So... After the last chapter I felt kind of burned out and decided to take like two weeks long break from writing, before I lost all motivation to write. But, two weeks passed, some stuff happened and I felt even more drained after the break than before it. Turns out that this whole coronavirus thing did affect me in some way, despite me not being infected. I'm not going to go into details since I don't want to bore you with unnecesary explanations. Let's just say that 'life is not daijobu' and I'm trying to get this shit under control.
The comments!:
RandomReader867 - I hope that I haven't hyped up the fight too much and that you will enjoy my take on the whole encounter!
Guest - I'm not going to spoil too much, but the Endeavor of this story is not so different from the canon one. Just read and I hope it will make at least some sense ;D
Entomoid - Thank you for your opinion. I'll definitely try to change up my style a bit to hopefully make it at least a little better
GunBlade2020 - Yep, it said it all and now all the fuckiness is about to ensue!
RiceCakePlayz - I try to update as soon as I can, but it's pretty obvious that it doesn't always work out. Also, regarding Todoroki's hero name. I personally prefer Snowflame, because it just rolls off the tongue so smoothly in my opinion. It's like, two words, but you can easily say them together as one, hence why I chose this name
And now the long overdue chapter!:
Midoriya could think of only a handful other moments in his life when he was as thankful for Nana as he was now. The black haired beauty occupying the small room inside his mind single handedly took care of all of his nervousness. It's as if someone flipped as switch in his mind and he slipped into this cool persona that always acted calm and collected. No one could see his inner turmoil.
"Hey Nana, how do you actually block out my nervousness?", he asked mentally.
From where he currently stood, near the entrance that he and the others took when walking in just about two hours ago, he had a good view on the entire room. Even with almost half the called in Heroes currently absent it was packed. Courtesy of everyone running with various documents, orders or doing… anything in general. Only the sole intern was standing motionlessly, his back against the wall.
"There's a fuse box in the wardrobe. I just simply screw the fuses in there in or out depending on the desired effect. I can adjust all emotions at once, though it taxes your body a bit, but only one emotion can be completely suppressed", the woman explained, her eyes not leaving the book she was reading. Probably.
He had no idea how to check what his mental archivist was doing at any given time without delving into his own mind, which might not be the best of ideas given the situation at hand. At any given moment, someone can walk up to him and ask him a question or order to do something.
"Ha! I found you!", he had to jinx it. Well, there was nothing else for him to do anyways, so…
Midoriya turned his head to face the person that spoke to him and came face to… boob? with a Heroine in a royal blue skin-tight bodysuit. He followed the costume upwards, while trying not to blush at the fact that he just stared at someone's chest for full three seconds, and spotted a pair of blue eyes looking at him with curious expression.
The greenette took a step back to fully look at the person in front of him. The first thing he noticed was that the girl's periwinkle hair was extremely long, ending around her knees. She also had two spiral horns on top of her head. She also was shorter than him and had quite firm body, if the way her bodysuit hugged her figure was anything to go by.
He kicked himself mentally for staring once again, before his gaze wandered towards her face again. Her head was currently tilted slightly to the side and the curious expression was still present on her face. She looked kinda like…
"Nejire?!", Izuku exclaimed as the sudden realization hit him.
"That's me!", the girl confirmed and started casually floating in front of him and did a slew midair in, what he guessed was, excited manner. "Actually, how did you know who I was? Did you see me taking part in this year's Sports Festival? I hope you didn't see me last year, not my proudest moment. Still was better than Mirio losing his clothes all the time. Oh, what's your Quirk? Does it make it so you know information about people just by looking at them? Can I touch your hair? It looks really fluffy. Do you use a special shampoo? I wish mine was half as fluffy as yours!", the non-stop wave of seemingly random sentences made the young intern question whether her Quirk made it so that she didn't have to breathe while excited or something.
"I guess that's a Hado for you…", the greenette chuckled and was about to stop the periwinkle haired girl before another woman came up to them.
