Chapter 15: Kingdom of Sorrow
Arthur, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Twilight, Tod, Tor, Amity, Kirby, and Klonoa make their way for the ark and manage to get on, as the ark reaches for the beam of light.
"Okay, we're on the ark and now we gotta stop all three engines!" Twilight said and Tod nods.
"Let's move!" Donald said.
(Information: Shut down the engines before time runs out!)
The group make their way through the ark to find and shut down the three engines, but Large Bodies, Soldiers, and Air Soldiers appear and attack the group, only for Arthur to deliver diagonal slashes with Excalibur followed by a vertical slash and then casts Attract to force the Heartless to him while dealing damage while Sora delivers four slashes with Kingdom Key followed by casting Gravity, but the Air Soldiers fly around and deliver flying kick attacks. Klonoa uses his ring to shoot wind bullets while Tod uses Growl, but the Soldiers deliver spin kick attacks while the Large Bodies slam on the ground and unleash shock waves, only for Tor to take out a Wind Mote on his sword and delivers a slash while unleashing a gust of wind. The Air Soldiers deliver flying punches, only for Kirby to inhale an Air Soldier to become Air Soldier Kirby and flies around to deliver air kicks while Donald casts Gravity to bring down the flying Heartless, but the Soldiers deliver leaping attacks while the Large Bodies deliver charging attacks, but Goofy uses Charge while Amity uses her Abomination to attack with flails while Twilight shoots magic bolts followed by casting Frost and they defeat the Heartless. The group continue moving through the ark to find the three engines and later, they go into the inside of the ark and they manage to find the first engine.
"There's the first engine! We just gotta take it out!" Tor said.
"Leave that to me!" Sora said, as he uses his Keyblade to cast Earth and manages to destroy the engine.
"That's one down." Amity said.
"Let's hurry and find the other two!" Arthur said.
The group continue to move through the ark to find the other two engines, but as they search for the other two, they see a flying ship and it's Leorina and Tat.
"Tat and Leorina?" Goofy asked.
"Get on!" Tat said, as the group get on the flying ship.
"Why're you helping us?" Donald asked.
"For the record, I don't like any of you! You were mean to Leorina!" Tat said.
"Hey, she was the one causing trouble!" Tor retorted.
"Oh, shut up! I'll help you get to the next engine!" Tat said.
The group get off the flying ship and head for the next engine and head for the inside, where they find the second engine, only to find more Heartless, who attack, but Arthur casts Volt while Sora casts Blizzard while Twilight unleashes magic orbs while Donald casts Fire while Goofy uses Tornado while Tor uses Sword Spin while Tod uses Skullbash while Amity shoots pink fireballs while Kirby uses Hammer Throw while Klonoa uses his ring to unleash wind blades and they defeat the Heartless. The group hurry for the second engine and Arthur and Sora use their magic to destroy the second engine, so the group make their way to escape, as the engine starts to blow up, but the group are back outside and they find Leorina's flying ship.
"Just one more to go!" Sora said.
"Get on! Hurry!" Leorina said, as they get on the air ship.
The air ship takes the group to the next part of the ark, but Red Nocturnes and Yellow Operas appear and attack, only for the group to defeat them, as the air ship keeps flying while dodging blue flames and later, they reach the next part of the ark, so the group get off and make their way for the third and final engine, where they find more Soldiers and Large Bodies, but Arthur and Sora defeat them and go for the third and final engine. Many Lieutenants appear and attack the group, only for Arthur to cast Attract to pull the Heartless to him while dealing damage while Sora casts Earth while Klonoa uses his ring to fire wind bullets while Twilight casts Blaze while Tor rapid slashes with his sword while Donald casts Thunder while Goofy uses Charge while Tod uses Growl while Amity summons an Abomination fist while Kirby uses Stone. After defeating the Heartless, the group go for the third engine and Arthur and Sora work together to use their magic to destroy the engine, so the group quickly leave for outside before the engine blows up and later, the group are back outside.
