To Lyger 0: Nope! Actually, if you look back at "Paris" chapter 7, the Dinosaur Miraculous was in Emilie's collection (the "necklace"). When he finally reactivated, Turing was right next to where Tyran-X died.

To Rose Tiger: He is indeed back!

To Anon2018: Hold onto that thought; there's a lot of therapy that's going to be needed when all's said and done! And on the subject of Águila Peregrino, you are correct: he merged the Eagle and Falcon, giving him the Eagle's flight and mace, along with the Falcon's slingshot and flight speed burst.

From his vantage point hovering high above the Tarasque's head, the Knight scanned the Tarasque's nest carefully, taking in the battlefield spread out below. All of the flying heroes – Majestia, Iron Maiden, Mecha-Man, Hato Gozen, and the Lancer, joined by several others with jetpacks – had spent the last hour flying in a racetrack pattern around the Tarasque, dipping in and out of its range, harrying it with attacks to keep its attention focused on them instead of those on the ground. While it was distracted, the two space-planes had flown directly over it, making strafing runs with their energy cannons and dwindling supply of rockets. And yet, for all their efforts, the Tarasque had continued to rampage through the heroes amassed around it, sending their companions reeling in all directions to escape it. Fin and Kamimizu, working together, had sent a tidal wave through the nest from the Rhone River, creating a muddy mess on one side of the city where the pavement had been entirely worn away to expose the dirt beneath. Several minutes ago, Ladybug had given the signal and Killer Bee had sprinted around the Tarasque toward its tail in order to immobilize it, but at that same moment the Tarasque had batted Elettrisicario aside, and the Knight had dived to catch him before he slammed into one of the buildings around the periphery of the nest. By the time he had looked back, Killer Bee and Ladybug had disappeared amid the chaos and confusion of the battle. But the Tarasque continued its rampage, heedless of everything around it.

Certainly Killer Bee should have used her Venom on it by now…

"What's the delay?" the Knight demanded, glancing over at the Lancer, who was flying closest to him, one eye still on the ground and searching for Valkyrie.

The Lancer shook her head. "I don't know! Something must have gone wrong!"

The Knight gritted his teeth. "How are we supposed to hold it still long enough now?" He turned back toward the Tarasque, just in time for Majestia to swoop in and drive her fists into the Tarasque's jaw. The Tarasque turned on her with a growl as she flew past its face, and unleashed a torrent of its fire vision on her back. The Knight swung his sword around to point at her. "Wehren!" A silvery shield shimmered into existence behind Majestia, just in time for the fire to pour into it, deflecting of in all directions and sending a cloud of steam up. At that same moment, a vaguely-familiar golden mace slammed into the side of the Tarasque's head. Lightning flashed. A massive blast of energy hit the Tarasque near the base of its tail.

Dozens of new faces converged on the Tarasque from all directions.

The Knight let out a primal roar, tapping into the runic fire energy, and rocketed forward, shooting over the Tarasque's head and drawing the Tarasque's attention to him. At that same moment, another figure from the north spurred forward, unleashing a pair of energy blasts from his arms as the Knight rolled about and blasted the Tarasque with his own fire. The Tarasque let out a snarl, its tail whipping at the Knight at the same moment that a lasso caught around the Taraque's head. The Knight started, staring at the newcomer – a familiar face, though one he had only seen a couple of times before. "Wait… Turing!?" he demanded. "We thought you had been destroyed – or at least damaged."

"I was," Turing confirmed, swooping around the Tarasque's head and narrowly avoiding a blast of fire vision as a mace slammed into the Tarasque just behind its ear. "It took a day for my system to reboot, close to a week for my internal systems to fully repair." He sent a sonic pulse into the side of the Tarasque's head, eliciting a howl. "It is fortunate that I had the time to spare."

The Knight nodded, swooping past the Tarasque as both space-planes and the flying car that had appeared from the north dove at the Tarasque, sending repeated energy blasts into the back of its neck and peppering its shell with rockets. The Tarasque lashed out its tail and stomped its feet to turn around, sending its fire vision into the cloud of drones following the flying car. A dozen explosions filled the air. The tip of the tail clipped the smaller of the two space-planes, which spun around, smoke spewing from its wing as it careened out of control, straight toward the ground where the Panama heroes were trying to evacuate a group of refugees, alongside la Gymnaste and one of the Dark Acolytes.

