Episode 545: Aboard the SMASH Tower
Shortly after the battle with Grant, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Calem, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, the Digimon, and SEES returned to the Pokémon Center as Noct and Luna waited for their return.
"How did it go?" Noct asked.
"Grant gave me a real run for my money, but I managed to win the Cliff Badge," Sora said. "And I gotta have my Pokémon heal up."
"Alright," Sora had his Pokémon checked in and waited for a few minutes until they were completely healed from their injuries.
"Your Pokémon are fighting fit," Nurse Joy said.
"Thank you," Sora said, taking his Pokéballs. He turned to Pikachu and nodded. Pikachu nodded back as they went to the room they were staying in. "Okay, you guys know the deal."
"We do," SEES said. Sora used his S-Pod to make contact with the SMASH Tower.
"Sora to SMASH Tower, requesting transportation," Sora said.
"Request granted," Alia said. With that said, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, the Digimon, and SEES were teleported on the SMASH Tower. Kotone was overwhelmed to see she the planet below her.
"Whoa," Kotone said.
"I know, it's amazing," Sora said. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, the Digimon, and SEES arrived to see the members of SMASH gather around. "Okay, everyone. This meeting will come to order."
"What is this even about?" Radical Rex asked.
"I know it's out of the blue, but this is really important. We should talk," Sora said.
"And we wouldn't have called this meeting if it wasn't important," Kairi said. She noticed some new faces with Jazz. "Um, who are you?"
"Right, you haven't met. Sora, Kairi, meet Spaz, my brother, and Lori, my sister. And this is Eva, the love of my life. Eva, Spaz, Lori, meet Sora and Kairi, the couple I told you about," Jazz introduced.
"It's nice to meet you," Kairi said.
"We can never have too much members. Since everybody's here, we have an important thing to discuss. As you know, the members of SEES have been traveling with us, but just recently, we picked up a member who they don't know, but she knows most of them. I had a look into her aura, and saw that they both match," Sora said.
"What do you mean match?" Coco asked.
"They have the exact same aura," Sora said. "But they are completely different at the same time."
"So, the new girl will be explaining who she is," Agumon said.
"Right. My name is Kotone Shiomi. I came from a world that is similar to theirs, but different in others," Kotone said.
"That's something we already know," Waluigi stated.
"The world I come from is now dead," Kotone said. The members of SMASH all mutter to one another before they quited down. "I am not only the leader and last surviving member of SEES, I'm also the sole survivor of my world. Humanity was completely wiped out by the Shadows. And not just humanity, but all the plants and the animals, too."
"That must have been awful for you," Peach said.
"It was," Kotone admitted.
"How did you get here?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah, it shouldn't have been possible unless you came through a dimensional rift," Bentley the turtle said.
"It was Cosma who brought me here," Kotone said. "She told me the situation in this world. I didn't seem to care at first, but Cosma convinced me otherwise."
"Most of us were brought over in the same way," Sly said.
"And that was when the Autobots and Decepticon were here," Croc pointed out.
"Red was the one who brought some of us here," Rash said.
"Anyway, getting back on topic, how did humanity die exactly?" Joker asked.
"The Shadows were much stronger than we thought. Too strong for even us. We never stood a chance. We did our best, but it wasn't enough. And my friends, and my world paid the ultimate price," Kotone said.
"How sad," Fluttershy said, almost crying.
"So, I want to prevent what happened there to happen here," Kotone said.
Silence filled the SMASH Tower.
Back to the Pokémon Center, Karen, Terra, Aqua, Calem, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, and Eclair were waiting anxiously for their return.
"How much longer are they going to be?" Bonnie asked.
"Hopefully, not too long," Clemont said.
"I'm sure everyone up there probably already know about Kotone's world," Ventus said.
"I still can't believe that there's a space station floating around the planet, and we don't know about it," Calem said.
"How did it get there to begin with?" Serena asked.
