Chapter 28: The Fall
Arthur and Sora leave Hundred Acre Wood and return to Merlin's study, where they find Donald, Goofy, and Tod.
"Welcome back, lads." Merlin said.
"So, how'd it go?" Goofy asked.
"Great! Turns out that book actually took us to another world." Arthur said.
"Really? Did you meet someone?" Donald asked.
"Yeah, we met Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Rabbit, Tigger, Eeyore, Owl, and Roo. We even helped them with their problems." Sora said.
"And that book also had a Keyhole, which Sora locked." Arthur said.
"Well done! You two are growing excellently well." Merlin said.
Arthur looks around the study to find Twilight, Tor, Amity, Kirby, Katara, Robin, and Maka and Soul gone.
"Hey, where're Twilight, Tor, Amity, Kirby, Katara, Robin, Maka, and Soul?" Arthur asked.
"Oh, well..." Goofy stops talking.
"After you guys went into that book, Bill actually came here." Donald said.
"Really?" Sora asked.
"What was he doing here?" Arthur asked.
"Well..." Donald stops talking.
Flashback:
Arthur and Sora jump into the book and disappear in a bright light.
"Who would have thought that book is actually magical." Twilight said.
"Now, I guess all we have to do is wait." Amity said.
"Uh, boring..." Soul said.
Just then, someone enters the study.
"Hey, hey, hey! Hope I'm not missing this party!" A voice said.
"Huh?" Robin asked, as they see Bill.
"Bill?" Tor asked.
"What're you doing here?" Maka asked.
"We thought something bad happened after you stayed behind at Dracula's castle." Katara asked.
"Oh, believe me, I'm hard to get rid of. Dracula's monsters were no match for me. Besides, when that castle started crumbling, I managed to disappear to keep looking for Gideon. By the by, I came looking for you guys." Bill said.
"What for?" Donald asked.
"Well, you see, as I arrived at this town, I saw lots of strong Heartless causing trouble." Bill said.
"Again?" Amity asked.
"Where are they?" Maka asked.
"They're terrorizing the Fountain Plaza. I got rid of a few of them, but more kept coming. It's Gideon's work! He's aiming on turning this town into rubble. I can handle him, but I think it's better if we work together." Bill said.
"You mean you want us to come with you?" Robin asked.
"But Arthur and Sora..." Twilight was cut off.
"Hey, I'm sure you guys can handle a few Heartless without them. C'mon, more heads are better than one." Bill said.
"But..." Katara stops talking.
"Now, don't you fret. I'll be keeping an eye on things here." Merlin said.
"Goofy and I will also hold down the fort." Donald said.
"Are you sure?" Tor asked.
"Don't worry, it's not like the Heartless'll stand a chance against you guys and with Bill at your side, what can go wrong?" Donald asked.
"I guess." Katara said.
"Great! I'll see ya over at the Fountain Plaza!" Bill said, disappearing.
"I promise, it shouldn't take us long." Maka said.
"And if Arthur and Sora come back before we do, let them know, okay?" Katara asked.
"We will!" Donald and Goofy said.
"Okay, let's hurry." Amity said, as they leave the study.
Flashback End.
"So you let them leave to handle gthe Heartless on their own?" Arthur asked.
"They can handle the Heartless. They've been fighting by our side enough to do that." Donald said.
"But they're obviously not back yet!" Arthur said.
"Now, calm down there, Arthur. I'm confident they're fine on their own." Merlin said.
"Well, since we're back here, let's go and give 'em some backup." Sora said.
"That makes me feel better." Arthur said.
"Okay, let's go." Donald said.
"Oh, yeah! Before we go..." Sora goes for Fairy Godmother. "Fairy Godmother, we got two more Summon Gems." Sora said, showing Watergleam and Naturespark.
"Oh, wonderful! Allow me. Bibbity-Bobbity-Boo!" Fairy Godmother chanted, turning Watergleam into what looks like an elephant with big ears and wearing a yellow circus hat. "This one's name is Dumbo and I'm sure he'll be happy to help you." Fairy Godmother said and Dumbo nods happily.
"Thanks for having us, Dumbo." Sora said, as Dumbo disappears.
"Now, Bibbity-Bobbity-Boo!" Fairy Godmother chanted, turning Naturespark into a fawn. "This here is Bambi and he's very happy to be with you." Fairy Godmother said, as Bambi nudges Sora and Arthur.
"Welcome to our group, Bambi." Arthur said, as Bambi disappears.
"Bring me more stones should you find any." Fairy Godmother said.
"We will. Let's hurry." Arthur said.
(Information: Get to the Faountain Plaza!)
Arthur, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Tod leave the study and return to the Third District and make their way through town to find the rest of their friends and they make their way for the Second District.
Meanwhile in the Fountain Plaza, Twilight, Tor, Amity, Kirby, Katara, Robin, and Maka and Soul arrive to find any Heartless around, but they find the plaza to be empty with no one around.
"That's odd..." Twilight said.
"Bill said the Heartless'd be here." Robin said.
"They could appear at any time, though." Maka said.
"Right, keep your eyes open for anything." Katara said.
"Poyo..." Kirby said.
"Hey, Heartless, come on out so we can beat the crap outta you!" Soul yelled.
"What are you doing?" Amity asked.
"What? I wanna fight these heart-eating jerks!" Soul said.
"But do you have to get their attention that way?" Tor asked.
"Hold on, didn't Bill say he'd meet us here too?" Twilight asked.
"He did, but where is he?" Maka asked.
"Just what's going on?" Amity asked.
Just then, a dark portal appears and coming out is Bete Noire.
"Poyo!" Kirby yelled.
"Ugh, you..." Tor said with disdain.
"What do you want?" Robin asked.
"If you're looking Arthur and Sora, they're not here!" Katara said, getting into her Waterbending stance.
"Oh, I'm not looking for them. You see, I'm bored and my brain just hatched an idea; to torture Arthur and Sora, it's getting to the ones they care about." Bete Noire said.
"So, you're after us now?" Amity asked.
"Heh, if you're lookin' for a fight, we're not gonna back down!" Soul said.
"Hahahahaha! That's funny, 'cause you should already remember how Arthur and Sora fared against me!" Bete Noire said.
"Yeah, because you were fighting dirty!" Twilight yelled.
"And I'll do it again!" Bete Noire said, summoning his azure and crimson sabres.
"Can we really take him?" Robin asked.
"I'm not sure, but we have to stand our ground." Tor said, taking out his sword and shield.
"Poyo!" Kirby said, taking out his hammer.
"Let's send this loser packin'!" Soul said, transforming into his scythe form.
"Gladly!" Maka said.
"Remember what his attacks are and don't hold back!" Twilight said, taking out her tome.
"It's cute you think you can handle me. So, who wants to go first? I can still deal with all of you at once." Bete Noire said.
"Go ahead and try!" Katara said, bending water from the fountain and throws it at Bete Noire, who dodges the water attack.