"Wehren!" bellowed the Knight, pointing his sword at the ground just above the space-plane. An enormous white shield appeared at an angle just below the space-plane, inverted to form a ramp. The space-place hit the shield a little off-kilter and slammed its belly down, skidding down the shield and only barely managed to stop before it would have slammed into the debris-berm forming the wall of the Tarasque's nest. The Knight let out a relieved breath as the space-plane's canopy fell off and the pilot crawled out.

Two new miraculous users on the ground in front of the Tarasque drew the Knight's attention. In front of a small group of the American Miraculous Team were three figures, two of whom the Knight recognized though he had not seen them in that form since Paris. His jaw dropped in shock: Pegasus, standing hand-in-hand with Impératrice Pourpre. Near them was a third miraculous user, this one in green and brown, who reminded the Knight of Tyran-X though he wore a cowboy hat and a bandana covering his face.

"In-Di-Nado-Quake!" the stranger bellowed, twirling his lasso overhead until it thrummed with magical energy before whipping the ground, striking a spot directly between the Tarasque's front pair of legs. The ground split apart and shattered, crumbling into a chasm out of which a massive lava pit appeared and expanded beneath the Tarasque, sending lava bubbling up and over to splash onto the Tarasque's paws. A whirlwind emerged from the pit and drew a swirl of molten lava out of it and straight into the Tarasque's head. The Tarasque bellowed in a rage as the lava clung to its fur, and it turned to face the stranger, the fire building in its eyes. The stranger drew back his lasso and held up his hands to protect his face, bracing for impact as the molten lava continued to bubble and spit up, all around the Tarasque's head.

Jaw clenched, the Knight dove for the ground, spun around, and landed in a crouch just in front of the miraculous user, twirling his sword deftly to point downward and bracing the blade against his other arm. "Wehren!" A white shield expanded out from his sword and the gauntlet holding its handle, and he braced it in front of himself, protecting himself and the miraculous user. With a roar and rush, the Tarasque unleashed the full power of its fire vision, directly onto the Knight. Flame licked at the shield, coursing around its edges on all sides, and the Knight could feel himself starting to sweat as the heat around him rose. With a growl, he leaned into the shield, pushing back against the force of the fire vision in a desperate attempt to keep himself on his feet. Behind him, the miraculous user crouched low, spinning his lasso to one side. Only a moment later the shield shattered, and the Knight turned his head away just before the fire struck his armor, heating it up almost instantly. Sweat poured down his back, even as he could feel his flesh beginning to cook in the heat.

"Knight!" He could hear Valkyrie's scream from far away, even over the roar of the fire. His heart ached at hearing the terror in her voice. But there was nothing he could do; the other miraculous user was still standing behind him, spinning his lasso as a shield; both of them were in the Tarasque's fire. A moment later, the other placed his lasso between both of them and the fire, but even the miraculous shield could only protect them so much.

Someone yelled an order. A javelin struck the Tarasque in the side of its head, and it snorted, its fire vision moving away from the Knight in the direction of Amdeɣimal. The Knight tensed, but before he could do anything, Tenedaw sprinted across the field and grabbed him around the waist, dragging him out of the way. An unfamiliar speedster raced after her and grabbed the miraculous user. As the Tarasque unleached its fire on Amdeɣimal, Roqonsa Saada shimmered dark blue and tackled him out of the way, and the remaining space-plane flew over its head on another strafing run, drawing the Tarasque's ire. It peppered the Tarasque with its energy cannons, the rocket launchers quiet, and rolled quickly to avoid a blast of fire vision which melted straight through the topmost part of the wall of a tall building.

Tenedaw and the unknown speedster raced side-by-side across the nest and finally released the Knight and the other miraculous user on the far side, close to Kamikaze and Valkyrie.

The Knight nodded to Tenedaw, raising his facemask to wipe the perspiration from his forehead. His skin felt raw and tender. "Thanks."

"You're welcome." She nodded curtly and sprinted away. "Ready, Harba?" she called before grabbing him and running in the direction of Buq Hayij and Roqonsa Saada. Harba coiled his cloak and whipped it at the Tarasque's leg as they reached it, and Tenedaw sprinted beneath the Tarasque before it could react. The Tarasque snarled, its tail smashing into the ground where Tenedaw had been. Dhuan, standing on his hind legs grabbed the tail with his front paws and sank his teeth into it, attempting to hold it in place.