"It was in the final battle against the Decepticons. Unicron was coming to destroy the planet. The SMASH Tower suddenly appeared and blasted the Decepticon ship as Optimus fueled by the Chaos Emeralds destroyed Unicron, and Megatron with him. The SMASH Tower blew up the Decepticon ship, saving us all," Karen explained.
"I remember seeing that in the news," Serena said. "I honestly had no idea Sora had anything to do with it."
"Yeah, but that still leaves Team Shadow and those Malefic Pokémon," Ventus said.
"It does. There's no telling when they'll make their move again," Terra said.
Back in the SMASH Tower, the meeting continued on.
"And what about the Brotherhood of Darkness? What if they catch wind of this, too?" Link asked.
"I'm-a with-a Link. They-a didn't hesitate to get to us before we took-a them down," Mario said.
"We still don't know if it's them or not," Richter said.
"I'm with him," Pit said. "I mean, it's not like they're just going to send a message to us right away."
"Maybe so, Pit, but we can never be too careful," Palutena said.
"Poyo," Kirby said.
"Why are we even talking about them? We kicked their butts into that one dimension, didn't we?" Shantae asked.
"No, Palutena's right. The attack from Eggman says different," Knuckles said. "Ever since that one time, we have to assume they're out and about right now."
"And not to mention, Dr. Wily's Robot Masters were in Kalos, in case you forgot, Pit," Mega Man said.
"So, they know about us by now?" Pit asked.
"I would think they do," Zero said.
"And they will make their response to us," X said.
"Not only we have to worry about those evil doctors we have to worry about Grogar, Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow being in this world," Twilight said.
"Team Shadow has to be involved in this," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
Meanwhile up in a temple in the sky, a strong wind blows as Xande, Grogar, Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow have all arrived on the scene.
"So, which ones are we going for next?" Cozy Glow asked.
"The Crystal of Wind," Xande said.
"That would explain the strong winds being blown," Tirek said, feeling the strong gust in his face. Just then, a large bird of prey comes flying in.
"What is that?" Chrysalis asked.
"A Wing Raptor," Xande said. "No doubt, it's the Guardian of the Wind Crystal."
"Let's clip its wings," Cozy Glow suggested. The villains fire their magic the Wind Raptor. It swoops down to grab them. It snatched Cozy Glow, but she teleports herself out. "That was close!"
"Flare XVI!" Xande shouted, sending out a huge fireball appeared on the giant bird, and explodes on contact. The Wing Raptor fell as feathers are blown. The Wing Raptor then fell to the ground as Xande impales the bird with a spear he conjured. "Come." The villains march their way to the Crystal Chamber and they enter inside to see a green crystal on the pedestal.
"And there it is," Tirek said.
Xande took the Wind Crystal and he laughed.
"Five down, three to go!" Cozy Glow said.
They vanished and reappeared before Mateus.
"Majesty, the Crystal of Wind is now in our possession," Xande said, presenting the crystal to him.
"Excellent, Xande. I expect no less of you," Mateus said. "I shall locate the next crystal, so be prepared."
"I will, your majesty," Xande said.
Back to the SMASH Tower, Fluttershy is rubbing Koromaru's belly.
"Who's a good puppy?" Fluttershy cooed as the dog found the petting to his licking.
"It seems Koro likes Fluttershy," Ken said.
"Well, Fluttershy has a thing for animals," Rainbow Dash said. "It's been like that ever since she and I were fillies back when we were at the Junior Speedsters flight camp. It's a camp for pegasi like me and Fluttershy."
"Were you and Fluttershy close?" Ken asked.
"Close as we are right now," Rainbow Dash answered. "She was being picked on by three bullies, and I swooped in. I told them to leave her alone. When they asked me why should they, I just said 'Keep picking on her and find out!', and I challenged them into a race. Even as a filly, I was awesome."
"You're a true friend to defend Fluttershy," Ken said.
"Yeah. Which is why, I'm the Element of Loyalty," Rainbow Dash said. "Or I was."