"Nejire, what did I say about interrupting someone's preparations?", the two Hero Course students turned to see none other than Ryukyu standing next to them.
"I really need to get in touch with Retro for some spacial awareness training… I didn't even know she was here until she spoke up!"
"Well, she's a very successful Pro Hero with a few years of experience already under her belt, it's only natural that she was able to sneak up on you without being noticed", reassured him Nana, though she didn't say a word against doing Retro's training.
The qipao wearing heroine said something to Nejire that Izuku wasn't able to catch due to him spacing out for a few seconds and was now looking in his direction.
"I try to watch her, but she managed to get away from me while I was busy assigning a few Pros to smaller teams", the heroine explained while Nejire stood behind her with a happy expression on her face.
"It's not a big deal, really", the greenette reassured and smiled. "I do know her sister, so I'm pretty used to being around overly energetic people that seem to have no need for oxygen and an automatic rifle for a mouth"
His explanation seemed to humor the heroine, judging by the way she chuckled briefly before speaking up.
"That's an awfully specific description, though it fits so well with this little troublemaker", the blonde agreed with a smile.
"Hey, hey, how do you know my sister?", the periwinkle haired woman inquired curiously.
"She works for my parents", the greenette answered truthfully and watched as Nejire's face morphed into several different expressions. From curious, to enlightened to bubbly excited.
"You are Izuku Midoriya!", she exclaimed happily and started hopping up and down.
"Blackout's intern?", Ryukyu realized and continued after he confirmed that he was indeed interning under the mentioned Pro with a small nod. "I was about to start looking for you, but didn't know exactly where to start. Turns out that Nejire saved me trouble instead of causing it", the girl in question pouted and did a half spin, her feet a few centimeters above the ground, and stopped.
"You wanted something from me?", Midoriya asked as he stood up a little bit straighter, shifting into a more serious tone.
"I mainly wanted to greet everyone under my command and give out assignments. I already split the Pros and Sidekicks between O'Clock, Air Jet and myself. You and Nejire will follow me when everything inevitably goes sideways", the Heroine informed them and walked off to talk to some other Pros, while she still had time.
As it turned out, she didn't have much time to assign tasks in an orderly fashion, seeing as not even half an hour passed since then and Midoriya was currently trying not to fall off of the Dragon Hero's back as they flew over the warzone previously known as Hosu.
It wasn't Endeavour that called for the response team however, which shocked no one, but one of his smaller squads. Most of the patrol forces were engaged by a plethora of inhuman beasts with varying appearances.
"Things really did go sideways…", the greenette thought to himself as Ryukyu started lowering her altitude.
Midoriya glanced downwards as well and spotted a few heroes battling the aforementioned monstrosities.
All four of them were clearly bigger than a normal human, which was a trait shared between all the Villains spotted in Hosu that night. They had well over two meters in height, which made Shoji small in comparison! Their whole body was covered in muscles that clearly were not for show if the amount of collateral damage on the street below was anything to go by.
But, there was something that Midoriya was not prepared to see - brains. The quartet of monsters had their brains exposed to the world and the sight made the intern thankful that he decided not to eat while waiting for the call from Endeavour's team.
He quickly shook all unnecessary thoughts out of his head and focused on the task at hand.
"Let's help them!", commanded Ryukyu and the handful of Heroes that were assigned to her squad started their descent.
Turns out, quite a few Pros with Quirks that allowed them to flight or at least glide were called in. Midoriya would have to question later why he wasn't assigned to the only ground team led by O'Clock?
Ryukyu landed her massive dragon body in front of the battered and bruised Heroes already on the ground, her right arm pinning one of the monsters to the ground. The greenette on her back used this moment to drop onto the street himself before taking a makeshift stance that Blackout tried to teach him.
With his left leg forward and arms high it looked a lot like that of a kickboxer's, but it wasn't good enough to call it one. Midoriya knew that with his smashes he would probably be better off with becoming more of a brawler, but his mentor made it painfully obvious that no Pro should be a one trick pony and a versatile fighting style would make his life easier in the future.