(Boss Theme: Black Tempest)
Bete Noire dashes at great speed at the group and delivers several slashes with his azure and crimson sabres, only for Twilight to dodge and tries to shoot magic bolts from her horn at the masked warrior, who manages to avoid the magic bolts and delivers a roundhouse kick at the Alicorn, sending her back a bit, but Twilight retaliates with casting Voltra while Katara shoots needles while Robin shoots five arrows. Bete Noire dodges the lightning orbs while deflecting the ice needles and arrows while going for the three and tries to attack with hie sabres, only for Kirby to get in front and tries to attack with his hammer, making Bete Noire block the hammer with his sabres. As the two lock weapons, Kirby tries to slam his hammer at Bete Noire, who vanishes in darkness and then reappears above the puffball and unleashes a black slash streak at Kirby, who avoids them and multi jumps to deliver an aerial spin kick, only for Bete Noire to counter and delivers a slamming kick at Kirby, sending him down, but Twilight uses her magic to catch Kirby, only for Noire to strike them both.
Amity summons an Abomination hand to catch Twilight and Kirby and then shoots pink fireballs at the masked boy, who counters with his own black fireballs, causing an explosion, creating smoke and in the smoke, Amity tries to find Bete Noire, who gets behind the witchling and slashes at her with his sabres followed by unleashing a giant shadow hand and sends it to attack the Blight. Tor manages to slash at the shadow hand and then vertical slashes with his sword followed by a shield bash, only for Noire to vanish and reappears behind the Lupe knight and then delivers a wide slash with sabres and summons a giant shadow hand to deliver a punch, but Amity summons her giant Abomination hand to counter the shadow hand and the two lock their magic hands. As Amity and Bete Noire are clashing, Maka runs for the dark entity and then delivers a roundhouse slash with her scythe, but Noire summons black blades and sends them to strike at the Meister, who deflects the blades back at Noire, who disappears in darkness.
Bete Noire reappears behind Maka and tries to slash with his sabres followed by unleashing azure and crimson energy slashes, only for Maka to dodge the attacks and then delivers four slashes with her scythe followed by a flipping scythe attack to get the dark entity, who disappears and reappears and attempts to strike at Maka, but Katara uses the fountain's water to create water discs and throws them at Noire, who summons black blades to destroy the water discs. Bete Noire dashes at Katara to deliver slashes with his azure and crimson sabres, but Tor manages to block the attack and then uses Dancing Blade to try and strike the masked warrior, who retaliates with a blade stand kick at the knight. Robin uses Arrow Rain and rains down many arrows to get Noire while Katara sends an ice dagger at Kirby, who inhales it, becoming Ice Kirby and then unleashes ice spikes, only for Noire to destroy the ice spikes while dodging the raining arrows and dashes at the two to deliver a cyclone slash attack with his sabres. Both Twilight and Amity prepare to attack with Twilight firing a magic beam while Amity uses her Abomination to create a bow and fires goopy arrows, only for Noire to create a dark barrier to avoid the attacks and then creates a black fireball, throws it in the air, as it splits apart, becoming more black fireballs and they rain down at the group. Twilight and Amity conjure a barrier to block off the raining black fireballs, as Tor uses his Light Mote to deliver three diagonal slashes with his sword followed by unleashing light rays while Maka uses Reaper Dance while Katara delivers water whip attacks, but Bete Noire dodges every attack and slashes at the three with his sabres and unleashes black blades to strike.
Amity summons two Abominations to attack Bete Noire, who destroys the Abominations and then throws his azure sabre at the witchling, who dodges, but Bete Noire reappears, catches his azure sabre and slashes at the Blight it followed by another slash with his crimson sabre and then creates an X shaped azure and crimson slash streak and sends it at them, only for Tor to block with his shield, allowing Kirby to swing his hammer. Bete Noire counters against the hammer attack and then upper slashes at Kirby, sending him into the air and then aerial slashes at the puffball, who fights back while Twilight flies into the air and casts Blazra to try and deal burning damage to the dark entity, who vanishes in black mist and reappears above and delivers a diving strike. Robin shoots four arrows at Bete Noire, who throws his sabres at the group while vanishing, as they deflect the flying sabres, but Noire reappears while grabbing his sabres and delivers another cyclone slash attack at the group, who try to stop him, only for Bete Noire to get them, dealing damage and sending them back. Twilight casts Frostra while Kirby delivers a star kick while Maka uses Scythe-nado, only for Noire to counter the attacks with unleashing shadow hands to deliver many attacks, but Amity shoots pink fireballs while Katara shoots water beams while Tor uses Sword Thrust while Robin uses Arrow Barrage, but Noire retaliates with unleashing azure and crimson slash streaks. The group dodge the attacks, as Robin uses Cyclone Arrow while Katara double water whips, only for Bete Noire to vanish in black mist and then reappears and then vertical slashes with his azure sabre followed by a diagonal slash with his crimson sabre. Twilight unleashes magic blades while Amity has her Abomination use Hammer Fist while Kirby uses Hammer Spin, but Bete Noire counters and throws his sabres and dashes while striking, only for Tor to use Sword Spin while Maka uses Scythe Wheel, but Bete Noire dodges and then unleashes both azure and crimson slash streaks and strikes the group, sending them back.
"So, had enough yet? I'm just getting started and I hardly broke a sweat!" Bete Noire taunted.
"Your arrogance is about to be your downfall." Robin said.
"After all, we're still standing!" Katara said.
"Poyo!" Kirby said.
"You won't defeat us, as long as we're fighting together!" Twilight said.
"Not for long!" Bete Noire said.
"And you have us to deal with." A voice said, as they see Azula arriving.
"Azula!" Katara said with hatred.
"Do you truly believe you can defeat all of us?" A voice asked, as they see the Darkest Faerie arriving.
"You!" Tor yelled.
"Took you two long enough. I was having much fun by myself." Bete Noire said.
"Yes, yes. You're doing well so far, but remember, this is a team effort." Azula said.
"And together, we'll put them in their place!" The Darkest Faerie said.
"Fine by me! I want to settle my score with you, Azula! I'll never forgive you for you've done to my brother, Toph, and Aang!" Katara yelled.
"Don't worry, you'll be joining them soon." Azula said.
"I'm gonna settle my score with you! I'll make you wish you stayed in stone!" Tor said.
"Very well, Lupe! I was looking forward to my revenge!" The Darkest Faerie said.
"This is gonna be fun! Let's see who survives this battle royale!" Bete Noire said.
"Shall we?" Azula asked, getting into het Firebending stance.
"Thought you'd never ask!" Katara said.
"Who's ready?" Maka asked.
"We all are!" Twilight said, as they charge at the three villains.
Meanwhile, Arthur, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Tod arrive at the Second District and make their way through, but then, a dark orb attacks, causing a dark explosion, sending them back.
"Ugh, what now?" Donald asked.
"Oh, so sorry, y'all! Am I in yer way?" A voice asked, as they see Gideon.
"Outta the way, Gideon!" Sora yelled.
"We don't have time for you!" Arthur said.
"Oh, I beg to differ! I have ALL the time in the world fer y'all! Ya see, you've done a dang good job of playin' hero, but this ends NOW!" Gideon said, as a vine appears and grabs Arthur, sending him to a roof.
"Artie!" Sora said.
"C'mon!" Goofy said.
"Uh, uh, uh! I got you three a nice new playmate. Make sure y'all play nice!" Gideon said, as a giant Heartless appears and it's what looks like a giant black and blue robot with yellow eyes, launchers on its back, spiked gauntlets, cannon on its chest, a giant sword for the right hand, a flail for the left hand, and the Heartless sigil on its face.
"Oh, boy..." Donald said, taking out his staff.
"We don't have a choice. We gotta deal with this Heartless!" Sora said.
