Episode 570: A Princely Rematch
Right after the talk with Kairi, Serena thought a whole lot about their talk. It was a huge load off of her mind. She sighed and she went to make contact with Shauna. She started to make an email and she wrote down what she needed to say.
"There," Serena said.
A little while later, the group were taking off for Lumiose City for Sora's fifth Gym battle, against Clemont. Sora figured Clemont is probably training by now anyway. They decided to wait and watch Serena's Showcase instead since they would like to see what Serena can do. Calem stepped out.
"You sure came at right on time, guys," Calem said.
"We wouldn't miss it, Calem," Sora said.
"Yeah, Sora and Kairi told us about the Showcase and we never got a chance to see it for ourselves," Lucy said.
"Yeah, it should be fun to watch," Junpei said.
"You're probably just saying that just so you can see Aria on stage, right?" Yukari asked.
"Shut the hell up!" Junpei snapped at her.
"Knock it off!" Mitsuru said.
"We should be here to support Serena," Agumon said.
"He's right. This is for her," Renamon said.
The group were about to head for the Showcase when they spotted a familiar face. It was Noct and Lunafreya walking towards them.
"Noct, Luna!" Sora said.
"Sora, hello," Noct said.
"Who's this guy?" Natsu asked.
"That's Noct. He's a friend of ours," Karen said.
"Cool," Natsu said.
It didn't take Noct and Lunafreya long to notice the additions to the group and the absence of another.
"Who are they?" Noct asked.
"Right. You haven't met them. The new Digimon are Guilmon, Terriermon, Lopmon, Renamon, Gaomon, and Lalamon. The guy with the pink hair is Natsu and the cat is Happy. The blonde is Lucy, the redhead is Erza, the other guy is Gray, and the other girl is Wendy, and the other cat is Charla. And this is Calem. Guys, meet Noctis Lucis Caelum, and his fiance Lunafreya Nox Flueuret," Sora introduced.
"It's nice to meet you," Noct said.
"I'm going to guess you're here to challenge Ramos into a Gym battle, right?" Ventus asked.
"I am. I already earned six Gym Badges and I only need two more to qualify for the Kalos Pokémon League," Noct said.
"Six Badges already? I just earned myself four," Sora said.
"I see that you challenged the Gym Leader and won," Noct said.
"We also saw you on television, participating in the tournament," Lunafreya said.
"I should have guessed everyone was bound to see it one way or the other," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
Sora then realized Miette, William, Helen, Sawyer, Tierno, Shauna, and Trevor had to see it at some point. He did wonder if they came across some Hisuian Pokémon same as them.
Over to Riku, he is in the middle of a battle against a female trainer. Riku has sent out his Charmander as the trainer has sent out a Graveler.
"Okay, Graveler! Use Rollout!" The female trainer ordered. Graveler rolls towards the lizard Pokémon with incredible force.
"Dodge and use Metal Claw!" Riku ordered. Charmander dodged and gave Graveler a metallic glow, landing a hit on the rock Pokémon. "Great! Use Dragon Rage!" Charmander then unleashed Dragon Rage, landing the finishing blow onto Graveler.
"My Graveler lost to a measly Fire Type Pokémon?!" The female trainer gasped. She calls back her Graveler and took out another Pokéball and threw it. "Okay, you're up now, Scrafty!" The Pokéball opened and her Scrafty emerged from inside. Riku called back Charmander and took out another Pokéball.
"Okay, your turn now, Bagon!" Riku called out. Bagon emerged from inside the Pokéball.
"Scrafty! Use High Jump Kick!" The female trainer ordered.
"Dodge and use your own Headbutt!" Riku ordered. Bagon dashed at Scrafty and lands a hit. "Use Dragon Claw!" Bagon swipes at Scrafty and lands another hit. "Use Headbutt!" Bagon lands darts towards Scrafty.
"Come at Bagon with Headbutt!" The female trainer ordered. Both Pokémon darts at each other and they collide into one another.
"Use Flamethrower!" Riku ordered. Bagon unleashed Flamethrower and lands a hit onto Scrafty, resulting in a knockout. "Good work, Bagon."
"That was a great battle," the female trainer said.
"Thanks, same to you," Riku said.
Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill were watching the battle closely and they all smiled.
Over to the SMASH Tower, the members of SMASH were trying to figure out the data of the Digimon revived in Mount Coronet.
"Who would have thought analyzing data could be so hard?" Tails asked.
"It can't be helped, Tails," Coco said. The information came right back.