"We got 'em all!" Amity said.
"Tat!" Klonoa called.
"That's MISS Tat to you!" Tat yelled, as they get on the air ship, as they watch the ark being destroyed.
"Now all that's left is the Kingdom of Sorrow." Twilight said.
"That's where Ruber and Meta Knight are and we gotta stop them now!" Sora said, as they go for the beam of light, taking them to a new place.
(Kingdom of Sorrow)
The group arrive at what looks like a ruined wasteland.
"So, this is the Fifth Kingdom..." Klonoa said.
"We're not too late, are we?" Goofy asked.
"No, there's still time. The ark opened the path. All you have to do is stop the King of Sorrow." Leorina said.
"The King of Sorrow?" Arthur asked.
"Ruber and Meta Knight are probably going for him." Donald said.
"We can't let Lunatea become an entire world of sorrow!" Lolo said.
"Popka, Tat, stay here and watch over Leo." Twilight said.
"Don't give me any orders!" Tat yelled.
"Don't underestimate Leorina, the Sky Pirate. I'll be right behind you." Leorina said.
"Okay, let's get going!" Tor said and they nod.
(Field Theme: Kingdom of Sorrow)
(Information: Find the King of Sorrow!)
The group begin moving through the wasteland, only to run into Soldiers, Large Bodies, and Air Soldiers, who attack, but Arthur delivers slashes with Excalibur while Sora uses Sonic Blade while Twilight casts Volt while Donald casts Gravity while Tor uses Sword Thrust while Goofy uses Charge while Tod uses Skullbash while Amity uses her Abomination to use Shoulder Tackle while Kirby uses Hammer Spin while Klonoa uses his ring to unleash whirlwinds. The group later find a ruined structure and go in it to traverse through it while finding what look like runes, so Arthur and Sora destroy the runes to make a door open, allowing the group to continue moving through the structure and come across a spiral for them to climb up on and return outside. The group reach the upper parts of the structure while dealing with more Air Soldiers in their way and they find another structure to explore in, but they find more Heartless blocking their path, only for Arthur to use Cyclone Blade while Sora uses Sonic Blade and they defeat the Heartless and keep moving while climbing up the structure. As they climb up the structure, they head back outside, only to find a broken bridge, but Twilight uses her magic to teleport everyone to the other side and they find a lift, so they use it to take them across the wasteland, only for Soldiers and Lieutenants to appear and attack, only for Arthur to summon Naturae, who rains down rocks while Sora casts Gravity and they defeat the Heartless, as the lift keeps moving. The group later get off the lift and arrive at another structure, where they traverse and climb up while fighting off more Heartless in their way and later come across another lift, which they use to take them higher while avoiding blue flames and fighting off Air Soldiers and later, the lift takes them to a ruined tower. The group begin to move through the ruined tower and manage to climb up spirals and later head back outside, where they find Large Bodies, only for Arthur and Sora to defeat and keep moving and later, they reach a ledge, where they find a giant floating tower.
"This has to be it." Arthur said.
"That's where the King of Sorrow has to be." Klonoa said.
"I can get us there. Everybody hang on." Twilight said, using her magic to teleport the group to the floating tower.
(The Forgotten Path)
The group are now in what looks like a hall of darkness full of ruins.
"Help me... Help me... Help me.." A voice said.
"That voice..." Klonoa said.
"Who could that be?" Lolo asked.
"It's like someone's suffering." Arthur said.
"Is there no way to help someone, who needs it?" Amity asked.
"Only one way to find out! Let's climb on up!" Sora said and they nod.
(Field Theme: Forgotten Path)
(Information: Climb up to reach the path!)
