When Jewel found out Queen Beryl and Elizabeth were no longer the same, and her mother was missing, she started crying into Elizabeth's body. Right now, Elizabeth is healing from Takala's attack, so Jewel is with the girls. Everyone tried comforting the Dark Kingdom Princess, but it seemed she was inconsolable. Luckily, Chibiusa knew exactly how Jewel felt when the Black Moon Clan attacked, and Neo-Queen Serenity was encased in crystal.
"Jewel, it's OK. It's not your fault. You've got to be strong. I promise we'll save Queen Beryl." Chibiusa hugged her sister.
"That's right!" Gracie put a hand on Jewel's shoulder with a loving smile.
Crystal and Alexis hugged Jewel, too, having an easier time letting their actions speak for them.
"Even though I never thought we'd be saving Queen Beryl, if they hurt her in any way, shape, or form, we'll make sure they pay!" Holly vowed.
Luna, Artemis, Comet, Asteroid, and Diana purred and rubbed against Jewel too. Their love and kindness helped soothe the shaken young girl.
"Thanks, everyone. I thought if anything went wrong, mother would come and warn me, but...does she not care about me enough to do so?" Jewel sniffled.
"I'm sure that's not what she thought or felt. Queen Beryl loves you very much, she doesn't know how to show it openly, and she tries to be strong on her own to show you what she expects of you." Gracie explained.
"Mom...I'm trying…I'm going to show you how strong I am." Jewel promised, looking out at the horizon.
With the Skinwalkers in yet another new, far-off, hidden spot, under the promise of regaining her powers and seeing as Takala already separated her from Elizabeth, Beryl (no longer calling herself Queen) is convinced to work with them. Like the controlled Neo-Eternal Sailor Senshi, Beryl's jewelry is infused with black magic, allowing her to use it until she gets her own back.
Of course, Beryl had no intention of remaining loyal to them once she was back at full power, yet she was smart enough to know something about them. Just giving her some of their black magic was not correct. Also, Takala had tried making advances toward Beryl, but she had made it quite clear she was not interested. The circumstances in the way she conceived Jewel reminded her how much she hurt her only daughter, and she would not be throwing herself at just any man again.
Whatever Takala may've done to her when she was under his control was not her fault. So that freed her of any guilt up to now.
"I have to admit, Takala: Due to your track record, I did not think you could deliver as you promised, but I was mistaken. Good work." Mitena congratulated her fellow Navajo.
"You have not been doing so bad yourself. If this is the result of us all working together as a team, maybe we should coordinate like this from now on?" Takala suggested, to which Mitena nodded.
"You Skinwalkers may have control over the powerhouses of those Neo-Sailor brats, but the Princesses and half of the team are still free." Beryl hissed.
"We do not care about the rest of the Sailor Senshi's children. We plan on killing them off anyway as they are the weakest. The Princesses will come to us in time." Mitena assured Beryl, though this only distressed the woman as if the others were controlled or killed. Who was she going to sacrifice so she could escape?
Beryl did not have much time to ponder this as the Skinwalkers wanted her and the controlled Neo-Eternal Sailor Senshi to attack, to see how well they fight!
"What? Are we just entertainment to you?!" Beryl shouted at Tyee.
"Watch your tone, woman! As long as you remain with us, and let me assure you, will, you are to address me with respect, or your time here will be a very unpleasant one." Tyee warned.
Beryl opened her mouth to retort, but she stopped when she heard growling behind her! Beryl glanced back and saw a pack of Skinwalker wolves, poised to attack her if she said a single insult! Cursing under her breath, Beryl bit her "acid tongue" to hold it back.
A few minutes later, Neo-Eternal Sailor Jupiter led Beryl, Eternal-Neo Mars, Neo-Eternal Sailor Saturn, and Neo-Eternal Sailor Pluto back into Crystal Tokyo! Strangely, for the first time, it seemed Beryl could look at Crystal Tokyo with fresh eyes. Why did it look so much more beautiful now?
As the girls walked through the city, Beryl saw four other girls who looked familiar to her: One has short, curly blonde hair and blue eyes, another has her long, wavy brown hair in twin braids and green eyes, and the last two must be twins as they both had their long hair in a ponytail, though one has blonde, almost white hair and the other dyed black, the snow-haired one has blue eyes and the raven-haired one has green eyes, and they have the same slightly darker skin tone. Also, they all wore an odd, gold, jeweled bracelet. They were in calm but excited conversation. Then, at the same time, they looked over, spotting Beryl, but did not seem to recognize who she was. Yet, the look they were giving her...
"My Generals...No! I must be seeing things." Beryl shook her head and kept walking when Neo-Eternal Sailor Jupiter called out to her to "Keep up!" but she couldn't get those girls out of her head.
Who are they? Where did they come from? Why did they remind her of Endymion's Generals? Even if they did not recognize her, did the look they gave her mean they knew something was up? Finally, the Crystal Palace came into view, and Beryl feared she would witness a scene worse than the one she created during the Silver Millennium (as the memory of her losses is still painful for her). She had tried so hard to keep a carnage like that from being seen by Jewel...
