Episode 557: Clown to the Dogs
A few hours after leaving the camp, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, Team Natsu, the Digimon, the Cooper Gang, Carmelita, and the Panda King continued onward, unaware of Matthew following them.
Just before they get close enough, the group are approached by a young man wearing a spiky red hair and wearing a black leather jacket. He also wore blue jeans with tears at the legs, and black boots.
"Been looking for an easy challenge; and you look like an easy challenge. You in for a match," the punk guy said, pointing at Sora.
"How do you wanna do this?" Sora asked.
"Let's make this a one-on-one match!" The punk guy said, taking out a Dusk Ball. "Unless you're afraid you're going to lose!" Sora took out a Pokéball and held it.
"Be careful for what you ask for, man," Sora warned.
"Move in, Scrafty!" The punk guy called out. His Scrafty emerged from inside, ready to battle.
"Go! Lucario!" Sora called out. Lucario came out, also ready to battle.
"Scrafty! Use Fire Punch!" The punk guy ordered. Scrafty came rushing at Lucario with Fire Punch.
"Lucario! Double Team!" Sora ordered. Lucario made several copies of himself. Scrafty lands a punch, making the copy fade. "Great! Use Force Palm!" The other copies vanished and Lucario came at Scrafty with Force Palm.
"Use Zen Headbutt!" The punk guy ordered. Scrafty charged at the aura Pokémon.
"Use Bone Rush!" Sora ordered Lucario came at Scrafty with Bone Rush, landing a hit. "That was great."
"You got lucky, kid!" The punk guy exclaimed. "Scrafty! Zen Headbutt again!" Scrafty came running at Lucario with another another Zen Headbutt.
"Aura Sphere!" Sora ordered. Lucario forms Aura Sphere from his palms and sends it right at Scrafty.
"Scrafty! Use Hyper Beam!" The punk guy ordered. Scrafty fired Hyper Beam, canceling out Lucario's Aura Sphere, and resulting in an explosion. Both Fighting Types skids backwards.
"You okay, Lucario?" Sora asked. Lucario nodded. "Great. Use Force Palm!" Lucario rushed towards Scrafty and gave the hoodlum Pokémon a push with Force Palm. "Wrap it up with Bone Rush!" Lucario lands a hit with Bone Rush, sending Scrafty flying. Scrafty lands on its stomach. It struggles to get back up, but fell on the ground, beaten.
"I lost?! No way!" The punk guy exclaimed. "You must have cheated!"
"I didn't cheat. I gave it all I had, just the same as you," Sora said.
"Just who do you think you are?" The punk guy asked.
"The name's Sora," Sora said. The punk guy gasped in shock.
"Hold on! Your name's Sora? As in Sora Ketchum, the trainer who won the Unova Pokémon League? I had no idea who you were!" The punk guy said. "No way, I'm gonna battle you again!" He started to run.
"Hey, come back here!" Natsu called out.
"Let him go, Natsu. He's got nothing to do with us," Terra said.
A little further, Munchlax manages to catch up at last. Munchlax then starts running faster and faster.
Back to the group, they kept on walking as the Munchlax dashed pass them and then stopped in front of them.
"What is that?" Lucy asked.
"A Munchlax," Ventus said.
"Hey, that's the Munchlax we bumped into a while back," Meowth said.
"You sure, Meowth? It might be a different one," Clemont said.
"Munchlax, Munch, Munch, Munchlax, lax," Munchlax said.
"That's him. He just told us he's been lookin for us ever since we left that mountain of food for him," Meowth said.
"You mean, that thing's been following you for a another handout?" Gray asked.
"Munchlax are known for their appetites, but I never would have imagined one being obsessed with a certain kind of food," Aqua said.
"Munchlax," Munchlax said, holding out his hands.
"Um," Kairi said. Munchlax kept his hand out. Angel stepped in front of Munchlax and growled at the big eater Pokémon.