"Here it is," Tails said as Myotismon's data came up. "Got it! It says the Digimon is called Myotismon. An Ultimate level Ghost Digimon. Attacks includes Crimson Lightning, Grisly Wing, Nightmare Claw, Blood Punch, Cloud Minion, and Nightmare Wave. It's the evil Digimon Sora has told us about before."
"Great. A villain they definitely didn't need," Coco said. "This guy makes Dr. Cortex look like the kid across the street, telling you to fork over your lunch money in school."
"I think Sora should know about this," Tails said.
"Agreed. Let's do this," Coco said.
Back in Kalos, as the group were sharing stories, Sora's S-Pod goes off. Sora stood up and left to answer it.
"We're in the middle of something right now," Sora said.
"Sorry to bother you, Sora, but there's something you should know about. An evil Digimon was brought back to life, and it's one you know very well," Tails said. Sora began to have a bad feeling, hoping the two-tailed fox was playing a prank.
"Which one?" Sora asked with a worried tone in his voice.
"It's Myotismon," Tails said.
"We just found out about it ourselves," Coco said.
"Man, I was hoping that vampire would stay dust," Sora said. "First the Brotherhood of Darkness comes back, and now Myotismon makes a comeback. What's next? Team Rocket reforming?"
"We don't know exactly where, but we'll keep you updated," Coco said.
"Well, thanks a lot," Sora said. "We'll keep our eyes open for him." He broke contact and he groaned. "Not going to let this ruin this happy reunion." He rejoined the others, making Kairi notice.
"Sora, what's wrong?" Kairi asked in a whisper.
"I'll explain later," Sora whispered back.
Back up the SMASH Tower, an alarm goes off.
"What now?" Tails asked.
"A dimensional rift just opened up," Pallete said.
Snake comes up behind the Reploid navigators.
"Where is it?" Snake asked.
"It's in Celadon City," Pallete said.
The dimensional rift is opened and out came a slender teenage girl of average height with a slightly light skin tone, medium-length black hair with blue reflections that is always seen tied back in pigtails, pink lips, bluebell eyes, and light freckles on both sides and the bridge of her nose. She wore a red superhero jumpsuit covered in black spots and with a black collar/turtleneck. On her face is a red mask with five black spots that are in a symmetrical design, and the waterlines of her eyes are colored black. Her earrings are red with five black spots in a quincunx pattern, and the bands holding her hair back are red ribbons, resembling a ladybug's antennas.
"Okay, where am I?" The girl asked.
Arriving in Celadon City is the Cooper Gang, Vexx, Patricia, and Silver.
"We've arrived," Sly said.
"We don't know how dangerous the newcomer is, so approach with caution," Pallete said.
"Okay, Vexx. Do your stuff," Bentley said. Vexx came out of the van and sniffed around. He looked up and ran towards a nearby building and used his claws to climb up. He spots the girl and he starts growling. The girl spots him.
"Um, nice doggy," the girl said.
"Wolf, not dog," Silver said, levitating himself and the Cooper Gang. Patricia uses her jetpack. She aims her weapon at her.
"What the world?" The girl asked in shock.
"Vexx, stand down," Silver said.
"Silver, you can sense anything off of her, can't you?" Sly asked.
"Nothing evil as far I can tell," Silver said.
"It doesn't mean we have to trust her," Patricia said.
"Hold your fire, Patty. We can reason with her," Bentley said.
"Just who are you?" The girl asked.
"For starters, how about you tell us who you are first?" Sly asked.
"I'm Ladybug," the girl said.
"Ladybug?" Murray asked.
"Okay, Ladybug. The name's Cooper. Sly Cooper," Sly said.
"Sly Cooper, huh. So, you're a raccoon?" Ladybug asked.
"Last time I checked," Sly said.
"I'm Bentley, and he's Murray," Bentley introduced.
"Silver the Hedgehog," Silver said. "You already know Patricia and Vexx."
"Are you a burglar or something?" Ladybug asked.
"And she's not asking about me being in a wheelchair," Bentley said.
Just then, a small explosion occurred, covering the whole area with white smoke. The smoke cleared and they saw Ladybug is gone.
"Where'd she go?" Murray asked.
Ladybug is seen running with a handsome and fair-skinned teenage boy with brushed-back blond hair that is swept to the right. He also has emerald-green eyes and has a rosy tint on his cheeks, nose, and the tips of his ears. He has cat eyes with green sclerae, dark green irises, and slitted pupils. His hair becomes longer and untamed, and it covers his normal ears. Cat Noir wears a textured black skin-tight catsuit with metal details. He wears matching gloves that have claws on the fingertips and boots with a hidden wedge, silver toes, and paw-shaped treads. He has a golden bell on his neck, connected to a zipper on the front of his costume, and a long belt that wraps around his waist and hangs out from the back like a tail. He wears black cat ears and a black mask to cover his face. When transformed, his ring turns black and gains a bright green paw print on its face.
