I woke up in my bed, the clean, white bed sheets wrapped around my body tightly as I roused myself from slumber underneath them. I looked around drowsily, reaching over and switching on the lamp, the bulb humming to life as it illuminated the room, cutting away the darkness that once engulfed it. Regretfully, I pulled the fuzzy comforter off me and got to my feet, stretching as I looked down at my messy white fur. I stumbled over towards the dresser, opened a drawer, and pulled out a white t-shirt. I leaned over and pulled open another drawer that had a pair of black sweatpants in it, which I grabbed and slipped on over my legs. As I left my room, I passed a tall full-length mirror that had been mounted on the wall. I glanced at myself and my loungewear in all of its post-nap glory, then continued out of my room. The door latched behind me with a small click.

The room I was to perform in was fairly sizable, the ground was carpeted a deep, black color, with small colorful triangles scattered across it. To my left stood a small hardwood stage, just big enough to fit one performer. It had a curved corner that filled the entire back left corner of the room, with ample room in front for an audience. Chairs were placed around the room, all facing towards the stage, as well as some children's toys in a chest in the back. I made my way out the Cove, stepping into a large hallway. The floor continued with the same dark carpet and small colorful triangles dotted here and there, melting into the walls which had been painted black; lined with posters that showcased the animatronics present at the location. To my right, a few yards down, a stairway led up to the second floor, a gap in the wall led to the arcade room, a doorway for the kitchen was just past it, and a hallway beside the stairway led down to the restrooms. There was another room down there for something, but we had no idea what it was for or what was in there.

I walked left, towards the stage area and dining room. When I got near the end, I looked right, and saw the waiting area through one of the doorways. The main walls that separated the rooms formed a right triangle, leaving the doorway behind me to connect to the large arcade room. As I approached the main room, I spotted the stage to the right of me as I stared at it from the hall. The floor was elevated upwards 3 levels with 4 round tables on each level, and a dugout at the bottom which featured a table long enough to seat 6 people on each side, and one on either end.

"Mangle, what are you doing," I heard a familiar voice call out. I looked up at the first level and spotted a yellow avian leaning against the rail, looking down at me. "I just woke up. What time is it," I asked her as I walked up the ramp which led to the upper levels. "It's a little after ten. You sure took advantage of that nap," Toy Chica said with a slight laugh as I walked up to her and sat at the table closest to the ramp. "Hey, I was tired," I retorted as I propped my feet onto the round table, looking around the giant theater-like room and seeing the walkway that wrapped from behind the third level to the wall beside the stage. "This room is stupidly large," I said out loud, hearing the echo ring out from around the pizzeria. The roof was made from some kind of metal, which had also been painted black. I looked down at the stage, seeing a green neon light wrap around it, emitting a bright, light green haze on the floor. The rails that were placed on the front part of each level had different colored lights on them, the first level had a dark blue, the second was bright yellow, the third had been colored a blood-red, and a deep brown had been speckled about throughout all of the lighting. As I examined the rooms, I realized how clean the walls were, but then again, they hadn't even opened yet.

"Where are the other two at," I asked. Toy Chica sat down at the table to my right, hooking her hands behind her head before responding. "Toy Freddy and Toy Bonnie are probably in the arcade messing around," She replied as I overheard one of them shouting from the arcade. I turned around to see them running through the doorway and up the ramp behind us, heading towards the second level of the seats.

"What's happening," I asked them as they got to the third level. Toy Bonnie stopped and turned around towards us.

"A truck's pulled up, someone's here," He exclaimed as a door opened in another room. I turned around, hearing a few male voices talking about something. I couldn't stay and figure out what they were saying, though. I got up and left through the closest hallway with the yellow chicken. Unable to return to our spots, we all ended up going right towards an office and entering it. It featured a singular desk in the corner of the room, facing an opposite corner where a shelf sat; lined with books and a few small plushies. On the desk sat a computer tower and three monitors, with the outer two angled towards the office chair that sat in front of it. A small microphone rested on the desk in front of a keyboard and mouse, as well as several papers that were scattered on it. In the other corner, to left of the desk, there was another doorway that was left open with the words "Security Office" labeled on it. I turned around and quietly shut the door to the main room as I heard the men walking through the hall.

