Hey it's me the guy-who-likes-to-forget-things-and-the-reasoning-behind-them with another chapter! Also, I fucked up! I sat down today to finish this chapter and then remembered why I was planning to release the previous chapter on the 31st of December - to wish all of you a Happy New Year!

But I forgot, so I'm going to do that right now - Happy New Year everybody! 2020 was a complete shitshow so we can only go up from here, right? Right? Please tell me I didn't jinx anything right now. Wait, why do I hear boss music?

Anyways, the comments!:

CarEnthusiast - My man, you know I appreciate you being here and giving me feedback, but I gotta call you out - I'm not a fucking alien! xD It's Martin, not Martian! I'm white not green, not that there's anything wrong with being green. I mean, I love Shrek, but I would like to stick to my current skin, thank you very much. I'm just joking of course, you made me laugh so I can really by mad at you ;D I hope that you will enjoy this action-packed chapter!

RandomReader867 - I'm pretty sure that you are the sole reason why I can function on 5-6 hours of sleep daily so... go you! Thanks for the review and stay safe yourself! At least until we figure out if this year is cursed like the previous one!

And now, the action!:

The four heroes in training were calmly walking towards their starting point. Calmly on the outside of course. On the inside however, they were all in different states of anxiousness.

Bakugo obviously recognized that they were against strong opponents and his whole hero persona was focused on being the strongest person in every room that he steps into.

Todoroki was simply determined to be the best hero he can like he promised his mom, so passing his Finals is a must.

Yaoyorozu heard Midoriya's stories about his stay at Blackout's agency and their crazy sparring session. She trusted Izuku to carry them to victory, but the odds seemed stacked heavily in their opponents favor.

Speaking of the green haired hero. He was excited to fight Blackout once again, scared of the enigma that was Martin Kravchenko and hopeful that they will be able to pass.

"Do we have a plan Nerd or are we just wingin' it?", Bakugo asked as their starting point came into view, an intersection at the far end of the fake city.

"Not so much a plan as pointers. Blackout's Quirk lets him detect and control electronic devices, so I highly suggest that you don't point your bracers at any of us. He can probably lock the firing mechanism if you try to unleash the explosion on him or Avenger, so they'll probably be useless in this scenario", Midoriya started his explanation as Bakugo grumbled.

"God, why the fuck do I have to be surrounded by annoying extras?", they heard him whisper with a scowl on his face.

"Same goes for you Momo, anything electronic can be turned against us, so you should refrain from creating anything that Blackout can take control of"

Yaoyorozu managed to fight off the blush that threatened to appear on her face at being called by her first name in front of their classmates and nodded with a determined expression.

"Todoroki, you don't use any support items and your Quirk is very straightforward so you are going to be our main source of damage against Blackout. Also, he can control the output of my augments, but we didn't test if he can completely seize control of my body. If that happens I'm counting on you to freeze me in a glacier and make sure that I won't be able to get out of it", the failsafe was necessary, since having to fight in a 3v3 would spell certain doom for the students.

The heterochromatic teen nodded, not very keen on possibly having to restrain one of his teammates, but understanding the threat of facing his Class Rep on top of the two Pro's.

"Alright everybody, let's show them that we have what it takes to be on top!", he shouted with an inspiring grin on his face as his companions cheered with him.

The sound of slow clapping turned their attention from each other to the Pro standing in the middle of the street with a smirk on his face.

"Nice speech you got there kid, would be a shame if you four were all bark and no bite now would it?", Midoriya may have had his back turned to the man and would still be able to picture that overconfident expression that seemed to never leave Kravchenko's face.

"Where the fuck is your tin can?!", Bakugo yelled, sparks already jumping in his hands.

Martin just pointed towards the sky, dragging all of their attention upwards, but there was nothing there. Midoriya's eyes widened as he grabbed Momo and threw her to the side, seeing Todoroki do the same with Bakugo out of the corner of his eye, before being slammed into by something definitely made out of metal.

"I'll be borrowing you sir", a robotic voice from within the armor as they took off towards the sky.

"Hey! It's an AI! Just like me, though certainly less advanced", Nana chimed in as Midoriya gained more and more altitude.

"So tell your new friend to let me go or something!", he shouted, trying to free himself from the suits iron grip.

Meanwhile, the remaining three students were currently chasing one of their opponents, who somehow managed to outrun Bakugo even when he used his Quirk to proper himself like a missile.

