Episode 562: Valiant Rides Again!
We take a look at an undisclosed location as a helicopter makes a landing. Valiant steps out and he took out a pair of binoculars. He pushes a button as several drones comes flying out of the helicopter and starts their search.
Meanwhile in a forest just a little while after Sora has recruited Tyrunt to the team, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, the Digimon, and Team Natsu all made a stop to rest. Sora has let out Quilladin, Fennekin, Froakie, Tyrunt, and Bunnelby as Kairi has let out Vulpix, Spritzee, Swirlix, Vivillon, and Pumpkaboo for Kairi to feed them.
"Here you go," Kairi said, laying down the food for the Pokémon. They happily ate the food provided to them.
In the meantime, the Fairy Tail wizards were awestruck to hear how a Digimon's Digivolution differs from Pokémon evolution.
"You're kidding. All of you can do that?" Lucy asked.
"We can," Gabumon said.
"Digimon can go through different changes to Digivolve. Agumon, Gabumon, Veemon, Guilmon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Patamon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, Gaomon, Lalamon, Wormmon, Terriermon, Lopmon, and Renamon are all Rookie level Digimon while Greymon, Veedramon, Growlmon, and I are Champion level Digimon," Gatomon explained.
"Rookie, Champion?" Wendy asked.
"You're a Champion level Digimon?" Happy asked Gatomon.
"I am," Gatomon said.
"They can go even higher than that. They go into Ultimate level, and then, Mega level. And Mega level's the highest we've seen," Ventus said.
"Who would have thought you would grow even bigger and stronger than that?" Lucy asked. "Levy would be bugging you guys on how it works."
"Well, we can even combine into one Digimon at times. So far, only me and Gabumon have ever pulled it off," Agumon said.
"And how many times have you done that?" Erza asked.
"Twice. It was when we fought Myotismon and AxeKnightmon for the final time, and again when we fought Unicron and the Decepticons," Gabumon said.
"Now I hope we would never have to use it again," Agumon said.
Meanwhile on Mount Coronet, a couple of nerdy teenagers have arrived to a spot where the fight between good and evil took place. For some reason, they were wearing brown robes. Storm clouds gathered, making it the perfect for the ritual.
"This is the spot," one of the nerds said.
"I dunno, Stevie. I don't think it's gonna work at all," the second nerd said.
"Don't be such a wuss, Ziggy. This will be our chance to get even with those jerks once and for all. We just need to get it right," Stevie said. "Now, we just have to get ready."
The nerds began to set up their equipment and they took out a book on how summon demons, and evil spirits into the world. The computer turned on.
"All set, Stevie," Ziggy said.
"Here we go," Stevie said. He cleared his throat. He began to chant in an ancient language. Ziggy had no idea what he was saying. He continues the chant as lightning crashes down on the mountain. The winds then starts to blow. The more Stevie chanted, the more the weather conditions gotten stronger. "Come forth, one who was wrongfully dammed! Come and breathe the breath of life again, and live again!" Lightning struck the ground where the nerds have been performing the ritual. Just then, the computer started to go haywire and bits of data started to gather. A scream is heard as the bits of data was slowly taking shape. "It's working! It's working! We have done it! We have done it!" It was revealed to be Myotismon, back from the dead.
"Where am I?" Myotismon asked. He looked around and saw where he is. "Of course. Mount Coronet." He sees the two teenagers. "You!" Myotismon went and grabbed Stevie. "Tell me what has occurred here?"
"There was an epic fight that happened here, and so you were killed! So, we brought you back to life!" Stevie said.
"How long have been gone?" Myotismon asked.
"It was quite a while ago," Stevie answered. Myotismon realized that he has lost the war, and the Digital World is at peace. He was going have to change that once he gets there. "And now that we brought you back to life, you will have to serve us!" Myotismon just laughed.
"Are you serious? You think I am going to willingly serve you? I should be grateful for my resurrection, but I am to begin anew," Myotismon said. He threw Stevie at Ziggy. He calls forth numerous bats. They fly around him as he vanished. Myotismon laughed as the bats flies off of Mount Coronet.
"Great! The one guy I was sure that was gonna help us, and he shits on us," Stevie said.
The bats flies through the skies of Sinnoh as Myotismon's laughter echoes. Myotismon made a stop in Hearthome City and he sees the news of Sora battling Diantha and he grinned. "The Kalos region. Perhaps I shall exact my revenge on Sora Ketchum first." He vanishes again as the bats flies around him again.
