Episode 552: Bonds of Mega Evolution
Night came as Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Korrina, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, Lucario, the Digimon, Team Natsu, the Cooper Gang, Carmelita, and the Panda King were nearing Pomace Mountain.
"How close are we to Pomace Mountain, anyway?" Armadillomon asked.
"According to my calculations, we should be on the mountain grounds in less than half an hour," Bentley said.
"I think we should rest for the night. It's too dark to continue onwards," Erza said.
"Not a bad idea. I'm starting to get blisters as big as a Steelix," Meowth said, rubbing his feet. "And they could feed a Joltik family of four."
With that said, everyone has set up camp to sleep for the night. Erza shared a tent with Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Sparky, Thor, and Eclair as Natsu and Happy slept outside with the Digimon. Lucy, Wendy, and Charla slept in Karen's tent.
Unaware, glowing yellow sets of eyes are watching them. Some of them were small, some of them were large, some of them were medium sized, and some were bigger than the rest. Just when they were starting to make their move, a dimensional rift opened up. Five more figures fell from inside it, scaring off the mysterious creatures. It turns out to be Guilmon, Terriermon, Renamon, Lopmon, Gaomon, and Lalamon. They were unconscious from the dimensional pull.
On the very next morning, everyone started to wake up.
"Man, I slept like a baby," Murray said with a yawn. "I could use some breakfast right about now."
The five Digimon started to wake up and they saw they weren't in the Digital World anymore.
"This is the real world," Terriermon said.
"Just did we get here in the first place? The gateway between the Digital World and the real world has been shut ever since we got back home. How is this possible?" Gaomon asked.
"I don't know, but if Leomon noticed, then he would have started a search party right away," Renamon said.
"Renamon's right. It would be hard to not to notice us missing," Lopmon said.
"It looks like it's going to be a while before they eventually figure out that we're not there anymore," Lalamon said.
"Agumon and the others are here somewhere, so there's a chance we might bump into them eventually," Guilmon said.
"By eventually, you could mean in a few days," Gaomon said.
"He's right. We could be anywhere in the real world," Terriermon said.
Over to the camp, Agumon picked up a whiff. He smelled something familiar to him. Really familiar.
"No, it can't be," Agumon said.
Sora noticed it as well. He and Pikachu started to follow him.
"Agumon, where are you going?" Sora asked.
"Pi," Pikachu said.
"There's someone here," Agumon said.
"Who?" Sora asked.
"I smell Digimon. Only Digimon can give off what I'm smelling," Agumon said.
"Digimon? Here?" Sora asked.
"Chu?" Pikachu asked.
Sora and Pikachu continued to follow Agumon. He eventually leads them to the sight where Guilmon, Terriermon, Renamon, Lopmon, Gaomon, and Lalamon have landed.
"Guys!" Agumon exclaimed happily. The five Digimon turned to see Agumon coming right towards them.
"Agumon!" The five Digimon also exclaimed with glee. Sora and Pikachu caught up with him and they smiled.
"Guilmon?!" Sora exclaimed.
"Pikachu?!" Pikachu also exclaimed. The five Digimon all turned to see him.
"Sora!" They all said.
"How did you get here? And when did you get here?" Sora asked.
"It's a long story, and we don't even know how it started," Terriermon said.
"Sora, Pikachu, Agumon, why did you take off like that?" Kairi asked, catching up. Angel is right beside her. "Everyone's starting to get-" She paused when she sees five familiar faces. "Guilmon, Terriermon, Renamon, Lopmon, Gaomon, and Lalamon?"
"Kairi!" The five Digimon all said.
"And you too, Angel!" Terriermon said. "Still Pikachu's girl?"
"Eevee!" Angel said with glee.
"What are you doing here?" Kairi asked.
"We do not have an answer, Kairi," Renamon said.
"But we have some questions to ask you," Lalamon said.
"Sure thing," Kairi said.
The five Digimon went with the couples, unaware of the pairs of pointed ears sticking out of the ground. We have a look underground, and it's revealed to be a hoard of Pumpkaboo in four different sizes. They were sleeping. However, one Pumpkaboo was steamed. It was one of the biggest Pumpkaboo, so it emerged from the ground. It was furious for having to retreat back underground, and forced to stay down.
Right at the camp, the other Digimon were ecstatic to see their friends again.
"It feels like forever since we've seen you!" Biyomon said.
"Just how did you get here?" Palmon asked.
"We don't know how to explain, but a weird thing opened up and we got sucked in like a vacuum cleaner," Guilmon said.
"A dimensional rift," Sora and Kairi both said.
"You mean, a dimensional rift can open in the Digital World, too?" Ventus asked.