"Perfect timing, Cat Noir," Ladybug said.
"Anytime. Couldn't leave you hanging," Cat Noir said. A van pulls up and the side opens. The Ninja Turtles are inside.
"Got right in time, dudes," Mikey said. Ladybug was stunned to see them.
"It's a long story. Get in," Cat Noir said.
They change back into their street clothes. The girl's outfit is a very dark gray blazer with rolled-up sleeves; the inside of the blazer is lined in white with light fuchsia polka dots, and it has black trimming. Underneath, she wears a white t-shirt with black stitching and a flower design below the collar. The design itself has pink flowers and black leaves. She wears pink rolled-up jeans and light pink ballet flats with reddish brown soles. She also sports black earrings.
The boy's outfit a white button-down shirt with an upturned collar and sleeves rolled up above his elbow, which he keeps unbuttoned. Underneath, he wears a black shirt with five horizontal stripes around the chest, which are colored, from top to bottom, yellow, brown, bright green, navy blue, and purple. He wears blue jeans and orange sneakers with white laces, and a logo of a black butterfly in a circle on the sides. On the ring finger of his right hand is ring has a thick band with a circle surface surrounded by a lining with four pointed diamond shapes on each diagonal side. In charged mode, it is black and a glowing green cat paw print appears in the circle.
"Just who are you?" Ladybug asked.
"My name's Leonardo, but call me Leo. These are my brothers. Meet Donnatello, Raphael, and Michaelangelo," Leo said.
"I'm the cute one," Mikey said.
"Really?" Ladybug asked.
"Our father is into Renaissance art," Donnie said.
"And he's a rat," Mikey said.
"The others are waiting for us," Leo said. The dimensional rift opened and they drive the van into Lumiose City, underground. The van opens to reveal ten girls and two cats waiting for them. One cat is black and one cat is white, and they both have marks shaped like cresent moons on their foreheads.
One of them is a girl who has blue eyes and long blonde hair that she wears inodango. She has porcelain skin and a slim figure. She wore a blue middle-school sailor uniform. The uniform has a blue sailor collar with three white stripes. She has a red ribbon on the front of her uniform, which she ties her magical brooch to. She has a white blouse with blue sleeve-cuffs that have three white stripes, just like the collar.
Another teenage girl who has short, dark blue hair that reaches her neck, and blue eyes. She wore the same uniform as the girl with the buns.
Another is a teenage girl with long black hair and blue eyes. She wore a gray blouse that had a black collar with red stripes on it, a red bow, a black skirt, white socks with a red stripe, and black shoes.
Another is teenage girl who fair skin and a slim complexion, though she is slightly more muscular than most of the other girls. She has big green eyes, long reddish brown wavy hair that she usually keeps tied up with a ponytail holder with two green balls, and is almost always shown wearing her pink rose earrings.
Another is teenaged girl who has blue eyes and blonde hair, preferring to wear her hair down with a simple red bow in it. She wore the same uniform as the first two.
Another is an older teenage girl with short, pale blond hair and dark blue eyes. She is s wearing masculine clothing.
Another is an extremely beautiful and delicate-looking girl of slim stature and average height, with deep blue eyes and wavy teal hair that falls just past her shoulders. She a red sailor shirt and a dark green skirt.
Another is a young adult woman who has knee-length dark green hair partly tied up in a high bun and the rest hanging down freely and red eyes. She wore a pink shirt and a black skirt.
Another is a petite girl with short dark purple hair, violet eyes, and pale skin. She wore a black turtleneck sweater, grey skirt, and black stockings.
Another is the youngest and smallest girl in the group. She has pink hair and red eyes. Like the first girl, she wore her hair in odango, though instead of the buns being round, they are styled to look like a rabbit's ears. She wore a blue uniform.
"It's about time you got back," the first girl said.
"Sorry, Usagi, we had picked up on a dimensional rift," Donnie, stepping out. The two teens stepped out of the van.
"And who are they?" The blue-haired girl asked.
"I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng," Ladybug introduced herself.
"I'm Adrien Agreste," Cat Noir introduced.
"You got here through a weird thing, too?" Marinette asked.
"We were brought here by these four turtles," the girl with the pink hair said.
"We found it weird at first, but they came to our aide when we were attacked by some monsters," the fifth girl said.
"I thought they were kappa at first, but I didn't sense anything demonic or evil off of them," the black-haired girl said.
"Kappa?" Marinette asked.