Aboard the SMASH Tower, an alarm goes off as Alia checked into the situation.
"That's odd," Alia said.
"What's odd?" Layer asked.
"I'm picking up some strange reading. It's coming from Mount Coronet," Alia said.
"You don't think it's another dimensional rift, do you?" Pallete asked.
"I don't know," Alia said. He makes contact with the rest of SMASH. "Attention all SMASH members! Unknown detected on Mount Coronet! We need a small squad to look into it!"
"On it!" Fox said. "Star Fox, to the Arwings!" Falco, Slippy, and Peppy got into their Arwings and they locked in the coordinates and flew down to investigate. Upon arriving, Slippy took out a device and scans the surrounding area. "So, Slip, anything?"
"Something did happen here, and just recently, too," Slippy said.
"This better not be a wild goose chase. I don't want to get off of the SMASH Tower for nothing," Falco said.
"The tower did pick up something, and it never gives off false alarms," Slippy said.
"Slippy has a point, so we have no idea what's lurking around," Peppy said. The old rabbit's ears twitched when he heard something. "There!" Peppy points in the north. Fox and Falco took out their blasters.
"Show yourselves!" Falco shouted.
"Who's there?!" Fox asked.
Stevie and Ziggy puts their hands in the air.
"Don't shoot!" Ziggy yelled.
"Hold your fire!" Stevie added.
"Just a couple of kids," Peppy said. Fox and Falco holsters their weapons.
"What are you doing up here?" Fox asked.
"And what's with the get-up?" Falco asked.
"It was supposed to be a simple ritual," Stevie said. Star Fox looked at them confused.
"You might want to explain it," Fox said.
Meanwhile over the sea, the bats continued to fly towards the Kalos region. There were so many, their wings blackened the whole sky. The bats managed to reach the Kalos region at last, and he grinned evilly as he started to step forward.
"Revenge will be mine," Myotismon said.
Back on Mount Coronet, Star Fox were filled in about what had happened.
"You played around with forces you didn't understand, and couldn't really control?! What are you kids thinking?! Don't you know there's a reason why it's a bad idea?!" Peppy yelled.
"We had good intentions. We just needed help dealing with some bullies," Stevie said.
"Good intentions? I don't know about the good part, but I can tell you, it was a really bad idea," Slippy said.
"Now that we know what's going on, we better head back and report this," Fox said. The rest of Star Fox jumped into their Arwings and flew back to the SMASH Tower. "Fox to Alia, we made contact."
"What did you find out?" Alia asked.
"Okay, two kids brought an evil Digimon back to life, and now it's heading to who-knows-where," Fox reported. Alia knew it wasn't good.
"What?!" Alia exclaimed. "Return to the SMASH Tower!"
"Roger," Star Fox all said, flying back into space.
Back in Kalos, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, the Digimon, and Team Natsu continued onward, unaware of the drone hovering over them. The drone flashed and returned to Valiant.
Speaking of which, Valiant awaits for the return of his drones. The drone shows an image of the group and he grinned as he got on his speeder.
"Here I come, Ketchum!" Valiant roared.
Back to the group, Ventus and Bonnie were playing with each other as Sparky and Dedenne joined right in.
Just then, Serena have shown up and she was happy to see Sora.
"Sora," Serena said. The group sees Serena waving to them.
"Serena, hey," Sora said.
"I was hoping to see you here," Serena said.
"What brings you here, Serena?" Kairi asked.
"I was hoping, maybe, I could ask Sora to accompany me to the Pokémon Showcase later on. Aria should be there," Serena said.
Sora thought of checking out the Pokémon Showcase in Kalos, so he was curious to see how it went. He thought it would be something both he and Kairi would enjoy.
"What do you think, Kairi?" Sora asked.
"She asked you," Kairi said. "Besides, you should have a good time."
"You sure, Kairi? I don't wanna make you jealous," Sora said, making Serena chuckle nervously.
"It's okay, Sora. Besides, you can make friends with whoever you want," Kairi said.
"Well, alright, I guess," Sora said. He turned to Serena. "So, Serena, just where is it taking place?"
"Just the next town over. And it's taking place tomorrow," Serena said.
"Okay, I guess I ca-" Sora paused when he stood up. Kairi knew something was wrong.