"They can," Sora said. "There's always more than one way to skin a cat; pleasant company excluded." Meowth, Gatomon, and the exceeds all understood what he meant.
"A dimensional rift is pretty how we got here," Gray said.
"Um, who are you?" Guilmon asked.
"Right, you haven't met yet," Sora said. "They're from the Fairy Tail guild in Earthland. Natsu, Lucy, Wendy, Erza, Gray, Happy, and Charla. Those three are the Cooper Gang, Sly, Bentley, and Murray. She's Inspector Carmelita Fox, he's the Panda King. That's Clemont and his little sister, Bonnie. That girl is Korrina, the Shalour City Gym Leader. And that's Karen, my twin sister."
"Sister?" Guilmon asked.
"Long-lost twin sister," Sora said. "It's a really long story."
"Sora, we should start to head up to see Mable," Korrina said.
"Right. I think we should explain on the way," Sora said.
As they got started to make their way towards Pomace Mountain, the group shared their stories since they last saw each other. They weren't surprised to hear what adventures they had.
The group finally made it to Pomace Mountain at last. They made it to a tree with huts on the top.
"Hello there!" Korrina called out. "I'm Korrina from Shalour City! My grandfather told me to come and see you!"
"Car!" Lucario added.
Just then, a Mawile answered the door.
"What kind of Pokémon is that?" Lucy asked.
"It's a Mawile," Clemont said.
"Where's your trainer?" Korrina asked.
"Over here," a voice of elderly woman answered. They turned to see the elderly women riding in a hovercraft, carrying a basket of flowers. Mawile ran up to her. "Thank you so much for watching the house, Mawile." She pets Mawile. The group approached her. "Well, my stars! How do you do? I'm Mable."
"I'm Korrina, and these are my friends. Sora, Kairi, Ven, Aqua, Terra, Karen, Clemont, Bonnie, Sly, Carmelita, Bentley, Murray, Panda King, Natsu, Happy, Lucy, Wendy, Charla, Gray, Erza, and the Digimon," Korrina introduced.
"Hey," Sora greeted.
"I was told you were coming," Mabel said. She turned to Korrina and Lucario. "First, why don't you two demonstrate how strong you are?" Korrina grinned.
"Sure!" Korrina said.
A few minutes later, Mabel and Korrina got into position for their battle. Mabel has Mawile out, and Korrina has Lucario ready.
"Alright, let's begin," Mabel said.
"Okay, Lucario. After Sora and Kairi's battle yesterday, I'm pumped for our Mega Evolution! Now, Mega Evolve!" Korrina pressed her Keystone, causing Lucario to Mega Evolve into Mega Lucario.
"Lucario has such a fine aura," Mabel said. She took out her cane with her Keystone on top. "Now, Mawile. Mega Evolve!" Mawile began to Mega Evolve. Now it has two sets of jaws protruding from the back of its head, and both sets have a spiky tuft of hair. It also seems to be able to control the jaws independently of one another. The ear-like extensions on its head are longer and have tips with two points. Its legs have grown longer, and its "pants" are now magenta. Its arms now resemble thick sleeves, with magenta markings around the wrists.
"So, that's a Mega Mawile," Kairi said.
"Let's hope Korrina's Lucario can stay in control this time," Gabumon said.
"What do you mean this time?" Lopmon asked.
"You should just wait and see when it happens, Lopmon," Gabumon said.
"Power-Up Punch!" Korrina ordered. Mega Lucario came at Mega Mawile with Power-Up Punch.
"Jump please," Mable said. Mega Mawile dodged by simply jumping. Mega Mawile lands back on its feet. Lucario growled and readied a Bone Rush. "Bone Rush? I see?"
"Now, let's go for it!" Korrina called out. Mega Lucario charged at Mega Mawile with Bone Rush.
"Dodge it, Mega Mawile," Mabel said. Mega Mawile dodges from left to right. Mega Lucario tries to land a hit, but misses every time. "Atta-"
"Korrina, don't get carried away!" Sora called out. Korrina looked at Sora and she understood what she meant, and she remembered the last time Lucario Mega Evolved.
"Iron Head," Mabel ordered. Mega Mawile lands a hit with Iron Head. Mega Lucario lands on his knees.
"Lucario, no!" Lorrina exclaimed. "I need you to listen to what I tell you to do, okay?" Mega Lucario stands back up. He grits his teeth in anger.
"Looks like Lucario's aura is going to lose control again," Clemont said.
Lucario then glared at his opponent. Korrina knew it was a bad sign.
"Lucario!" Korrina called out. "Lucario, stay with me!" Mega Lucario roared and came at Mega Mawile with Power-Up Punch. "No, Lucario!" Mabel looked right into Mega Lucario's eyes.
