I still have trouble remembering how much time had passed since me and Foxy's first trip into the void.
Every time we lapsed back in, we'd come out with no idea of the date or time and we'd have to rely on the others to tell us. Though, me, Ava, and Foxy did get pretty good at coming back feeling more aware after going in. It took a lot of work, but we now can go in willingly and come out willingly after extensive training from Jason. Apparently, he used to fight in there a lot, though, he refused to share the details.
"Okay, so how ready is everyone," Goldy asked as Me, Foxy, Claire, Jason, and Ava stood on the other side of the booths, in the arcade room. "Do you got any cash," Jason asked in perfect deadpan. "Yes, we have cash," Goldy replied with a facepalm. Jason turned over to Foxy who was beside me, and asked him to do something, "Switch to your hook real quick." "Why," Foxy asked while he did. "Watch," Jason said as he pressed down a tab at the base of the hook. He pulled Foxy's hook out of his wrist which was attached to a cylinder, and handed him a large blade. "Put that in there." I watched as Foxy slotted the blade into his wrist and twisted it, soon locking it in with a small click. "Keep that in your pocket, it's good for some stuff, but that blade is a lot more useful if you get in a fight," Jason explained. Foxy nodded, then placed the hook and cylinder in different pockets.
We waited for a little while, and soon the tendrils that wrapped around us in the abandoned building wrapped around us once again, except this time I didn't feel like I passed out, instead it simply felt... dizzying; like time sped up and snapped back to normal. We were released in a large room that had a table in the center, pictures lining the walls along with other trinkets and pieces of art as well.
It was like someone's home.
"Welcome," We heard a familiar voice say from above us as we looked up, seeing stairs wrapping around both sides of the room as Marionette sat at the top, looking over at us while Goldy stepped up to us from behind the five of us. "Ugh, my neck hurts," Jason said, rubbing the back of his neck as I looked around the room, seeing a window overlooking a large town with a coastline seemingly a few miles away. "Wow," Ava said as she walked up to the window with her hands on her hips as she examined the view. "Why don't you guys bring me here more often?"
As I looked around, I noticed that the walls had a plain white color coating them, the table in the center had six chairs on either side, with two on each end, much like the party table at the old location that I had run away from. A stained hardwood was laid across the floor underneath our feet, shielding our feet from the concrete below as the Marionette was talking with the others about what we were going to do.
"Okay, we're going to go to the town for a little bit, we'll show these two-" He said, pointing at me and Foxy as we walked over. "-around and let them explore places like the market area, gyms, and the bars." Jason's ears perked up as he heard that and he walked up behind Claire, wrapping his hand around her waist as she looked over at him and sighed with an amused smile. "Wait, why would we need a gym," Foxy asked from beside me as the Marionette looked over at him. "Well, you have those tubes in your arms that can repair themselves even stronger than before after being broken, you do the math," Marionette replied before looking back at the others. "When we get back I'll let you get your rooms for tonight since we don't have anywhere else to stay. Think of it as a small vacation, I guess."
"Also, try not to start any fights with the locals," He added to the end as I followed Foxy around. "Hey, uh, here's some cash so you can buy a shirt," Goldy said to us as he looked over at the red vulpine beside me, handing him some silver coins to which we grabbed. I looked over at Foxy with a smirk as I realized he hadn't been in a shirt in almost forever. "Oh... I guess I forgot about it," He said with a chuckle as we caught up with the others and got prepared to leave.
It took about thirty minutes since we left for us to trek down the hill that the Marionette's home was on, at least that's what I guessed it was, and to make our way to the city. Small buildings lined the streets, some being stores for clothes and other apparel, others being for food or special coolant items- essentially water. I noticed Foxy had his arm around me tighter than usual as we walked through the crowded streets beside the others.
"Jason, why do you wear that eye patch," Foxy asked as he looked over at the vulpine beside him who had been flirting with his partner. "Uh, it's a little confusing to explain, basically," He said, raising the patch and revealing the completely black eye to us before lowering it again. "Whenever I use it, it just seems to... have an effect on me." "Huh," Foxy said with a puzzled look as we started getting near the center of the town.