"Sora, what's wrong?" Kairi asked with concern.
"It's him," Sora said. "It's Valiant. He's here!" Kairi knew it was anything but good. Serena was confused by what he meant.
"Valiant?" Serena asked.
Just then, the sound of engines is heard, making the youngest members stop playing. Clemont, and the rest of the group all heard it. Valiant busts through the shrubs and jumps right off. Valiant stood right on his feet.
"I was hoping I would find you eventually, Ketchum," Valiant said.
"Valiant!" Sora exclaimed.
"Did you really think you can get away from me that easily? Just so you know, there is no place where you can go and I can't find you!" Valiant said.
"Who is he?" Lucy asked.
"It's Valiant. He hates Sora and his family, so he wants to wipe them all out," Terra said.
"Why would he want to do that?" Natsu asked.
"It was because of his disgraced ancestor Garland," Aqua said.
"Garland?" Clemont asked. That's when he realized he heard that name from the story about Zest. "Wait, his ancestor was Garland?"
"Yeah," Ventus said. "And he was the one who kidnapped my aunt just to get to Sora!" That filled the Fairy Tail wizards with anger for what he did to Sora, especially Natsu. He grits his teeth in anger.
"And now, it's time to settle the score once and for all!" Valiant said. He unleashed his powers of darkness right at Sora. He uses his aura to block his assault.
"I have nothing to say to you, Valiant. You kidnapped my mom, and used her to attack me! I am never gonna forgive you for that, but I'm going to give you a chance to turn around and go back home. Gabriel is waiting," Sora said.
"Don't tell me what to do! JUST DIE!" Valiant shouted, unleashing another attack. Sora unleashed a much bigger shield. Valiant formed weapons of pure darkness and came at Sora, screaming.
Matthew took out a short sword a Pokéball symbol on the hilt, and a blue handle. He threw the sword to Sora, and he caught it, clashing it against Valiant's blades of darkness. Sora held his ground as the three blades clashed.
"A sword? Good thing I got it before he could cut me down. Where did it come from?" Sora asked. Valiant swung his his blades again, but Sora clashed against the blades of darkness. He struggled to push Valiant back, but Lucy took out her whip and used it to grab Valaint by the legs.
"Leave Sora alone! Just because of what happened to your ancestor, doesn't give you the right to just plain out attack him.
"SHUT THE HELL UP!" Valiant roared and he sends out a dark orb, hitting Lucy before she could react.
"Lucy!" Natsu exclaimed.
"You're going down!" Gray said. "Ice-Make: Cannon!" Gray shouted, making a cannon out of pure ice and fired. Valiant jumped and gave Gray an uppercut in the chin. Erza came rushing towards Valiant with her own sword, but Valaint formed two big hands and grabbed her. She was thrown back and struck a tree. He sees Wendy running towards him.
"Sky Dragon Talon!" Wendy shouted, giving him a kick. "Sky Dragon Wing Attack!" She swings her arms, making tornadoes from both of her arms.
"GET OUT OF MY WAY!" Valiant shouted, swinging and darkness energy struck her.
"Wendy!" Charla exclaimed. Natsu roared as he rushes Valiant. He gave the fire dragon slayer a punch with his fist of darkness.
"Natsu!" Happy cried.
The Digimon all went towards him, but Valiant sends them all flying and they struck the trees. Just then, Hackmon, and Herrismon attacked him. They were joined by a green Digimon. He has zigzag markings, and a white lightning-shaped horn. He has also has green eyes. He wore black clawed shoes with green markings.
"Herrismon, Pulsemon! Attack!" Hackmon shouted. "Fifth Rush!"
Herrismon, "Lightning Quills!"
Pulsemon, "Electric Rush!"
Herrismon fires his electrified quills and Pulsemon rammed into Valiant with electricity coming out of his body. Valiant was getting angrier by the assault. Sora came up to him and swung his sword at him, but Valiant forms a sword of darkness, blocking his assault. Valiant manages to push Sora off and lifted the sword to kill him, but Pikachu rushed him with Quick Attack, landing a hit. Valiant tumbles backwards.
"Enough is enough!" Sora shouted.
"It's enough when you are dead!" Valiant shouted rushing Sora. Just then, shots are fired at Valiant. Sora turned to see it was SEES right before them.
"Minato!" Sora said.
"We can talk later, Sora. Right now, we got your back," Minato said.
