Winter
The first snowflakes begin to fall covering everything in white, bringing winter with them.
A soft smile spreads across her face as she watches them fall completely captivated by them, waiting for her lovely yet fashionable late girlfriend while hugging her coat tighter around her body to keep some warmth within herself.
A sudden puff of air blows in her ear, making her shriek before she feels a pair of strong arms hugging her from behind, hearing a quiet giggle in said ear.
- E-Elichi! – Nozomi squeaks startled by her girlfriend's action, an embarrassing red tint quickly dusts her cheeks that only deepen once she feels Eli's warm lips leaving a featherlight kiss on her cheek.
- Sorry, you looked really cute there.
The blonde says, releasing the hug while Nozomi does everything possible to hide her red cheeks from her inside her scarf, huffing in indignation.
- Elichi, silly – she mumbles almost pouting, making Eli giggle again at her cuteness before she places another light kiss on the tip of her red nose.
- Sorry – the blonde apologizes again, flashing her an apologetic smile that makes Nozomi sigh and smile back knowing that Eli isn't a bit sorry about it – Should we go now?
Nozomi can only nod, unable to say anything that could make the blonde embarrass her any further.
- But before we start to walk around, can we get some hot chocolate to go?
Nozomi hears Eli asking her, giving her the best puppy eyes she can muster as if she'd reject her request and she can only roll her eyes playfully at her girlfriend and giggle, kissing the blonde's cheek to make her blush in revenge.
- Of course.
As soon as those words leave her mouth, she can quickly see the blonde's ocean blue eyes sparkling happily and a beaming smile taking over her precious face, causing her to giggle and smile happily, before feeling Eli's warm hand taking hers to pull her towards a nearby chocolate stall.
Nozomi can't help but shake her head and let her excited girlfriend drag her towards the stall and let her pay for their chocolate cups to make it up for the embarrassment she made her go through moments ago.
They sip their chocolate in delight, letting it warm them in the cold weather as they walk hand in hand around the snowed park, contemplating the beauty of the trees covered in white that surround them and the lights adorning and illuminating their walk as it was something brought out of a fairytale, seeming truly magical.
Soon, their path leads them to an enormous tree in the center of the park which beauty manages to take both of their breaths away.
Nozomi turns to look at Eli, seeing her immersed in the mesmerizing sight in front of them, her eyes sparkling even brighter than before, and she can't help but smile widely, feeling her heart fluttering at how cute and happy the blonde looks, just like a kid in Christmas.
She giggles quietly at the comparison, remembering how the blonde told her time ago how much she loved winter season because it always made her go back in time to her childhood and the time she spent with her beloved grandma in Russia.
She squeezes her girlfriend's hand to get her attention back, seeing Eli's smile widening as they lock eyes and Nozomi can't help but bring her free hand up to cup the half-Russian girl's cheek before kissing her with all the tenderness she can muster.
Nozomi soon feels Eli kissing her back without any hesitation, tasting the sweet flavor of the chocolate they had been drinking until now and making her smile into the kiss before it ends - I love you – Nozomi whispers quietly against Eli's lips before she finds herself melting into another sweet kiss.
- I love you too – Eli says softly, nuzzling their cold noses together which only elicits a laugh from the both of them.
Then, she pulls her into a tight hug, letting Nozomi's head rest against the crook of her neck, enjoying the feeling of it as the snowflakes fall over them.
A cold gust of air decides to interrupt their sweet and peaceful moment, making Nozomi shiver in cold and Eli hug her tightly before she lets her go.
- Are you cold? – Eli asks Nozomi softly, rubbing her back up and down in an attempt to make her feel warm again.
- Of course I am, not all of us are half-Russian – Nozomi answers jokingly, winking an eye at the blonde who can only laugh.
- Then let's go back home before you get cold – Eli teases her back, earning herself a playful shove before they intertwine their hands in their way back.
As they walk past the chocolate stall, Eli can't help but stare at it, making Nozomi smile and roll her eyes amused.
- You know? another hot chocolate could help you to warm up – Eli says, pausing and making Nozomi look at her with curiosity in her eyes and an arched eyebrow – Or maybe… I could always help you to warm up.
She says an octave lower, hearing Nozomi gasp and shriek in shock.
- E-Elichi!
The purple haired girl squeals loudly in complete embarrassment, letting Eli's hand go as she starts to walk faster, leaving a laughing Eli behind her before the blonde runs to catch up with her and intertwine their hands again, seeing Nozomi still blushing hard before she places a tender kiss on her temple.
Another season comes to an end and Nozomi can't wait to discover what their kisses will taste like, and what more surprises the future seasons will bring within themselves.
