Chapter 41 Siblings
During the journey, Ash and Serena are having lunch, and Clemont notices that Bonnie hasn't eaten her vegetables.
"Bonnie, you shouldn't be picky about your food." Clemont says.
"But I hate carrots..." Bonnie replies back.
"Carrots have many nutrients. If you don't eat up everything, you won't be able to become a great Pokemon Trainer." Clemont says.
"But you don't eat peas as well." Bonnie mutters back.
"Tt-that's..." Clemont is a little embarrassed. "Anway, don't leave anything on the plate, Bonnie."
"Looks like they fight a lot?" David asks.
"That shows how close they are." Serena nods.
While Chespin eats his Pokémon food, he spots a Cinccino walking past, and he instantly falls in love and chases after it. Bonnie, choking down her vegetables, notices this and chases after Chespin.
"Hey, Chespin." Bonnie says after Chespin seems to lost the Cinccino. "You can't just run off on your own! It's very dangerous!"
Chespin tries to run, but Bonnie quickly grabs it and hugs it, but then she gets lost on the road.
"Um...which way did we come from again?" Bonnie says with a frown.
Back at the group, who are still having lunch, Ash asks, "Hey, where did Bonnie go?"
"Even Chespin is gone as well." Flora says as she also notices the Pokemon.
"Geez...Bonnie must have run off to avoid eating her carrots..." Clemont says.
"I don't think that's the case..." Ash sighs.
"But we have to find them quickly. This first is dangerous if we stray from the path. There are lakes and cliffs, and even nests of wild Beedrills." Flora says.
"How do you know about it?" Serena asks.
"I have experience in the past." Flora says. "Hey, where is Ash?"
The group then realizes that Ash is gone, Serena says, "Don't tell me that he goes to find Bonnie on his own..."
Bonnie and Chespin wander around the forest and meet a swarm of wild Beedrill, she trips and injures her leg. Just as the Beedrill attack, Ash arrives and he yells, "Espurr! Use Protect!"
Ash's Espurr quickly intervenes, and it manages to protect them.
"Bonnie, are you okay?" Ash asks.
"I'm fine, Ash." Bonnie says. But the Beedrill regather and Ash frowns, "Oh no, we are surrounded..."
"Espurr! Energy Ball!" Serena and the others arrive as they also chase away the Beedrills.
"Are you okay, Bonnie?" David asks.
"Yeah...I'm fine..." Bonnie says.
"How about you, Chespin?" Ash turns to his Pokemon, who nods.
"Ash, what were you thinking? You can't just run off on your own like that." Serena scolds him.
"I'm sorry, but knowing Bonnie's in danger, I can't just wait." Ash says.
At the same time, Clemont is scolding Bonnie and he says, "I keep telling you that you shouldn't act on your own!"
"But..." Bonnie frowns.
David says, "Clemont, Bonnie must've had a reason."
"If something were to happen to her, we might not be able to get there in time! That's why!" Clemont says with a scolding tone.
"But shouldn't we be happy that both Chespin and Bonnie are safe?" Ash asks. "We have to treat her injury first."
Then Ash decides to help Bonnie clean her injury, but Bonnie is just angry at Clemont.
Serena says, "Now that's done, should we continue training our Espurr? I mean, they are close to evolving and it will be great to have Meowstics."
"Sure." Ash says, "If that's the case, how about we split a little? Let's see who evolves Espurr first?"
Serena nods, "Sure, I am not planning on losing."
Flora says, "You are not going to do anything without our help, I'll help you, Ash."
"Then I'll help Serena." David says.
"I'll help Serena too." Bonnie says as she glares at Clemont, "Brother, why don't you just go with Ash and help the other side?"
Clemont flinches at Bonnie's tone, and he turns to a frown.
Now they split into two groups, and Flora and Clemont are with Ash. Flora says, "Hey Ash, do you know that when Espurr evolves, both males and females have different movesets?"
"Really? I mean...that is quite unusual." Ash says.
"Indeed. Pokemon are mysterious." Flora says.
Clemont is not saying anything, and Ash asks, "Clemont? Is there something wrong?"
"I...I can't help but nag...perhaps Bonnie is hating me now..." Clemont frowns.
Flora sighs, "That's not true at all, Bonnie knows why you are getting angry at her. You are worried about her."
Clemont weakly responds, "Really?"
"Of course, the two of you have always been together, haven't you?" Flora says. "There are a lot of times Eve and Alice would rebel against me, but in the end, we still get along together."
"I see." Clemont nods.
At the same time, Serena, David, and Bonnie are training the male Espurr, and Bonnie says, "David, you are really good at handling Steel Type Pokemon. Just like Mr. Wikstrom."
"Thanks, my sister Elline and I have been trying to become the best Steel and Electric Trainers."
"Electric, huh? Just like my brother." Bonnie says, but then gasps as she mentioned her brother, who she hates right now.
Serena says, "You love your brother really much, don't you?"
"I hate him!" Bonnie says. "He gets mad so easily, and he's bossy. If only you were my brother, David..."
"I am just like Clemont." David says, causing both girls to be shocked.
"What? What do you mean like that?" Serena asks.
"There are some times I can't help but get worried about my sister Elline. There are some times she hated me because of this..." David says. "It's not like I want to fight with Elline."