The greenette was caught slightly off guard as he saw that none of the creatures even flinched as Ryukyu landed and roared in their direction.
"Do they even know what fear is?!", Midoriya wondered frantically as the remaining trio charged at them. Cybrex answered in kind and ducked under the purplish creature's right hook, his right arm already reeled back. He rotated his body to the right to partially slip past his opponent before slamming the fist into its stomach. "Minnesota Smash!"
The attack was enough to make the monster take a couple of steps back, effectively isolating him from the other two. Nejire Chan used this opening to blast the beast with her spiral waves, which forced him to the ground.
"Lacquered Chains Prison!", Kamui Woods jumped at the occasion and immobilised the Villain. "Someone take him out!", he ordered and Midoriya responded quickly.
The green haired intern used Kamui's branches as jumping pads to gain altitude before doing a front flip and bringing down his right leg in a devastating axe kick. "Manchester Smash!"
His armored boot made contact with the beasts head and created a small crater underneath it. The audible crunch and its body going limp signaled that the monster was dealt with for the time being.
Midoriya took a quick glance around himself and saw that the other two creatures were incapacitated as well. Seeing this, the greenette allowed his body to relax and massaged his right arm.
"Damn… Minnesota is still a bit too hard on the arms…", he evaluated quickly and stood up straighter as Ryukyu approached him.
"Good job", she stated with a small smile and then went off to coordinate the apprehension of the four beast-like Villains.
This meant that they will be stopping for at least a few minutes. Now fully relaxed he had a chance to see the Heroes they helped out. There was Backdraft, who already started putting out nearby fires, a flaming green haired Sidekick from Endeavour's Agency.
He kept scanning until his eyes rested on a person that he didn't want to see this night. The greenette sighed and walked up to the visibly distressed Pro.
"Is everything alright?", Izuku calmly asked and Manual turned in his direction.
"It's… about my intern. He vanished the second those four beasts attacked us", the worried Pro stated and Midoriya sighed internally once again.
He knew that this was going to be a long night to begin with, but now it got a whole lot more complicated. "So Iida really is going to go after Stain, huh…?", the greenette mumbled out loud.
"Did you just stay Stain? As in Hero Killer: Stain?!", the local Hero exclaimed which gathered the attention of others around them.
"What about him?", Ryukyu immediately questioned as she walked up to the pair.
"I believe that Manual's intern and my classmate Tenya Iida ran off to avenge his brother's injury", Midoriya explained and a look of shock made its way onto the Heroine's face.
"Is he stupid or something?!"
"He just got very emotional. Ingenium was, IS, a very influential Hero that many looked up to and viewed as an idol, but his younger brother was no doubt his biggest fan. He got so lively whenever his older sibling was brought up at school…", Cybrex gave a bit of context about the situation, though he tried answering her question in his head.
And he really didn't have any strong arguments not to call him an idiot at this point.
"You are not about to run off in search of him, are you?", Ryukyu asked with a scrutinizing gaze. "We can't afford to split up and I sure as hell am not going to let you go alone"
"Blackout gave me permission to use my full power!", the greenette retorted.
"But you were put under my watch! And my final decision is I'm not letting you go off alone to god knows where!", the argument was slowly heating up and the Heroes around them observed it from the sidelines.
Midoriya knew very well that he won't be able to convince his supervisor to change her mind, so he had no other choice, but to follow his heart.
"Nana, unlock the gearbox. It seems that nothing I say is going to change your decision, right?", he asked, though the answer was crystal clear.
"No. I'm glad you accepted that", Ryukyu was about to start walking away, before she noticed a small smirk on his lips.
"I just acknowledged it", Izuku corrected and hoped that Blackout's training was enough to get him out of this mess. He had places to be afterall.
"I think that you are thinking too much into the concept", Shihai was sprawled on one of the couches in the lobby.