"Well, I'll let y'all be to have some fun. I've got somewhere to go. Later." Gideon said, disappearing.
The vine sends Arthur to a roof of a building and Arthur recovers to see Morgan and Kay.
"Finally, some time together alone." Morgan said.
"I really don't want this..." Arthur said.
"Well, ya don't have a choice, pipsqueak! Either fight or I'll just kill ya!" Kay said.
"You would really want that? I don't understand, why are you guys doing this? Is this really what you want?" Arthur asked.
"Oh, don't act like you know anything, Artie! We both want power, nothing more!" Morgan said.
"And you're in our way of it! So, hold still and lemme put you down like a worthless dog!" Kay said, taking out his sword.
"Don't make me do something I'll regret, Kay." Arthur said, taking out Excalibur.
"First, I'll kill ya and then, I'll take that sword! Don't worry, no one'll miss you!" Kay said, charging at Arthur.
(Boss Theme: Squirming Evil)
(Information: Fight off Kay!)
Kay delivers two horizontal slashes with his sword followed by a giant diagonal slash, only for Arthur to block and counters the attack and delivers three slashes with Excalibur followed by Magic Pulse and then casts Gale, but Kay strikes back with a leaping slash followed by a giant sword spin slash, but Arthur casts Hydrora for protection and then double slashes with Excalibur followed by casting Frostra. Kay retaliates with two giant swings from his sword, only for Arthur to cast Paralyzra to stun Kay and then vertical slashes with Excalibur followed by Crescent Slash, only for Kay to recover, jumps back, and takes out his bow, as well as a blue Magic Stone and puts it on his arrows and starts firing arrows to create ice spikes. Arthur dodges the ice arrows and the ice spikes and then casts Blazra to deal some burning damage to the brute, who retaliates with a double sword slash and then fires more ice arrows, only for Arthur to deflect them and then casts Voltra followed by casting Quakra, but Kay delivers another leaping sword attack followed by a giant spinning slash. Arthur manages to dodge out of the way and tries to diagonal slash with Excalibur, only for Kay to deliver a giant punch at the blond to knock him back, but Arthur summons Ignia, who unleashes flaming pillars and then summons Aeria, who unleashes whirlwinds, but Kay fires more ice arrows at Arthur, who dodges, only for Kay to fire more arrows.
As Kay keeps firing more arrows, Arthur counters and then casts Gale to knock the brute back, but Kay takes out a yellow Magic Stone and puts it on his sword, lighting it with lightning magic and delivers four slashes with his sword followed by unleashing lightning beams, only for Arthur to counter with casting Voltra and they clash with their respective lightning magic, but Kay tries to retaliate with a lightning sword spin. Arthur casts Blazra at Kay, who retaliates with firing ice arrows, only for the blond to deflect them again and then uses Glacies' ice magic to summon ice spikes and blizzards, making Kay back off, but Kay thrusts his lightning coated sword to the ground and unleashes a powerful stream of lightning to electrocute the blond, dealing damage. Arthur casts Mend to heal himself and then casts Quakra while summoning Naturae to unleash vines and rocks to attack Kay, who retaliates with swinging his lightning sword followed by a giant sword swing while unleashing waves of lightning, only for Arthur to counter and the two foster brothers lock swords and Kay delivers headbutt, stunning the blond. Kay delivers five slashes with his sword followed by unleashing beams of lightning to deal damage, but Arthur recovers and then diagonal slashes with Excalibur followed by casting Voltra and then casts Gale to send Kay back, only for Kay to rain down many ice arrows, creating more ice spikes, as they land on the ground. Arthur tries to dodge the raining ice arrows, only for Kay to keep slashing with his lightning sword, but Arthur delivers two vertical slashes with Excalibur followed by casting Frostra, only for Kay to unleash more lightning from his sword.
"No! I won't let you!" Arthur said, as Excalibur summons the blue Faerie Heart, which transforms into a Faerie with blue watery hair, a blue scaly tailfin, wearing a cyan bra, and seashell earrings.
"It's sooo good to be out! Call me Hydria. So, how can I help you?" Hydria asked.
"Give Kay a good soaking." Arthur said.
"Sure." Hydria said, unleashing beams of water at Kay and then unleashes a whirlpool of water to deal great damage. "That's all I can do now. Call me again, okay?" Hydria said, disappearing.
"You are sooo ANNOYING!" Kay yelled.
"And you're horrible!" Arthur retaliated.
"I'm gonna finally wrap my fingers 'round your puny neck!" Kay yelled.
Kay takes out another Magic Stone, this time being violet and puts it on his sword, covering it with wind and Kay slashes at Arthur with his sword followed by a huge sword swing, unleashing a giant whirlwind, but Arthur triple slashes with Excalibur followed by Magic Pulse and then casts Frostra, only for Kay to deliver two slashes and then unleashes two gusts of winds. Arthur dodges the attacks and then horizontal slashes with Excalibur followed by a roundhouse slash and then casts Gale, sending his foster brother back, but Kay takes out his Fire Magic Stone, puts it on his arrows, and then starts firing his fire arrows at Arthur, who casts Hydrora for protection and then uses Cyclone Blade and spins around while slashing and then unleashes his giant magic wave, dealing damage. Kay becomes very angry and tries to slash at Arthur with his wind coated sword followed by unleashing a giant tornado, but Arthur counters with casting Blazra followed by casting Quakra, only for Kay to fire more fire arrows, but Arthur deflects them and then uses Mjolnir and slams his sword while unleashing many magic waves. Kay retaliates with raining down his fire arrows, creating fire pillars, as they land on the ground, but Arthur dodges the raining fire arrows and delivers five slashes with Excalibur followed by two roundhouse slashes and then uses Crescent Slash, sending Kay back. Kay retaliates with unleashing two giant tornadoes from his sword and then spins while firing more fire arrows, only for Arthur to dodge and then diagonal slashes with Excalibur followed by a horizontal slash and then casts Voltra, only for Kay to deliver five giant swings with his sword, but Arthur locks swords with him again and Arthur manages to deliver a headbutt, dealing some damage.
"Enough is enough, Kay..." Arthur said.
"You stupid little...! This is FAR from over!" Kay yelled.
"I don't have time for this. I need to..." Arthur was cut off, as an orb of darkness strikes the blond.
"Oh, did we mention we have a new friend?" Morgan asked.
"What?" Arthur asked.
"Hey, come out, ya insect!" Kay called, as the masked figure appears.
"What...? That's not...Bete Noire, is he?" Arthur asked.
"Oh, no! This is a new minion!" Morgan said.
"Hi! My name's Cauchemar! I've been looking all over for you, Arthur! Looking to KILL you!" Cauchemar said, laughing manically.
"K-Kill me...?" Arthur said.
"Well, we'll leave you to have some fun." Morgan said.
"Don't kill 'im! He's MINE next time!" Kay said, as they leave.
"Hahahaha! Come on, Arthur! Let's play my favorite game: Darkest Death!" Cauchemar said, readying his claws.
"I really don't want to fight you, but you're not giving me a choice." Arthur said.
(Boss Theme: Terreur Nocturne)
(Information: Fight off Cauchemar!)