"Eelectrocution!" bellowed Elettrisicario, swinging his lengthened lightning rod around toward the Tarasque's tail. Five lightning bolts crackled through the air and struck the lightning rod just as it made contact with the Tarasque, sending electrical energy coursing through its body from head to tail. The moment their lightning ceased, Ryoku held a hand out to Hato Gozen, who swung her around and threw her onto the Tarasque's back.

"Zeus sure doesn't mess around!" the unknown speedster observed. The Knight cocked his head in confusion on studying him more closely, particularly the toga and winged helmet, paired with sandals which bore the same design of wings on their heels.

"Thank you, friend," the strange miraculous user told him. "I don't think I've met you before. Name's Dino-Dan – American. And you?"

He started, staring at Dino-Dan in surprise. "American, huh? I'm Greek – if you couldn't tell by the getup. Not exactly my idea to run around in a toga, but that's just what the powers did to us, at least whenever we try to use them," he explained, speaking rapidly. He gestured to his sandals. "I'd rather something more practical – more modern, maybe – but we haven't figured out any way to affect what we look like. You can call me Hermes, I guess, though that's not my real name. We just got our powers not too long ago, and we figured it's got to be fate, what with everything that's going on in Europe these days: why else would we suddenly have the powers of Olympian gods if we're not supposed to help. So Athena sat down and looked at a map and guessed that the Tarasque had to be somewhere in this area – the city's called 'Tarascon,' after all – or at least it was; probably won't be much of a town again for a while… But that's how we got here. Well, I'd better get back to the others. But I'll see you around!"

As Hermes sprinted away in a blur, the Knight blinked dumbly. "Did – did he say all of that in a single breath?"

Dino-Dan shrugged. "I guess the speed doesn't just affect his legs."

The Knight hummed, as Valkyrie glided down in front of him and spread her arms to hug him. He held out a hand in warning. "Wait! You'll get burned!"

Valkyrie scoffed and threw her arms around his neck, kissing him. "You could never burn me," she whispered before pressing her lips to his once more.

The Knight sighed, allowing himself to enjoy the momentary respite Valkyrie offered. However, the battlefield around him suddenly fell quiet. The stomping and crashing around of the Tarasque had abruptly subsided, and with it the sounds of the heroes throwing attack after attack into the Tarasque's face. Pulling apart from Valkyrie and looking back toward the Tarasque, the Knight's jaw fell open in shock. Caridad stood in the open, directly in front of the Tarasque, one hand outstretched, clutching her rosary in a trembling grip. After only a moment of consideration, the Tarasque let out a snort, bathing Caridad in a cloud of green poison gas. She doubled over, coughing.

"This might be the best chance we get!" shouted Dino-Dan, sprinting toward Caridad and twirling his lasso over his head.

Jaw clenched, the Knight released Valkyrie and slammed his facemask down, leaping into the air as he did so. "Helfen!" Valkyrie rose into the air next to him, a look of concentration on her face, and exhaled, sending a gust of wind past Caridad and carrying away the cloud of poison surrounding her. Looking back toward the Tarasque's tail, the Knight caught sight of Caravela, standing next to Dhuan and watching the Tarasque with a calculating look. With a wave the Knight caught Caravela's attention, gesturing toward the Tarasque's back. Without hesitation, she threw her bungee cord to him as Dhuan dug his claws into the Tarasque's leg, hauling himself upward at a slow but steady pace. The Knight grabbed Caravela's bungee cord, and Caravela was pulled off the ground, swinging backward to build momentum.

Spinning around in midair, she landed on the Tarasque's shell and sprinted across its back. "Dissolution!" she cried, and her bungee cord glowed purple as she spun it around her head and flicked it out to graze the back of the Tarasque's neck, just above the spot where its shell met its neck, where the Knight could see what appeared to be a small black spot in the skin. The Tarasque let out a shriek as the eldritch purple light appeared beneath its skin at that point and expanded outward. The light spread through the Monster's entire body and consolidated into distinct lines between the tail and body; body, shell, and legs; and head and body. Brighter the lines glowed, the light penetrating deeper and deeper even as the light shone brighter beneath the surface of the skin. As the Knight watched, the light pierced through the skin and escaped into the atmosphere. The Tarasque howled and whined, thrashing about in all directions. Slowly, laboriously, the Beasts pulled apart, smoking, as, with a roar, the Lion pounced on Caridad.