"Kairi isn't going to give you a free handout!" - Angel subtitle. Munchlax gave Angel a punch, moving her out of the way. Munchlax came running towards Angel.
"Angel!" Kairi gasped. Angel dodges before Munchlax got closer. "Angel! Use Headbutt!" Angel lands a hit with Headbutt. "Use Iron Tail!" Angel swings her tail and lands a hit onto Munchlax. "Use Swift!" Angel unleashed Swift, but Munchlax held his ground. Munchlax comes running at her again. "Quick Attack!" Angel dashed towards Munchlax, dealing some damage. "Iron Tail!" Angel swings her tail again and lands a hit onto Angel, dealing some more damage. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it. Munchlax flows inside and wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball confirming the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box goes off asking her if she wants to keep Munchlax. She chose to send Munchlax to Professor Oak's lab.
"Good catch, Kairi," Sora said.
"He's right. Nice catch," Agumon said.
"Thank you," Kairi said, smiling.
Not too far, Muggshot's operations carries out. Doberman gaurds are armed with machine guns with flashlights. Two gaurds are standing beside a cell as Kid Klown and several other people inside.
"Let us out of here!" A woman demanded.
"You'll be sorry!" A girl shouted.
"Shut up!" One of the guards yelled. "I'm not telling you again!"
Outside of Muggshot's base, Officer Jenny arrived alongside her Manectric.
"This is the place where the disappearances are taking place. Better get the entire police force down here," Officer Jenny said. Just then, a stream of silk struck Manectric. Officer Jenny turned to see her Manectric struggling to get loose. "Manectric!" She turned to see an Ariados with a black, white, and gray mechanics on its face. Black mechanics are on its spinnerets and legs. "A Malefic Pokémon." The Malefic Ariados fired another shot of silk at the policewoman, tangling her up. Kefka then danced his way to the policewoman and he laughed.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here? A police lady. And another one to throw in a cell," Kefka said, chuckling. He whistled. "Here doggies. Put these two in a cell along with the others." The dog guards came and took Officer Jenny and Manectric to the holding cell. "Good dogs."
A little further back, the group were making their way towards Shalour City.
"It's much, much closer now," Gaomon said.
"Yeah, it won't be long now," Bentley said.
Just when they were getting closer to their next destination, they hear something. The group went to investigate the cause and they found Muggshot's base.
"What's going on down there?" Bonnie asked.
"I don't know, but there's something familiar about it," Sly said.
"What do you mean, Sly?" Sora asked.
"I might have to take a much closer look," Sly said, taking out his binocucom, and peeks downwards. "It's got loads of dogs on guard."
"I have a bad feeling about this," Bentley said.
"What would a bunch of dogs be doing down there?" Clemont asked.
"Well, they're not chasing squirrels, that's for sure," Sly said. "Wait a minute, I see something." Through his binocucom, Sly sees Muggshot walking out on his fists. "As I live and breathe, it's Muggshot."
"Muggshot? Lemme see those!" Carmelita said, taking the binocucom from the raccoon's hands. "I'll be dipped! It is Muggshot!"
"How in the world did he get here?" Murray asked.
"You know him?" Sora asked.
"We do," Sly said.
"What do you know about him?" Sora asked.
"Muggshot, alias 'Two-Gun Tony,' also known as 'Meat-Head' Muggshot. 7 foot 3 inches, 300 and 24 pounds, wanted in 7 countries with 13 outstanding warrants for his arrest," Carmelita said.
"Wow… you sure know a lot about the criminals of your turf. Now I'm really glad I'm on the good guys side now," Meowth said.
"I can't believe that buffoon was one of my colleagues in crime…" the Panda King grumbled.
"What you mean by that big guy?" Natsu asked.