The group come across a lift and use it to take them upward while dodging blue flames, but Soldiers appear and attack the group, only for Arthur to deliver four slashes with Excalibur followed by casting Frost while Sora vertical slashes with Kingdom Key followed by Blitz while Donald casts Earth while Twilight casts Blaze while Tod uses Bite while Tor triple slashes with his sword while Goofy uses Rocket while Amity shoots pink fireballs while Kirby uses Hammer Spin while Klonoa unleashes wind blades. The lift continues to take the group through the dark path and it later sends them to a spiral path with more blue flames, but they avoid the blue flames and keep going through the dark path and later, they come across what looks like a ridge, so the lift takes the group to the ridge and head for the next area.
(Terminus of Tears)
The group get off the lift and arrive at the top of the tower with stain-glass windows and they see someone in front of them and it's what looks like a blue rabbit-like creature wearing a gold collar and red eyes.
"Um, are you...the King of Sorrow?" Arthur asked.
"So, you're here to stop me? You've come to banish sorrow?" The King of Sorrow asked.
"What's going on? Why do you want to bring sorrow to the world?" Sora asked.
"Start talking!" Donald yelled, pointing his staff.
"Why do you intend on making the Fifth Bell appear in our world?" Lolo asked.
"Make it appear? No, the Fifth Bell was already part of your world. It was always there, but you pulled the veil over your eyes and refused to see it." The King of Sorrow said.
"What?" Twilight asked.
"Refuse to see it?" Amity asked.
"When people encounter sorrow, they try to forget it and pretend it never existed at all. So, I used the ark to pull Lunatea's Veil. All so you could save the Kingdom of Sorrow. So, Lunatea can once again remember." The King of Sorrow said.
"So, that's why...?" Tor asked.
"You were led on by false prophecies. You false saviours of a foolish world." A voice said, making the group turn to see Baguji's clothes on the ground.
"Master...Baguji?" Lolo asked.
"But that means..." Goofy stops talking.
"If sorrow is unwelcome here, then who cares if this pathetic world is destroyed. Let the world be consumed by the sorrow of darkness. That's why you were brought here, Dream Traveler, to atone for the sins of this world!" The King of Sorrow said.
"But... This world can't be consumed by sorrow! We won't let it!" Arthur said.
"If sorrow consumes the world, then we'll just stop it!" Twilight said.
"Why... Why do you hate sorrow? Can't you accept sorrow at all? Is there no place for me in this world?!" The King of Sorrow asked.
"Don't flatter yourself!" A voice said and they see Leorina.
"Leo!" Arthur said.
"You're here!" Sora said.
"YOU'RE the one, who isolated yourself from the world, thinking that you're the only one who's sad? You make me sick! He's nothing but a lump of pure sorrow! Show him the Elements from the other Kingdoms. Tranquility, Joy, Discord, and Indecision! Make him remember what the real world is about!" Leorina said.
"Enough! All will drown in sorrow! The sorrow of darkness!" The King of Sorrow said, unleashing a powerful barrier.
(Boss Theme: Squirming Evil)
(Information: Defeat the King of Sorrow!)
The King of Sorrow unleashes beams of darkness to attack the group, who dodge out of the way, only for the King of Sorrow to unleash an electric beam of dark energy to deal damage to the group, who dodge and Arthur finds what looks like three orbs, so Arthur strikes at one of the orbs with Excalibur followed by casting Blaze while Sora attacks another orb with Kingdom Key followed by casting Thunder, only for the King of Sorrow to unleash beams of negative energy. The group avoid the negative energy and Donald casts Fire at one of the orbs followed by casting Blizzard while Klonoa uses his ring to shoot wind bullets while Amity uses her Abomination to create two giant hammers and delivers strikes at one of the orbs, but King of Sorrow unleashes negative plasma energy to attack the group. Twilight casts Shell to protect everyone and then casts Volt to strike at one of the orbs while Kirby uses Hammer Throw, only for the King of Sorrow to conjure negative plasma pillars to strike at the group, who dodge and Goofy uses Tornado at one of the orbs, only for King of Sorrow to create negative orbs to send at the group. Tor deflects the negative orbs with his shield and then delivers vertical slashes with his sword followed by a shield bash while Tod uses Skullbash, but King of Sorrow keeps unleashing negative beams to deal damage to the group, only for Arthur and Sora destroy the orbs, causing the barrier to shatter.