"Kappa is a creature that is known as yokai in Japanese mythology," Donnie said.
"They say that we steal souls out from people's butts!" Mikey said.
"Mikey, shut up before I kick yours!" Raph yelled.
"We don't do that, so you have nothing to worry about," Leo said.
"We didn't get to introduce ourselves. I'm Ami Mizuno," Ami said.
"I'm Rei Hino," Rei said.
"Makato Kino," Makato said.
"Minako Aino," Minako said.
"My name's Usagi Tsukino," Usagi said.
"I'm Michuru Kaiou," Michuru said.
"My name's Haruka Tenou," Haruka said.
"Setsuna Meiou," Setsuna said.
"Hotaru Tomoe," Hotaru said.
"And I'm Chibiusa Tsukino," Chibiusa said.
"You already know about us," Leo said.
"Why did you bring us here?" Marinette asked.
"Because of the monsters called the Heartless. We don't know what they are exactly, but they spell trouble," Leo said.
"Heartless?" Adrian asked.
"The monsters that we fought when the turtles came," Usagi said. "They just showed up and started to attack people."
"We don't know who's pulling the strings and why," Leo said.
"So, we came here, following some dude who's been on our radar for a while; especially mine," Raph said, cracking his knuckles.
"They started showing up in our Earth after we thwarted both Shredder and Kraang and brought the Technodrome back here," Leo said.
"Thankfully, my research on inter dimensional transit was worth it. Kraang isn't the only one who can travel from one universe to another," Donnie said.
"Also, we can form our band of superheroes to fight for truth and justice," Mikey said.
"Lay off the comic books, Mikey," Leo said. Mikey sulked and he started to order pizza as the others were talking.
A little later, as ordering a bunch of pizzas, the delivery man parks his motorcycle. He looks at the address.
"Okay, where's 122 1/8?" The delivery man asked.
"You're standing on it, dude," Mikey said from underneath, startling the delivery man said. Mikey slips out the dollar bills. "Slip them through here." He gave the youngest ninja turtle the pizzas and brought them back to the others. "Look what I got!"
"Gimmie that!" Raph said, grabbing his share as did the rest of the turtles. They started to eat the pizzas, much to the confusion of their human friends.
"Don't you ever get tired of eating the same thing all the time?" The black cat asked.
"Tired of eating pizza? Never," Mikey said, taking a huge bite. He lets out a small burp. "Oh, that's good."
Back in Courmarine City, Sora and his friends have finished having some lunch when Noct had this to ask Sora.
"Sora, if you don't mind, I would like to have a Pokémon battle with you. Before you begin your journey to Lumiose City," Noct said.
"I'm ready for anything you can throw at me, Noct," Sora said. Both trainers got into position for their battle. "Sora, let's make this a three-on-three Pokémon battle."
"Okay," Sora said.
"You may make the first choice," Noct said. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"You're going right in! Quilladin!" Sora called out. His Pokéball opened and his Quilladin came right out to battle. Noct took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Gliscor!" Noct called out. Gliscor emerged from inside and flew in the air upon entry.
"A bat scorpion thing?" Gray asked.
"A Gliscor. A Ground and Flying Type Pokémon. It's not a good match up since Quilladin is a Grass Type Pokémon," Karen said.
"Sora gotten through Type disadvantages before. Remember that battle with Bart?" Kairi asked.
"What about it?" Gray asked.
"Sora's Larvitar is a Rock Type while Bart's Falinks is a Fighting Type, and Rock Types are weak against Fighting Type Pokémon, but Sora managed to win it with Larvitar," Kairi said.
"You're right, Kairi. I remember that," Lucy said.
"Your Chespin evolved. I don't doubt it was your hard work that caused Quilladin to evolve," Noct said.
"It sure was," Sora said.
"You make the first move, Sora," Noct said.
"Thanks, I will. Quilladin! Use Vine Whip!" Sora ordered. Quilladin unleashed Vine Whip to strike the fang scorpion Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Steel Wing!" Noct ordered. Gliscor dodged and flew right at Quilladin with Steel Wing. Gliscor came too fast for Quilladin to dodge.
"Use Needle Arm!" Sora ordered. Quilladin came at Gliscor and lands a hit before Gliscor could react. "Needle Arm again!"
"Gliscor! Use Poison Jab!" Noct ordered. Gliscor lands a hit with Poison Jab, poisoning Quilladin. "Use X-Scissor!" Gliscor came at Quilladin with X-Scissor, finishing off the spiny armor Pokémon. Sora called back Quilladin and he smiled.
"Get some rest, Quilladin. You've earned it," Sora said. Noct smiled.