"Why are you backing him up?!" Valiant roared.
"Because he's our friend," Minato said. "Besides, if you mess with him, you mess with us."
"And you do not want to mess with all of us," Kotone said.
"Because if you take one of us down, you better make damn sure we don't get back up," Shinjiro said.
"Then, I'll take you all down!" Valiant shouted unleashing his powers of darkness. Just when Sora was about to activate his shield again, SEES summons their Personas, and they block out Valiant's attack. He really pissed off now. "I CAN'T STAND THIS! JUST DIE!"
"Castor! Go for it!" Shinjiro said. Castor being a skeleton, riding wearing black armor, and riding a legless skeletal horse lands a hit onto Valiant.
Just then, the Digimon and the Fairy Tail wizards rejoined the fight.
"You're outnumbered, Valiant," Sora said. "Look around you. You can't take all of us at once," Sora said.
"I can and I will!" Valiant formed a hammer of darkness and swings it down, hoping it'll kill all of them, but then, a stream of green sliced the hammer, making it disappear. Sora recognized the style and saw what looked like Zero, but he was physically different. Zero stood on his two feet. "Who the hell are you?"
"The one you have to worry about," Zero said.
"Zero?" Sora asked himself.
"I won't let this stand! I won't!" Valiant shouted as he formed a spear of darkness and threw it at the newcomer. Zero easily dodged it and grabbed it. He threw it back, but Valiant blocked his own spear. Valiant growled while enraged.
"I'm giving you a chance to stand down now," Zero warned, pointing his saber at him.
"Never!" Valiant shouted, creating a mace made of pure darkness and swung it. He sends it at Zero, but he jumped and slashed it in half, and then he gave Valiant a kick. Sora then gave Valiant a punch of his aura power, and sends him flying.
Once the fight was over the whole group stared at Zero and he wasn't sure if it was the Zero he knew or not.
"Zero," Sora said. Zero looked Sora confused.
"How do you know my name? Who are you?" Zero asked.
"Maybe I was thinking of someone who looks like you," Sora said. Zero took his leave of the group. "Wait! We didn't get a chance to thank you!"
"Don't," Zero said, taking off.
"It looked it Zero, and he has Zero's voice, and it ain't the Zero we know," Junpei said.
"And what gave you that idea?" Yukari asked. Junpei glared at her.
"Thanks for the hand, guys. What brings you off the SMASH Tower?" Sora asked.
"They wanted us to go through some tests before they sent us back down," Minato said. "Sly and the others filled us in on what was happening with you guys, so we thought we should stick with you a tad longer." Sora smiled.
"Sure thing, guys. Welcome back," Sora said.
"So, who are they?" Ken asked, referring to the Fairy Tail wizards.
"Right. These guys are from the Fairy Tail guild. Meet Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Erza, Wendy, Happy and Charla. Members of Fairy Tail, meet Minato Arisato, Kotone Shiomi, Mitsuru Kirijo, Akihiko Sanada, Shinjiro Aragaki, Yukari Takeba, Junpei Iori, Fuuka Yamagashi, Aigis, Ken Amada, Koromaru, and Metis," Sora introduced. Natsu didn't waste any time getting to know them.
"Hey, how's it going?" Natsu asked. "Any friend of Sora and Kairi's are cool with me!"
"Aye!" Happy added.
"They seem friendly," Yukari said.
"Indeed," Metis agreed.
Erza noticed the sword Sora is holding.
"Sora, where did you get that sword?" Erza asked.
"Funny you should ask me. It just came right into my hand, and for some reason, it feels right," Sora said.
"You were skillfull with that sword, Sora," Karen told her brother.
"Thanks," Sora said.
"You seem like a natural with it," Lucy said.
"Have you ever had practiced with a sword before?" Erza asked.
"Not like this one. But I used wooden swords before, but not sure if that counts," Sora said.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
"I see," Erza said. "All the same, I would like to hold on to your sword for the time being." Sora didn't hesitate handing it to Erza. She calls forth a blue magic circle and placed the sword inside it.
Unknown to them, Matthew was still watching the group and he sighed under his hood.
"Looks like things are getting more interesting than I thought," Matthew said. "It's only a matter of time before he summons his Keyblade." He calls forth a silver, red, and dark gray Keyblade in his hand. "But it's only a matter of time before they come forth. I was hoping they wouldn't." He looked up to the sky. "Even after they shown up the first time."