"The barrier's down! Now's our chance!" Sora said.
Arthur aerial slashes at King of Sorrow with Excalibur followed by two aerial spin slashes and then casts Blaze while Sora aerial slashes with Kingdom Key followed by an aerial somersault slash and then casts Blizzard while Klonoa uses his ring to unleash whirlwinds while Twilight throws magic bombs and then casts Gale while Donald casts Thunder followed by casting Gravity, but King of Sorrow summons orbs of negative energy and sends them raining down at the group, who dodge. Goofy uses Rocket to strike in the air while Tor uses Sky Dance and aerial slashes with his sword followed by a downward shield bash while Tod uses Bite, only for King of Sorrow to unleash negative plasma energy to deal damage to the group, but Amity uses her Abomination to create a flail and axe and delivers many attacks. King of Sorrow retaliates with unleashing two orbs of negative energy and sends them to attack the group, only for Kirby to inhale the orbs and spits them back to strike at the King, who summons pillars of negative energy, only for Arthur to summon Crystallia, who unleashes crystals while Sora casts Gravity.
King of Sorrow creates another barrier and then unleashes plasma of negative energy to get the group, who dodge out of the way, only for King of Sorrow to unleash pillars of negative energy, but Tod attacks one of the orbs with his stick followed by a tail whip while Kirby charges his hammer to deliver a fiery swing at the other orb, but King of Sorrow unleashes surging plasma negative energy and then rains down orbs of negative energy. Klonoa uses his ring to unleash wind blades to strike at one of the orbs while Goofy uses Tornado, but King of Sorrow unleashes giant orbs of negativity and sends them to attack the group, only for Twilight to cast Shell and then casts Quake to attack one of the orbs, but King of Sorrow fires three beams of negative energy. Amity summons three Abomination fists that transform into hammers and crush to attack the orbs while Tor uses Sword Thrust to attack the another orb followed by an upper shield bash, but King of Sorrow unleashes plasma negative energy that deal damage, only for Donald to cast Fire followed by casting Earth, only for King of Sorrow to rain down more orbs of negativity. Sora delivers two vertical slashes with Kingdom Key followed by a diagonal slash and then casts Gravity while Arthur delivers four slashes with Excalibur followed by casting Volt and after enough attacks, they destroy the orbs, causing the barrier to disappear again.
Klonoa uses his ring to unleash whirlwinds while Kirby double swings his hammer, only for King of Sorrow to retaliate with unleashing rays of negative energy followed by unleashing pillars of negative energy, only for Amity to use her Abomination to create an axe and flail and strikes the King, who retaliates with firing rays of negative energy followed by unleashing electric negative energy. Tor takes out his Water Mote and delivers four slashes with his sword while unleashing water while Twilight unleashes magic orbs from her tome and then casts Frost, but King of Sorrow rains down more orbs of negativity followed by unleashing pillars of negative energy, but Goofy uses Charge while Donald unleashes magic concussive blasts followed by casting Thunder. King of Sorrow unleashes surges of negative energy followed by firing beams of negative energy, only for Arthur to double vertical slash with Excalibur followed by Crescent Slash and then uses Confusia's chaos magic to unleash chaos pillars while Sora aerial slashes with Kingdom Key followed by an aerial vertical slash followed by casting Blizzard and after enough attacks, King of Sorrow falls to the ground.
"It doesn't have to be like this! We don't want to fight you." Arthur said.
"You're the one, who was calling for help, weren't you? If so, then let us." Klonoa said.
"H-Help..." King of Sorrow was cut off.
"You disappoint me, little King." A voice said, as someone appears and it's Ruber.
"You were taking advantage of the King's sadness, weren't you?!" Sora asked.