"I still find it hard to believe that there's a world with talking ponies," Ken said. "Even when they're colorful, and have those." He points to her cutie mark.
"Twilight will fill you in that," Rainbow Dash said.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon, they were approached by Tron.
"I don't think we were properly introduced before. The name's Tron. Tron Bonne," Tron said.
"Sora, and this is Kairi, my girlfriend," Sora introduced. Tron looked at Kairi.
"You're so pretty, and I love that hair! What shade did you dye it?" Tron asked.
"I didn't dye my hair. It's my natural hair color," Kairi said.
"It's true," Meowth said. Tron even grabbed Meowth and began to nuzzle him.
"What a cute little kitty! I love cats so much!" Tron said, hugging Meowth as he tries to get out of her grip. She even grabbed Pikachu and Angel. "And they're so cute, too!" Tron cuddles them.
"Hey!" A new voice barked. It turns out to come from Kanji who approaches them. "Who said you can cuddle them!" Kanji took Pikachu from her and starts nuzzling him. "Those red cheeks just shows off how cute it is!" Pikachu starts to shock Kanji as he fell backwards. "For such a cutie, it packs a lot of juice.
"I should have warned you. He is really touchy when someone does that," Sora said.
"Thanks for the warning," Kanji said in a daze. Sora chuckled as he remembered when Kanji went nuts for Koromaru.
(Flashback)
It was shortly after dealing with the evil Malamar. Kanji was petting Koromaru non-stop.
"You're such a nice doggy!" Kanji cooed. He rubbed the dog's belly. He liked it so much.
(Flashback ends)
Sora just smiled as Pikachu went back to Sora's side.
"Anyway, Tron, wasn't it? How did you end up here? I never got the chance to ask," Sora said.
"I went through a dimensional rift, looking for my Mega Man, and then I end up being caught, and then he lets me out, owing me a date," Tron said.
"So, I take it that you have a crush on him," Kairi said.
"I love him as much as the sea has fish," Tron said, stating the obvious.
"Alright," Sora said.
A little while later, Sora stood by a window, looking at the earth as Kairi approached him.
"It's beautiful up here, isn't it?" Kairi asked.
"Yeah, it is," Sora said. "I'm glad that I got to share it with you." He took her by the hand. Pikachu and Angel nuzzled closely as Rarity, Roll, Iris tried to get a peek. "You know, I probably said this a million times, but I'm glad you're my girlfriend." Kairi giggled.
"You're right, you have said this a million times," Kairi said. "But I'm glad you're my boyfriend, Sora. I really do love you."
"And I love you," Sora said, giving Kairi a kiss on the lips. She kissed him back, wrapping her arms around him. He does the same thing. Rarity almost faints as Roll and Iris swoons at the sight. They broke their kiss and went back to gazing at the blue planet.
"How sweet," Iris said in her thoughts. "It reminds me so much as me and Zero." Iris smiled as she went to search for the Reploid she loves. She found Zero walking the halls with X. She went right towards him, and she embraced Zero in her arms.
"Iris, what's gotten into you?" Zero asked.
"Do I need a reason to express the love for the Reploid I love, Zero?" Iris playfully asked.
"I guess that's true," Zero said.
"I'll leave you two alone," X said. Zero lovingly embraces her back.
A little later, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon were getting ready to head back down, and they were waiting for SEES to join up. Minato and Kotone approached the couple.
"Guys, you coming?" Sora asked.
"We're going to be sticking around for a while," Minato said.
"You sure?" Sora asked.
"We liked having you around," Kairi said.
"It's the choice we made," Kotone said.
"But, we can meet up with you another time," Minato said.
"So, you're officially joining SMASH, are ya?" Meowth asked.
"Not officially yet, but we'll join up you again," Minato said.
"Okay," Sora said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon were teleported back at the Cyllage City Pokémon Center where Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Calem, Serena, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, and Eclair were waiting for them.
"Minato and the others aren't going to be with us?" Ventus asked.