"This doesn't make any sense… How is he so much faster than us?", Momo wondered as she navigated the trash covered street on her propelled skates, Todoroki a few steps in front of her on his ice.

Martin suddenly turned into a narrow alleyway with Bakugo right on his heels. Just as his two companions were about to follow in his tracks, the Explosion Quirk user flew out of the corridor with what seemed to be a cannonball against his stomach.

He broke through a window on the other side of the street as both Yaoyorozu and Todoroki sped up to not get caught in the line of fire. Second shot came shortly after, narrowly missing the pair as they tried to stop and prepare for a fight.

The heterochromatic teen immediately used his fire to stabilize his temperature as Momo went on to create a harpoon gun and some custom harpoons to go along with it.

As Bakugo managed to crawl out of the building he was thrown into, the trio awaited for at least one of their enemies to come out guns blazing out of the narrow opening. They spaced themselves out to avoid getting friendly-fire and minimize the risk of being wiped out by a single wide-range attack.

They weren't prepared for a massive mech made out of different household appliances to walk out onto the street with what appeared to be dishwashers on its shoulders. Their doors opened in sync, showing off rows upon rows of plates.

Momo's eyes widened as she quickly put the pieces together.

"Scatter!", she yelled, dashing for the nearest cover, a concrete trash bin.

Todoroki encased himself in a massive half dome of ice, whilst Bakugo flew back into the building that he just came out of.

Not even a second later, all three shelters were peppered by a barrage of tableware. The onslaught continued for almost half a second as the dishes seemed to be replaced during a short pause. All of it was a distraction however, as a second, much smaller mech, slid around Todoroki's shelter and punched him into his own ice dome.

The teen retaliated mid-flight as his hand grazed the floor with a long ice spear that impaled the mech's left shoulder and sent it flying into a nearby building, pinning it in place.

Momo created a few smoke grenades and threw them roughly in the direction of the giant mech to cover their retreat. Bakugo caught onto her plan and detonated some of his sweat between his hands to create even more smoke.

The two grabbed Todoroki and made a run for the nearest intersection as another barrage of tableware flew right at them. The injured trainee created a thin ice wall to protect them as they retreated. He desperately needed to heat up, but he couldn't risk burning either of his companions.

Suddenly, something big was flung next to them. The object turned out to be a bluetooth speaker the size of a backpack.

"Nice try with the smoke, but this baby has thermal optics! I made them from a smoke detector crossed with an iPhone camera!", Blackout's voice sounded from the device as it started furiously beeping. "I also crossed this speaker with a mixer and some microwave internals to create a bomb!"

The Pro's maniacal cackling was the last sound that emanated from the speaker as it blew up, sending shrapnel all around the street, forcing Todoroki to bite the bullet and cover them one last time, before they managed to round the corner and avoid being shot at for the moment.

"Is even half of this shit allowed?", Kaminari wondered out loud. "I get that these are final exams, but come on! Making gatling guns out of dishwashers? Bombs from bluetooth speakers? Is he like a modern MacGyver or something?!", he yelled out in frustration.

"Modern MacGyver!", Kuse repeated as she started chuckling. "I love the comparison!", she slapped Kaminari on the back, making him stumble from the impact.

"But for real though, isn't the shrapnel thingy too dangerous?", Kirishima spoke up. "I mean, I could probably face-tank that bomb and live, but it still seems irresponsible to me"

"Kairo may be a dickhead, but he has an excellent eye for seeking out talent. He is going to throw at them as much as he needs to in order to push them to their limits. And Martin is probably one of THE smartest people in the world. He is also one of the most mentally unstable people in the world, but that just makes it all the better!", Kuse was really starting to look like Midoriya's excitable, and notably older sister- "I'm not THAT old!", with the way she was rambling out all of the information.

"Hey, aren't you related to Midoriya?", someone from the crowd asked.

"Actually, if Midoriya's hair was more vibrant, then they really could pose as siblings…", someone else voiced their opinion.

"Why don't we leave all this conspiracy theorizing to Todoroki and just focus on the match?", Tokage proposed as murmurs started really distracting her from watching the feeds.

"This is bullshit!", Bakugo yelled as he punched a wall of the store that they currently used as their hideout.

"Quiet!", Momo hissed out. "Do you want them to find us before Todoroki gets back into fighting shape?"