"This King was nothing more than mere pawn of his own despair, just like Leorina was. His sorrow has been the fire of feeding his own darkness and now that his darkness has enough power..." Ruber uses darkness to cover King of Sorrow.
"N-No...! Stop!" King of Sorrow cried.
"This is what you've always wanted! To consume the world with your own despair and now you shall have your wish!" Ruber said, as his darkness completely covers King of Sorrow.
As the darkness dissipates, something emerges and it's what looks like a giant dark blue rabbit-like monster with longer ears, black claws, black spikes on his back, razor sharp black teeth, and black slit pupils on his red eyes, who lets out a huge roar.
"First Leorina and now him?" Amity asked.
"You really are a monster!" Donald yelled.
"This fool has no one to blame but himself. He was so caught up in his own little sadness that he failed to see he was easy to manipulate! Enjoy being devoured by the King of Despair!" Ruber said, as King of Despair roars again.
"Now what?" Tor asked.
"Help me...! Help me...!" King of Sorrow's voice said.
"We have to save him somehow, just like Leorina!" Klonoa said.
"Right! Let's save him from his sorrow and despair!" Arthur said and Tod nods.
(Boss Theme: Destiny's Force)
(Information: Defeat King of Despair!)
King of Despair slashes at the group with its claws and then slams its claws to the ground to unleash spikes of negative energy, but Arthur vertical slashes with Excalibur followed by a roundhouse slash and then casts Blaze while Sora aerial slashes with Kingdom Key followed by casting Earth, only for King of Despair to conjure four orbs of negative energy and throws them at the group, who dodge, but King of Despair unleashes giant pillars of negative energy. Twilight throws magic bombs followed by casting Frost while Klonoa uses his ring to unleash wind blades, but King of Despair delivers a giant cross slash with his claws followed by firing giant beams of negative energy, only for Donald to cast Blizzard followed by casting Gravity, only for King of Despair to sink into the ground. King of Despair rises from the ground to attack under the group, who dodge the rising attack, only for King of Despair to keep rising to attack and then unleashes many spikes of negative energy all over, but Tor uses Sky Dance and aerial slashes with his sword followed by a downward shield bash while Tod uses Skullbash. King of Despair unleashes giant waves of negative energy and then unleashes four orbs of negative energy, only for Amity to use her Abomination to use Hammer Fist while Kirby uses Hammer Wheel while Goofy uses Charge, but Kig of Despair slashes with his claws followed by unleashing waves of negative energy, but the group dodge, only for King of Despair to unleash spikes of negativity.
The group continue to dodge King of Despair's attacks and Tod triple strikes with its stick followed by delivering a giant bite while Kirby multi punches followed by Final Cutter, only for King of Despair to sink into the ground again and unleashes blades of negative energy from the ground under the group, who dodge, but spikes of negative energy rise as well, as King of Despair rises while slashing with his claws. Tor takes out a Wind Mote and delivers horizontal slashes with his sword followed by unleashing a cyclone to deal damage while Amity unleashes a giant pink fireball and throws it, only for King of Despair to retaliate with unleashing black rings of negative energy and sends them to attack the group, dealing damage, but Donald casts Cure and then casts Earth to deal damage to the monster King. King of Despair unleashes four giant orbs of negativity followed by firing beams of negative energy, only for the group to dodge and Goofy uses Tornado while Twilight unleashes magic blades and sends them to strike followed by casting Volt, but King of Despair delivers cross slashes with his claws followed by raining down orbs of negativity. Klonoa uses his ring to shoot wind bullets, only for King of Despair to unleash surging plasma of negativity to deal damage, only for Arthur to cast Mend and then delivers four slashes with Excalibur followed by a roundhouse slash and then casts Quake while Sora uses Sonic Blade and dashes all over while dealing damage and delivers the final dash attack.
