Chibiusa, wait for us!" Neo-Sailor Mercury called as Neo-Sailor Moon stampeded down the street, forcing the other girls to follow her as best they could.
"Ivy!" Sailor Eclipse snarled, but Sailor Earth either did not hear her or was too busy tearing down the road next to Neo-Sailor Moon, which caused the Dark Kingdom Sailor Senshi to trail her too.
Sailor Universe helped Beryl up but, once she straightened up, the woman swatted the girl away, "I don't need your help!"
"Where do you get off acting like such a bitch?! I get your evil, and you don't give a damn, but you've just been bitten, clawed, and scratched up by half-animal mortals to the point of coughing up blood and passing out! Have you not suffered enough?!" Universe snapped.
Caught off-guard by her swearing and deciding she had suffered more than enough, Beryl let Universe walk beside her, in case she needed someone to see her if she fell, as they followed the Dark Kingdom Sailor Senshi. At Crystal Tokyo Cafe, Mitena and Mato were tasked with "taking care" of the royal couple. Tyee was disappointed not to see Jadeite, Kunzite, or Zoisite here too, but with Naru and Nephrite under his command, that would not be a problem. Also, Tyee (as well as Mitena and Mato) could sense most of the Skinwalkers had died, which displeased him further. Grabbing his wolf pelt, Tyee savored the blood and flesh left on the claws from his latest victim, which had been Beryl.
"Those Senshi have to be killed; they are too troublesome! If that insufferable woman shows up without Takala, I'm going to dispose of her myself!" Tyee, of course, was referring to Jewel's mother.
"Wouldn't playing with her mind, making her go insane, be a more suitable punishment?" Mato questioned.
"...Yes, a wise decision, Mato. She might be worth some entertainment yet, even kill herself." Tyee imagined what he could do to Beryl's mind.
Suddenly, Neo-Sailor Moon and Sailor Earth burst into the Cafe!
"Voice of Nature!" Sailor Earth manipulates every natural thing, living and nonliving, around them as she is prepared to kill any Skinwalker who comes near her!
As the others arrived, Tyee's worst fear was confirmed: Takala was no longer controlling Beryl, but he did not even need to touch her to remedy this situation.
"I wouldn't attack us if I were you, Miss Osaka. I still have control over Neo-Queen Serenity, King Endymion, and your parents; I can kill them without a thought." Tyee threatened.
"If you even lift a finger, I will kill you." Sailor Earth kept her attack at the ready.
"I don't have to." Tyee transformed into a wolf as Mitena and Mato did the same with their chosen animals, a coyote, and bear.
Growling out his command, the controlled adults prepared to attack as well! Neo-Sailor Moon and Sailor Earth faced the Skinwalkers as they could not hope to overpower their parents. So, the Neo-Sailor Senshi and Dark Kingdom Senshi encountered the couples! Though her full magic had not re-awakened yet, Beryl shot magic at Nephrite and Naru! Thankfully, it knocked them out temporarily!
Sailor Earth wanted to get her parents out of harm's way, but she was too busy helping fight Mitena and Mato. So, Sailor Nova, being the smartest out of the Dark Kingdom Senshi, dashed forward and dragged the bodies aside. Tyee pounced on top of Beryl, and by manipulating the black magic in her jewelry, he started to peel away the layers of her mind! Beryl screamed and gripped her head as specific memories began to fade. As more and more of her mind unraveled, her screams dissolved into sobs.
"Moon Gorgeous Meditation!" A powerful rainbow blast along with shattered glass-shaped energy bursts hit Tyee, killing him instantly!
This released Nephrite and Naru's minds. Then, sailor Universe abandoned the fray to tend to her mother, who lost consciousness again! As Sailor Universe hugged her mother, who she knew was dying this time, the Dark Crystal in her brooch activated. This allowed Jewel to unlock her magic, which, being the daughter of two compelling people already, enabled her to heal Beryl's wounds, though the older woman would still need to rest and recuperate. Finally, for the last time today, Beryl opened her eyes and gazing at her daughter, she smiled, "Jewel…when did you get that powerful?"