Cauchemar dashes at Arthur at great speed and delivers many slashes with his claws followed by a leaping somersault slash, but Arthur blocks and counters with five slashes with Excalibur followed by Magic Pulse and then uses Crystallia's crystal magic to summon crystal spikes and crystal blades, but Cauchemar backs away and then conjures black claw streaks and sends them to strike at the blond, who dodges. Arthur casts Hydrora and then casts Quakra, only for Cauchemar to dodge and triple slashes with his claws followed by unleashing dark needles and sends them to attack Arthur, who deflects them, only for the dark entity to rain down more dark needles at the blond, who dodges out of the way and casts Blazra. Cauchemar unleashes spikes from the ground and then unleashes a giant four-bladed star and sends it spinning around to attack the blond, who dodges, but the star keeps spinning around, only for Arthur to vertical slash at the masked boy with Excalibur followed by a roundhouse slash, but Cauchemar retaliates with spinning attacks with his claws and jumps to deliver a diving attack. Arthur counters with an upper slash attack and then aerial slashes with Excalibur followed by casting Voltra, but Cauchemar backs off and and conjures more dark needles and sends them to attack followed by raining down more dark needles, only for Arthur to cast Frostra to freeze the masked boy. Cauchemar manages to free himself and then rapid slashes at the blond with his claws, only for Arthur to block and tries to counter, but Cauchemar dashes around and delivers a giant tornado claw attack and then delivers a giant claw attack, but Arthur retaliates with five slashes with Excalibur followed by Crescent Slash.
"Hahaha! This is fun! Very fun! Let's make it more fun!" Cauchemar said, summoning a sword that looks like Excalibur, but the blade is black while the hilt is dark purple.
"That can't be a magic sword, is it?" Arthur asked.
"Hyhahahahaha! Prepare to die, Arthur!" Cauchemar said.
Cauchemar dashes at Arthur to deliver rapid slashes with his sword followed by striking with his claws and thenunleashes another four-bladed star attack, but Arthur dodges every attack, only for the four-bladed star to go around and deal damage to the blond, who casts Mend and then double vertical slashes with Excalibur followed by casting Blazra, but Cauchemar slashes with his sword followed by unleashing needles from his arms. Arthur blocks and counters with three horizontal slashes with Excalibur followed by a somersault slash and then casts Frostra, only for Cauchemar to retaliate with his tornado claw strike and then unleashes black claw streaks, but Arthur attempts to dodge the attacks, only for the dark entity to dash all over while slashing with his claws. Arthur tries to dodge the claw attacks, but Cauchemar unleashes dark needles all over, only for Arthur to block the dark needles and then delivers four slashes with Excalibur followed by Mjolnir and unleashes many magic waves to deal damage. Cauchemar retaliates with many rapid slashes with his sword followed by unleashing needles from the ground, only for Arthur to dodge the rising needles and then delivers a vertical slash, but the dark entity blocks the sword attack with his sword and the two lock swords, as Cauchemar punches Arthur's stomach while unleashing spikes from the masked boy's arms, dealing more damage. Arthur casts Mend to heal himself and then casts Voltra to strike with his orbs of lightning, only for Cauchemar to dash around while slashing with his sword and claws and then unleashes another four-bladed star to deal damage, but Arthur dodges and delivers three slashes with Excalibur followed by Magic Pulse. Cauchemar dashes at great speed and rains down many dark needles to strike, only for Arthur to cast Hydrora and then delivers four slashes with Excalibur followed by a roundhouse slash, but Cauchemar unleashes more needles from the ground and diagonal slashes with his sword, only for Arthur to retaliate with another sword attack.
Cauchemar vanishes in dark mist and then reappears behind Arthur and delivers a giant swing with his sword, dealing damage to Arthur and then fires many dark needles to do more damage to the blond boy, knocking him back while bleeding.
"Hahahahaha! This is SOOOO much fun! I can't wait to kill you!" Cauchemar said.
"N-No...! I'm NOT going down like this...!" Arthur said, getting up with Excalibur supporting him.
"Oh, you wanna play with me more? Well, wish I could, BUUUUT, I actually can't. Next time, though, we'll have MORE fun! Then I'll kill you! Until we meet again, brother!" Cauchemar said, vanishing in darkness.
"Wait!" Arthur called, but Cauchemar is gone. "D-Did he just call me 'brother'? B-But how...?" Arthur was cut off, as they see an explosion. "Oh, no! Sora!" Arthur said, getting off the building.

The Heartless known as Omega Armor swings its sword hand at the trio, who dodge, but the giant Heartless slams its flail on the ground, causing a quake, stunning them and then uses its launchers to fire lasers at the trio, but Goofy blocks with his shield, allowing Sora to deliver four aerial slashes with Kingdom Key followed by Hurricane Blast while Donald casts Blizzara followed by casting Earthra while Goofy uses Tornado. Omega Armor jumps high into the air and then tries to land on the trio, who move, only for Omega Armor to use its cannon chest to fire a giant cannonball, but Goofy uses Goofy Bash and throws his shield while Donald casts Watera followed by casting Thundra, but Omega Armor delivers four slashes with its sword hand followed by slamming its flail hand. Sora blocks every attack and counters with three slashes with Kingdom Key followed by Ripple Drive and then casts Fira, only for Omega Armor to fire more lasers from its launchers, but Donald casts Gravira at the launchers while Goofy uses Rocket at the cannon chest. Omega Armor jumps high into the air and tries to land on the trio again, only for Sora to cast Stopra, freezing the giant Heartless and then aerial slashes with Kingdom Key followed by an aerial spin slash while Goofy uses Charge, but Omega Armor swings its flail and then fires another giant cannonball, only for Donald to cast Earthra followed by casting Fira. Omega Armor vertical slashes with its sword hand followed by a spinning slash attack and then slams its flail hand to strike, but Goofy uses Tornado while Donald casts Blizzara followed by casting Gravira while Sora uses Strike Raid and throws his Keyblade four times and then delivers the final Keyblade throw.
Omega Armor gets angry and then spins all over the district to get the trio, who try to dodge, only for the giant Heartless to keep spinning all over while deal damage to the trio, who recover and both Sora and Donald cast Cure while Goofy uses Goofy Bash and throws his shield, but Omega Armor uses its launchers to fire giant lasers to deal some damage, only for Donald to cast Aero for protection and then casts Thundra. Omega Armor fires two giant cannonballs from its chest cannon and then delivers a giant swing with its sword hand, only for Sora to parry and then vertical slashes with Kingdom Key followed by Blitz and then casts Earthra, but Omega Armor jumps high into the air and tries to land on the trio, but Donald casts Stopra to freeze the giant Heartless. Goofy uses Charge while Sora delivers five slashes with Kingdom Key followed by a diagonal slash and then casts Blizzara, only for Omega Armor to use its launchers to rain down giant lasers to try and deal damage to the trio, but Sora aerial slashes with Kingdom Key followed by Hurricane Blast while Donald casts Gravira followed by casting Fira. Omega Armor delivers many slashes with its sword hand followed by a swinging attack with its flail hand, but Goofy uses Rocket while Sora delivers four slashes with Kingdom Key, only for Omega Armor to begin spinning around the district to strike again, only for Donald to cast Aero and then casts Earthra. Omega Armor jumps high into the air and then tries to land on the trio, who dodge and Sora aerial slashes with Kingdom Key followed by an aerial somersault slash while Goofy uses Charge while Donald casts Watera followed by casting Blizzara, but Omega Armor uses its chest cannon to fire three giant cannonballs.