"In the past when Sly Cooper was a child I did terrible things…" the Panda King paused, "my former colleagues was Muggshot, Raleigh a spoiled frog, Mz Ruby an Alligator that has a mastery with the ancient voodoo Magic and the worst of all is the mastermind, Clockwerk, an ancient owl covered with metallic body is the personification of evil. He was the one who was responsible for the extinction of the Cooper line," the Panda King explained, leaving most of the group shocked.
"Wait so you're saying he," Lucy paused.
"Yes, he lived over the centuries and eliminating the entire Cooper family, and left Sly alive as the only Cooper to witness his superiority," the Panda King said.
Team Natsu have mixed reactions: Lucy and Wendy covering her mouth with their hands in shock Erza, Gray, and Natsu was mixed with anger and sadness.
"His main source of his immortality was his hatred and jealousy of my family," Sly said.
"Just like Valiant," Sora said in his thoughts.
"So what happened with the evil owl?" Happy asked.
"Thanks to Cooper and Inspector Fox, he no longer poses a threat to anyone. I finally retired from the life of villainy and tried to live a normal life with my daughter but an evil general kidnapped her and forced to marry her," the Panda King explained.
Erza burst in anger.
"UNFORGIVABLE!! HOW DARE THIS GENERAL FORCES A INNOCENT LADY TO A MARRIAGE LIKE THAT?! WHEN I FIND THAT FIEND ILL TEACH HIM A THING OR TWO!!" Erza exclaimed in rage.
"You're right, Erza. Thats not how to treat a lady," Kairi agreed.
"Eevee Vee!" Angel nods in agreement.
"You're so right, sister," Carmelita agreed. The Panda King fake coughs making the girls blushing in embarrassment after the outburst.
"Our apologies, Panda King. Please continue," Erza said.
"As I was saying, after my daughter got kidnapped I was exiled and become a monk living in seclusion. Then the Cooper gang found me, and Sly wasn't according of my participation, and I didn't wanted to be involved in any of his affairs. So we made a deal. He help me rescue my daughter and I would join on his affairs. After the successfully rescue I finally got in terms with Sly and found my inner peace," the Panda King explained.
"So, mortal enemies becomes allies, huh," Erza said.
"That's awesome glad you see the errors of your ways and use your skills to help people," Lucy said.
"You may have been an evil jerk in the past, but that's not who you are now. You are an amazing fighter," Gray said.
"Yeah, and not to mention your Flame Fu attacks are awesome, and your daughter must be very lucky to have a father like you," Natsu said, smiling at him.
"Aye, despite your size and fierceness there is a big softie inside of you," Happy said.
"Don't worry, big guy, I'm glad we're in the company of a kind friend," Wendy said.
"Not to mention a reliable as well," Charla added.
After hearing the praising words Panda King bowed in front of them.
"Thank you, fellow young warriors. You're kind words means a lot to me," the Panda King said.
"So, how did he get here? That's the question that's on my mind," Wormmon said.
"He's right. You think he got here through a dimensional rift just like we did?" Veemon asked.
"Somehow, I'm leaning towards that," Sora said.
"That can't be good, can it?" Karen asked.
"Pikachu," Blossom said.
"If it brings out the wrong kind of people, then that'll be a big no," Sora said.
"So, how are we gonna get to Muggshot before they see us?" Terra asked.
"Freeze!" A voice shouted. They all turned to see a guard dog, pointing his gun at the group. "Try anything, and you're dead!"
Just then, Matthew knocked out the guard dog.
"Go! Now!" Matthew said.
"Who are you?" Sora asked.
"No time to explain. Just go and take care of those guys," Matthew said.
Before Sora could ask what was his name, Gray took him by the arm.
"Sora, let's go! Now!" Gray said.
"Right," Sora said.
Just then, a sleek, humanoid creature with blue and black skin. Its arms and legs end in points and have no distinct digits. It has a triangular head with two long, jagged, lightning bolt-shaped antennae. Its red eyes are set in an angry expression and it moves in a jerking, twitchy motion. More of the same creatures came darting out.
