock Smash!" Grapploct smacked Aurorus hard. The tundra Pokémon let out a loud cry of pain, alerting the lab's staff.
"What's going on in here?" One of the staff members asked. He spots the intruders. "Hey, who are you?"
"Crap! The jig is up!" Pat exclaimed.
"You have no business being in here!" The second staff member said.
"Grapploct! Take those guys out!" Zack ordered. The octopus-like Pokémon walked over to the staff members and grabbed them both. Sora and his friends came running, hearing the commotion.
"Hey, what's going on in here?" Sora asked. The teens turned to see the group.
"Hey! Back off! These are mine!" Zack exclaimed.
"Don't you mean ours, Zack?" Pat asked.
"Shut up!" Zack said.
"You two are trespassing!" Thaddeus said, showing up. "Leave now or else, I'll call the authorities!"
"Like hell! We came here for those Pokémon, and we're not leaving until we get them!" Zack argued.
"Nobody's catching any Pokémon here!" Sora said. "This your chance to get lost!"
"Why should we?" Zack asked.
"Yeah, why should we?" Pat asked.
"We can teach you little punks a lesson you won't forget," Shinjiro said, stepping forward. Sora stepped in.
"Let us handle this," Sora said. He turned to his girlfriend. "You ready, Kairi?"
"Always," Kairi said.
Pikachu and Angel got ready to battle as well.
"This should be loads of fun!" Zack said.
"You're right! Let's do this thing!" Pat added, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Crabominable!" His Pokéball opened up and a Crabominable came on out.
"Who's that Pokémon?" Serena asked.
"It's a Crabominable!" Aqua said.
"Okay, Angel! Use Quick Attack!" Kairi ordered.
"You use Quick Attack, too, Pikachu!" Sora ordered.
The Pokémon couple ran across the snow.
"Crabominable! Use Ice Hammer on that Eevee!" Pat ordered.
"Grapploct! Use Bind on Pikachu!" Zack ordered. Grapploct moved in to grab Pikachu as Crabominable swung its icy pincers down on the ground. They missed their targets, due to them running too fast.
"They're literally running circles around those two!" Palmon said.
"Keep it up!" Gomamon cheered.
"Grapploct! Use Rock Smash!" Zack ordered.
"Crabominable! Use Ice Hammer again!" Pat ordered.
Grapploct swung its tentacles as Crabominable swung its icy pincers again.
"Iron Tail!" Sora and Kairi ordered. The Pokémon couple swung their tails at the woolly crab Pokémon, dealing some heavy damage.
"Use Bind!" Zack ordered. Grapploct grabbed both of Pikachu and Angel with its tentacles, squeezing hard. "Gotcha now!"
"Pikachu!" Sora called out.
"Angel!" Kairi cried.
"Put the squeeze on them!" Zack ordered. Grapploct started to squeeze even harder. Amaura looked right at Kairi's face, so it skids the snow like a bull preparing to charge. Amarua then fired Powder Snow at Grapploct, making it let go of Pikachu and Angel. "Hey!"
"Crabominable! Use Power-Up Punch!" Pat ordered. Crabominable moved in to deliver the punch onto Amaura, but Aurorus fired Hyper Beam at Crabominable and Grapploct, taking them both out.
"Crap!" The two teens exclaimed before Palmon wrapped them her vines.
"You're not going anywhere," Palmon said.
"A few minutes later, the police arrived and arrested the two teens.
"Man, my mom and dad are going to be so mad at me," Pat cried
"Shut up!" Zack yelled.
"What will you do with them?" Noct asked.
"So far, those two will be charged for trespassing and destruction of private property. They'll probably get community service if they're willing to cooperate," Officer Jenny said.
"I'm so grateful for your help," Thaddeus said.
"It's Amaura and Aurorus who helped us," Kairi said.
"She's right. They would have done Pikachu and Angel in if they didn't help," Sora said.
"They're right," Minato agreed. "It would have turned ugly."
Amaura went to Kairi and nuzzled her, making her giggle.
"You're welcome, Amaura," Kairi said. Thaddeus looked at Amaura and he smiled.
"Do you like her, Amaura?" Thaddeus asked. Amaura nodded. "How would you feel about being with her, Amaura?" Kairi was shocked to hear it.
"Are you sure it's okay? I don't want to take him away from his friends," Kairi said.
"It's okay, Kairi," Thaddeus assured her. "Amaura will be in good hands, and he might be sad if you just left."
"Only if that's what he wants," Kairi said, looking at him. "Do you want to come with us, Amaura?" Amaura nodded. She smiled. "Okay, if that's what you want, Amaura." She took out a Pokéball. Amaura pressed the button and flowed inside. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch.
Later, the group stood outside the lab. Kairi had let out Amaura to say goodbye.
"I have every confidence that you will take good care of Amaura," Thaddeus said.
"I promise I'll do a good job with him," Kairi said.
"Good luck in your Gym battle, Sora," Alexa said.
"Thanks, Alexa," Sora said. "And we're off."