The trio dodge the giant cannonballs, but Omega Armor uses its launchers to rain down more giant missiles at the trio, who dodge and Sora uses Strike Raid and throws his Keyblade four times and then delivers the final Keyblade throw while Donald casts Thundra followed by casting Gravira while Goofy uses Tornado, but Omega Armor delivers two giant slashes with its sword hand followed by swinging its flail hand. The trio dodge the attacks and Donald casts Thundra followed by casting Fira while Goofy uses Goofy Turbo, only for Omega Armor to use its launchers to unleash more giant lasers and then uses its chest cannon to fire three giant cannonballs, only for Sora to deflect the third cannonball back at the Heartless to deal damage. Omega Armor retaliates with slamming its flail hand to the ground to try and stun the trio, who dodge, but the giant Heartless delivers five slashes with its sword hand, only for Goofy to block with his shield and then uses Charge while Donald casts Watera followed by casting Gravira, but Omega Armor jumps high in the air to land on the trio. Sora casts Stopra to freeze the giant Heartless and then aerial slashes with Kingdom Key followed by two aerial vertical slashes and then casts Thundra while Goofy uses Tornado, only for Omega Armor to spin all over the district to attack the trio, who manage to avoid the spinning attack. Omega Armor keeps spinning all over the district, but Donald casts Stopra to freeze the giant Heartless and then casts Earthra while Goofy uses Charge, but Omega Armor delivers slashes with its sword hand and then swings its flail hand, only for Sora to use Sonic Blade and dashes all over and then delivers the final dash attack and they finish off Omega Armor.
Omega Armor starts malfunctioning while a giant heart flies out of the giant Heartless, as it explodes into pieces, which disappear.
"Glad that's over with." Sora said, as Arthur arrives.
"Guys, you okay?" Arthur asked.
"Yeah, you?" Donald asked.
"I had a run-in with Kay and a new enemy, but I'm kinda okay." Arthur said.
"That's good to hear. Now we gotta hurry and see if the others're okay." Goofy said.
"Right. Let's head on over to the Fountain Plaza!" Sora said and they nod.

Arthur, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Tod hurry through the Second District and head for the big doors, taking them back to the First District and they later find Cid.
"Cid." Sora said.
"Howdy! What can I do fer y'all?" Cid asked.
"Did you see the others past here?" Arthur asked.
"Yup! I saw 'em rushin' their way through here. They told me they were headin' fer the Fountain Plaza. I'd imagine it was dealin' with Heartless there." Cid said.
"Thanks, Cid. We're on our way right now." Sora said.
"You fellers watch yer backs now. Whatever's goin' on, hope they're doin' okay." Cid said.
"Yeah, me too." Arthur said.
The five keep moving through the First District and they find Pinocchio standing outside Geppetto's house.
"Pinocchio, you saw Twilight, Tor, Amity, Kirby, Katara, Robin, Maka, and Soul, right?" Arthur asked.
"Yeah, I saw them moving past here. I asked what was their hurry, but they said they had to go to the Fountain Plaza to fight some Heartless." Pinocchio said.
"Did you see anyone else?" Donald asked.
"Actually, I think I saw a man wearing a yellow suit and a black hat and carrying a cane moving through the plaza." Pinocchio said.
"Gawrsh, that sounds like Bill." Goofy said.
"They're already at the Fountain Plaza by now." Sora said.
"We REALLY need to hurry. I wanna see if they're okay." Arthur said.
"To the back alley!" Donald said.
"I hope you guys will be okay. I feel like somethin' bad's gonna happen." Pinocchio said.
"Yeah, me too, Pinoke..." Arthur said.
The five hurry for the door to head for the back alley.
Back at the Fountain Plaza, the fighting continues, as Katara and Azula are clashing between water and blue fire and Azula sends out daggers of blue flames while Katara dodges them and sends water shots followed by ice needles while Amity shoots pink fireballs while Robin fires four arrows, only for Azula to make a blue fire kick to stop their attacks and shoots another blast of blue flames while the Darkest Faerie unleashes purple lightning to strike. Twilight casts Shellra and Hydrora to protect everyone from the attacks and then casts Frostra while Tor uses Dancing Blade to strike at the villains while Maka uses Reaper Dance, but Azula creates blue flaming whips and lashes at the group to attack while Bete Noire slashes with his sabres and creates shadow hands to deliver punches. Kirby defeats the shadow hands and then uses Hammer Spin, but the Darkest Faerie creates pillars of darkness to strike at the group, who dodge and Tor uses Sky Dance to aerial slash at the evil Faerie with his sword while Maka throws her scythe to try and attack. Bete Noire counters with a black fire spell to strike at the two, only for Amity to create two Abominations to attack with hammers and axes while Robin uses Windmill Bow, but Azula fires blue fireballs to strike the two, only for Katara to counter with sending beams of water, but Bete Noire gets behind the Waterbender and delivers a powerful slash with his sabres, destroying her braid. Kirby becomes furious and then slams his hammer to cause a quake, making Azula and Noire stumble a bit, allowing Twilight to unleash five magic orbs to send to strike and then casts Blazra to deal some damage to the villains, but Azula retaliates with unleashing lightning while the Darkest Faerie unleashes purple flames to damage them.
Twilight and Amity both conjure a magic barrier to protect everyone from the attack, only for Bete Noire to unleash a giant black lightning strike to destroy the barrier and then unleashes black blades to deal damage to the group.
"How pathetic. How you fools manage to survive is beyond my comprehension, but I promise we'll be fixing that!" Azula said, making more lightning.
"You'll have to try harder than that, Fire witch!" Katara yelled darkly.
"No matter what, we're not backing DOWN!" Tor yelled.
"You people sure are gluttons for punishment." The Darkest Faerie said.
"And more punishment, I'll gladly bring!" A voice said, as a beam of darkness attacks the group, who dodge.
"Oh, NOW what?" Twilight asked.
"Howdy, everybody! Hope no one'll mind me joinin' in on the fun." The voice said, revealing to be Gideon.
"Took your time, did ya?" Bete Noire asked.
"Get lost, you little brat!" Maka yelled.
"Oh, no can do! I aim to erase y'all once and fer all!" Gideon said.
"And we'll all make sure of THAT!" Another voice said, revealing to be Morgan, Silver Knight, and Kay.
"Well, look at this, seven on seven. I think that sounds like a fair fight." Silver Knight said.
"Hehehe, except, we'll be the ones winnin' this time!" Kay said, smirking.
"Don't be so sure!" Robin said.
"Poyo!" Kirby said.
"We're the ones gonna win this fight!" Amity said.
"And you'll be sent home crying!" Tor said.
"Well then, let's see who will survive." The Darkest Faerie said.
Bete Noire dashes all over the plaza and delivers many slashes with his azure and crimson sabres followed by unleashing ten shadow hands while Gideon conjures ten orbs of darkness and sends them to attack the group while Morgan unleashes a purple fireball and a blue fireball and sends them to attack, only for Twilight to cast Shellra and Hydrora for protection and then casts Quakra to deal some damage to the three while Kirby uses Final Cutter. Azula counters with fireing two bolts of lightning while Kay puts his Lightning Magic Stone on his arrows and starts firing many lightning arrows to attack, but Robin counters with firing his own arrows and then uses Arrow Rain while Katara uses Ice Rain and they rain down arrows and ice needles down at the villains. The Darkest Faerie conjures a dark barrier to protect her comrades and then unleashes dark lightning to strike while Gideon conjures dark spikes from the ground to try and deal damage to the group, only for Tor to use his Light Mote and delivers a spinning sword slash while unleashing a giant wave of light to deal damage while Maka uses Scythe Wheel. Morgan unleashes a huge blizzard mist to deal freezing damage and then unleashes lightning to strike down while Silver Knight delivers three brutal slashes with his zweihander followed by unleashing chains of darkness to deal damage, but Twilight retaliates with Barrier Surge followed by casting Gale while Amity shoots pink fireballs. Kay retaliates with deliver five slashes with his sword followed by firing three arrows while Azula delivers three blue flame kicks while unleashing three blue flame waves while Gideon conjures black whirlwinds to deal damage to the group while Bete Noire unleashes azure and crimson slash streaks.