"Unversed, this I don't need," Matthew said. Just then, a humanoid Unversed with predominantly blue skin. Its hands are silver and end in three-fingered claws. Its head is diamond-shaped and sports two short horns on either side of it. Its red eyes are set in a sorrowful expression and symbol shaped like a heart that expresses emotion is emblazoned on its chest. Few more of the same creatures emerge as well. "Okay, let's go!" The Unversed all attacked Matthew after he drew out his Starlight Keyblade. He lunged at the Unversed in kind.
Down to the dogs, they were getting set as Guilmon made the firing shot.
"Pyro Sphere!" Guilmon shouted. A red fireball struck the dogs.
"Where did that come from?" One of the guards asked.
"From us, chumps!" Murray said, grabbing him, and giving the guard dog a sock in the face. Muggshot recognized the pink hippo and growled in anger.
"You!" Muggshot barked. He spotted Bentley taking on the dogs as well. "And you, too! I still owe that beating I promised ya back in Holland! No use running away this time; not ya could!"
"Hey, Muggshot, how's prison treating you?" Bentley asked.
"The food there stinks, and you're about to be broken down even more than ya already are!" Muggshot said, taking out his guns. Just then, a slash came from out of nowhere and the guns are cut in half, leaving only the hilt and trigger. It turns out to be Erza's handiwork.
"You're nothing but a coward if you go after those who are weaker than yourself," Erza said.
"Nobody calls me a coward and walks! And that goes for youse!" Muggshot barked as he came after her. Sly placed his beret in Muggshot's path. He knew he couldn't hurt Muggshot with his cane, but he knew what might hurt him. Muggshot stepped on it, causing an explosion. He goes flying backwards. "What a ride." The Panda King helps him on his feet. Muggshot was shocked to see him again after so long. "Panda King? Don't know what are ya doing here, but it's a good thing you're here! Give those chumps a thrashing!"
"I'm afraid not, old friend," the Panda King said, giving him a toss. Muggshot stood up, pissed off.
"What gives! Don't tell me you switched sides, Panda King!" Muggshot barked.
"Indeed, Muggshot. The villain you once associated with is no more! My mind is much clearer, and I am filled with peace and serenity," the Panda King said.
"I don't know what ya just said, but if you wanna be six feet under, than I ain't gonna stop ya! I'll just help ya get there!" Muggshot said, running towards the Panda King.
"Booming Chop!" The Panda King shouted, chopping at Muggshot.
Over to Lucy, she swings her gold key around.
"Open, Gate of the Golden Bull! Taurus!" Lucy shouted. A magic circle appeared as Taurus erupted from the ground.
"Moo! Lucy, good of you to call me again! How about a smoooch?" Taurus asked.
"Save it for later, Taurus. Right now, there are some bad dogs who needs a trip to obedient school," Lucy said.
"You can on me, Lucy!" Taurus said, swinging his axe, sending the dogs flying.
"Ice-Make Hammer!" Gray shouted, slamming an ice of hammer on the ground.
"Sky Dragon Roar!" Wendy shouted, firing a powerful tornado from her mouth.

Lalamon, "Seed Blast!"
The Digimon all launched their respectful attacks, striking the dogs.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, and Eclair, they were dealing with the dogs as well when a blast of fire erupted from them, but it wasn't from Natsu. It turns out to be Mabel from Team Flare.
"You're with Team Flare, aren't you?" Sora asked.
"I am. I take it you're Sora Ketchum. You were the one who gave Aliana a hard time back in the Glittering Cave a while back," Mabel said. "I owe you for what you did."
"And who are you?" Karen asked.
"The name's Mabel, and like Aliana, I'm a scientist of Team Flare," Mabel said.
"Are you working with Team Shadow?" Kairi asked.
"Team Shadow? Not a chance. Those guys aren't even worth my time," Mabel said. She took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Houndoom! Come out!" Her Houndoom emerged from inside. Aqua stepped in.