The blonde only huffed in response as Yaoyorozu started thinking of a plan to win their Finals. Taking out their opponents was off the table, which was obvious from their little show of force earlier. What unnerved her the most was the fact that it was only Blackout back there. Avenger seemed to disappear after entering that alleyway.

The sound of thrusters made the trio ducked into cover as the aforementioned Pro flew by. Momo waited a few more seconds after he vanished from sight before speaking to her companions.

"I'll create a drone to find the exit. It's our only chance to pass the exam", she whispered and produced the small flyer from her stomach. Her suit was damaged by a few stray dishes earlier, but it was slowly starting to repair itself. The upgrades really came in handy.

She turned the drone on and directed it towards the back entrance to the store, not wanting to immediately give away their position in case one of their opponents were looking down the street.

Momo flew around for about a minute before spotting a big arrow pointing at the exit gate. It really wasn't that hard to find actually. However, just as she was about to sever the connection to the drone, the feed was replaced with static, before a weird icon appeared on the screen.

Some strange symbols started moving underneath it and as they slowly turned into normal letters, as a message was revealed - 'I found u', it said.

"We have to run!", Yaoyorozu threw the controller aside and vaulted the counter she was crouched behind and tried to run outside with Todoroki and Bakugo in tow.

Tried being the keyword as she momentarily froze upon spotting not one, but THREE armors standing right outside the store. They shared the same design as the one that Martin initially introduced himself before the Finals started, the only difference being the color of their details.

The one he operated had red highlights, whilst these three had blue, yellow and green details. And machine guns on their shoulders. Each one trained on one of them.

Helmet of the yellow one folded backwards to reveal Martin's smug grin.

"You like them? It's my Vibrant Legion. I was tempted to call it the 'Iron Legion', but I would've been immediately sued. I still don't know how I managed to literally call myself Avenger and get away scot-free, but oh well", they weren't really sure if he was talking to them or rather to himself, but none of them dared to move. Except for Todoroki who was sneakily raising his right food off the ground.

As it turned out, not sneakily enough. A bullet whizzed centimeters away from the heterochromatic boys head, freezing him in place. Ironic isn't it?

"It's a warning shot, the next one is going right between your eyes. Now hands up or I'll pack you full of lead", Martin commanded with one of the most innocent smiles they have ever seen.

"It's not live ammo… right?", Ashido asked, but the only answer she got was Nezu's maniacal cackling, which didn't fill her with any optimism at all.

The trio started slowly raising their heads as the sound of another set of thrusters could be heard in the distance.

"Comin' through!", they heard their Class Rep yell from the sky.

The three armed armors turned their heads to the left in perfect sync before being cartoonishly rammed by a fourth one that had abducted Midoriya at the start of the exam.

The aforementioned students landed on the asphalt a few moments later with a heavy thud and a grin on his face.

"How are you guys holdin' up?", he asked casually.

"Where the fuck have you been?!", Bakugo exploded as he flew outside, Todoroki and Yaoyorozu following right after him.

"Admiring the sights from a bird's eye view", the augmented teen sassed before turning more serious. "That giant mech you fought earlier is going to be here any second so we better get moving to the exit before he adds a fully automatic cannon that uses bowling balls as ammo", Midoriya said and visibly flinched, confirming to his teammates that he was indeed speaking from his own experience.

"I mean, don't get me wrong, cannon that shoots bowling balls sounds cool as hell-"

"Language!"

"- But I sure as shit-"

"Language!"

"- wouldn't want to be shot by it!"

Blackout seemed to pull a sneaky on them and instead of an automatic bowling cannon he decided to craft a rotary grenade launcher. But it was belt-fed so the rotary part didn't really make any sense. Actually, not many things about their two opponents made any sense to the trainees.

"How do you like me now?! I made it out of a t-shirt launcher and an industrial canning machine!"

"Where the fuck did he get an industrial canning machine in the middle of a city?!", shouted Bakugo as they dodged yet another tin-can explosive.

"How's that ADS coming along?!", Midoriya shouted towards Momo who was leading their team down the street.

"Just give me a minute!"

"We don't have a minute High-Class!", the blonde shouted from the rear as he tried to blow the incoming projectile out of the sky.

Midoriya grabbed a conveniently positioned rock from the ground and threw it towards the mech, his augmented strength giving it enough velocity to detonate one of the grenades.

"I've got it!", Yaoyorozu shouted triumphantly as she slammed the device on the ground, doing a quick handstand in the process, before tipping herself forward, landing on her feet and resuming her sprint.