"I was afraid of this," Sora said.
"Calm down!" Ventus called out.
"It's no use! Mega Lucario's ears gone deaf!" Meowth said.
"Mega Lucario's aura has gone haywired!" Lucy exclaimed. Mega Lucario got close to Mega Mawile, ready to land a punch attack.
"Fairy Wind!" Mabel ordered. Mega Mawile swirls around, and sends Mega Lucario back. Mega Lucario reverts back to normal, beaten.
"Lucario!" Korrina cried. She ran up to her Lucario.
"It seems that's it. Very well done, Mawile," Mabel said. Mega Mawile reverts back to normal.
"I know you're gonna be just fine," Korrina said, holding Lucario. "Don't worry, you'll be able to control your powers in no time. Remember, that's what we came here for." Mabel and Mawile approached them. "We promise we will do our best. Please help us, Mabel."
Mabel nodded as she understood.
Not too far away, Bowser Jr and the Koopalings have arrived to Pmance Mountain.
"There they all are," Bowser Jr said. "Those do-gooders are all down there."
"I say we rush 'em now!" Morton said.
"Hold on there, Morton, we need a plan of attack first," Iggy said.
"I agree. Rushing in without a plan could be disastrous," Ludwig said.
"What do you mean, Ludwig? They don't know we're here, and that's what we need, right?" Roy asked.
"Roy's right. I can magic up a ball, and roll it down their way," Lemmy said.
"I hope so, because I have to make plans to make a spa appointment for next week," Wendy O said.
"You mean, you're not gonna put some mud on that ugly mug of yours, Wendy?" Larry asked, laughing. Wendy O growled and readied her wand.
"Alright, this is war!" Wendy O growled.
"Shut it, all of you!" Bowser Jr ordered. "Morton has the right idea, but Roy is also right, because they don't know we're here, and we can make a move when they time's right." Bowser Jr chuckled as the Koopalings chuckled along with him. "Iggy, you're the smart one, you start planning!"
"Right," Iggy said.
The Koopalings huddled together, unaware of a mysterious figure in a black coat, watching them closely.
"Your plans won't succeed if I have anything to say about it," the mysterious figure said.
Meanwhile in what looks like a temple, lightning strikes nonstop. Xande along with Grogar, Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow have arrived by Xande's magic.
"The Crystal of Lightning is close to us," Xande said.
"And here I thought we were searching for some fireflies to catch," Chrysalis said with a hint of sarcasm.
"Who knew lightning without pegasi control could be so dangerous?" Cozy Glow asked.
"Only the crystal matters. Come," Xande said. The villains were about to step forward when a bolt of lightning struck their path. The source is an elderly wizard, wearing a white robe, and he has a long white beard.
"Stop what you are doing, Xande!" The wizard demanded.
"Ramuh? I see you haven't aged this much since we last seen one another all these centuries ago," Xande said. "I presume you're the Crystal's Guardian, otherwise you would not be here to stop me."
"I was made aware of your activities, Xande! You and the former emperor you serve!" Ramuh said.
"You know that old fossil?" Tirek asked.
"I do," Xande said. "I was a novice wizard when I first met him. He always looked down on me and my talents."
"It is because you were always such a great disappointment, Xande. Your old master would be ashamed of you for your misdeeds," Ramuh said.
"My old master was a fool! He always said I had great potential, but he would never allow me to express it," Xande said. "Too bad, because if he was alive, he could see the error of her judgment."
"I warned Noah of what you would become, but she ignored my advice. I will do what I should have done centuries ago! You shall find out firsthand if lightning can strike the same place twice!" Ramuh said. He waved his staff in the air and points it forward. "Judgment Bolt!" Lightning crashes down and heads towards them. Xande chuckled and forms a protective barrier around them.
"That old trick? Did you really think I wouldn't have seen that coming, old man? You haven't changed a bit!" Xande exclaimed.
"Nor have you! You will always be a brat in my eyes!" Ramuh countered. He waves his staff, and shoots out lightning. Grogar, Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow fought back with their magic, but bolts of lightning struck them. Emerging from the pillars are two azure blue serpentine dragons. They roared at the intruders.
"Thunder dragons. I thought I smelled them in here," Xande said.
"They help protect the crystal. We will not fail like the others did, Xande!" Ramuh said.
"You four! Deal with those dragons! The old man is mine," Xande said.
"You think you can order me around?" Chrysalis barked.
"DO IT!" Xande yelled.
The Equestrian villains complied and dealt with the thunder dragons. The dragons growled at the four villains. Unlike the dragons in Equestria, they spewed lightning instead of fire. Grogar, Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow weren't prepared for that. Chrysalis uses her changeling magic to transform into a female thunder dragon to drain one of them of its love, but the dragons were not fooled, and they charged right in.