"Don't think you're going to get away with this, Mabel," Aqua said.
"Pikachu," Eclair said.
"And what makes you think you can stand up against me?" Mabel asked.
"I know I can," Aqua said. "Eclair! Use Quick Attack!"
"Houndoom! Use Fire Fang!" Mabel ordered. Houndoom came charging at Eclair with Fire Fang.
"Dodge and use Surf!" Aqua ordered. Eclair summons a tidal wave of water and sends it at the dark Pokémon. Houndoom is struck by the water attack, dealing some heavy damage. Mabel growled in anger.
"How dare you," Mabel growled.
"Sora, you deal with the rest of them! I got this witch!" Aqua said.
"You got it, Aqua!" Sora said.
"Sora!" Tentomon called out as he buzzed to Sora. "I heard one of the guards say they had a key to the cells! I'm going to guess we aren't the only ones here!"
"That could only mean, they're hostages," Terra said.
"We'll have to help them out," Sora said.
"First we need that key," Kairi said.
"She's right," Karen agreed.
"Got ya covered," Sly said, jumping in front of them and showing them the key. "Nicked it out from one of them while he wasn't looking."
"Glad you're on our side, Sly," Meowth said.
"I also got word from Bentley about where the hostages are located. They're inside the place with guards all around," Sly said.
"Sly, you'll have to head inside and free the hostages," Sora said.
"On it like glue," Sly said, running. He ran towards the base and snuck inside. He quickly switched into a disguise and walked down the hall.
Kefka sees the commotion going on and he laughed.
"It looks like a party is going on, and I wasn't invited? Talk about rude," Kefka said. "Looks like I'll have to crash this little shindig. Ready or not! Here I come!" Kefka leapt forward, cackling. He flips towards the action. He lands right in front of Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Ventus, Terra, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, and Thor. He grinned. "Oh, so you're what the fussy-fuss is all about. You're that Sora kid. You look well."
"Who are you?" Sora asked.
"The name's Kefka! Kefka Palazzo, at your service! And I wanted to say that you have been a real pebble in our shoes," Kefka said. "And it gets really annoying when that happens."
"What do you want, clowny?" Bonnie asked.
"Oh, that's a good question, little girl," Kefka said, stroking his chin. "How about..." he pauses, "...grinding you into paste for getting in our way!" He took out an Ultra Ball and threw it. It lets out a Kantonian Mr. Mime, but has a white mechanical mask over its face, and black mechanical gloves. The Malefic Mr. Mime grins very evilly. "Okay, Mr. Mime! Malefic Wall!" The Malefic Mr. Mime creates an invisible wall, surrounding the group.
"What did you do?" Ventus asked.
"Just surrounded us with an invisible wall, made my Mr. Mime here. So, you have no choice but to battle me right here, and lose!" Kefka said, laughing.
"If anyone's losing, it's going to be you, Kefka!" Sora said. "Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Pikachu unleashed Thunderbolt at the Malefic Mr. Mime. Thunderbolt struck the Malefic barrier Pokémon, but it did so very little damage.
"What part of non-Malefic Pokémon can't beat Malefic Pokémon didn't you get?" Kefka sarcastically asked. That made Sora growl.
Over to Aqua and Mabel, the battle between them continues on.
"Eclair! Use Thunderbolt!" Aqua ordered. Eclair fired Thunderbolt right at Houndoom.
"Dodge and use Feint Attack!" Mabel ordered. Houndoom vanished and lands a hit onto Eclair.
"Hang in there, Eclair!" Aqua said.
"Give it up, girl! You're no match for me!" Mabel said. Aqua growled.
Over to the Panda King and Muggshot, the fight between them continues on as Muggshot took out two more guns and aimed them at him. The Panda King jumped as Muggshot started firing. Bullets went flying, striking some of Muggshot's henchmen.