"Okay, let's split up and go look around at the different stores, eh," Marionette asked as Jason and Goldy dragged Foxy off towards one location. "I guess that leaves us," Ava said with a smirk as me and Claire looked over at her. "Let's go look around I guess," Claire said before the three of us walked off towards another side of town, traveling past several locations and seeing different things like clothes or small trinkets that we liked, sometimes bought, and after a few hours, came back to the center before we saw Foxy, Goldy, and Jason walking back all with grins on their face as Jason held a bag, Foxy had a brand new black T-shirt, and Goldy had bought a new golden top-hat.
"What's in the bag," Claire asked with a sigh as Jason opened it up, showing off three different bottles which were labeled with different things. He pulled out a silver can with painted-on lettering and showed it to her before speaking. "This is for now," He said, opening the tab, and taking a sip. "This is for later tonight," He added, pulling out a clear bottle which was labeled "vodka," putting it back in the bag. "Now this, this is for the next month," He finished, pulling out another brown bottle which was considerably larger.
"Was all you got alcohol," Claire asked with a dumbfounded expression before he hushed her. "I got something else for you, but I can't pull it out until we're back at Marionette's house," He told her with a grin, which soon turned into a frown as she went to slap him. "Wait, I didn't mean like that," He partially shouted. "I got you a gift, but I don't want it to get stolen by someone out here." "You're lucky I love you," She said with a smile as she took a giant gulp of the beer and handed it back to him before he could protest.
I looked over at Foxy who was holding something just out of view from me, causing me to walk over to him. "What do you got," I asked him with a smile as he looked down at me. As he turned fully towards me, I saw he was holding a small stack of clothes, the top of which was made up of a few pairs of sweatpants. "I got you some spare clothes since you left all your other outfits when we left... And I got you this," He said with a smile as he pulled out a red bow-tie, much like the one I had originally. "Aw, thank you," I said with a slight giggle as I rested my hand on his shoulder, which was soon cut short by the sound of a fist pounding against flesh and another person landing on the ground with a dull thud.
We turned over to see Jason standing in front of Claire who had a flustered look while a gray wolf animatronic was laid out on the ground holding his snout which was crushed a little and leaking a ton of the synthetic blood. "Touch my wife's ass again and I'm ripping you apart," Jason shouted while two guys stepped up and tried to push him to which he didn't move an inch. "Who the fuck do you think you are, fox," A raccoon-like animatronic said, shoving Jason back as he turned over to Foxy with a smirk. "Hey, Foxy, remember you asked why I cover my eye? This is why," He said with a chuckle as he took off the eye patch and tossed it to Claire.
After a few seconds, I finally saw the second animatronic which tried to push Jason as well who was like an alligator, or some other sort of reptile. Suddenly, a black mist was leaking from the left side of Jason's face, and in what felt like a split second, he had grabbed the raccoon's neck and an audible crack heard when he threw the poor guy into the ground. The alligator tried to swing at him, but he ducked under, grabbing the reptile's arm and snapping it in seconds before he placed his foot to his side and kicked him across the street. The gator groaned in pain as the raccoon did the same, a few bystanders had stopped to watch, but continued about their day soon after as if it were a common occurrence.
"There you go," He said, grabbing the eye patch and placing it over his eye once again before leaning over to Claire and kissing her on the cheek. "Thank you," She said, resting her arms on his shoulders as she smiled at him. I looked over to Foxy seeing him stare in awe at how much strength this guy had, much more than anything he had shown us originally. "That's not all he has," Goldy said with a chuckle as he began walking towards another street. The five of us followed him, Ava seemingly flaunting herself to guys that would pass us causing me to laugh at the fact they had no idea how much she could do to them if they tried anything.
"It's almost funny watching these guys," Ava giggled from beside me as I was walking with Foxy. "If they only knew," I told her as Foxy kept his arm tightly around my waist. I saw him staring off at the other side of the street where a man was shouting at a child which was like a feline of some sort, sadly I couldn't get a good look on it, but I could feel the vulpine holding me tense up as if he wanted to go stop him. "You alright," I asked him as I broke him out the trance on the older animatronic which looked like a boar. "Yeah, I just saw something," He said, slowly turning his head back over to me as he was eyeing the scene.