King of Despair gathers as much negative energy and then unleashes a giant wave of negative energy to deal massive damage to the group, who recover, only for King of Despair to unleash blades of negative energy from the ground, but Klonoa uses his ring to unleash whirlwinds to strike while Tod uses Growl, only for King of Despair to cross slash with his claws followed by unleashing rings of negative energy and sends them to attack. Kirby inhales to take the rings of negative energy and pits them back out to strike and then uses Hammer Throw while Amity summons three Abomination fists, as they transform into an axe, hammer, and blade and they deliver strikes with the weapons, only for King of Despair to fire giant beams of negative energy followed by unleashing spikes of negativity. Tor uses Sword Spin while Twilight shoots magic beams from her horn followed by casting Frost, but King of Despair unleashes pillars of negatuve energy, only for Goofy bash with his shield while Donald casts Thunder followed by casting Gravity, but King of Despair sinks into the ground to unleash more blades and spikes of negative energy. The group dodge the rising negative energy, only for King of Despair to rise from the ground to slsh with his claws, but Sora delivers three diagonal slashes with Kingdom Key followed by a spin slash and then uses Blitz whhile Arthur horizontal slashes with Excalibur followed by using Ignia's fire magic to unleash streams of flames. King of Despair unleashes four giant orbs of negative energy and throws them at the group, who dodge and Klonoa uses his ring to fire gusts of wind while Tod uses Skullbash Kirby uses Hammer Spin while Amity shoots pink fireballs while Tor uses Sword Thrust while Twilight casts Volt while Goofy uses Rocket while Donald casts Fire while Arthur uses Cyclone Blade while Sora uses Sonic Blade and they finish off King of Despair.
King of Despair stumbles while struggling his balance while roaring in pain and agony and then falls to the ground, as darkness disappears while King of Sorrow reverts back to his normal form.
"Help me... Pl-Please... Help me..." King of Sorrow begged.
"We will!" Arthur said.
"Klonoa!" Sora said.
"Yeah!" Klonoa said, as he uses his ring to ring the Fifth Bell.
"No! You useless fool! I offered you power and you've thrown it away!" Ruber yelled, disappearing in darkness.
"It's okay... You don't have to run anymore..." Arthur said.
"And you don't have to be afraid." Klonoa said.
"The world won't forget sorrow anymore and there won't be any running." Sora said.
"After all, we've only come this far." Klonoa said.
"Yeah... Thank you... Klonoa... Arthur... Sora..." King of Sorrow said, disappearing into light and in his place is what looks like a purple orb.
"An Element?" Amity asked.
"I see. Tranquility, Joy, Discord, Indecision, and Sorrow. Now I'm certain all five Kingdoms can live in harmony again." Twilight said.
"Now that's what I call a 'perfect picture' moment." Leorina said.
"Ya know, I just noticed somethin'. Klonoa, Arthur, and Sora are sorta similar to the Goddess Claire." Popka said.
"Yes, they do..." Lolo said.
Just then, something appears on the tower's floor and it's what looks like another Keyhole.
"The Keyhole!" Goofy said.
"Sora!" Tor said.
"Yep!" Sora said, using his Keyblade to seal the Keyhole to save Lunatea from the darkness.
"Whoa!" Klonoa said.
"Finally. Now Lunatea is truly saved." Arthur said and just then, a violet Faerie Heart appears and it flies for Excalibur.
"Klonoa... Arthur... Sora... These three...are amazing..." Leorina said.
"Yeah, they're pretty cool!" Tat said.
Unknowing to them, someone watches them and it's Meta Knight.
"So, they managed to overcome sorrow. They truly are a sight to behold, but are they still strong enough to stand against the forces of darkness? We shall soon see." Meta Knight said, vanishing in his cape.
Later, the Kingdom of Sorrow now has blue skies, as the group watch Leorina's ship fly for the ruins.
"Leorina's really excited to start restoring the Kingdom of Sorrow." Lolo said.
"She really is. The place does need a good fix." Donald said.