"They said they'll be sticking with the SMASH Tower for a while," Meowth said.
"It was their choice," Sora said.
"If it was their choice, then we'll have to respect it," Aqua said.
"Who's up for some chow up in the mess hall?" Agumon asked.
"You know it, Agumon!" Sora said, almost chuckling.
The group went down to the mess hall and had themselves quite a meal.
On the very next morning, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, and the Digimon were taking off as Calem and Serena had already left ahead of them.
Just when they left, the group decided to make themselves a little video they learned called Pokévision.
"Pokévision? Sounds like fun," Kairi said.
"It sure does. I'm going to guess you make videos with your Pokémon, right?" Sora asked.
"That's exactly right, Sora. It shows off the bonds between Pokémon and their trainers," Clemont said.
"That sounds like a great idea," Kairi said. She looked over to Sora. "We should get into it."
"Um, okay," Sora said.
It didn't take long until Sora and Kairi got set for their part for Pokévision. Sora and Pikachu were dressed in suits as Kairi has dressed in the dress she wore in the Grand Festivals. Angel was wearing a matching dress. Sora just smiled as Clemont blushed seeing Kairi in the dress.
"Ooh, you're so pretty, Kairi!" Bonnie gushed.
"Thanks," Kairi said. "I'm ready to get started, Sora."
"I'm ready as ever," Sora said.
"Lights, camera, action!" Meowth exclaimed.
After getting done with their Pokévision video, they uploaded the video online as romantic music played in the background as Sora and Pikachu are walking in a field of flowers. Kairi and Angel approach from the opposite side. Sora and Pikachu held out their hands as Kairi and Angel took their hands.
The scene switches as Kairi and Angel are on a bench as flower petals blow in the wind.
The scene switches to Sora and Pikachu sitting on the same bench with the flower petals blowing.
The scene switches to the four of them sitting on the same bench. Both couples then held hands.
The scene switches to a starry night as both couples are dancing with one another. Pikachu and Angel were on their trainer's shoulders as they slowed dance.
The scene switches to Sora and Kairi moving in for a kiss as Pikachu and Angel do the same thing. The video ends.
"Wow, we got so many hits! And so many likes" Clemont said. "And we have only just put it up."
"Look at the comments!" Gabumon said as he read. "'SoKai 4ever', 'Pikachu looks sharp, and Eevee looks cute', 'such a cute video'."
"They're really eating it up like it was an ice cream sandwich," Veemon said.
"Well, it's pretty sweet," Biyomon said.
"I enjoyed every minute we did it," Kairi said. She looked at Angel. "And I know Angel did, too."
"Eevee," Angel said.
After a while, a Spritzee came flying in and stretched its wings.
"Hey, a Spritzee," Ventus said.
"It's such a cutie!" Bonnie squealed.
"I agree, Bonnie, she's very cute," Kairi said. She looked at Angel. "You ready to go, Angel?"
"Vee!" Angel said. She stepped in front of Spritzee. The perfume Pokémon began with a Fairy Wind.
"Dodge and use Swift!" Kairi ordered. Angel fired Swift right at Spritzee, landing some damage. Spritzee uses Attract on Angel, but failed to her being female. "Angel! Use Iron Tail!" Angel swings her tail and lands a hit onto Spritzee, landing a super-effective hit. "Use Headbutt!" Angel lands a Headbutt onto Spritzee. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it. Spritzee flows inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box goes off asking her if she wants to keep Spritzee with her. She chose to send Spritzee to Professor Oak's lab. "I got myself a cute little Spritzee!"
"Eevee, vee!" Angel added.
"That was a great catch, Kairi," Sora said with a compliment.
"Thank you, Sora," Kairi said, giving her boyfriend a deserved kiss on the lips. He kisses her back. Bonnie smiled warmly as Dedenne blushed heavily. Clemont did the same thing.
The journey to Shalour City has begun, the home of the third Pokémon Gym of the Kalos region. And who knows what other adventures awaits the group along the way? Just you wait and see.
