Once Courage manages to break free from the enclosed office, he makes his way over to Gina to inspect if she is ok. Luckily she was still breathing, however, the cowardly dog soon discovers that she had fallen asleep. Courage then makes his way to the bin to retrieve Gina's phone, what he plans to do is look up the person Benton considered his big star, typing in Angela Sigourney, sadly there were no results on the person in question. Courage decides to type something else into Gina's phone, typing in People associated with Benton Tarantella.
The information Courage had received, unfortunately, was not what he expected. The only information he received was a small list that had only two names: Errol Van Volkheim (another person Courage encountered before) and an interesting name associated with the two. "Who's Jessica Youth?" Wondered Courage, who starts to type her name up next. What he was given is a news article that pertained to her as well as Tarantella which read as follows:
"Nineteen ninety-nine: Jessica Youth started her career as a young actress after graduating from the University of Nowhere. Jessica accepts the first job opportunity is an internship with self-claimed film Directors Benton Tarentella and Errol Van Volkheim under the alias: Angela Sigourney! Two years during the internship, Jessica Youth was proposed to by Errol Von Volkiem during the production of one of their films. Jessica Youth before the wedding ceremony mysteriously disappears, presumed murdered. Jessica Youth confirmed to be a victim of the ruse of Tarentella and Van Volkeim. Jessica Youth alias: Angela Sigourney now haunts an industrial building in the Middle of Nowhere feeding on any person who sets foot inside."
The frightening part afterward, was what Courage read after the article was a comment posted beneath, which read: "I heard from a woman who made it out of the building with her life, was that she believed she saw JESSICA'S GHOST!" Reading this was a clear sign to Courage that Gina was in danger, who knew what Tarantella is planning to do with her with Courage's newfound information. However before the dog can act, Benton returns yet he did not seem to mind that Courage had escaped, nor the fact that he discovered a dark secret strangely enough.
"Oh I see you let yourself out excellent," says Benton with a wicked grin on his face, Courage was starting to get terrified over what Benton might do. "I'm sorry to keep you waiting, I was just preparing for the real star's arrival," Benton says, and appearing from behind him, was a unique ghost-like being that had an aura that shined in bright colors, the ghost in question wore a torn white trumpet dress. Her figure judging from the arms and what can be seen of her feet, was super skinny with thin spiderlike fingers, but the notable feature was her face which was revealed to be wrinkled, the eye sockets were empty, and her grinning mouth that reveals a row of spiked teeth.
Courage after just one glance at the creature who happened to be the ghost of Jessica Youth, Courage started to scream as he does all the color started to go out from his body the ghost afterward takes notice of the exhausted Gina and asks "this is the mortal who you bring as my vessel?" Benton in a sinister tone, replies "yes Angela nothing is too good for you my dear.
As soon as Jessica starts looming toward poor Gina, Courage without a second thought picks up Gina and carries her over his head in an attempt to make sure the ghost does not have its fill. The pink dog acting fast starts to run around the whole office in an attempt to lose the ghost, all the while search for an exit. No matter where Courage went sadly, the ghost manages to find them one way or another as if it knew where they would go.
Suddenly we get a complete view of what looks like a birds-eye view of how the office is mapped out as a floor plan. Courage while still being chased by the ghost is now accompanied by what sounds like pixelized music that keeps repeating the same five notes over and over, while the office for some reason starts flashing blue. This would continue for about a minute or so before we resume normal view.
By then Courage soon finds himself cornered, defeated and aghast by the time the ghost and Benton arrive. "You might as well give up my friend, its a dog eat dog world in the movie business," says Benton "you just have to learn to cut your losses, or in Gina's case her existence!" Leaving Courage to let out a loud no. The ghost starts to enter the unconscious body as if Gina were a vacuum sucking up dust.
With a sinister tone to his voice, Benton starts to monologue to himself "soon my dear you shall be amongst the living once more, and I can promise you that what I offer will be more than that hack Von Volkiem ever could muster up in the time you where wed, he can never love you as much as I do. All those years dreaming of the day of your wedding to him, when I would always hope nay pray you to take at least one small look at my feelings for you, to see you can do better finding someone who shares a passion in the art of movies, someone like me! Well now once you regain your appearance, I hope to spend every chance I can with you."
Courage in the last attempt at effort conveniently pulls out a portable vacuum cleaner in an attempt to rescue Gina, before she is taken over with just one flick of the switch the vacuum sucks the ghostly being in as opposed to being sucked into Gina, all the while the colorful spirit lets out a wail so loud it could shatter glass. As for how it sounded it was indescribable just what it could be compared to.
Once she was successfully absorbed, Benton in horror says "NO! What have you done! My star, my movie, my chance at happiness all taken away!" Benton then starts to get on both his knees and pound his fists in defeat, Courage looked as if he felt sort of guilty for the corpse before him, however, it did not change the fact that he commanded a ghost to eat Gina. Benton suddenly looks back at Courage with a strange look in his eyes, he then says "but I know what I won't be losing not this time!"
He starts to set his camera aside before he can start to attack the dog. Courage starts to scream dropping the vacuum in the process, accidentally setting it from suck to blow unleashing the ghost who was completely enraged before the zombie director. Angela could not tell the difference between a friend or prey, as it then grabs ahold of Benton in an attempt to harm him, Benton meanwhile pleas for his life "No NO Angela please, think of all I ever did for you the fame, the luxury, your name in lights!" This did not phase through the raging spirit.
Courage seizes the chance to try and escape, the ghost notices Courage successfully passes her "Angela your one chance at life is getting away, catch it!" Orders Benton unaware of the camera still where he left it, as we see Courage with Gina in his hands pass by. Spectra still dragging Benton chases the two, then when it attempts to pass by the camera, the camera suddenly starts to react on its own accord, we see a blast of light come out from it, Spectra with little success attempts to escape while Benton in horror realizes this as he attempts to break away from his captor also to no avail.
Benton and Spectra both end up getting sucked into the camera before it immediately implodes. Courage looking back at the remains of the destroyed camera sets Gina down somewhere safe and carefully approaches the device, before he knew it a new ghost appears. It was a young beautiful woman with silky hair that reached her back and a complexion of a young woman hovers over the pink dog, kisses' him on his nose, and says "you have set me free" disappearing afterward. It was clear that now she was making her way to the great movie studio in the sky to make smiling faces, without the help of what Courage had thought to be her captor.
Gina at this point wakes up from her state though slightly as Gina asks "Courage, what happened where is the director?" Courage simply presents her with the damaged camera and nervously chuckles. Gina simply picks him up and says "I guess Mr. Tarantella got what he wanted out of me after all" disappointed in her waste of a roll, she then takes Courage with her out of the building and they go home.
At the farmhouse that night, when Gina regained her energy she started to perform Shakespeare for her family, when she had finished the family cheers for her except Eustace who was asleep in his chair. Gavin says "sorry your break was a bust, but I can assure you you are definitely a noteworthy Oscar winner in my book" Gina replies "thank you thank you, I would also like to thank you all for your undying support and love for me, especially Courage, I don't know why but I feel like something more than a star with Courage around."
Courage simply takes out a film clapper from out of nowhere, and says "and that's a wrap!"
And there we go all done thank you for those who support this story I truly appreciate this