"I don't get why Clockwerk ever bothered putting ya in the Fiendish Five, but I told him you were too nice for your own good! And you're gonna wish ya stayed retired!" Muggshot barked.
"And you are going to wish you stayed in jail," the Panda King said. The Panda King smacked the guns from his hands and moved in to give him the final blow, but King Hippo grabbed him from behind.
"I was wondering when you were gonna show up, Hippo!" Muggshot said.
"Unhand me, buffoon!" The Panda King demanded.
"Do what he says, big boy!" Murray said. King Hippo turned and looked at the pink hippo. "The Murray is calling you out!" King Hippo snorts and he ran towards Murray. Murray then ran towards King Hippo and he threw the first punch. King Hippo felt that, but he punches Murray hard. He wiped the blood from his lip and he grinned. "Is there a breeze? I felt just felt a draft."
"RAAAHHH!" King Hippo roared giving Murray a barrage of punches. Murray took the last punch in his hand and he gave King Hippo an uppercut. King Hippo's crown goes flying in the air and lands on the ground. King Hippo goes down so hard, the ground shook when he tumbled.
"Once again, the Murray has triumphed!" Murray proclaimed.
"I am once again grateful for your assist, Murray," the Panda King said.
"Ooh, I'm gonna pound you into pink paste!" Muggshot said. Muggshot was about to let Murray and the Panda King have it when Muggshot is zapped and then frozen.
"That'll keep that dog quiet for a while," Gray said.
Inside the base, Sly strolls on through. One of the guards stopped and barked at the disguised raccoon.
"Hey! Where do you think you're going?" The guard asked.
"Just checking on the prisoners," Sly said, disguising his voice.
"Who cares about the prisoners? There's a brawl going on outside," the guard said.
"Muggshot ordered me to check on the prisoners, just in case anyone tries anything stupid," Sly said. The guard flinched as he knew what would happen if Muggshot is questioned.
"If it came from the boss, then who am I to say otherwise. You do exactly that," the guard said. The guard went off to join the fight as Sly continued on.
"Bentley, I'm walking down the hall, so which way do I go?" Sly asked.
"Okay, there should be another door on your left, and from there, you will see a door on your left," Bentley said.
"So, it's left, left, left, right, left?" Sly joked.
"Hardy-har-har," Bentley scoffed. "Putting all jokes aside, from that door, there will be an elevator, so use it to go down, and make it to the basement."
"And that's where I'll find the hostages," Sly said.
"Bingo was his name-o," Bentley said.
"And you said my jokes are bad," Sly said. He breaks contact as he went to the first door on the left. He sees the other door, and he enters inside, and he spots the elevator. He walks over to it and he presses the down button. He enters inside. "Going down." He pushes the basement button and goes down. He patiently waits as elevator music plays in the background.
Back outside, Sora stood his ground against Kefka.
"Pikachu! Use Iron Tail!" Sora ordered. Pikachu ran towards Mr. Mime and swings his tail at the Malefic Pokémon. Mr. Mime just grinned.
"Malefic Punch!" Kefka ordered. Mr. Mime lands a punch, dealing a super-effective hit.
"Pikachu!" Sora gasped. Kefka laughed loudly at the dilemma Sora was in.
"You should see your face when you went 'Pikachu'! That was historical!" Kefka said, laughing some more.
"When Sora does beat you, you're not gonna be laughing for long, Krusty!" Ventus called out to Kefka.
"Don't be so sure, me little bucko. Malefic Pokémon are the next best thing!" Kefka said.
"Why would you make Malefic Pokémon?" Terra asked.
"Those Pokémon are all innocent creatures, so why would you do such a terrible thing to them?" Kairi asked. Kefka laughed once again.
"It should be pretty obvious, kiddies! We wanted to win," Kefka said. This left them outraged.
"You did this to Pokémon just so you can win?!" Sora exclaimed angrily.