Tor blocks with his shield and then delivers vertical slashes with his sword followed by Dancing Blade while Kirby uses Stone deliver a crashing strike, only for Silver Knight to retaliate with vertical slashes with his zweihander followed by unleashing a giant black wave while Bete Noire diagonal slashes with his sabres followed by a blade stand kick and then unleashes an X-shaped azure and crimson slash streak attack. Amity conjures a barrier and summons three Abominations to send to attack with axes, hammers, and flails, but the Darkest Faerie destroys the Abominations with dark beams and then unleashes pillars of darkness at the witchling while Kay uses his Ice Magic Stone on his sword and delivers brutal slashes followed by unleashing ice spikes. The group dodge the attacks, as Maka delivers three attacks with her scythe followed by Scythe-nado while Robin uses Cyclone Arrow, only for Azula to deliver a flipping blue flame strike while Gideon creates black blades and sends them to strike while Morgan unleashes thorned vines to deliver lashing attacks. Twilight retaliates with unleashing magic blades while Katara uses the water from the fountain to create giant water whips and delivers lashes with them, but Bete Noire destroys the water whips and then slashes at the Waterbender, only for Maka to counter and tries to strike with her scythe, but Azula unleashes lightning at the Meister, destroying her pigtails and leaving her hair a mess. Amity becomes angry and conjures a giant pink fireball to attack, only for Morgan to conjure orbs of black magic and sends them at the Blight, destroying her hair, but Tor slashes with his sword followed by a shield bash while Robin uses Arrow Barrage while Twilight casts Frostra while Katara shoots water beams.
"Okay, that's it!" Gideon said, as he, Morgan, and the Darkest Faerie unleash a giant sphere of darkness, dealing massive damage.
"My turn!" Bete Noire said, dashing all over while slashing with his sabres while unleashing black blades and the black blades deal massive damage.
"Time for the final strike!" Silver Knight said, unleashing black thorns and chains and then delivers many slashes with his zweihander and then delivers a giant slash with his zweihander while unleashing a powerful darkness, dealing very powerful damage on the group.
"So, do you now surrender?" Azula asked.
"If that's all you got, then it shows how worthless you are." Bete Noire said.
"Judging from your injuries, you still won't give up, will ya?" Kay asked.
"It won't take an Oracle witch to tell who's going to win the fight!" Amity yelled.
"We'll keep fighting with everything we have!" Robin yelled.
"Oh, is that right? Here, lemme give y'all a nice taste of reality!" Gideon said, as he fires a beam of darkness while Morgan unleashes purple fireballs while Silver Knight unleashes a giant black wave while Azula unleashes lightning while Bete Noire unleashes azure and crimson slash streaks while Kay fires arrows while the Darkest Faerie unleashes a giant dark orb.
"We can't give up now...!" Tor said.
"No, we're not gonna!" Twilight said.
"Right! We'll..." Katara was cut off, as something attacks from behind.
"Katara!" Amity cried shocked.
"Poyo!" Kirby cried also shocked.
"Hey, what's..." Maka was cut off, as something attacks her.
"Maka!" Soul cried, reverting back to his human form.
"What's going on?" Tor asked, as something strikes Twilight from behind.
"Twi!" Robin cried.
"What's this now?" Azula asked.
"Hehehe, he's here." Gideon said, smirking evilly.
"What?" Kay asked.
The group turn to see what attacked Katara, Maka, and Twilight and to everyone's shock, they see Bill with blades on the girls' backs.
"Ooopsie, did I do that? So sorry!" Bill said.
"B-Bill...?!" Twilight asked.
"Why...?!" Maka asked.
"Why? Did ya really think I was your friend from the start? It's REALLY funny how dumb how people are! I played you idiots like violins!" Bill said, laughing manically, as he puts the blades into Katara, Twilight, and Maka, making them scream.
"Hey, knock it off!" Soul yelled.
"So, you're not really our ally?! Who or what are you really?!" Amity demanded.
"Talk!" Tor yelled, pointing his sword.
"Oh, sorry. Where are my manners? Guess I was so ahead of myself." Bill said, removing the blades, making Twilight, Katara, and Maka fall.
"But you told us to come here and said the Heartless were attacking again..." Soul said.
"Um, hello! That was a LIE! It's what I'm best at! You people really ARE stupid!" Bill said.
"But, but..." Amity was cut off.
"Look, it couldn't get any more simple. I told you to come here, only for you idiots to be separated and ambushed and then BAM! Big reveal! Bill was NEVER one for keeping peace!" Bill said.
"Well, I'd say you performed greatly! Like how we planned it." Gideon said, clapping.
"Just who are you really?" Azula asked.
"Oops, once again, got ahead of myself. Name's Bill Cipher or you can call me future lord of the realm." Bill introduced, bowing while tipping his hat. "Lemme guess, Princess Azula of the Fire Nation, the Darkest Faerie, Kay, Morgan Le Fay, and Silver Knight!" Bill said.
"Hey, how do you know us?" Kay asked.
"Oh, I know lots of things! LOTS OF THINGS!" Bill said and turns to Bete Noire. "Oh, and how could I forget you, Bete Noire, or should I call you Taran?" Bill asked, as Bete Noire removes his mask to show his face.
"That name means nothing to me now. Taran died when my world vanished and I became Bete Noire." Bete Noire said.
"Still, you're pretty fine with darkness in your heart!" Bill said.
"Okay, Bill, what do you want?" Morgan asked.
"Ooh, right, I keep getting ahead of myself! Listen, I heard your bosses, Maleficent, Dr. Facilier, and Ruber are working to get to the door that leads to the heart of all worlds, right?" Bill asked.
"What business is that of yours?!" Bete Noire demanded.
"And how come Gideon kept this from us until now?!" Silver Knight demanded.
"Hey, hey, relax, you two! I'm not looking to compete with you. Rather, I wanna help you out!" Bill said.
"What's in it for you?" Azula asked.
"Yeah, we know ya want somethin' outta it." Kay said.
"Oh, nothing much. Just want some part of the world conquest thing. I mean, who doesn't want that?" Bill asked.
Amity conjures a giant pink fireball while Robin aims his arrow and they try to attack Bill, only for Bill to disappear and reappear and delivers slashes at the two with his Caneblade.
"Hehehe! You sly dogs! Trying to sneak attack while I'm talking? Clever, but no. Besides, that's MY thing." Bill said.
"I don't think we should trust him." Bete Noire said, putting his mask back on.
"And to think you've been in plottin' with him, ya cockroach!" Kay said.
"Does it matter? Besides, I don't trust him that much, but he DID take advantage of their trust." Gideon said.