Xande unleashed his fire magic at Ramuh, but he counters with his lightning magic. The fight between the two wizards rages on.
"I'll admit, you have grown stronger, but you are still no match for me, Xande!" Ramuh said.
"I'm not the child I was back then, Ramuh!" Xande countered. "And I will be lectured by you!" He teleported and appeared behind him. He blasts him with his darkness magic. Ramuh screamed in pain. He nearly fell to his knees, using his staff to keep him on his feet. "Under Emperor Mateus's service, I have grown so much stronger! Lucky for you, he isn't here, because you would never stood a chance against him!"
"His mistake was sending you instead of facing me himself," Ramuh said.
"We shall see," Xande said. "Now, to unleash one of my most powerful spells to finish you and your pets off, once and for all!" He laughed. He begins to chant in an ancient language. Ramuh understood it perfectly.
"No, you mustn't cast that spell!" Ramuh warned.
"Too late!" Xande said. He snapped his fingers. "Meteor!" Meteors come crashing down. The Equestrian villains and thr thunder dragons were caught in the crossfire. The dragons were killed by the meoteors while Grogar, Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow have all formed their own barriers around themselves. They held on until the spell has ceased. No signs of Ramuh were seen.
"You think you could have warned us if you were going to do that?" Tirek roared.
"Be grateful that you are still breathing. If the emperor hadn't ordered it, I would have finished you off myself," Xande said. "It seems not even Ramuh survived. That is of no consequence to me. We have a Crystal to retrieve." They made it to the crystal chamber, and sitting there is a purple crystal in the center of the chamber. Xande retrieves the Crystal of Lightning. They returned to Mateus, awaiting them for their return. "The Crystal of Lightning, my lord."
"Excellent. With the Crystals of Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Ice, and Lightning in our possession, only the Crystals of Light and Darkness remain. It may take some time to find them. Be ready," Mateus said.
"As you command, my emperor," Xande said, bowing.
Back on Pomace Mountain, Mabel leads the group to a small room. Bonnie noticed the flowers inside.
"Pretty flowers," Bonnie said.
"Thank you. I picked them myself," Mabel said. "And since they're so beautiful, I figured I should have Korrina and Lucario make an arrangement for me." Korrina was slightly confused.
"I'm sorry, but I think our time would be much better doing some training," Korrina said.
"No need to be so hasty," Mabel said. "Would you all like to make some flower arrangements too?"
"Wow! Really?" Bonnie asked.
"We can do it?" Kairi asked.
"Of course, but I'd like you to do it with your Pokémon partners," Mabel said.
"Dedenne, yay!" Bonnie cheered.
"Some of us here don't have Pokémon partners, so that singles us out," Sly said. The Digimon, Bentley, Murray, Carmelita, the Panda King, and the Fairy Tail wizards all agreed that they didn't have a Pokémon with them.
"I think we can make the time to do that," Sora said.
"I thought you weren't good at gardening, Sora," Ventus said.
"I'm not, but I might as well try it, and no painful weeds to pick," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua got started on arranging the flowers.
"They're such beautiful flowers," Karen said.
"Pika!" Blossom said.
Karen and Blossom are arranging magenta and indigo flowers.
"I love so flowers so much! Let's use lots of flowers!" Bonnie said. She and Dedenne are arranging pink and white flowers.
"We'll make the biggest arrangement of all!" Ventus said. He is using white flowers, making it taller than the others.
"Pikachu!" Sparky said.
"And we'll make ours the best one!" Korrina said. "It's a flower competition!" Lucario places a few. Clemont grinned as he and Helioptile are ready.
"The future is now, thanks to science!" Clemont said. "Clemontic Gear on!" Clemont unveiled a machine with clippers. "Data from every work of art since the beginning of time has been inputted. This device possesses the ultimate artistic taste! Its name? Flower Arranger One!"
"Flower Arranger One?" Aqua asked, having a bad feeling about it.
"You're really good with coming up with obvious names," Bonnie said.
"What's he trying to pull?" Gray asked.
"Clemont is an inventor, so he invents things," Agumon answered. "Let's hope this one goes smoother than the last time."
"What do you mean smoother?" Lucy asked.
"When it happens, you'll get it," Agumon said.
"I want you to witness the future of flower arrangement!" Clemont said. He pushes the lever down. "Power on!" The clips activates. Helioptile hands the machine the blue flowers.
"Wow, that's cool!" Natsu said.
"A neat-o gizmo!" Happy added.
"I am very impressed," Erza said. "You show great potential, Clemont."