"Duh!" Kefka said in a stereotypical stupid voice. "You see, every time you come and play, you always win, and that got boring. So, Ein came up with an idea, and we set the game to Easy Mode, and how easy it was. Ein's brain came up with our new toys and we sent them right at you. The only difference is, it's the toys that are going to break you instead of the other way around."
That made Sora angry. Sora found that absolutely unforgivable.
"You monster!" Sora roared.
Back to Aqua and Mabel, the battle continued on. Eclair was on the ropes. Houndoom snarls as Eclair pants in exhaustion.
"Finish it off with Feint Attack!" Mabel ordered. Houndoom came at Eclair again.
"Eclair!" Aqua gasped. Eclair hears Aqua's voice and light blue electricity erupts from her body and she dashed at Houndoom, giving her opponent several hits, leaving behind some sparkles. Eclair then does a pirouette with the electricity, giving Houndoom extended damage. She then unleashed an orb of light, striking Houndoom hard, resulting in a knockout. Aqua was surprised by what she has witnessed. "Eclair..."
"Pikachu," Eclair said weakly. Mabel calls Houndoom back and scowls at the bluenette.
"You haven't seen the last of me, girl! Team Flare will get even with you yet, Aqua!" Mabel said. She took off.
"I'm counting on it," Aqua said.
Back inside, Sly saw the two guards and approached them.
"I can take it from here, guys. You go take a break," Sly said. The guards bought it and took off.
"Look, whoever you are, just know you're under arrest," Officer Jenny said.
"Relax, I'm on your side," Sly said.
"And how can we be certain?" Kid Klown asked.
"Because I swiped one of their keys," Sly said, unlocking the lock. He switched into his regular outfit. "Get going before they come back! Take the stairs!" Not needing to be told twice, the people started to comply, not questioning the talking raccoon.
"Thanks for the help," one of the male hostages said.
Just when the hostages were fleeing, firecrackers starts going off. Just then, Blackjack appeared before them.
"Nobody's going anywhere," Blackjack said.
"And you would be?" Sly asked.
"That's Blackjack. He's a space pirate where I come from," Kid Klown said.
"Looks like that idiot Muggshot can't keep a leash on his mutts," Blackjack said.
"Muggshot was always dumber than a bag of hammers; so that'll be his own fault he didn't ask his goons to give me a password," Sly said.
"I know who you are. You're Sly Cooper. He told me all about your first rumble in Mesa City a while back," Blackjack said. "Muggshot must have been pathetic if he lost to a scrawny rat like you."
"Lucky he didn't hear you say that, because he would just use you as moving target practice for that statement," Sly said.
"You think I'm afraid of that stupid dog? Not in the slightest," Blackjack said.
"So, you and Muggshot running with Team Shadow and the Brotherhood of Darkness now?" Sly asked.
"Why does that matter to you, raccoon? How about we cut the talk and cut to the chase?" Blackjack suggested, holding a bomb.
"Everyone back!" Sly said.
Back to Sora and Kefka, Pikachu was being beaten by Mr. Mime as Kefka continued to laugh.
"Oh, what fun this is! But all the fun has got to end! Finish that yellow rodent off now!" Kefka ordered. Mr. Mime came to finish off Pikachu. Matthew, having to already have finished off the Unversed, rushed to the rescue. He drew out a Cybertronian weapon and fired it at the barrier. The invisible wall shattered as he drew out two guns and fired at the Malefic Mr. Mime and struck Kefka.
"Ouch!" Kefka yelped. He glared at the hooded figure. "Hey! Who the hell do you think you are spoiling my fun?!"
"Call back your Pokémon, or else I will kill you right now!" Matthew said, gripping his guns.
"Wait, nobody's killing anybody! Who are you?" Sora asked.
"Now's not the time," Matthew said.
"Whoever you are, you're gonna be sorry for that!" Kefka said.
"Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" Natsu yelled, punching Kefka in the face, sending him flying. He struck the wall, and broke through it. "Hey, clown, you know what's funny? You getting hurt!"