"That was close," Toy Freddy chuckled as he leaned against the wall with a slight pant. "You ran for one minute and you're tired," Toy Bonnie teased him as he stood in the center of the room, looking around. "Did you see what they were doing here," Toy Chica asked as I walked over towards the desk, seeing a bulletin board behind it with several pages pinned to it. Before I could read them, I heard some footsteps from the doorway, and peeked out to see nobody there.

I turned around towards the others as they were talking to each other, and walked through the doorway into a small room with a reception desk out in front, off to the side was a stairwell that went down to the first floor, and a janitor's closet beside it. The sounds of footsteps filled the stairwell, soon disappearing as the men exited the building. I stepped towards the stairwell, peering down at the sight of men walking away from the right side back towards the entrance, panting as if they finished carrying something heavy.

"Those fuckers were heavy," One of them scoffed as he walked past the bottom of the stairs. "It looked like shit, too. Anyways, let's get out of here," Another man said, following the previous one as I listened to them walking away. I waited until I heard the door shut and I walked down the stairs into the hallway, spotting a dark stain on the floor to my left, towards the main room. "Those dirty bastards," I quietly scoffed as I left for the main room.

I jumped up, gripping onto the rail that was one level up and pulled myself up and over, back onto the first rail as the others walked out the security office. "Where'd you go," Toy Chica asked as I landed on the floor and walked back to my seat. "I took a detour," I replied with a smirk as I sat down, propping my feet up once more, them still walking down the ramp. "Did you see what they were doing," Toy Bonnie asked as he sat down opposite of me, Toy Freddy sitting to my left. "No," I told him as I leaned my head back with a sigh.

We all began talking and joking as we sat around in boredom, Toy Bonnie opted to practice his guitar as he sat with us, per usual. "So, how's everyone been with learning their stuff," I asked them, setting my feet on the floor, leaning forward as they began talking. "Eh, it is taking a while to get used to," Toy Freddy sighed as he leaned back in his seat. "I've been getting used to this- Wait, who are you," Toy Bonnie said, cutting himself off and shouting behind me towards the end of the hallway.

I turned around to see three other animatronics standing at the end of the hall, looking around the room, soon focusing on us as they heard Toy Bonnie.

"Well, that's kind of rude," A purple rabbit said as he looked up at us. Toy Freddy called back soon after. "Well, considering that we're supposed to be the only four here, it's kind of freaky that you three show up." I looked back and forth between them as they spoke to one another. "Okay, fair point, we're just here to introduce ourselves," The dark brown bear said. The front door opened again, the others and I got up and began booking it to the security office, but the brown bear ended up greeting the man as he walked in, much to my curiosity.

"Jeremy, how're you doing," He asked casually as I stopped and turned around. "Doing good, Freddy. Uh, who are these guys," The man asked as he looked up at us as we stood at the back of the room. "We're trying to figure that out ourselves," The purple rabbit chuckled as we all looked at each other, confused. "Well, anyway, I need to get to the office. So could you move out the way, please," He asked as he walked up the ramp towards us, me looking around in shock that he was so calm about us. "I, uh, really need to get to the security office," He repeated, now stopped in front of me, causing me to back against the wall, letting him through to the second floor. "So, can we talk now," The brown bear asked from the bottom of the ramp as I looked down at them. "Sure," Toy Freddy said slowly as he walked back down with a confused expression.

We walked back down to the first level and sat down in awkward silence as the other animatronics introduced themselves to us. "So, do I have a counterpart," I asked them as they looked over at me. "Yes, but… He's pretty out of it right now," Chica told me as I leaned against the table. "What's he like," I asked as someone spoke from behind me. "There's my god damned eye patch," I heard a voice say with a disgruntled sound from behind me as I saw red ears poking out over the wall, under the short rail that sat on it. "Damn headache," He groaned as he walked down towards the stage. "As I said, he's out of it," Chica said as she shook her head from beside me. I watched as a red vulpine walked out from behind the wall, holding the right side of his head as he walked out looking at us.