The six of us, minus the Marionette, who was nowhere to be seen for some reason, walked into a dark building where a large bar was at the front, booths lined the walls with tables in the center. We walked over to one of the larger booths in the corner and sat down, Foxy sitting to my left. A waitress soon walked up and asked us what we wanted, but was also eyeing Foxy and Jason who weren't paying attention to her.
"Hey, Hey! Eyes off the men," Ava said in an aggressive tone as she pointed at the two red vulpines; Jason who was laughing at her calling out the waitress, and Foxy who looked around in confusion. She soon walked off with our order as Jason looked over at Ava with a smirk. "I feel bad for the day you go off on someone," He told her with a chuckle as Claire giggled.
"I'm ready for us to get back already so we can relax," Goldy said as he leaned back in the booth, resting his arms on the table. "I can't help but agree after seeing that hot-tub around back," Ava added. "My question is how in the hell did they even get one of those here," Claire asked as Goldy shrugged. "Here's your drinks," The waitress said as she set our drinks on the table, eyeing Ava in the process before strutting off. "Bitch," Ava mumbled, watching the waitress leave.
"Ava, you have no chill," Claire said as she was grinning at the tan coyote. The two of them soon started talking to each other for a while as Goldy asked me and Foxy a question. "So, how are you two liking it here?" I looked over at Foxy who rubbed his chin in thought. "I mean, it isn't too bad, and I feel better considering I finally have a shirt again," He said, pulling his shirt up by the collar so it could be in view. "I don't know, I kind of miss you not having a shirt," I told him while I playfully hit his shoulder. "Who said I wouldn't ever be shirtless again," He asked, placing his arm around my shoulder.
"You two can have fun later, right now we need to get done here and head back," Goldy said, catching our attention as he kept his arm around me. "Why didn't you get your own drink again," Jason asked Claire as she sipped off his drink. "Because I'm not letting you drink another whole thing of beer after you just killed a bottle," She replied, continuing to sip of his drink before handing it to him. "I just want to blow off some steam," He told her as he began sipping off it. "Gym's over there," She replied, pointing across the street to another building. "Fair," He said, continuing to sip on it.
"Jason, I thought you couldn't get drunk," Ava said, causing us to look over to her. "Well, I can't, but they mix the stuff here with something that simulates it, technology is actually worth a damn now," He told her as he killed the drink and set the glass down on the table, spinning it around with his finger. "I'd argue it's been worth something considering that we have our lives and daughter back," Claire said as he looked over to her with a smile. "I can't argue with that," He replied, leaning over and kissing her once again as Goldy stood up, throwing some of the silver coins on the table before we all followed suit and began leaving the bar.
I walked with my arm wrapped around Mangle as we left the bar, holding the bag that had her spare change of clothes in my left hand as we followed the others down the street. As we passed the different buildings housing stores, recreation, and other services, something caught my eye in one of the windows. It was a black mask made for vulpines, with a red muzzle close to my fur color. Behind it rested a large black coat on a rack, one that would come down to my knees. I felt oddly drawn to it, it did look pretty cool. The right arm had a slit running down from the elbow which would work perfectly with how my arm opens up to switch to my blade.
"Hey, uh, I'll catch up with you all," I told the others as they stopped and turned towards me for a second. "What's up," Mangle asked me as I looked over at her and unwrapped my arm from around her. "I was going to go grab a spare change of clothes for myself because I realized I didn't have any more," I told her, handing her the bag that was in my left hand as she shrugged it off and walked with the others.
I watched them turn the corner before I walked into the small store, seeing rows and rows of clothing lining the walls. I stepped through the aisles, looking around and finding the masks before I picked up one much like the one I had seen from the window, except this one had red rings around the eyes as well. The inside had a velvet-like material on the inside which seemed reinforced with metal underneath it. Weird, but cool. I grabbed it and walked around for a bit, grabbing spare changes of clothes before I tried on one of the coats, seeing that it wrapped around my frame, showing a muscular look that T-shirts didn't capture due to how baggy they usually were, but this had a belt that wrapped around the waist which kept it tightly against my body. It also felt as if there was tough padding inside the cloth material, providing a lot of cushioning from any blow I could receive. And, as I had assumed, the lower portion reached down to my knees as a hood was also on the back that would cover my head, but wasn't tight enough that it strained my ears, something I was very thankful of.