Sailor Universe could only hold her and cry as the woman blacked out. Sailor Universe only seemed to snap back to the matter at hand when a harsh voice called out to her.
"Hey, Princess! I know this is a big mother-daughter moment you're having, but we require a little extra magic here!" Sailor Eclipse said, struggling to keep her power from quitting on her.
As Sailor Universe helped her Dark Kingdom Sailor Senshi hold off Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion, the Neo-Sailor Senshi killed Mato by combining their powers, which released King Endymion's mind! Mitena turned to flee but was stopped by Luna, Artemis, Comet, Asteroid, Diana, and the original Sailor Senshi! Hopelessly outnumbered and outclassed, even if she is in her Skinwalker form, tears built up in Mitena's eyes as she began feeling as she had when she realized she had to kill Sakari, her sister. Regardless, Mitena stood her ground: Sakari had died, and so had the reason Mitena had joined the Skinwalkers, but she was not going to go to the Underworld, where she would be separated from Sakari permanently!
"I'm not letting you wretched Sailor Senshi kill me. You're not going to keep me from being with my sister! Sakari had to die, but I vowed I'd never forgotten her! We deserved better, and even if the others are gone, I'm going to finish what we started!" Mitena scrambled as tears streamed down her face.
"It's awful your sister died, but you killed her, didn't you?" Neo-Sailor Moon asked.
"I know it must seem like murder to you, but she gladly died if it meant I could give us a better life. Sakari's spirit is still here with me." Mitena explained.
"Mitena…right?" Neo-Sailor Moon questioned, and the woman nodded. "Sakari sounds like a wonderful sister, but I would be devastated if I had to kill Jewel, and she's only my half-sister, so I know you must feel the same way. Part of Sakari is probably in Heaven, and you can't be with her unless you atone for what you've done. I can help." Neo-Sailor Moon felt if Mitena let herself be purified, Chibiusa would not have to kill the last Skinwalker!
"How?" Mitena started as Chibiusa showed her the Pink Silver Crystal.
"This is my version of the Silver Crystal, and it can do everything the original Silver Crystal can. So it makes sense it should be able to expel the black magic, which makes you a Skinwalker, without killing you." Neo-Sailor Moon reasoned.
"Either way, I don't have the option of not dying if I want to be with my sister. So, I'll take my chance with this." Abandoning her coyote pelt, Mitena stood in front of Neo-Sailor Moon.
"Moon Healing Escalation!" Neo-Sailor Moon called, a little happier than she had been during this entire war.
Pitch-black energy shot out from Mitena, which was extremely painful. Still, Mitena felt better bathing in the bright pink light than letting this Skinwalker nonsense keep her from Sakari any longer! Also, to Mitena's partial disappointment, her animal-like eyes, in which she had better sight, had to turn human again. Thankfully, after she was fully healed, the Pink Silver Crystal had been modest enough to give her a buckskin outfit rather than the tattered rags she had on before. As promised, Mina agreed to atone, and she started by releasing Neo-Queen Serenity's mind! For months, Mitena did good deeds from big to small, including helping a mountain climber, saving a cat, rescuing an older woman and her dog from a fire, and finding shelter for a little orphan boy and his sister from a storm.
"Everyone, look!" Trisha ran into the den, holding up a newspaper article about Mitena guiding two girls off railroad tracks as an oncoming train sped toward them. Tragically the train hit Mitena instead, and she died.
Chibiusa, Jewel, and the two Senshi teams could only hope Mitena had completed enough good deeds to be allowed to be with Sakari. Thankfully, Neo-Queen Serenity, King Endymion, Beryl, Nephrite, and Naru recovered with little to no permanent damage to their minds. Also, Jewel and her Dark Kingdom Sailor Senshi started training. If any threat like the Skinwalkers ever surfaced again, the Neo-Sailor Senshi will need the help.