"I see you finally woke up," Bonnie chuckled as he uncovered his left eye, revealing a nasty large cut above it. "Yeah, and my head is killing me," He groaned as he stumbled up the stairs without taking note of any of us in the room. My eyes widened as he walked past me, noticing the cuts and scratches all over him as he stumbled beside the purple rabbit and threw himself into a chair, nearly flipping it over as he landed in it as Chica continued shaking her head until Toy Chica walked up.

"Hey, would you mind helping me with my voice," Toy Chica asked the other yellow chicken as she turned over towards her. "I don't see why not," Chica replied as she stood up and walked down to the stage with Toy Chica. "Well, I guess that leaves us," Toy Freddy said as he looked over towards me. "Your counterpart is right there, you should try asking him something," I replied as I stood up. "Nah, don't really feel like it," Toy Freddy told me. "Why not," I asked him, arms folded. "Eh, just don't feel like it," Toy Freddy added as I sighed shaking my head at him.

The red vulpine had gotten up and left. I watched as he walked up to the third level and slumped back down, unable to see him as he went behind the wall. After I got Toy Freddy to start talking with the larger, darker bear, I walked up to the third level, seeing the red vulpine sitting against the back wall with his eyes closed as he held a small picture in his hands. "Hello," I said with a slight smile as I walked over to him, he looked over at me, confused as I got close to him. "What do you need," He asked as I stopped a few feet away from him. "Well, I was expecting you to have some advice for me… Seeing as you're my counterpart and all," I said, rubbing the back of my neck as he continued staring at me. His expression seemed almost unreadable, as if he were hiding something; extremely well, at that. "You don't want advice from me," He replied simply, laying his head back as he rested against the wall with a knee to his chest. "What harm is there in giving some friendly advice," I asked him as he sighed and looked up at me. "A lot more than you think," He said bluntly as I stared at him. "Okay, other than you simply don't want to, why won't you" I retorted, kneeling down beside him as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Listen, I don't even know your name. Mind at least letting me know that first," He asked with a sigh as he looked at me. "Mangle," I replied as he looked at me with a slight sense of bewilderment in his eyes. "That's… Unique," He said. "Why do they call you that?"

"Well, I can sort of... mangle my body," I told him as I looked around. "So you can break your body willingly? Sounds kind of pointless, if I'm being honest," He scoffed as I turned back towards him. "Not as much break it, I can just bend it in a lot of ways," I replied as I stood up and grabbed onto the rail above my head with my back to the wall. "So, what you're saying is, you're flexible," He said as he got to his feet. "Basically," I replied as I threw my legs up and over the rail, landing on the second story floor with a sigh as I looked at the red vulpine on the third level who was looking around the room, rubbing his face.

"Is there somewhere quiet here," He asked me as he looked back at me. "Well, there's the arcade and my cove, there's another place behind over there, but I haven't been in it yet," I told him, pointing to a doorway in the corner behind me, to my right. "Anything's better than in here," He replied as he walked towards the ramp. "Why don't you climb over like I did," I asked him as he stopped and looked over at me. "Because I'm not trying to show off," He said as he continued walking towards the ramp. He stopped just before the ramp, then turned to face me. "Since you want advice, I'd advise against wearing those pants in front of children if you're gonna be pulling those stunts," He added as I looked down seeing my pants wrapped a little tightly around my legs, causing me to blush slightly, realizing what he'd meant as he left.

I watched as he walked into the doorway of the other room, looking around in shock as he saw what was in there. "We have a damn bar," He shouted in disbelief and... excitement? I was just barely able to hear it from outside the room, so I followed him in there. "Is that even legal to have in this type of place?" I walked into the room from behind him, spotting an L-shaped bar to the left, booths lining the walls, and wrapping around the corner at the end of the room. A pool table sat in the center, six feet away from the several stools the lined the edge of the bar, in between the lines of booths. "It's more so of a regular dining area, just with beverages for adults in the corner," I told him as he turned around, visibly astonished. "I'm having serious doubts about the person who owns this place," He sighed as he looked around the room, soon flopping down in one of the booths to the right of the room.