The machine starts to malfunction, moving too fast for Helioptile to catch up.
"And here it comes," Agumon said.
"Uh oh! Oh no! It appears that my flower arrangement from the future doesn't know when to stop arranging!" Clemont exclaimed. The machine then explodes. Everyone is covered with smoot. Their flower arrangements are destroyed in the explosion. Sora's hair is blown into an afro.
"Okay, raise your hands if you saw this coming a mile away!" Sora said, raising his own hand. Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair Bonnie, Agumon, Gabumon, Veemon, Wormmon, Biyomon, Palmon, Hawkmon, Tentomon, Armadillomon, Gomamon, Patamon, and Gatomon all raised them in the air.
"I think I know what you meant earlier, Agumon," Lucy said.
"Aye," Happy added.
"I thought you said he was a good inventor," Wendy said.
"No, I didn't. I only said he's an inventor," Agumon said.
Everyone got cleaned up and they tried again. Mabel arrived and she smiled as she inspects the flower arrangements.
"Well done, everyone. Your arrangements are a reflection of your personalities," Mabel said.
"Thank you, ma'am," Terra said.
"Pikachu," Thor added.
"From your arrangements, I can see the bonds you all share with each one of your Pokémon. Especially Kairi and Angel here," Mabel said.
"Thanks," Kairi said, smiling.
"Your grandma did say you have a green thumb, Kairi," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
This Kairi blush as red as Guilmon. Mabel inspects the one Korrina and Lucario has made.
"It seems you and Lucario have made two arrangements in one," Mabel said.
"That's right! It's pretty, huh?" Korrina asked.
"Yes. From this arrangement, I can see that you have similar personalities and understand each other deeply," Mabel said.
"Yup. We've been together since we were little, so we're connected!" Korrina said. "We have such a strong bond."
"Car!" Lucario said.
"I see," Mabel said. "Well then, I look forward to impressive arrangements tomorrow." Everyone were caught off guard by her proposal.
"You mean, we're arranging flowers again tomorrow?" Aqua asked.
"No way! What about all of our training?" Korrina asked.
"No need to be hasty," Mabel said. "For now, I look forward to tomorrow."
Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, and Clemont all hung their heads and sighed.
On the next day, the group got ready to go and pick flowers for them to arrange.
"Alright, off we go," Clemont said.
"So, off to pick flowers again, huh?" Natsu teased.
"Hey, you wouldn't be laughing if you had to do it at a regular basis, Natsu," Sora said.
"Be careful out there," Mabel said.
"We will," Sora said. Sora looked at Meowth. "You're coming with us, Meowth."
"Yeah, yeah," Meowth said, following the trainers and Pokémon.
"Maybe we'll find the prettiest flowers," Karen said.
"Yay!" Bonnie cheered.
"Hey, wait up!" Korrina called from behind.
"Korrina?" Mabel asked. Korrina and Lucario stopped and turned to Mabel. "I hope you notice how beautiful the mountains are. Especially with your partner, Lucario." Korrina and Lucario looked at each other.
"Mountain views?" Korrina asked.
"And if you do, I'm sure something wonderful will happen," Mabel said.
Korrina and Lucario left as Erza approached her.
"I hope you don't mind if I ask, but what does flower arranging have to do with anything?" Erza asked.
"It's to teach Korrina that a human and a Pokémon have different views, but they have to accomplish the goal together. The same for the others as well," Mabel said.
"I see," Erza said. "It's a test to see their connections."
A little later, Korrina and Lucario went off to find the necessary flowers for her own arrangements. They explore the mountains.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, and Eclair, they were picking the flowers they needed, but the wild Pumpkaboo attacked them with a Shadow Ball.
"Whoa!" They all exclaimed.
"What was that?" Sora asked.
They all looked around and they see the Pumpkaboo hovering down at them.
"A Pumpkaboo!" Ventus said. "But it's way bigger than the one Kairi has!"
"It's a Super Pumpkaboo!" Clemont said.
"Super?" Sora asked.
"Pumpkaboo varies in four different sizes. The one Kairi has is an average Pumpkaboo, and that one is a Super Pumpkaboo," Clemont explained.
"Okay, I'm caught up," Sora said. He took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Fennekin!" Fennekin came on out to battle. "Use Ember!" Fennekin fired Ember at the Super Pumpkaboo, but it dodges and then fires Razor Leaf.
"He's using a Razor Leaf!" Kairi gasped.
"Eevee!" Angel added.