"Yes, he fooled them quite easily." Azula said, looking down at Twilight, Katara, and Maka and smirks.
"I know that smirk and I'm on board." Morgan said.
"Well, Bill, if ya wanna officially help us, you'll have to prove yer loyalty." Gideon said.
"Ooooh, sounds interesting! It's like an initiation! So, what do I have to do?" Bill asked.
"Beat these three fools within an inch of their lives!" Azula said, pointing at Twilight, Katara, and Maka, shocking Tor, Amity, Kirby, Robin, and Soul.
"Do this and we'll believe what you say." The Darkest Faerie said.
"Oh-hooooo! That sounds FUN! Okay, time to prove myself!" Bill said, unsheathing his blade.
"No!" Amity yelled.
"We won't let you!" Soul yelled, as they try to stop Bill, but Bete Noire and Silver Knight get in the way.
"Instead of worrying about them, you should be more worried about yourselves!" Bete Noire said.
"We're not done just yet!" Morgan said, as they attack the five.
Bill walks over to the three girls.
"P-Please...don't..." Katara pleaded.
"If you have a heart, you..." Twilight was cut off.
"Sorry, Sparkle, but what gives my heart joy is pain and misery! No one's gonna help ya! Don't worry, though. This'll only hurt the first MILLION TIMES!" Bill said, laughing manically while raising his blade.
Meanwhile, Arthur, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Tod arrvive at the back alley to head for the Fountain Plaza, but they hear a scream.
"What was that?" Goofy asked.
"Sounds like trouble." Sora said, as they hear another scream.
"Wait, that sounds like Twilight, Katara, and Maka!" Donald said.
"You're right, Donald! They're in danger!" Arthur said, as they hear fighting noises.
"We gotta hurry!" Sora said and they four rush their way through the back alley while fighting off many Heartless in their way and keep moving through the back alley, as they hear more screams from Twilight, Katara, and Maka, as well as more fighting noises, so they hurry and later, they arrive at the end of the back alley and head for the next area.
Back at the Fountain Plaza, Tor, Amity, Kirby, Robin, and Soul are fighting Silver Knight, Morgan, Bete Noire, Gideon, Azula, the Darkest Faerie, and Kay, as Silver Knight vertical slashes with his zweihander while Morgan shoots purple fireballs while Bete Noire summons shadow hands, only for Tor to use Parry and slashes with his sword followed by bashing with his shield while Amity uses her Abomination to use Shoulder Tackle. Gideon unleashes his shadow hands to attack followed by unleashing spikes of darkness while Azula unleashes blue flames while the Darkest Faerie unleashes dark lightning while Kay delivers slashes with his sword, only for Kirby to use Hammer Spin while Robin uses Windmill Bow while Soul transforms his right arm into his scythe blade and delivers a strike. Morgan and Silver Knight unleash thorns to try and ensnare the group, allowing Gideon to unleash beams of darkness while Bete Noire unleashes four black blades while Azula unleashes lightning while the Darkest Faerie creates waves of darkness while Kay fires many arrows.
During the fight, Bill looks down at Twilight, Katara, and Maka, who are now severely injured with many bruises, Twilight's wings have slash marks, Katara's clothes are ruined, Maka's clothes are torn, and their hair are even messier.
"Awwww, what's wrong, girlies? Don't like pain? That's too bad, since no one's gonna save you! You're powerless to me! You're all useless! Hyhahahahaha!" Bill said, laughing manically, as he attacks with his Caneblade again, but stops.
"Whar are you doing?" Azula asked.
"Yer supposed to make 'em suffer!" Gideon said.
"Hold on, Giddy! Arthur and Sora are coming. They're gonna what's going on and it's better to save my re-intro." Bill said, putting his Caneblade away while covering his face with his hat.
"Are you serious?" Kay asked.
"I, for one, think that's very clever." The Darkest Faerie said.
"Not a bad idea. Silver Knight, we're done here. Let's go." Morgan said.
"Fine by me." Silver Knight said, as they disappear in a dark portal.
"This fight is not over!" Tor said.
"We're still here and we're going to stop you!" Amity said.
"Oh, shut up! Your other friends are coming and we're gonna kill every last one of you." Bete Noire said.
Arthur, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Tod arrive at the Fountain Plaza and they're shocked to see what's going on.
"Oh, no!" Arthur said shocked.
Sora sees Bete Noire, Gideon, Azula, the Darkest Faerie, and Kay.
"Hey, get away from our friends!" Sora yelled, taking out his Keyblade.
"Well, look who decided to show up." Gideon said.
"Took your time, did you?" Azula asked.
"Arthur! Sora!" Amity said, as she, Tor, Kirby, Robin, and Soul run to the five.
"About time you got here!" Soul said.
"Sorry we were late." Sora said.
"What happened?" Donald asked, as Tod sees Twilight, Katara, and Maka severely injured.
"Twilight! Katara! Maka!" Arthur cried.
"Gawrsh, this is terrible! We gotta help 'em!" Goofy said.
"Bill?" Arthur asked, looking at Bill, who is not moving.
"What have you done?!" Sora demanded, getting into his fighting stance.
"Oh, angry, are we?" Kay asked.
"All we did was have a little fun with them while you were dealing with your own nonsense." The Darkest Faerie said.
"So, you DID hurt Twilight, Katara, and Maka?!" Arthur demanded.
"No! It wasn't them!" Tor said.
"Tor's right. They..." Amity was cut off, as both Gideon and Bete Noire send black blades at the Blight and Tor, sending them to the ground.
"Amity! Tor!" Arthur cried.
"Those two just don't know when to shut up, do they?" Gideon asked.
"At least they're quiet." Bete Noire said.
"I've had it with you!" Arthur yelled, charging at Bete Noire and Gideon and tries to slash with Excalibur, only for the two villains to dodge every attack.
"Is that all ya got?" Gideon asked, summoning a dark hand that grabs the blade of Excalibur and throws it out of the blond's hands.
"My turn!" Kay said, deliver a giant punch at Arthur's stomach, sending him back.
"Artie!" Sora cried, as he casts Fira at the villains, only for Azula to take the fireball and throws it back at the Keybearer, who deflects it with his Keyblade. "You people are the WORST!" Sora yelled.
"Luring us into a trap just to attack us was the lowest plan you ever came up with!" Robin yelled.
"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby said.
"Kirby, not now!" Donald said.
"Listen, idiots, Bill was the one, who hurt Twi, Kat, and Maka! We all saw it!" Soul said.
"What?" Arthur asked.
"Bill did that?" Sora asked.
"It's true..." Robin said.
"But that's impossible... We trusted him!" Donald said.
Arthur looks at Bill, who remains motionless with his face still covered with his hat.
"Bill... Is this true...?" Sora asked.
"Did ya hurt 'em?" Goofy asked with a worried look.
"...I did..." Bill said, shocking them.
"Wh-What...?" Arthur asked while Gideon smirks.
"I did hurt those three." Bill said, shocking them even more.
"B-But why? I don't understand... This has to be some sort of mistake." Sora said.
"It's not a mistake, Spiky! That bastard pulled a fast one on us!" Soul said, glaring hatefully.
"Hehehe... Scythe boy's got it! SURPRISE! I did it because it was FUN!" Bill said, showing his eyes and laughing manically.
"You... You LIED to us?! Who are you?! What are you?!" Arthur demanded.