The Pro and his intern just returned from the patrol and were discussing a topic that Midoriya brought up during their quite uneventful walk to the agency.
"That's why I'm asking you for advice", Midoriya though was sitting in the armchair next to his mentor.
"From what I saw of your abilities, it seems that you control your power like steps in a staircase, correct?", the vividly haired man asked as he focused on his intern. The teen in question only nodded, which prompted Kairo to continue. "While dividing your output so much gives you higher level of finesse and allows for precise adjustments in your strength and speed, it also limits how fast you can get to higher levels"
Cybrex relaxed a bit in the armchair and raised his right hand to his chin. A second after that, his lips started rapidly moving, but no words came out. Shihai had a few chances to observe this habit and was honestly impressed by how complex Midoriya's thought process was. Two minutes later, the greenette seemed to shake himself out of his trance and turned to his mentor with a question.
"So what do you suggest I should do?", he asked and waited patiently as the Pro thought about it for a while.
"I suppose that your best bet would be to transition to something less flexible, but I have trouble coming up with a suitable alternative"
"How about a gearbox?"
"Well… It does limit you six or seven different levels of power, while giving you some wiggle room if you found a way to use some sort of a throttle", the man approved and smiled. "Why did you even come to me for an internship if you find all the answers on your own?!", Kairo joked and stood up from the comfy furniture.
"Because you were the only one desperate enough to contact me personally", the greenette retorted and followed his master's example.
"I wouldn't call it being desperate!", Shihai tried to deny the accusation, but his sister came in at the worst possible time.
"Says the guy that stared at his phone for twelve hours straight, while waiting for Midoriya to call him"
Kuse and Izuku started laughing at Kairo's expense, but the man himself joined them soon enough and the trio continued their plan for the day in high spirits.
"Sixth Gear!", Midoriya shouted right as Ryukyu took a step towards him. By the time she took the second one he was already on the nearby roof, yellow lightning crackling wildly around him. "Still hurts like a bitch, but I guess I just skipped five steps instead of nine… I'm sorry, but I promised myself that I won't let my classmate's get hurt if I can help it. Iida is within my reach and it's my duty to save everyone I can!", conviction was practically dripping off of his words as he spoke to the Heroes assembled on the ground.
He didn't wait for an answer, or rather didn't need one as he sprinted off. Ryukyu looked towards the ground to hide a small smile that formed on her lips. "Stupid teens…"
While the blonde Heroine was slightly impressed with what Cybrex just pulled off, Midoriya himself was in… less confident move.
"Oh my god, I just blindsided a top Heroine to fight a serial killer!", yeah… less confident was an understatement. "I'm so going to get in trouble for that later, but now is not the time to think about the future. It's time to save it!"
A task easier said than done. Midoriya prided himself in being an excellent strategist, while remaining a quick thinker and a flexible fighter. Tonight however, he seemed to just do everything on the fly.
He didn't plan to fight MONSTERS, because the four Villains from before couldn't be called humans anymore, or to run into Manual. He also didn't plan to hear that one of the most strict hero hopefuls to ever hope broke rules for a petty revenge. And he sure as hell didn't plan to fight the fucking Hero Killer!
Well, before he got to FIGHT the fucking Hero Killer he had to FIND the fucking Hero Killer first.
"Wow, adrenaline makes you swear like a sailor", Nana tried to lighten the mood with a little joke, which did have a small effect.
"Now is not the time Nana", the greenette reprimanded her, but his lips curved upwards just a tiny bit.
The situation was so grim that he might as well take every bit of positivity that he can find.
"And that should do it…", said the menacing persona currently standing in front of the wounded Iida.
"You bastard! What did you do to me?!", the teen shouted in anger as he struggled, and failed, to move even an inch. His body was completely paralyzed, but he could still speak and look around. Shame that the Hero Killer was the only thing he could see in this dark alley.