I looked out the window, seeing a guy smack a woman away from him as he began shouting at her. I threw the stuff on top of a bench that was set behind me and I walked outside, soon meeting my gaze with the man who was still shouting vulgarities at the woman. The bastard. I walked up as he went to hit her again, but I grabbed his hand and twisted it, soon kicking the back of his leg and forcing him onto one knee as he was gasping at me squeezing his hand. "Tell tha lass yer sorry, unless ya feel like bein' turned into shark-bait," I told him with a low growl, letting my accent out as he stared at me with pleading eyes. Who knew a pirate accent could sound so intimidating? I twisted his hand a little further, hearing his wrist crack a little as he shouted in pain for a second until he finally shouted sorry to the woman and looked back at me, pleading for me to let his wrist go. Bystanders stared as I let go of his wrist and smacked him in the back of the head, shoving him as he left.
I could feel the group staring at me with fearful eyes as I looked over to the woman who I saw was a mouse. "Lass, are ye alright 'tere," I asked her, still letting my accent out like a muscle that hadn't been stretched in months. "Yes, thank you," She said, staring down the man with a look that could kill. I turned around as the crowd soon walked away once again, this time I heard murmuring amongst them as I walked back in and picked up the stuff I wanted to buy, soon trekking up to the front counter as the cashier walked up.
"That was awfully heroic," An elderly-looking wolf said as he rung me up. "It wasn't anything. I just didn't want to deal with it on the way out," I replied, grabbing the bag before he spoke again. "Well, I wish there were more people like you around. You seem like a fellow to have a drink with some time, what's your name by the way," The wolf asked me as I looked closer at him, noticing he had a grayish-blue color of for along his back with white running down the bottom of his jaw and probably across his chest underneath his plaid, button-up, short sleeve shirt. I had no idea what he would've been made for in terms of child entertainment, so I guess he was designed for something else. "Foxy," I replied as he gave a hearty chuckle. "That's pretty unimaginative, no offense, though. My name's Clark," The old wolf told me with a chuckle. "Though, I really wish there were more people like you around, most new people would avoid helping the locals around here." "How do you know I'm new," I asked him as he gave another chuckle. "Listen, fox, I've been at this joint for almost forty years now. I know a new face when I see one," Clark replied as he gave me a smile. "Also, you should smile more. You wouldn't put off as much of a fearful vibe to others around you." I looked at him for a few seconds before giving him a small smile. "Thanks for the advice," I said, waving to him as I held the bag and walked out the store, soon making my way back up to Marionette's house that was up the hill, I'm assuming was west of the town.
After about half an hour, I made my way up to the entrance of his house, seeing that it was well hidden behind walls that were lined with plants and bushes. When I opened the door, I could see everything in the house as it led to the top of the stairs. Marionette was looking at us from when we first arrived, down at the bottom I heard someone down the hall to my right. I closed and lock the door before walking down and looking through a doorway, seeing Mangle examining some clothes the clothes I had bought her earlier, along with some others that I didn't recognize.
"Hey," I said, causing her to jump a little as she turned around and saw me. "Woah, sorry for scaring you." "It's alright, I just wasn't expecting you," She said before turning towards a large bed that was against the center of the wall to my right as I walked in. Nightstands were on either side of it, and there was a table to the left that had Mangle's clothes on top of it. I walked over to the bed and sat on the edge, feeling it compress underneath my weight, earning a deep sigh from me as I felt myself relax a bit.
'Scratch that. A lot.'
"Is it comfortable," The vixen asked as she turned towards me, folding up a shirt before placing it on the table. "Very," I told her with a smile as I looked over at her. "The others are getting ready to get into the hot tub on the deck out back, I thought we could go in it for a little bit and unwind," She told me, making me think for a minute as I looked down knowing I didn't have clothes made for getting wet. "I didn't bring any swim clothes," I told her with a smirk as she looked over at me. "I'm sure that Jason or Goldy has something you can wear," She said, soon forcing me out the door as I saw what looked like a swimsuit behind her.