"Thanks for the save, Natsu," Sora said.
"Anytime, kiddo!" Natsu said, smiling. Natsu then
Back inside, Sly, Kid Klown, and Blackjack kept on fighting. Sly was making good work of his skills with his cane.
"Okay, Cooper! Get ready to be blown to bits!" Blackjack said. Just then, Kefka goes through the wall, much to everyone's surprise. Natsu came rushing in with flames erupting. His body emits fire as he rushed Kefka.
"Fire Dragon Sword Horn!" Natsu shouted, ramming into Kefka sending dragging Blackjack into the mix.
"Ooh, you play too rough," Kefka wheezed.
"Good work, Natsu," Sly said.
"Thanks," Natsu said.
Officer Jenny walked over to the two clowns with handcuffs.
"You two jokers are under arrest," Officer Jenny said. Suddenly, the lights go off for a second, and they're gone.
Outside, a flash of light erupts from out of nowhere, temporarily blinding everyone. The light fades to see King Hippo, Muggshot and his crew were gone as well.
"Where did they go?" Gomamon asked.
Unknown to anyone, it was Xande who has extracted the villains. He grinned, satisfied that his work is done, and he vanishes.
The hostages all ran outside and started to head off for home as Sly, Natsu, and Kid Klown all walk out.
"Sly, Natsu, where did Kefka go?" Sora asked.
"No idea," Sly said.
"Everything went dark and then the bad guys were just gone," Natsu said.
"Same thing, but the only difference was, it was a flash of light," Sora said.
"I suspect someone is behind this," Erza said.
"I'm thinking the same thing," Bentley agreed. "And I have a feeling that hooded figure has something to do with it."
"Wait, where did he go?" Clemont asked.
"He must have taken off while we were blinded," Terra said.
"Just who was that guy?" Lucy asked.
"I don't know, but I have a feeling we're going to see him again," Sora said.
Over to Team Shadow HQ, Kefka is unconscious from Natsu's assault as Muggshot, King Hippo, and Blackjack rejoined the Brotherhood of Darkness.
"Looks like we lost again," Risky Boots said.
"Perhaps, but now we have a new enemy. According to Xande, he was helping out Sora and his friends," Ganondorf said.
"Just who is he?" Dr. Nefarious asked.
"Who cares who he is? That jerk will be eating dirt when I get my hands on him!" Muggshot said.
"The dog is right. Thanks to his meddling, we now have a much harder fight," Gruntilda said.
"Indeed, Gruntilda. We will have our chance with them again," Ganondorf said.
Back in Kalos, Kid Klown stood before the group.
"Thanks for the help, you guys," Kid Klown said.
"So, who are you, and where did you come from?" Meowth asked.
"Right. Everyone calls me Kid Klown. Kid Klown of the Klown Kingdom!" Kid Klown said with a salute.
"A kingdom of clowns?" Gray asked.
"That explains why he looks so funny," Veemon said, laughing.
"Anyway, how did you get here?" Kairi asked.
"I was sent by King Klown on a mission to find Blackjack and bring him in. There were rumors that he was running in with a really bad crowd," Kid Klown explained.
"And I have a good idea who," Karen said.
"The Brotherhood of Darkness," Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Meowth, the Digimon, Team Natsu, the Cooper Gang, Carmelita, and the Panda King said at once.
"Kid Klown, I think we might have a common problem," Sora said.
"Really?" Kid Klown asked.
"Yeah. So, I think it'll be a good idea for you to come with us for a while. That way you can tell us what you know about Blackjack," Sora said.
"Okay, and I could learn what I can about this Brotherhood of Darkness," Kid Klown said.
With that, Kid Klown joined the group as they were getting near Shalour City and Sora's next Gym battle against Korrina. How soon will Matthew reveal himself, and what other surprises awaits the group afterwards? Just wait and see what happens soon.