"I need to work hard too. This time, I'll be a priestess on my own." Lolo said.
"Wait, did that mean you gave up on your title?" Klonoa asked.
"Yes, but that means I'm going to keep trying, even if I fail. I can't give the King of Sorrow a reason to cry again." Lolo said.
"You can do it, Lolo. I know you can. Just don't let anyone stop you." Arthur said.
"Good luck, Lolo." Klonoa said.
"Klonoa, does that mean you have to leave?" Lolo asked.
"Yeah, I gotta head back to where I came from." Klonoa said.
"Of course. Lunatea isn't your world." Lolo said.
"That means we have to leave too." Twilight said.
"Right, we have to get back to our own adventure." Sora said.
"It's okay. I knew this was coming." Lolo said.
"Just know that as long as you don't forget us, it's not really a goodbye." Amity said.
"Y-Yeah..." Lolo said, as she hugs the group while crying.
"Lolo..." Sora said.
"Even if we do leave Lunatea, we won't be apart." Klonoa said.
"Right." Arthur said.
"And it's okay to feel sad, but just know that no matter what, we're always friends." Sora said.
"Thanks, everyone!" Klonoa said, running off.
"Goodbye, Klonoa..." Arthur said.
"Time for us to go too." Goofy said and Tod nods.
"Yep. Take care, Lolo!" Sora said, grinning, as they run off.
"Klonoa... Arthur... Sora... Goodbye..." Lolo said.
(Theme: Villains of Sort)
Meanwhile in the dark chapel, Dr. Facilier and Maleficent watch the projection of the group in Lunatea while Ruber arrives.
"That King was useless! Pathetically USELESS!" Ruber shouted.
"It's a pity his sorrow was a waste of potential. It would have been beneficial to our cause." Dr. Facilier said.
"Not everyone is a perfect fit for our plan, but we're still moving forward." Maleficent said.
"You are right, my dear. We have more than enough allies for our plan." Ruber said.
"Speaking of which, the Dr. and I shall depart to Agrabah to check on Jafar's status. He should be able to find the Keyhole, the Faerie, and the Princess by now." Maleficent said.
"Indeed, but first, I'll be going to my chambers to see how our...guest is doing." Dr. Facilier said.
"Allow me to join you, Dr., since I think he'll be a...useful asset to us." Ruber said, as they leave the chapel.
Dr. Facilier and Ruber arrive at another dark chamber full of masks and voodoo items all over and the two find a boy with red hair, green eyes, wearing a yellow long-sleeve shirt with a green vest over it, green trousers, and brown boots chained against the walls.
"So, how's our guest doing today?" Dr. Facilier asked.
"Get out of my face, Facilier!" The boy snapped.
"Such malice! Have you already forgotten who saved you when your world was gone?" Ruber asked.
"SAVED me?! You and those monsters killed everyone in my home! YOU took everything from me!" The boy yelled.
"But you're still alive, are you not? If not for me and my Friend from the Other Side, you would have perished along with your world." Dr. Facilier said.
"Where's Eilonwy?! What have you done to her?!" The boy demanded.
"I'm afraid your little princess friend is no longer with us, as she died along with your pathetic world, but you, boy, shall be of great use to us!" Ruber said, thrusting his hand into the boy's chest.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The boy screamed, as Ruber pulls his hand out of the boy's chest and in his hand is a glowing orb, which is the boy's heart, as the boy starts fading.
"Now then..." Ruber and Dr. Facilier use dark magic to create a dark aura around the boy's heart and puts the dark covered heart into the boy's body. "Neo-Shadows!" Ruber called, as three Neo-Shadows appear and proceed to enter the boy's body and later, the Heartless are now in the boy's body. "Yes, yes! You'll be much better that you belong to us, boy!" Ruber said, smiling evilly.
"Indeed he will be." Dr. Facilier said, smiling wickedly, as his shadow smiles the same evil smile, as the boy's eyes turn bright yellow, as dark aura appears all over his body.