A suit of armor rounded a corner behind them and made a dash straight for them as Blackout's grenades were being shot out mid-flight by the ADS.

"Fuck, it's out of my range!", they heard the Pro shout being transmitted from the speakers on his mech.

Avenger seemed to also get the message as he quickly decelerated and trained his machine gun on the device, before swiftly eliminating it from the game.

However, this little maneuver managed to buy the students enough time to dive into another alleyway and lose their pursuers for at least a few moments.

"It's kinda fucking sad that the brats can only run", Miruko, who decided to stay till the end and watch all the fights even after she was done with her own ones, said with an annoyed scowl on her face. "I guess I shouldn't have expected more from them, they're just kids after all", the insult was so casual that it almost didn't elicit any reaction from the crowd of students. Almost.

"Don't you dare talk shit about our Class Rep or our classmates!", Kirishima shouted with an angry expression on his face.

"Huh, and what are you going to do if I do dare? You going to cry?", she challenged with a smug grin that was more arrogant as opposed to Kravchenko's overconfident one.

"I would like to remind you, that neither side has managed to land any substantial blows on the other party even though there are two clearly experienced Pro Heroes fighting, what did you call them? brats?", Setsuna chimed in.

"All of them are weak then. If it was me, then I would've-", the Rabbit Heroine started but was interrupted by one of her previous opponents.

"- Been held down by Midoriya alone", Kendo spoke as she walked through the crowd with an ice pack under her swelling eye.

"That brat would go down in a single kick, even if I had these dumb weights on!", Miruko declared with a cocky grin.

"You underestimate him. You can't kick something you can't catch", the orange haired girl stated, locking gazes with Miruko and not faltering for a moment.

"If you are done squabbling with each other", Principal Nezu said to get their attention, "then I would like for you to start paying attention to the match once again. I believe that we are about to witness an end of this stalemate", the rodent informed the crowd and turned to the screens once again, not waiting for any sort of answer.

"It's in the middle of the street, right?"

"Yes, it runs parallel to the dotted line, half a meter to the left"

"My left or your left?"

"It doesn't fuckin' matter"

"Are you sure it's a good idea?"

"I mean, there has to be a CPU ordering this thing around and there shouldn't be any military grade computers around so it's possible to outright fry it"

"Shut up, I think it's coming this way"

The students peered around the corner to spot Blackout's mech, wobbling slowly down the street in their direction. It seems that he wasn't satisfied with his creation, as what seemed to be a drone hangar has been placed on its left shoulder, where a dishwasher gun had been earlier.

"Come out little heroes! I've made a drone module using a few coffee machines, standing fans and a clothes dryer!", the Pro flaunted through his speakers.

"Let's bring this guy down!", Midoriya whisper-yelled as his comrades nodded.

Bakugo burst out of their cover, grabbing Blackout's attention and drawing him in.

"I'm going to flank him. Todoroki, get ready to freeze him in place once Yaoyorozu gives the signal", the heterochromatic boy nodded as his green haired friend backed out into the shadows to come up behind their target.

The mech was slowly approaching the sweet spot as it fired off everything towards Bakugo who just barely managed to evade all the shit flying his way. The clothes dryer opened and weird drones fashioned out of coffee machines and standing fans gave chase, peppering the blonde with coffee beans. Not the most lethal ammunition but would definitely hurt when fired at terminal velocity.

"Now Todoroki!", Momo yelled as she threw an EMP bomb towards the mech.

Her teammate followed up with his attack, freezing both of the mech's legs, effectively rooting it in place. The charge however was deactivated before it made contact with the chassis. It was enough of a distraction however, for Midoriya to get into position.

"Full Gauntlet!", the metallic armbands on his wrists expanded to cover up both of his hands as he cocked his fist back and then punch the ground underneath him.

His fingers curled around the thing he was looking for, so he yanked his arm, unearthing a part of the fake city's power grid. The commotion was enough to draw Blackout's attention as he watched the feed from one of the CCTV cameras mounted on the mech's back.

The green haired student let out a war cry as he made a mad dash towards the mech with the sparking cable in hand.

"Huh, nice work… kid", Kairo thought as he braced himself for the unpleasant feeling he was about to experience.

Midoriya jumped onto the mech's back and jammed the cable into the metal creation, before jumping off to avoid being shocked himself.