"That was excellent, Gliscor," Noct said. He called back Gliscor and he took another Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Conkeldurr!" His Pokéball emerged and Conkeldurr emerged from inside. Sora took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Your turn now, Braixen!" Sora called out. Braixen came out to battle.
"Since Braixen knows Psychic and Psybeam, it's a good pick for Sora," Ventus said.
"Yeah, but don't forget about those stone pillars Conkeldurr is holding, Ven," Terra said.
"Conkeldurr might know some Rock Type moves, so it'll be bad for Braixen," Gabumon said.
"Your Fennekin has also evolved. I must say, I'm getting more and impressed with you," Noct said.
"Thanks, that means a lot," Sora said.
"Conkeldurr! Use Superpower!" Noct ordered. Conkeldurr came right at the fox Pokémon with Superpower to strike her.
"Braixen! Dodge and use Flame Charge!" Sora ordered. Braixen dodges Conkeldurr's attack and charged into Conkeldurr.
"Block it!" Noct called out. Conkeldurr blocked Braixen's attack with its stone pillars. "Use Brick Break!"
"Psybeam!" Sora ordered. Braixen fired Psybeam, landing a super-effective hit. "Use Psychic!" Braixen uses Psychic to lift up Conkeldurr and then slam it on the ground, resulting in a knockout. Noct was stunned to see his Conkeldurr was taken down. He called Conkeldurr back inside.
"Rest, my friend. You battled well," Noct said.
"That was great, Braixen," Sora said. Braixen end up hugging and nuzzling her trainer.
"That was incredible, Sora. The way you battled is proof that you have raised your Pokémon well since we last battled," Noct said. "The third and final round is to decide the victor."
"I couldn't agree more, Noct," Sora said, calling Braixen back. He took out his third Pokéball as did Noct.
"Alright then. Go! Charizard!" Noct called out. His Charizard emerged from inside the Pokéball.
"Go! Frogadier!" Sora called out. Frogadier emerged from inside the Pokéball in a twirl and lands on the ground.
"Your Froakie has evolved as well it seems. Don't think just because Frogadier is a Water Type, it's going to win against my Charizard!" Noct said.
"Yeah, I know. I know you're not going to make it easy for me, so I'll make it hard for you. Frogadier! Use Double Team!" Sora ordered. Frogadier made several copies of himself, and going around Charizard.
"When you said you're not making it easy for me, you do not waste time. Charizard! Get ready for Mega Evolution!" Noct pressed his Keystone, and the energy goes into Charizard, making Charizard Mega Evolve. Charizard was now Mega Charizard X.
"Mega Evolution again," Agumon said.
"Charizard can do that, too?" Happy asked.
"Yeah. And I thought would interest you to know, Natsu, that Mega Charizard X is a Fire and Dragon Type Pokémon," Kairi said.
"Really?! Awesome!" Natsu exclaimed happily.
"Aye!" Happy said.
"Mega Charizard X! Use Fire Pledge!" Noct ordered. Mega Charizard unleashed pillars of blue flames and quickly surrounded Frogadier and the copies. An explosion, making the duplicates vanish.
"Use Aerial Ace!" Sora ordered. Frogadier ran and dashed at Mega Charizard X like a dart, landing a hit. "Use Cut!" Frogadier lands a cut onto Mega Charizard X.
"Use Dragon Claw!" Noct ordered. Mega Charizard X came at Frogadier and slashed at the bubble frog Pokémon. Use Flamethrower!" Mega Charizard X unleashes a stream of blue flames, hitting Frogadier on the spot. "Use Fire Blast!" Mega Charizard X fired Fire Blast, coming out as a blue flame.
"Double Team!" Sora ordered. Frogadier made several copies of himself again. Mega Charizard's Fire Blast struck some of the duplicates, but the rest kept on coming. "Use Water Pulse!" Frogadier and the duplicates unleashed a barrage of Water Pulse, hitting Mega Charizard on the spot. It ends up confusing him.
"Snap out of it!" Noct called out.
"Aerial Ace!" Sora ordered. Frogadier dashed at Mega Charizard X again, landing a heavy hit. The force of the attack was so great, Mega Charizard X fell backwards and results in a knockout. Mega Charizard X reverts back to normal. Noct knew Sora had won again.
"Not bad, Sora. You're so much stronger than I remember. You deserved to win after that," Noct said.
"You're stronger than I remember, too, Noct," Sora said. "If you wanna battle again, just let me know."
"I will, Sora," Noct said.
Sora and Noct had their rematch, and the results have ended up the same way. Be sure to stick around as we continue onwards.