"Dodge with Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Fennekin dodges with Quick Attack. "Ember!" Fennekin fired Ember at the Super Pumpkaboo, landing a hit. "Use Flame Charge!" Fennekin lands a hit with Flame Charge, building up her speed. The Super Pumpkaboo fired another Shadow Ball. "Dodge!" Fennekin dodges greatly due to her enhanced speed. Fennekin then unleashed Psybeam, landing a hit.
"Fennekin just used Psybeam!" Karen said.
"Fennekin! Use Psybeam again!" Sora ordered. Fennekin fired another Psybeam, landing a hit. "Ember! Full power!" Fennekin fired another Ember, turning it into a huge ball of fire. The Super Pumpkaboo was struck by the fire attack, and brought down. Sora was impressed by that Pumpkaboo's power, so he took out a Pokéball and threw it. The Super Pumpkaboo flowed inside. The Pokéball wobbles around violently. They hoped the Super Pumpkaboo would stay in. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off asking him if he wants to keep the Super Pumpkaboo with him. He chose to send the Super Pumpkaboo to Professor Oak's lab. "Looks like I got my own Pumpkaboo."
Back to Korrina and Lucario, they look at the forest below them.
"Wonder what she meant by something wonderful," Korrina pondered. She looked at Lucario. "I just don't understand." A flower petal blows in the wind. They turned to see the mountain behind them.
Everyone returned to Mabel's house and they got to arranging again once they've gotten the flowers they needed. Mabel was pleased by their efforts.
"Everyone did great today," Mabel said. "And I'll be looking forward to even more wonderful arrangements tomorrow."
"Tomorrow too?" Ventus asked.
"Yes. Tomorrow and the day after," Mabel said.
"But we've had enough of arranging flowers!" Korrina exclaimed.
"Don't say that. I want to see the beautiful flower arrangements that you and Lucario make when both your hearts are one," Mabel said. "Please?"
Of course they couldn't refuse her, so they reluctantly went along with it.
In the passing days, the group were making flower arrangements, Pokémon and trainers alike. Bowser Jr and the Koopalings were growing impatient.
"Okay, since you're in charge, how are we gonna get to them with her there all day long?" Larry asked.
"We're gonna have to make our move now!" Bowser Jr exclaimed.
"Right!" All the Koopalings all said.
Mabel and Mawile were bringing their guests some refreshments. She notices Korrina and Mawile. She hands the tray to Mawile.
"Mawile, won't you take these for me?" Mabel asked. Mawile nodded and complied with her. Mabel goes up to Korrina and Lucario.
"This is so weird. I wonder why grandpa insisted that we come and visit Mabel in the first place," Korrina said. She looked at the moon. "The moon looks the same we were separated all those years ago. You ended up lost, and I went crazy looking for you. It took me ten days to find you, but I never gave up."
"My, what a beautiful moon," Mabel said. Korrina and Lucario turned to Mabel standing behind them.
"Mabel?" Korrina asked.
"It's alright," Mabel assured. "You needn't worry. You're almost there. Soon you'll be able to control Lucario's aura during Mega Evolution."
"Control his aura? Are you finally going to teach us?" Korrina asked.
"I've been teaching you all along," Mabel said. Korrina and Lucario are both surprised. "The reason I asked you to look at the mountains together and make all those flower arrangements was because it was the most effective training for the two of you. What's most important to me is the way the two of you perceive things. You and Lucario are obviously very close. The two of you think and act alike. That's why Lucario used moves without your command and made his own decisions during battle. And both of you were alright with that. Trainers and their Pokémon are partners. While they may work together towards the same goals, their roles are quite different. You see, although you both may be looking at the same thing, perhaps you're viewing it differently." Korrina and Lucario looked at the moon. "One heart, two viewpoints. You have to bring them together and transform that into strength. There's no doubt in my mind the two of you can do that."
"One heart, two viewpoints," Korrina said. Bring them together."
Just then, a cannonball hits the window, startling the group. Korrina, Lucario, and Mabel were just as surprised.
"We're under attack!" Renamon exclaimed.
Everyone all ran outside as Korrina, Lucario, and Mabel made it to the entrance.
"What happened?" Korrina asked.
"Something broke through the window!" Kairi said.
"And I have a bad feeling someone is here!" Sora said.
"And how right you are!" A voice called out. Everyone turned to see Bowser Jr and the Koopalings.
"Bowser Jr!" Sora exclaimed.
"Did you think I forgotten about the last time we met, you spiky-haired geek? I sure haven't!" Bowser Jr said. "So now, we're here for some payback!"
"Don't count on it, you little delinquent," Carmelita said, pointing her blaster at them. "Looks like I'll be adding destruction of private property to your list of crimes."
"Sora, you know them?" Lucy asked.
"Yeah. Bowser Jr and the Koopalings. If they're here, then I'm going to guess Bowser senior is here, too," Sora said.