"Aw, you won't let me see it," I asked in a taunting tone as she shut the door with a grin. "No. Not yet at least," She told me through the door as I looked down at the bag I had before looking back at the door. "Could I at least put my clothes up somewhere first," I asked, causing her to open the door and let me quickly set it down on the other side of the bed, before she once again pushed me out and sent me down the hall, back towards the main room. I walked down the stairs, soon seeing that Jason was playing a game of billiards with Goldy in the room to the left of the stairs.
I walked in as I saw the red vulpine trying to line up a shot at the pool table, while Goldy sipped on a bottle of water, leaning against the wall as he watched him. The walls in this room were painted like the others, except the lights were a little dimmer and there was a rack for pool sticks beside where Goldy was standing. A round table was behind the pool table, with a few chairs surrounding it along with a ceiling lamp directly over it. A deck of cards on it rested on the table, just itching to be dealt out into a new game. Towards the right of the room, a doorway that led to the deck was set to the far right corner of the room, with some chairs surrounding the glass pane that allowed for a good view of the town below.
"I wonder how much this place cost to build," I said, gaining the attention of Goldy as I walked over to the round table and sat down, turning a chair to face the pool table. "Who knows," Goldy replied as I leaned back, relaxing a little. "Does one of you know if Marionette keeps some beer in that fridge over there," Jason asked, pointing towards a mini-fridge below the rack Goldy was beside. "Jeez, Jason, how much do you drink," Goldy asked in an astonished tone as he pulled a bottle out of the fridge and passed it to him. "I'm actually pretty resistant to it, I remember drinking a good few beers before even getting a buzz once," He said, popping open the top with his hand and sipping on it quickly before he sighed, setting the bottle on the table beside me. "Also, I enjoy the taste, unlike others."
"I feel like I know the reason why Claire usually avoids bringing up this place, now," Goldy said, downing the bottle of water before throwing it into the trash. "Well, to be fair, I spend most of my time entertaining children, to then have to take care of my own child without any time for taking care of myself or looking after my wife. It's not healthy, I know, but I feel like I deserve it," Jason replied as he took another sip of the beer. "Though, before you say I am being ungrateful for my daughter, I love her very much and you should know that, considering I nearly killed a whole army of men for her," He added, to which Goldy nodded his head and stood up, walking over to the pool table before preparing for his shot.
"What do you mean by, 'I nearly killed a whole army of men for her," I asked the red vulpine as he turned around towards me. "Well, you see, I wasn't always what you see here," He began, pointing to the animatronic body of his before continuing. "Originally, I had a nice family and decent job, but I accidentally got involved with a case of a guy that was selling drugs who was trying to prove a point to the chief of police by slaughtering tons of people in a hospital due to the cops opening a case against him. Well, I was an officer who arrived early and survived. I was also being brought on as a witness to the massacre, but he figured out who I was," He added, growing resentful near the end. The glint in his eye carried a pained, angered look, one that swore revenge. "He murdered my daughter at a Fazbear's Pizzeria, he kidnapped my wife and made me hunt him down, I did, we fought for a bit and he shoved me into an open endoskeleton which locked down on me in seconds… He then…" He tried to finish, but couldn't as he held the bottle and stared off at the town below. "You know what, forget about it." Something in his eyes flared as he proceeded to throw his head back and down the bottle, before stepping out to the deck and throwing it as hard as possible, sending it flying into the town below.
"Was that really necessary," Goldy asked as he waited for the vulpine to do his shot. "It's your turn by the way." "Not in the mood," He said, grabbing another beer before pulling his shirt off and throwing it to the side before settling into the hot tub out back and sipping on the can, staring at the sunset. "Is he alright," I asked, a little concerned from how he acted near the end. "He'll be fine, just wait for Claire to come talk to him," Goldy replied, fixing up the pool table and setting the stick on the rack.
"I got a question for you anyways, since you're finally alone," Goldy said, soon sitting across from me at the table as he looked over. "This may seem like a dumb question, but are you and Mangle actually together? I mean, you two are always beside each other, but you two almost never seem like you're... intimate, I guess," Goldy said, causing me to sigh as I thought about what he said. "Well, I guess it depends on what you consider intimate, but I would say we aren't really together, not officially. I mean, we've had our moments, yeah, but neither of us have ever actually brought it up," I told him, a little uncomfortable with the question, but I trusted Goldy as he hadn't ever tried to harm us, if anything he was like a father-figure. "Honestly, I'd tell you to go for it," Goldy said with a smirk as I looked over at him. "She's bound to be head-over-heels for you considering she threw aside everything she had to be with you. She wants you, the writing's on the wall." I was about to respond before I heard someone walking over and saw Ava stepping through with a towel in a bikini which I had never seen before as she wolf-whistled over to us, continuing on her way to the hot tub.