The robot locked up as the various appliances started short-circuiting, with both of its arms falling limply at its sides and the coffee machine drones landing on the ground, breaking upon impact.

The four students gathered in front of the mech as the appliances started disconnecting. A fridge in the middle fell to the ground, the doors flying off and landing beside it. Inside, they saw an unconscious Blackout in what looked to be a really advanced pilot seat.

"I fashioned this baby out of a household refrigerator and a tanning bed…", the blue haired Pro murmured whilst twitching a bit from the electric shock.

The students high-fived each other, basking in their little victory.

Their classmates were cheering in the waiting room, as even Miruko was somewhat content with the outcome, though she didn't really show it on the outside.

That was until the speakers came to life.

"Hey Nezu, can I bring in the Harrier? Pretty please?", if you listened closely, then you could practically hear Martin's sinister grin through the speakers.

"Hmm… Permission granted!", the principal happily answered as Kravchenko cackled maniacally before cutting the connection.

"Does anyone have a bad feeling about this?"

"We may have eliminated one of them, but Avenger is still on the loose so we should capitalise on this and head straight for the exit", Midoriya turned to Bakugo and Yaoyorozu, whilst Todoroki was looking at the sky.

"Umm, guys?", he said meekly as he spotted something moving through the clouds.

"You've gotta be kidding me Nerd! It's four against one! We can take this guy out no problem!", the explosive blonde protested immediately.

"Guys?", Todoroki once again tried to get their attention, his eyes not leaving the object that was quickly growing in size.

"I'm with Midoriya on this one, we can't be sure if Avenger doesn't have any dirty tricks up his sleeve", Yaoyorozu stated as she walked to stand next to the greenette.

"Guys", the heterochromatic boy's eyes widened as he finally was able to make out the outline of whatever it was that he spotted. And it was huge.

"Of course you are with the Nerd High-Class! I'm surprised that you two aren't sucking each other's faces off in an alleyway right now!", the Explosion Quirk user exploded.

"Guys!", Todoroki finally snapped.

"What?!", the heated trio finally turned their attention to their last teammate who was wordlessly pointing at the sky.

They looked up and their jaws went slack.

A giant airship that was easily rivalling the fake city they were in in terms of size was hovering right above the arena. Moments later, hundreds of small objects detached from the aircraft and made their way towards them.

Momo created a pair of binoculars and handed them to Midoriya, who immediately tried to identify the projectiles.

"Those are not missiles…", he murmured as he took a closer look. "Those are… armored suits…", Izuku lowered the binoculars before turning around the taking off as fast as his legs could carry him. "Run for the exit!", he yelled over his shoulder as his teammates immediately obeyed and followed his example.

Three more armors rounded one of the corners a few intersections away as the speakers all around the fake city came to life.

"Come back here and face the might of my Vibrant Legion! There's only a thousand of them!", Kravchenko managed to say between his maniacal cackles.

"I was wrong. The fucker already has an army of robots!", Midoriya thought as the exit gate came into view. "The world is doomed…"

In the end, Martin called off his Vibrant Legion and the students collapsed after making it through the gate.

They passed and then passed out. Whether from exhaustion or stress remains an unsolvable mystery.

"So, what can you learn from this fight?", Nezu cheerfully asked as his students had yet to start picking their jaws off the floor.

"Are you still thinking that Avenger is weaker than you?", Kendo silently asked the Heroine next to her, her eyes glued to the screen.

"You shut up and I won't bust up your second eye, deal?", Miruko answered in a similarly hushed tone.

"Deal"

If there was a lesson to be learned then it would surely be about recognizing battles that you can't win and maybe not fucking with the guy who has an army of armed robots. A valuable lesson indeed.

I kinda wanted to make the two techy heroes a bit on the insane side and here are the effects! I'm actually pretty pleased with this and had a lot of fun coming up with various combos that Blackout could craft like the refrigerator + tanning bed = technologicaly advanced pilot seat for a mech.

And yes, my OC has his own Helicarrier. No, I'm not sorry xD

Anyways, the action may have ended for now, but I think now's the time. What time you ask? Summertime summercamp time! BTW, do any of you know if I can describe someone having their limbs torn off and still have this story rated T? No, it's not a spoiler, I'm asking for a friend.

So, come back next chapter where I try not to forget anything and I don't really know what else is going to happen. I might just say fuck it and skip to the camp, we'll see.

The guy-whose-OC-has-his-own-Helicarrier signing out!