"I just made sure that you won't evade your fate like your brother managed to. Wonder how your death will affect him? Maybe it will finally show the society that Heroes need to be purged for the world to heal?!", the Villain rumbled as he unsheathed a curved knife.
"You won't get away scot free Villain!", the dark blue haired intern shouted, which prompted Stain to shine a bit more life onto the situation they found themselves in.
"You don't know what's going on in the area, do you?", he questioned and a look of surprise made its way onto Tenya's face. "The whole city is one big warzone brat! Villains are running rampant to show that those so called 'Heroes' are nothing more than fakes that seek fame and fortune! The League of Villains will show the world how corrupted today society is! A society where people are looked down on and judged for something that they had no say in. We will kill and kill and kill, until there are no more fakes, plaguing our society!", Stain made a quick pause and squatted down in front of the laying teen. "Our great crusade has started and you are going to be its first victim, boy. Let me tell you something, ain't no cavalry coming…", the Hero Killer licked his lips and raised the arm holding the curved blade.
Iida knew that he had no chances to survive a precise blow from such a short distance. Up until now all he thought about was revenge. He was so blinded by his selfishness that he forgot about his friends. And his family. God, if only Tensei could see him now. Tears gathered in his eyes as he thought about how big of a failure he was. Iida couldn't help, but acknowledge that Stain was right about him. He wasn't worthy of being a hero.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that!", a loud shout interrupted the execution as a bright yellow blur bounced from wall to wall to finally land between Tenya and the Hero Killer, who was caught of guard and jumped back to immediately put distance between himself and the new opponent.
"Another fake coming to preach about morals and whatnot…", Stain thought as he sheathed the knife and drew his sword.
"M-Midoriya? What are you doing here?!", the dumbfounded teen asked as he stared with wide eyes at the Augmented Hero standing before him in a combat stance.
"Saving your sorry ass", Izuku groaned, his eyes not leaving the stationary form of Stain for a second.
"You can give up already!", the Hero Killer taunted. "I've already defeated a Pro and a student, you are no match for me! There's no way that you will be able to best me!"
"Best you?", Midoriya inquired calmly. "I think that there was a slight misunderstanding. I'm not going to defeat you, my goal is to simply stall our fight long enough for other Pros to arrive!", the green haired intern revealed as yellow lightning arced off of his body. "I hope that my body can handle staying in third gear for an extended period of time", he thought to himself and shifted his right foot backwards. "Iida, can you move?"
"No, my body is completely frozen"
"This means that your Quirk is some form of paralysis. It clearly isn't a ranged Quirk, which means that you have to get in close for it to activate", Midoriya thought out loud and watched Stain's expression soften a tiny bit.
"I see that you are at least a little more cautious than your pathetic friend", the Villain stated as he nodded towards the laying Iida.
"Midoriya, this is my fight! It's my reven-"
"How fucking stupid can you get?!", Midoriya interrupted his classmate and did something that he probably shouldn't have even thought about. He turned in Iida's direction with a stern scowl of disappointment on his face, his back completely exposed to the serial killer. "It was never YOUR fight to begin with! You abandoned the Pro that was supposed to oversee you, which might get him in trouble and ran off to fight a serial killer on your own! And for what?! Petty revenge?! I'm honestly so mad at you right now, because I thought that you were better than this!"
The greenette ended his short monologue and silence befallen the trio. Moments later, the two interns heard laughter. They turned their attention to the grinning Hero Killer.
"What's so funny?", Cybrex questioned as he once again dropped into a fighting stance.
"I think that I might have misjudged you", Stain answered, though it didn't clarify anything, so he continued. "I thought that you were just another fake hero trying to become famous for bringing me in, but you might be a gold nugget in this shit pile that you call society!", the maniacal grin on his face was threatening to split it in half.
"You are crazy", the Augmented Hero stated and narrowed his eyes at his opponent.
"I am crazy? What about the society that idolizes a man, who made his wife go insane, killed his son and completely disregarded his other children?! If that is normal then I want to be crazy!", the grin vanished from his face as the Villain grasped his sword with both hands.