"Is she... always like that," I asked, baffled by how 'open' the coyote was. "I honestly have no idea what to say about her. She's pretty crazy, and considering that she was designed to hunt down Jason and to kill him, I guess it makes sense when you think about the fact he is almost invincible against seemingly everything," Goldy said with a chuckle as I laughed a bit with him. "It's kind of saddening that they'll have to go back tomorrow." "They do," I asked as he looked over to me. "Yeah, they still have to perform, well, at least Jason and Claire do, Ava just enjoys being at the pizzeria," He said, soon getting up. "I need to go use the bathroom, I'll talk to you later."
I sat there for a few minutes after the gold bear left the room, Claire had walked past and already gotten in as I sat there in boredom, but eventually, I got up and took off my shirt, throwing it into one of the chairs that faced the window before I walked out, seeing that Ava and Claire were both laughing to each other in the hot tub while Jason sat in another corner with his head back seemingly asleep. The sun was just beginning to set in the background as lights had started cutting on down below. My shorts weren't exactly made for water, but it didn't really matter. I walked over and climbed in, sitting in the corner to the right of Jason as the two girls sat in the center of the other side, both of them laughing about something random as I simply relaxed in the warm water.
It felt like hours passed as I kept looking out at the city below, seeing the lights all cutting on slowly while the sun set, but my attention was soon grabbed by Mangle who had dropped in wearing a purple bikini. I could feel my head on fire, and it wasn't from the heat of the hot tub, especially since it was the first time I had seen her like this since our little 'door incident' when we had first started hanging out. She was on the left side of Ava while Claire was to the right of her, both of the vixens both leaning against her with grins as me and Jason were simply sitting on either corner, at least five feet apart from each other.
"Jason," Claire called in a teasing tone as he looked over at her. "What happened to the liquor you bought earlier?" "It's right here," He said. I heard the sound of a brown bag scrunching around as he soon pulled out a large bottle of clear liquid which had the word 'vodka' across it with an Eastern-European-sounding brand name just above it. "Well, are you going to open it," Claire asked with an even more teasing tone, as a smirk slowly crept up his face. "I thought you'd never ask," He replied, soon twisting the cap on it before taking a large swig of the liquor, passing it to his partner across the tub who also did the same. "Hey, don't make a repeat of what happened at Lorenzo's," Jason chuckled as she dipped the bottom of the bottle into the water. "You talking about when I accidentally made you chug the pool water," She asked with a smirk. Jason just rolled his eyes.
We soon started passing around the bottle, Jason, Claire, and Ava would drink it with no problem at all. Mangle didn't really like it when she tried it, so she'd pass it on to me. I didn't really mind the taste of it, but it tasted like jet fuel. It wasn't too bad for me, but I could easily see why Mangle didn't enjoy it; she was definitely a lightweight. In the end, however, Ava managed to rope the vixen into drinking with us and she got used to it rather quickly. The three girls grew rather obnoxious, while me and Jason were instead mellow and collected in the corners of the tub.
I stayed silent in the corner, staring off into the city once again, but this time I would occasionally glance at the vixen who was having fun with the other two to her right. As I thought for a minute, I realized I hadn't even bothered to see what color the other girls were wearing, but then again, I didn't really care, so I continued staring off into the town. The sun had begun to dip below the horizon, allowing the city lights to come on. It was no quiet night down there, as people were still moving around in the streets, partying, and what seemed like fighting every once in a while. It confused me as I thought about what the cashier at the store had told me, that almost no new person would help another when they saw them in trouble.
'Maybe someone needs to change that.'
After a while, I grew bored of the tub and got out, the trio of girls trying to keep me in as I continued out and dried myself off quickly. I walked up to the bedroom that I saw Mangle in earlier, passing Goldy who had fallen asleep on a couch in the entertainment room. I made my way up the steps and into the bedroom, seeing a doorway in the corner which seemed like a bathroom so I went in. Inside was a proper tub which sadly didn't have a shower, so I couldn't take a quick wash to clean up my fur after it's been ravaged by the chemical-filled water from the hot tub on the deck. I cut on the water, watching it slowly fill as I undressed and stepped into it, relaxing as the water rose, inching further and further every minute or so.