"You're welcome to try it," Bowser Jr said. He took out a whistle and an army of Koopa Troopas, Koopa ParaTroopas, Hammer Bros, Boomerang Bros, Fire Bros, Ice Bros, Sledge Bros, and other Koopas. Some of the Koopa Troopas don't have shells, but they wore white shirts and yellow capes. And there are some Koopa Troopas wearing intimidating spiky armor and spiked helmets. "But I doubt it'll do you any good!"
"So, they brought an army with them," Sora said. Natsu cracked his knuckles as he grinned.
"Looks like we got a fight on our hands!" Natsu said.
"Aye, sir!" Happy said.
"We can take care of those shellbacks!" Gray said. Erza draws her sword.
"To defile this mountain is an act I will not allow to go unanswered," Erza said. Lucy took out one of her Zodiac keys. The Digimon and the Cooper Gang stepped forward.
"We're ready," Bentley said.
"Time to crack some skulls!" Murray said.
"Agreed," the Panda King said, going into a karate pose. "It will be a good night to die with honor."
"I'm getting fired up now!" Natsu exclaimed.
"I'll do my part!" Wendy said.
"So will I," Charla said.
"Let's do this thing," Bentley said.
"Attack!" Bowser Jr ordered. All of the Koopas charged, except for the Koopalings. Sora and Kairi have let out Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Gallade, Sora's Lucario, Gardevoir, Pumpkaboo, Amaura, Vulpix, and Vivillon to join in. "The Super Koopas can attack in the air with the Koopa ParaTroopas, and the armor of the Koopatrols will protect them! This should be fun!" Natsu's fist emits fire.
"FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST!" Natsu shouted, knocking some of them into the air. The Koopas were all screaming in pain. Several more comes for him. "Haven't had enough, huh? Good, because there's plenty to go around!" He swings his arms around with flames coming from his hands. "FIRE DRAGON WING ATTACK!" The Koopas all scream with pain as they went flying.
"Ice-Make Hammer!" Gray shouted, slamming the ground, hitting several of the Koopas. Lucy swings her key around.
"Open! Gate of the lion! Loke!" Lucy called out. Loki appears as he adjusts his glasses.
"Hey there, beautiful. A good night for a date, isn't it?" Loke flirted.
"No time. We got some bad guys to take care of," Lucy said. The Koopas charges at them.
"I faced worse than them, but alright!" Loki said. His glows. "Regulus Impact!" He sends them flying. Lucy took out her whip and she swings it at them. They're struck hard by the whip.

The Digimon launched their attacks, hitting the attacking Koopas.
"Sky Dragon Roar!" Wendy shouted, unleashing her air breath attack. They all literally get blown away. Erza is fighting them with her bisentō in her Robe of Yūen armor. The Cooper Gang makes good efforts as well as the Pokémon and the Panda King. Morton eyes Murray and how he manages to take them all on.
"Dibs on the hippo!" Morton said, running towards Murray. "Hey, pinky!" Murray turned to see Morton marching towards him. "You and me! I'm in the mood for a hippo burger!"
"Hippo burgers aren't on the menu! But instead, I can give you a knuckle sandwich, courtesy of the Murray! And you may want to make that to go!" Murray said.
"Bring it on, fat boy!" Morton dared his opponent. Murray made the first move, giving him a punch in the face. Morton responds by giving one of his own.
"This has got to end!" Korrina said. Lucario nodded with agreement. "Mega Evolve!" Korrina made her partner Mega Evolve. Mega Lucario got ready to fight. "Power-Up Punch!"
"Wendy! Rings! Lemmy! Ball!" Bowser Jr ordered. Wendy O and Lemmy waved their wands, sending out a red and white ring, and Lemmy unleashing a yellow ball with an orange star. They struck Mega Lucario on the mark. Mega Lucario's aura goes up.
"Mega Lucario's losing control again," Karen said.
"Not good," Bonnie said.
"Lucario!" Korrina said. Mabel places her hand into her own. She turned to her.
"I have faith in you," Mabel said. Korrina nodded.
"Lucario!" Korrina called out. "One heart, two viewpoints. I've got to pay close attention to what's going on and help Lucario however I can." Mega Lucario attempts to attack, but Korrina stood in his path. Mega Lucario charges at Korrina as she crosses her arms. Mega Lucario bit her in her right wrist. "Please listen to me. One heart, two viewpoints. Remember that?" Memories of their time together flashes through Mega Lucario's mind. He remembered everything they've been through right up to this point. "We've got to bring them together and transform that into strength." Mega Lucario has let Korrina's words sink in. "Our hearts are one. Let your aura take over your body." Mega Lucario has gained full of his aura.