I looked down at the floor, seeing a trail of blackish liquid staining the bright triangles that were randomly placed across the carpet, going from the entrance of the room all the way to the red vulpine's feet. "Jeez, you're dirty," I said with a slight giggle as he looked up at me, soon turning his attention to the trail on the floor. "That's not dirt, that's blood," He told me as I looked over at him with a cocked eyebrow. "That's not blood, it looks kinda like oil," I replied as he sighed, putting his face into his hand for a few seconds before looking up at me again. "No, it's synthetic blood. It's the stuff that runs through our bodies," He said, sounding annoyed as I looked down at the floor again. "Oh…" I said, feeling a sense of anxiety creep up my spine. "It's alright," He told me, letting his right arm flop on the table as I looked over at him. "I shouldn't expect you to know that so soon, you've probably only been activated for a few days now."

"I wonder where that rag went," He grunted as he leaned out the booth, looking out the doorway. I looked at his right wrist seeing a line running down the center with a circle at the bottom of it. "What's that," I asked, poking his wrist as I looked at it. "It's nothing important," He said as he looked over at me. "What is it for," I asked him, reaching for the circle as he pulled it away quickly. "Don't," He said as he gave me a stern look, his ears pinned back. "Not trying to be rude… It's just awkward for me when someone grabs me," He told me as he sighed looking down at his wrist. "Sorry, but could I see what it is," I asked him as he looked over at me. He slowly pressed the circle with his other hand, causing his wrist to open up, spinning around as a stained, rusty hook came out, replacing his hand. "Woah," I said as I looked at it, a few pieces of red fur were stuck to the end of it. "See, it's nothing special," He said as he switched it back, looking at me as my gaze trailed down to his neck, seeing several claw marks around it.

"Could you not stare? It's getting kinda weird," He told me as he rubbed around his neck, covering up the marks. "Yeah, sorry," I replied as I looked down. "I saw you with a picture, could I see it," I asked him as I looked up again, hearing a hitch in his breath. "I'd... rather not," He told me as he looked down at the table. We sat silent for a few minutes, listening to the others in the main room as they practiced and had fun. I watched him as he had his head laid against the back of the seat, facing the roof. His face was scrunched up as if he was uncomfortable as he sat in the seat. He stared up at the ceiling for a few seconds and sighed, seemingly thinking about something.

"Is there somewhere quieter," He asked, sitting forward against the table. "There's the arcade," I replied as he stood up. "Lead the way," He told me before I stood up with him. I walked towards the other end of the room and went to the right, seeing booths lining the walls along both sides. We continued towards the diagonal wall, exiting through the doorway and passing the reception desk, security office entrance, and the stairs to the right. Before we could go down the stairs, the security guard leaned out the office calling us over with a chuckle.

"Foxy, come here. You need to see this," The guard chuckled as we walked over to the security office. "What is it, Jeremy," The red vulpine grunted as we walked in, seeing the guard just sitting down at the desk with the camera monitors and a microphone. "Come over here," He said, waving us over. I walked over with the fox, seeing the camera for the main room as the guard pulled over the microphone and leaned over with a grin. He pressed the button and shouted into the microphone as the others shrieked from the other room, causing him to bust out laughing as he backed away in the chair.

I turned around with a slight laugh, seeing Foxy staring at the man with a blank expression as he turned around and exited the room. I walked out of the room, seeing him walking towards the stairs, soon catching up with him as we began walking down. "What's wrong," I asked him as he sighed. "I just have a headache," He remarked, holding his forehead again. "Well, the arcade's right there," I told him, pointing towards the opening to our right as we reached the bottom of the stairs.

"Thanks... I'm going to go to sleep," He said as he turned right, going down the hall. "Are you sure? I thought you could help me practice," I said, following him down the hall a little as he turned around. "Listen, I never said I was going to help you practice," He told me as he turned to face me. "Well, everyone else is getting help," I replied, causing him to sigh as he stared down, seemingly thinking about the same something. "Why are you so keen on not helping me," I asked him, approaching him slowly. His head snapped back up, eyes meeting mine. "Why are you so dead-set on getting under my fur," He retorted with an agitated voice as he looked at me, putting his hand on my shoulder to keep me from coming any closer.