Sadly the fur wasn't fake enough that getting in the water wouldn't screw it up, so I still had to wash it. But, then again, nothing felt fake on us, to begin with. I sat in the tub for what felt like an hour as I washed my fur for the first time since forever, seeing the water get stained with dirt and blackened liquid from all the times I'd cut myself open on either purpose or accident.
"Hey, Foxy," I heard a familiar voice say as I could instantly hear my heart pounding through my ears. I hunched over and covered my groin area as I saw the familiar white vixen stumble into the room and begin to get into the tub with me, thankfully it was just barely large enough for the two of us as her legs were between mine. The water was murky enough that I couldn't see into it, but then I saw her pull off the top of the bikini and throw it out before she slumped down a bit, her foot traveling further and further towards my thigh as the water covered her bosom. I was internally freaking out on how I was getting out of here before her foot trekked too far up between my legs.
"Mangle, are you sure you know what you're doing," I asked, motioning towards how close we were as I felt my cheeks burning hotter than the sun. "Calm down," She said, resting her head against the edge of the tub while I looked around the room, seeing my shorts just on the ground in front of the tub, but the bad part was that in order to get them, I'd have to expose myself for a split second to grab them. "Mangle, that's the alcohol talking." I contemplated my options as the vixen began sinking lower and lower into the water. Instinct took over as I saw her eyes were closed and I hopped up, grabbing the shorts and dropped back down, throwing my legs through them and pulling them up quickly as I crawled up out the tub, splashing water all over the floor in the process as I slipped around, the shorts barely covering me as well.
'Note to self; don't let her get drunk anymore.'
I pulled a towel down from the rack, accidentally dragging down all the towels onto my face as I began drying off the floor and trying my damndest to dry my fur as well. I struggled out the bathroom, grabbing the pair of clothes I had grabbed on my way in and collapsed on the bedroom floor, pulling the soaking wet shorts off as I replaced them with the new pair of tan shorts I had bought, soon taking the soaked pair and throwing them into the trash can since they were so torn and worn out.
Soon enough, I was leaning against the wall trying to figure out what to do with the vixen in the tub as she couldn't stay in there, and she was too wasted to get dressed. I could let her lay down in the bed for tonight, while I sleep in one of the chairs in the corner of the room. It was the first thing I could think of, but it would have to do.
"Mangle, could you pull the plug to drain the water," I asked her from the other room to which I heard the vixen mutter something before I heard water draining. I walked in, making sure to not look at her as I grabbed a towel from the floor and held it over my view for a few minutes, waiting for the water to drain before throwing it over it and picking her up bridal-style, soon setting her on the floor and allowing her to dry off as I waited outside the bathroom once again.
I talked with her as she did, letting her hear some more stories of mine from when I'd perform, her laugh making me a little happy as she soon told me she was done and I walked in, picked her up again as she was wrapped up with a dry towel, and soon laid her in the bed.
"Foxy, would you lay down with me," She asked me as I set her on the bed gently. "I'm not sure if I should," I told her, rubbing her forehead as she looked up at me. "Please, my head really hurts," She pleaded, pulling me down a little as I eventually gave in and laid down beside her, placing the covers over her as I slept outside them, letting her have both that and a pillow between us so she wouldn't try anything during the night. Not that I would really mind, or think she would attempt it, but also so she doesn't freak out in the morning when she wakes up naked beside me as I have my arm around her waist, something I'm prone to doing while unconscious with her.
I felt her fall asleep soon after, her breathing deepening as she did while I rolled onto my back and sighed in relief as I stared at the roof. I was happy that we were finally out of there, and that we were able to sleep in a bed again, but after seeing how people treated each other… I was less than thrilled, to say the least. Though, Clark did seem like a cool guy, so I might go and talk with him soon and ask him about anything around here that would be pretty interesting to go see. But, right now, I needed to make sure the vixen beside me didn't choke on her own vomit in the middle of the night as she slept.