"I agree that Endeavor may not be a very good role model, but he is trying to change!", it was a broadly known fact that Touya's disappearance has forced Enji Todoroki to rethink his life choices.
Thankfully, he understood that what he was doing for almost half of his life was wrong and did everything he could to fix the things he fucked up. Todoroki sometimes spoke to his Class Rep about his private problems, because Midoriya gave of that trusty vibe. That's how the greenette learned that Shoto's mother was released from the mental asylum a few months ago and that Endeavor made sure to spend at least one day a week with her in order to mend their relationship. He also actively reached out to his older son and his only daughter.
"The world would be better without Endeavor and others like him!", the Villain retorted, visibly irritated that Midoriya was defending the current Number One Hero.
"If you deal with the symptoms, but not the cause then the sickness will return", Cybrex said back and awaited his reaction.
"People can't change! That's why all the fake heroes must be purged! That's the only way to heal the society!"
"You are just a lunatic…", the green haired intern mumbled and sighed. "For a moment, I thought that you really wanted the society to change for the better, but you want to force it!"
"I should have known that such a brat wouldn't be able to understand my point of view!", the Villain shouted and then charged forwards. Time for talking was over, their actions will have to speak for themselves.
Midoriya shook both his wrists and his gauntlets expanded, encasing his hands and forearms completely. He sidestepped the overhead slash and punched the side of Stain's sword. The blade along with his right arm was thrown to the left. Cybrex was about to follow up with a punch to the ribs, but had to quickly jump back to evade a knife that almost hit him straight in the shoulder.
Stain used the momentum of his opponents' first punch to make swivel on his left leg and make a sneaky slash at the intern.
"Not bad", the Hero Killer stated as they once again separated a bit.
This time it was the hero in training that made the first move. He kicked off straight in the direction of Stain, who was already prepared to slash at his enemy. Midoriya however had other plans. Cybrex shifted his legs midair and dug one of his heels into the ground. This maneuver caused him to ascend slightly, Stain's blade missing him by a couple of centimeters. The Villain clearly wasn't anticipating the move, which gave his opponent a perfect opening.
The green haired intern used his own momentum to perform a triple frontflip, which put him exactly above the confused Hero Killer. Right as he finished his third flip, he extended his right leg and aimed it right at the back of the Villain's head.
"California Smash!", Midoriya yelled as his armored heel made contact with its intended target.
The kick was powerful enough to send the Villain tumbling to the ground. Cybrex landed on both his legs simultaneously, which proved to be a mistake, because as soon as his feet touched the ground, his right knee gave up from under him and forced him to the ground.
"I forgot to switch up my legs", he scolded himself internally. "My body is not used to the strain of this new system…"
"I really felt that one!", Stain shouted maniacally as he slowly picked himself off the ground.
Midoriya knew that he couldn't just stop right now, so he forced himself to stand up as well.
Meanwhile, a still very much paralyzed Iida watched the whole fight, while being unable to do anything to help his friend. He felt so pathetic that he started grinding his teeth and his hands tightened into fists… And that was when it hit him.
"I can move my hands! I can also curl my toes! The effects of Stain's Quirk must be wearing off. Please Midoriya just hold on a little bit longer!", the blue haired teen thought hopefully.
Unfortunately, the universe decided not to listen to his plea, as the Hero Killer renewed his assault with newfound energy and viciousness.
The difference in skill was easily spottable as Stain read almost effortlessly Midoriya's moves and managed to land a few strong kicks on the green haired boy. That, along with the slight overuse of his augs was starting to hinder Cybrex's performance.
He still had enough energy to block Stain's swords and knives, but he wouldn't be able to keep this up any longer. Too soon, a small dagger managed to graze Midoriya's cheek, the stingy pain making the greenette hiss quietly. To his surprise, the Villain retreated and brought the dagger to his mouth before licking the blood off of the blade.