I gripped onto his wrist, causing his ears to pin back again and the bridge of his nose to tighten in anger. The vulpine's eyes narrowed as he let out a low growl while I tried to free my shoulder from his grasp. "I just wanted help," I barely managed to mutter, yelping as I felt him tighten up his grip around my shoulder. "Whoa, Foxy, calm down," Someone shouted from behind us as I felt a hand pull me away from him. I stumbled to the floor as the dark brown bear grabbed his wrists and shoved him back. "I'm sick of you attacking me," Foxy shouted as he got up and punched at the bear, the two soon grappling around the hall as I stared, still holding my shoulder in pain on the floor.

Freddy managed to pin Foxy against the wall, but he switched to his hook and sliced the bear across his side, soon bringing his foot up and kicking him into the other side of the hall. "Oh crap," I heard another person shout from the end of the hall as I turned around seeing the purple rabbit running down and grabbing Foxy before he could reach Freddy, the others soon following behind and watching as Bonnie grabbed Foxy's wrist and held him against the wall, using his size to overpower the vulpine. Foxy tried to bite at him and Freddy ran over, shoving his forearm into his maw, preventing him from snapping down. The three struggled for a minute or two as Toy Chica helped me up, making sure I was okay.

"Foxy, I'm going to remove my arm and you're going to calm down. Are you ready," Freddy asked him as he slowly nodded his head, eyes staring me down in defiance. The two let him go and he socked Bonnie in the face, knocking him to the floor with a loud thump. Freddy quickly pulled him down and planted his knee on his back, making sure he couldn't get up again. "Damn, that left hook of yours," Freddy chuckled as Foxy snarled, trying to get up. I looked down at the large purple rabbit who slowly got to his knees, groaning a bit as he held his jaw. Freddy got up from Foxy as the vulpine laid on the ground, panting. The bear pulled him to his feet and helped walk him down the hall, disappearing into the room at the end as the door shut behind them.

Chica was helping Bonnie to his feet as he looked over at me. "What happened before we walked down here," He asked me, still holding his face as he dizzily stood up. "He told me he had a headache, and I had asked him if he could help me practice. He didn't want to and I asked him why, which somehow annoyed him," I told Bonnie as I winced, holding my shoulder. "I guess he isn't getting better," Bonnie mumbled as he looked over at Chica who sighed as she rested her hand on his shoulder.

"What does that mean," Toy Freddy asked from the behind us. "He's… Uh, let's go sit down and we'll explain," Chica said as she helped Bonnie back down the hall, the rest of us following shortly behind as I turned towards the door at the end of the hall wondering what was going on with him. My stomach knotted up as I thought about what had just happened, the fact that his mood changed so quickly, and the fact that he started to attack me churned my stomach as I realized what could've happened.

We had all sat down at one of the tables on the first level and Chica began explaining what had been happening with him. "Foxy hasn't been in the best shape during the past couple weeks..." She said, hesitating to continue as she seemingly thought about something. "… He… Hadn't left his room in over a month for more than probably ten minutes at most. There's a lot that he's been dealing with that he isn't able to explain," She continued, looking as if there was something she left out but didn't want to bring up.

"I think I'm going to lay down," I told them, standing up as I still held onto my sore shoulder. "You sure," Toy Chica asked me before I started walking away. "You haven't been up long." "Yeah, I'm just tired," I told her as I walked down the ramp. "Sleep well," She said from the table as I turned around into the hallway, heading towards my room. I walked through the doorway into the cove seeing everything just as it was earlier, making my way to the bedroom door and walking in, the sounds from the main room unable to be heard as the dim yellow light from the lamp engulfed the room, shining a warm light onto me as I shut the door and looked in the mirror.

The right shoulder of my white shirt had a large, black, hand-print shaped stain on it from where Foxy gripped my shoulder. I groaned as I unbuttoned the shirt and pulled it off, throwing it onto the floor, shuffling out of my sweatpants as I walked over to my bed and flopped onto it with a sigh, feeling my shoulder aching from soreness. Thoughts ran through my mind of what Chica was wanting to say when we were sitting at the table, but they were cut short as I closed my eyes, slowly falling asleep.