"Very perfect! A new minion is born and soon, you shall bring forth despair to the Realm of Light!" Ruber said.
Meanwhile in what looks like a tall and crooked gold tower with a wizard hat shaped cone at the top, someone is in a room and talking to an elder man with grey hair and beard, wearing a blue pointed hat, and blue robes sitting on a chair with a desk in front of him and person talking to the elder man is the same purple cloaked figure.
"You have done well in your role of preventing an effusion of Heartless in some worlds, but there are still much of them remaining and the forces of darkness is still at large, as they're bent on their plan. If we are to learn more of what their plan is, we will need to keep a closer eye on them without them suspecting a thing. Maleficent and Dr. Facilier are on their way to the desert kingdom of Agrabah, where they will meet with their comrade Jafar. No doubt they're still searching for that world's Keyhole, as well as the Faerie Heart. That is where you will come in. Go to Agrabah and find out what you can about their plan while also preventing them from plunging the world into darkness at the hands of the Heartless, but be forewarned; they are also looking to recruit a Faerie of the darkest kind and who knows what she is capable of. I have faith that you will still succeed. Be very cautious." The elder man said.
"Yes, Master. I promise I won't fail, but what about the wielders of the Keyblade and Excalibur?" The purple cloaked figure asked.
"Worry not, for they will too arrive at the world as well and I'm certain they will be of assistance. Go forth now, young one and good luck to you!" The elder man said, creating a portal.
"I will be back. I promise." The purple cloaked figure said, going for the portal.
"And should you encounter Ruber again, be on guard. Despite his brutish appearance, he is very clever and cunning, as he is dangerous. He will destroy any, who seek to disrupt his goal. He is no different than Maleficent and Dr. Facilier." The elder man said.
"I understand. I was a bit reckless back at Camelot during its destruction, but it won't happen again." The purple cloaked figure said, going for the portal before it disappears.
"Are you certain she is capable of succeeding?" A voice asked and it's a black Alicorn with an ethereal blue mane and tail, wearing a blue breastplate with a crescent moon symbol, crystal heels on her hooves, black tiara, and has a crescent moon symbol on her flank. "You do realize she is still but a child, who has lost her world to those horrid demons." The Alicorn said.
"She may be a child, but given her self-taught training with the magic weapon she was granted after the destruction of Prydain, she should be more than capable. I have faith in her, as well as the other young ones will prevail over the darkness. You should as well." The elder man said.
"With all due respect, I still find it quite hard to believe to push this kind of burden on children, especially those, who have lost their homes to the darkness. We have already lost six young champions to darkness once before. Do you expect the same fate to befall them?" The Alicorn asked.
"I understand your concern, Princess, but your sister has entrusted me to this task. It cannot be undone." The elder man said.
"Sometimes, even my sister does not know better, despite her wisdom. And what's more is that her precious student is now in the middle of this burden." The Alicorn said.
"Fate has already chosen these young ones and there is no going back now. The fate of the worlds and the Realm of Light itself now falls upon their shoulders. All we can do for them now is to guide them to their appointed path. There is nothing that can be done." The elder man said.
"Just know this, wizard; should anything happen to them, you, my sister, the King, and the Faerie Queen shall be held responsible." The Alicorn said, leaving the chamber.
"The wheels of fate have turned and there is no going back now. I am confident that the young ones will succeed in their quest. Of that I am certain. Still, her concerns are to be noted, as fate should not burden them, but we must ensure the young ones are the Harbingers of Hope this Realm truly needs. However, I too, share my concerns, especially for Sora and Arthur, as they are now targets for the forces of darkness and how things play out now remains to be seen for now." The elder man said, stroking his beard.
Here's Chapter 15 and now we're finally finished with the Lunatea arc and boy, this was actually a fun experience to deal with and I hope you enjoyed this arc, as I did, but now it's time to move on with the adventure, as we head for the next Disney world.