"Settle down, Blondie! Here, let's start over! Name's Bill Cipher, Future Ruler of Chaos!" Bill said, tipping his hat.
"How long have you toyed with us? Were you really on their side to start?" Sora asked.
"You could say that. Here, lemme start from the beginning; I got big plans coming up, BUUUT I need a puppet to help me make my plan a reality. All I needed was a sucker and that was where Arthur first came in mind, considering his heart's weak and I considered taking advantage of him!" Bill said.
"How DARE you call Artie's heart weak! You...!" Sora was cut off.
"Hey, shut it! I'm talking here! Anyway, you already knew Artie's homeworld was taken by the darkness, just like the rest of you, but get this; before the start of your little game of playing hero, in Artie's homeworld, Camelot, he actually had NO friends that cared for him! He was bullied, picked on, overlooked, and ignored by everyone, including his peabrained foster brother, Kay." Bill said.
"Hey!" Kay yelled.
"Shut up, Peabrain!" Gideon yelled.
"Now before his world's destruction, I was actually thinking about making him my perfect puppet, especially when he pulled that sword. Thanks to that useless old geezer Merlin, Blondie ended up in this town and that's when I was about to get to him and worm my way into his heart. Unfortunately, he came to and then that's where you guys came in and became his new 'friends'. Here, lemme ask you something, you guys are trying to find who you're looking for, riiiiight?" Bill asked.
"Well, yeah, but..." Sora was cut off.
"What what exactly were you guys gonna do if you actually found 'em? Wanna know the best part? I know for a fact that you guys were gonna up and abandon Artie like yesterday's trash after he helped you!" Bill said, shocking Arthur.
"Was that...true?" Arthur asked, tears flowing from his eyes.
"No, it's not." Goofy said.
"We'd NEVER do that to you, Artie." Sora said.
"Oh, but about Duck boy? I mean, all he cared about was finding his rat King!" Bill said.
"Yeah, that's because Donald's a selfish jerk." Soul said.
"Be quiet!" Donald yelled.
"The point is, Arthur was my first plan, BUUUT I had something else in mind. That's when I got to my good old friend, Gideon and asked him a favor of making this wonderful little body to have, so I can move around AND play you idiots like fiddles! Hook, line, and SINKER, as they say! It was so much fun! And to think you guys thought I was your friend!" Bill said.
"You're a MONSTER!" Arthur shouted, rushing to attack.
"Whoa!" Bill said, disappearing and reappears behind the blond and then stabs Arthur's back with his Caneblade. "Ha! Ya think YOU can defeat ME?! Why YOU were the only one to pull Excalibur out is beyond me!" Bill said, pulling his Caneblade out of the blond. "You're pathetic, worthless, and NO ONE cares about YOU!" Bill yelled, pressing his foot on Arthur's head.
"Leave...Arthur...ALONE!" Sora shouted, casting Fira at Bill, who stops it effortlessly.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't know I was hurting your so-called 'little brother'. Hey, did ya know Arthur sees you like a big brother? Talk about sad! I was gonna have you idiots help make my plan easier and then toss you guys to the Heartless!" Bill said, getting off Arthur and then delivers a slash at the blond, making him scream
"That's it! I've had enough of you!" Soul yelled, transforming his right arm into his scythe blade. "I'm gonna cut you wide open for what you did to Maka!" Soul yelled, charging to attack.
"Uh, uh, uh!" Bill said, snapping his fingers, making Soul stop and starts feeling drowsy.
"Wh-What...? What's...happening...?" Soul asked.
"I think it's time you had a little nap." Bill said, as Soul falls to the ground sleeping.
"Soul...!" Arthur cried, trying to get up, but falls.
"Are we done now? I'd like to torment them more." Bete Noire said.
"Actually, I think we've done our li'l job!" Gideon said.
"Yes, they've suffered and we'll continue later." Azula said, going for the injured Katara. "Time to put you somewhere you belong!" Azula said, taking Katara's injured body.
"Kay, pick up Maka and Soul. They'll be coming with us as well." The Darkest Faerie said, taking Tor.
"Hmph! Fine." Kay said, picking up both Maka and Soul.
"Oh, we should take the Blight witch and the Alicorn princess! We can use their magic to help our Heartless!" Gideon said, conjuring two dark spheres around Twilight and Amity.
"No!" Sora yelled.
"Enough is enough!" Robin yelled, as they block the way.
"Move..." Bete Noire said, attacking the two.
"Poyo!" Kirby yelled, throwing his hammer.
"You know what, fine! You're both coming too!" Bete Noire said, summoning dark blades around Kirby and Robin and the blades strike the two, knocking them out.
"Kirby! Robin!" Arthur cried.
"STOP!" Donald shouted, casting Thundra.
"No more!" Goofy yelled, throwing his shield.
"Please..." Bete Noire said, slashing at the two. "Now..." Bete Noire picks up Kirby and Robin and then summons a dark portal. "Let's move. We'll be placing them in a special place." Bete Noire said, taking Kirby and Robin to the dark portal.
"Farewell, 'heroes'." The Darkest Faerie said, taking Tor to the dark portal.
"Bill, time to come along. You've earned our trust." Azula said.
"Super! You won't regret it!" Bill said, going for the dark portal.
"Stop!" Sora yelled, rushing to stop the villains.
"Back off!" Bete Noire yelled.
"Still think yer playin' hero?" Gideon asked, unleashing a dark beam, knocking them back. "Let's go!" Gideon said, as he, Azula, and Kay go for the dark portal while taking Twilight, Amity, Katara, Maka, and Soul with them.
"Give them back or I'll..." Arthur was cut off.
"Or you'll what, boy?! Huh, HUH?! No muscles, no brains! Face it, without 'em and Excalibur, yer nuttin'! If ya do wanna see yer friends again, then come on over to Hollow Bastion! We'll see how much longer you'll wanna keep playin' hero!" Gideon said, going for the dark portal.
"No!" Arthur yelled, running for the dark portal, but it disappears. "No...! No, no, no, no, no, NO!" Arthur cried, kneeling and pounding his fists on the ground while crying. "I lost them... Because I couldn't protect them...!" Arthur said, still crying while Tod nudges for comfort.
"Ugh! I can't believe we're too late! We should've seen all of this coming!" Sora said, pounding his fist against a building.
"Well, now what do we do?" Donald asked.
"Gee, we can't give up now. We gotta find a way to get 'em back." Goofy said.
"Yeah, but how? We don't even know where they are... It's over..." Arthur said.
"Artie, it's NOT over! We WILL find a way to get them back, I promise." Sora said.
"Yeah, we just gotta pull ourselves together!" Donald said.
"It's not the end. They mean a lot to me, just like you! We'll work this out, together!" Sora said, smiling.
"Yeah, okay." Arthur said, getting up. "We may not know where they are now, but we'll find out sooner or later." Arthur said.
"Exactly. Let's go." Sora said, as they leave the Fountain Plaza and head back to the Gummi ship and leave Traverse Town.
Here's Chapter 28 and this took me a week to try and get this chapter finished and like I said, this is a dark turn. In fact, The Fall was pretty much the reason why I chose to do this rewrite. I know there are plenty of people not into dark concepts, but that's what I do for my stories because I find them helpful for character building, but that's my opinion. That's it and time to be moving on with the adventure once again. That's all from me. Chapter 29 is coming and the next chapter's gonna be a non-Disney world and I have to decide what it's gonna be.