(Flashback)
We take a look into a town that takes place in a different world. Ash, Misty, and Brock were running with Pikachu riding on Ash's shoulders, and Togepi in Misty's arms.
"Any idea where we are exactly?" Ash asked.
"I don't know, but it looks creepy," Misty said.
"Ever since we got separated from Red, Blue, and Green, things haven't been going right for us. Also, I'm hoping for Team Rocket to show up as usual," Brock said.
Just then, a Shadow Heartless crawls across the ground, making Pikachu's ears perk up.
"Pi," Pikachu growled.
"What's wrong, Pikachu?" Ash asked.
"Pika!" Pikachu points forward.
"I don't see anything," Ash said.
"See what, Ash?" Misty asked.
"I have a bad feeling about this," Brock said. His bad feeling was confirmed when the Heartless appeared before them.
"What the?!" The trio exclaimed.
"Is that a Pokémon?" Ash asked, taking out his Pokédex. He uses it to scan it.
No Pokémon data available.
"It's not a Pokémon?" Ash asked.
Just then, several more Shadow Heartless appeared all around them.
"What are they?!" Misty asked. She placed Togepi in her backpack.
"I don't know, but something's not right about them," Brock said. The Heartless lunged at the trio, making them duck.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Ash ordered. Pikachu unleashed Thunderbolt, shocking the Heartless. They vaporate into darkness, but more started to show up. "Where do they keep coming from?"
"Get away from them, or they'll swallow your hearts!" A voice shouted. Matthew appeared and slashed one of the Heartless with his Starlight Keyblade. "Get going! Now!"
"Who are you?!" Ash asked.
"Don't ask! Just go!" Matthew exclaimed. Several more Shadow Heartless leapt towards him, but Matthew points his Keyblade towards them. "STOPGA!" Time freezes around them. "Go now!"
"You heard him, Ash! We better get going! Now!" Brock said, pulling his arm. Misty screamed. The boys turned to see much bigger Shadow Heartless appearing before them.
"They come in plus sizes?!" Ash exclaimed.
"Pika!" Pikachu also exclaimed. Matthew turned to see the giant Shadow Heartless.
"Shit!" Matthew cursed. He jumped and took out another Keyblade. He slashed the giant-sized Heartless. But more kept coming. "Get back!"
The Shadow Heartless were gathering around each other. A mixture of black and yellow is towering over them.
"What are they doing?" Brock asked.
"And how are they doing that?" Misty asked.
"Leave them to me! Just stay back!" Matthew said. He charged at the tower of Heartless and struck. The pile of Heartless swayed and knocked at Matthew, knocking his Keyblades out of his hand. He fell on his back. The tower of Heartless was about to finish him off when Matthew jumped and held out his hands. He called back his Keyblades into his hands. He crossed them and jumped at them. He slashed at the towering Heartless. Many of the Shadow Heartless were being chipped off, but Matthew was being overwhelmed by them. He started to run for his life. "Run, run, run!" Ash, Misty, Brock, Pikachu, and Togepi didn't waste any time running for their lives. They made it to a small hut, panting. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, we are," Ash said.
"Thanks to you," Brock said.
"We would have been goners if you haven't shown up," Misty said.
"Yeah, I was at the right place at the right time," Matthew said. "Anyway, I should be nice. My name's Matthew. What are your names?"
"I'm Ash, from Pallet Town. And this is Pikachu," Ash introduced himself.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"My name's Misty," Misty introduced herself.
"And I'm Brock," Brock finished. "I am curious about those creatures though. They didn't seem like any Pokémon I have ever seen."
"They're not Pokémon at all," Matthew said. The trio looked at him. "But I have to admit, those Heartless seem to be pushovers, but here, they're so much stronger than when I first faced them; especially when they're working together."
"The Heartless?" Ash asked.
"Those monsters you saw," Matthew said. "They're creatures without hearts. And they're attracted to the darkness in the hearts of any living thing."
"Why would they attack us?" Misty asked.
"They can smell the darkness you all have in each one of your hearts, so they were trying to take them," Matthew said. "Those Heartless are known as Shadows. They're the most common Heartless." He shuts his eyes.
(Flashback ends)
Matthew looked kept up the sky, thinking about the Heartless. Just how soon will the Heartless make their move against Sora and his friends? Just wait and find out.