"Save the mushiness for later! Larry, Ludwig, Iggy, Roy! Now!" Bowser Jr ordered. Larry, Ludwig, Iggy, and Roy waved their wands and sends out their magical attacks at the group. Mega Lucario blocked their magical attack with Bone Rush. Mabel smiled.
"I knew you will gain control, Korrina," Mabel said in her thoughts. Bowser Jr growled as he stomped his feet on the ground.
"That's it! I got this myself!" Bowser Jr roared. He spewed a flame attack at the group.
"Block it!" Korrina called out. Mega Lucario blocked his flame attack.
"Get that thing! Stomp it on the ground!" Bowser Jr ordered. The Fire Bros threw fireballs at Mega Lucario. Korrina sees the fireballs coming. The Ice Bros threw snowballs at him.
"Reflect them!" Korrina called out. Mega Lucario reflects the fire and snow, sending them back to their owners. Bowser Jr growled in anger and turned to Morton, still fighting Murray.
"Morton, stop playing with that hippo and help us!" Bowser Jr shouted. Morton gave Murray a push.
"Can't play anymore. I got work to do," Morton said. Morton turned, but Murray tackled him.
"The Murray never runs from a fight. It ain't over till the fat lady sings!" Murray said.
"Then she better got on stage!" Morton said, taking out his wand. He swings it around and he zaps the hippo with it.
"Coward!" Murray cried in pain.
Morton rejoined his comrades as the seven Koopalings prepared their wands.
"Now!" Bowser Jr shouted. The Koopalings waved their wands and all launched their magic at them. Mega Lucario reflects them with Bone Rush. "I won't let that slide!"
"Neither will we," Mabel said. "Mega Evolve!" Mabel got Mawile to Mega Evolve. "Fairy Wind!" Mega Mawile unleashed Fairy Wind, hitting the Koopas, coming their way.
"Palms of Thunder!" The Panda King shouted, slamming down on them. The Koopatrols were struck hard with his palms.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered.
"Angel! Use Swift!" Kairi ordered.
"Thor! Thunderbolt!" Terra ordered.
"Eclair! You as well!" Aqua ordered.
"You too, Sparky!" Ventus ordered.
"You as well, Blossom!" Karen ordered.
The Pikachu and Eevee all launched their attacks, shocking and striking the Koopas. Mega Lucario then unleashed Aura Sphere, striking some more of them.
"RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!" One of the Koopatrols shouted. All of the Koopas started to retreat.
"Hey! Get back in there, you wusses!" Bowser Jr shouted. A dimensional rift opens up and the Koopas go right through it. Bowser Jr growled. "You nerds got lucky this time, but we'll be back! Count on it!" Bowser Jr and the Koopalings follow them inside. With the fight over, the two Mega Evolved Pokémon reverts back to normal.
"Hey! Get back here!" Natsu shouted after them.
"Let them go, Natsu! We won," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"He's right. We haven't seen the last of them," Erza said.
Back in Team Shadow HQ, Bowser Jr and the Koopalings returned when Bowser stood, waiting for his son to return.
"Your plan of attack didn't go well, son?" Bowser asked.
"Those guys fought dirty! And I fought even dirtier! But they still whooped our shells!" Bowser Jr said.
"We'll get them next time, son! Especially if Mario is there with them!" Bowser said.
"Yeah!" Bowser Jr said.
On the next morning, the group got ready to go on.
"Thank you for everything," Korrina said. "We're real glad we came here to see you."
"You're most welcome. Remember, although you're now able to control Lucario's aura, you must continue to work hard and improve," Mabel said.
"Right! We sure will!" Korrina said.
"I guess this is goodbye for now, Korrina," Sora said. Bonnie tugs his arm.
"Aren't we all going to the same place?" Bonnie asked.
"We are," Kairi said. "Sora has to challenge her at the Gym, and don't forget that Chan Lee and Will are going to be there, too."
"Kairi's right," Clemont said.
"Also they can control his aura now," Aqua said.
"And that means Sora will have to train harder," Ventus said.
"You got that right, Ven," Sora said. "Korrina isn't going to make it easy for me, so I need to be ready."
"I understand, Sora. Then, we'll see you there," Korrina said. She skates her way to the Gym. "See you later!" Lucario followed her back.
"Bye, Korrina! Bye, Lucario!" Bonnie waved.
"See ya there!" Ventus added.
Now that Korrina and Lucario have learned to control his aura, she heads back ahead of the group to the upcoming Gym battle. And the group are joined by six more familiar Digimon friends, but the question that remains is, who is that hooded figure from before? Is he a friend or foe? Just wait and see as we press on forward.