"Aren't you angry at her, David?" Bonnie asks.
"No, Elline is my family, and so are Ash and Flora, as well as the ones that you have met during your journey." David says.
Then Bonnie starts to think about what she has done and she frowns.
Just then, they feel the weather becoming strange and Serena asks, "What's going on?"
"Something is not right here..." Ash says as he also feels the same pulse.
Just then, the heat becomes to rise as a fire beam just shoots into the air. "What is that?" All of them exclaim, and they quickly rush in the direction of the heat.
"Serena. Did you see that?" Ash, Flora, and Clemont reunites with Serena, Bonnie, and David, and Serena says, "I saw it too. What was that about?"
"Then in front of them, a Heatran is now standing in front of them. "A Heatran? It is a Legendary Pokemon!"
"But it is supposed to live in magma like Volcano, why is it here?" Serena asks.
Heatran gives out a growl, as the fire is spreading. A fire is about to hit Bonnie until Clemont pushes both of them out of the way.
"Brother?" Bonnie is surprised.
"Heatran, what's the meaning of this?" Ash asks.
"I am here for a battle, your mother has asked all Legendary Pokemon to come to you, but I am not going to be captured until I have a fight."
"You want a fight, then we'll fight you." Ash says as Serena nods. Both Espurr are also joining in the fight, and David says, "Heatran is also a Steel Type. Which means Psychic moves are not going to be effective."
"It's fine, we can still do it." Serena says as both Ash and Serena are now in their Pokemon form as they fight against Heatran with the help of Espurr. Ash goes for the Magnitude, which is super effective on Heatran. Heatran also goes for Lava Plume, which is not very effective against Serena.
"Take this." Serena uses Shadow Force to give Heatran damage, but Heatran growls and says, "Take this! Magma Storm!"
Just then, the fire is starting to spread as both Espurr are hit.
"Espurr!" Ash and Serena yell, and both their Pokemon are worried. Ash says, "With the fire, it is not only us, the Pokemon here are going to take a lot of damage as well. Serena, I'll use Rain Dance, you do the battle for now."
"Okay." Ash then starts to summon the rain to put off the forest fire, and Serena is firing Shadow Ball. As for the Espurr, they are still struggling to stand up, and then they start to glow as it signals evolution.
"Espurrs are evolving..." David says.
"At the same time as well?" Flora says in shock.
After both Meowstic appears, Ash says, "Good, Meowstic, use Charge Beam!"
Ash has the Female Meowstic use the Electric move, which deals some pain to Heatran. Serena says, "You can do what you want! Misty Terrain!"
Male Meowstic decides to use the move to assist Female Meowstic, and Female Meowstic uses the Disarming Voice, which is not very effective, but deals some damage.
"Now leave the rest to us." Serena says as both Ash and Serena go for Aura Sphere, which defeats Heatran.
"That is a nice battle, Serena." Ash and Serena return to their normal selves, and Heatran manages to get back up as well.
"You two are very good...I can see why your mother wants me to come with you." Heatran says as Ash nods.
"Welcome to the team, Heatran." Ash throws a Pokeball at Heatran, causing it to be captured.
"And it's a good thing that you two evolved as well." Serena pets both Meowstic, who are holding hands with each other.
"But since it evolves at the same time...I guess the match is a draw?" David asks.
"Maybe, but it is not a competition after all." Flora sighs as she notices that Bonnie and Clemont are hugging. "Clemont? Bonnie?"
The two of them quickly break the hug and Bonnie lowers her head. Clemont says, "Bonnie, I know I'm an unreliable big brother, but I care about you a lot."
Bonnie shakes her head and says, "No, I have to say sorry as well. I should've just talked to you back then. I'll eat my carrots too. So please...will you continue to be my big brother?"
"Of course, and I always will. We are brother and sister after all." Clemont says, and then the both of them laugh together.
Serena smiles at Ash and says, "Looks like everything is solved."
At the same time, Chespin comes back with a bunch of flowers, as it is for Meowstic, who he has a crush on. But the female Meowstic is still talking happily to the male Meowstic, and David says, "Well, those Meowstic..."
"These are getting along well for a couple of years before we met in the mansion back then." Ash says.
"Maybe they will be just like Ash and Serena? You know what I mean." Flora teases.
"Maybe..." Ash and Serena blush a little.
At the same time, Chespin has his heartbreaks, and everyone laughs at the Pokemon. Serena says, "Cheer up, Chespin. I'll bake some macarons for you, so you can eat them and try your best with your next romance."
Chespin is protesting as everyone is laughing at the Pokemon's antics. Flora turns to Ash and asks, "By the way, Ash. Did you and your siblings often get into fights as well?"
Ash sighs and says, "I don't think so. It's been a long time since I met all of them, and I won't be mad at them even though they did something bad."
"What about the times when Golly tried to scare you?" Bonnie asks.
"That's another story..." Ash turns away with a blush as everyone laughs once more.
Here is a new chapter, and this is my remake version of Meowstic episode because David and Flora are also the eldest in their own families, so I decide to change this part a bit. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter might be episode 46? The one with the Salamence, or maybe I should skip that part to write the time when they catch a Pancham.