As soon as he did so, Midoriya felt his whole body lock up.
"Finally…", he heard the Hero Killer groaned. The Villain sheathed the dagger and pulled out the curved blade that almost ended Tenya's life a few minutes ago.
Iida meanwhile was able to move his arms slowly, but his movements were too sluggish to be effective in any way. He could only await the finishing blow.
The universe however, once again decided to butt in.
"I can sense Cybrex!", a male voice, that Midoriya was very familiar with at this point, shouted. The three men in the alley could clearly hear many footsteps nearing their location.
The murderer released a long sigh and sheathed his curved knife. He looked at Iida with a grim face and spoke.
"It looks like you got lucky this time, brat", he spat in front of the armor-clad hero in training and then walked up to Midoriya. "You are not like the others… I hope that one day you'll understand that I'm right", after that he started to walk away, but the intern's response prompted him to stop.
"I understand that our society is not perfect, but violence will only bring more violence. That's why I'm going to become the best hero I can, to give people someone to look up to", Stain looked over his shoulder and locked eyes with the determined emeralds of Midoriya.
"Too young, too foolish", the man stated, though there was a slightly less maniacal grin on his face and then quickly rushed deeper into the dark alley, vanishing from sight mere seconds before the Pros arrived.
Midoriya only vaguely understood what was happening afterwards, since his aug overuse has finally caught up to him and made him lose consciousness, while his locked up muscles kept him upright.
When he woke up, the sun has already risen and was probably nearing its peak for the day, indicating that it must have been around 11AM. The greenette took in his surroundings and quickly realized that he was currently in a hospital. He honestly should have known right from the start.
There were three empty beds in the room and he was occupying the forth. Midoriya looked to the nightstand next to the hospital bed and spotted his phone. He unlocked it and the first thing saw was a massive spam in 1-A's group chat.
"I probably should've sent my location to Todoroki and Jirou and not in the chat…", he groaned and decided to deal with it later.
He put the phone away and got comfortable. He laid there for a few minutes, before he heard a knock on his door. He said 'come in' and was surprised to see Eraserhead walk into the room. However, before he had any chance to question the presence of his homeroom teacher in Hosu, the man in question raised his hand, silencing his student.
"I know that you have just woken up, but there's someone that has to speak with you, it's urgent", Aizawa stated and nodded to someone that was standing just outside of Izuku's sight.
A beagle headed man walked in a moment later. He was dressed in a black, formal suit with white shirt and wore a tie that looked similar to a dalmatian's coat.
"My name is Tsuragamae Kenji, woof", the man introduced himself.
"Did he just bark?", Midoriya wondered briefly, before focusing on more important things.
"I'm the Chief of the Police Force and I would like to talk to you about the Hosu incident. Is that alright woof?", he politely asked and walked up to the bed.
"Where do you want me to start?", the greenette questioned and sat up in his bed.
"Right from the beginning if it is not too much to ask", the dog headed man answered and sat down next to the bed, before pulling out an audio recorder and setting it on the nightstand. "You can begin"
And so Midoriya told him his side of the incident, which turned out to be quite a lengthy story in the end.
At least it was over and they could leave it in the past. Right?
Right? Or left? *insert dramatic piano sounds*
This chapter is by far the longest one in this story and will probably hold this record for quite some time, it's kind of an apology on my part for taking so long to write it.
Also, it's probably still way to early seeing as we still have the final's, the provisional license exam and the work studies left in this school year, but fuck it.
There's an important decision that will have to be made in the future and I'm starting to gather some info on the matter.
There are two options A) The Flesh is Weak or B) More than Human
That's it. I'm not going to explain any of those options, just pick what you think sounds more interesting ;D (It won't change anything in the story for now, since I'm just checking which option you find intriguing)
Also, come back for the next chapter where we deal with the aftermath of Hosu and finally wrap up the Internships Arc. Crazy how much shit can go down in one week, huh? xD
