I opened my eyes to see I was in a large bedroom, with a pillow behind me and a heavy blanket covering me up. I looked down and realized that I was nude before looking around and seeing that Foxy was asleep on the other side of the pillow on top of the covers as he was facing the ceiling. I held my head as it was pounding, hard. My stomach felt like I had got hit by a bat as well, and I was overall exhausted even after sleeping in a bed for the first time in months.
"What happened last night," I asked no one in particular as I looked around the room, soon getting up and throwing some clothes on before walking towards the window, looking out to see a fairly large town at the bottom of a hill we were on which seemed like it was still waking up itself. I looked down at the deck seeing the hot tub and that's when I remember we had all gotten in and Jason pulled out the alcohol.
"Ugh," I groaned while I stumbled into the bathroom and cut on the water to the tub, soon undressing again before submerging myself into it as it filled up. I laid my head back, relaxing in the warm water as I soon began cleaning out my fur and all the knots that were inside it, but something caught my eye as I looked over and saw the bikini top that I wore in the floor beside the tub and that one of Foxy's shirts was on the sink top in the corner of the room which was to my right and behind me, while the doorway was just opposite to me. Thoughts ran through my head as I tried to figure out why my top was thrown to the floor, quite literally thrown at that, and why one of his new shirts was on the counter as if he was getting prepared to change.
I tried not to think about it while I finished cleaning, soon stepping out and looking over to see that the towels were all scattered on the floor. "Okay, seriously, what the fuck happened," I asked myself as I looked around, grabbing one of the top towels and drying off. I got dressed once again, and stepped out the bathroom, walking over to Foxy who was still asleep on the bed. Soon enough, I shook him awake and he groggily looked up at me before sighing. "Yeah," He asked, closing his eyes partially.
"What happened last night," I asked him while I kept looking at the exhausted vulpine. "You got drunk," He replied, rolling to his right side as he faced the wall which was behind me. "I know I got drunk, but what happened in the bathroom," I questioned him as his eyes went wide before he sat up. "Oh," He said, going a little quiet as he trailed the word a bit. "Well… You kind of hopped into the tub with me as I was cleaning up." My eyes went wide as he said that. "Did you... see anything," I asked him sheepishly as he shook his head. "No, I didn't. The water kept you covered, but I had to throw a towel over you and pull you out," He said, causing me to sigh. "Also, I'm noting to not let you get wasted anymore."
"I guess I should say thank you," I told him, leaning over and wrapping my arms around his neck while I kissed him on the cheek. "You're welcome," He replied, grinning at me as I stood up again. "So, what's the plan for today," I asked him, sitting down on the edge of the bed as he set his feet on the floor. "Well, the others are leaving today, but they are absolutely annihilated after last night, I'm sure. I did meet a guy yesterday, he seems pretty friendly. Offered to take me out for a drink after I helped someone," He told me, leaning back into the pillow that separated us with a sigh.
"You know I don't want to get drunk after last night," I replied with a slight smile as he stared up at the ceiling. "I don't blame you, but I'm shocked you got that bad off. You drank less than me and ended up totally hammered," He said with a chuckle, turning his head towards me. "I still feel like you're meant to like alcohol," I told him, laying back with him as I felt his arm wrap around my shoulder and hold my side. "Maybe, maybe not… Also, do you know where my shirt is," He asked, looking around the room before I pointed him to the bathroom.
"Thanks," He told me, walking into the bathroom and stepping back out as he threw the red T-shirt over his head. The two of us eventually made our way down to the entertainment room which led to the deck from the night before, Jason was playing a round of pool with Goldy at the moment, as Ava and Claire were sitting on the couch, both of them groaning and moaning about something.
"I'd have thought you two would've gotten up earlier," Jason said with a smirk as we stepped in. "It was a long night," Foxy replied, groaning a little as he stretched his arm. I walked over to Claire and Ava, sitting down in one of the chairs beside the couch as I threw my legs over the arm of the chair, laying across it. "So, how was your night," Ava asked me while I looked over at her. "Long and tiring," I replied, closing my eyes as I continued laying across the chair. "I heard splashing from y'alls room, what happened," Claire asked with a smirk as I groaned. "That fox there," I said, pointing towards Foxy with a slight giggle, watching him hide a look of embarrassment in his eyes. "He slipped as he was washing up." The vulpine seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, still watching me out of the corner of his eye.
We continued sitting there for a little bit, occasionally talking about a multitude of topics as Jason and Goldy went back and forth, Jason eventually winning. The Marionette came soon after and then sent the others back to the pizzeria, leaving me, Foxy, and Goldy here to our own accord. Goldy stayed since he could simply teleport himself back later and come back when he wanted.
"Why don't we go walk around the town for a little bit," Foxy said from the round table as I looked around in boredom. "I guess, where would we go, though," I asked him as he shrugged his shoulders. "Anywhere, isn't like we have anything to do today," He replied with a smile as he stood up and walked over to me, helping me up as well. "Fair enough," I told him, the two of us proceeding to walk out of the house and down the hill towards the city. As we walked through, the crowds were still relatively small due to it being early in the morning, but I recognized some of the vendors from yesterday.
We eventually made our way to the bar from yesterday, much to my inner disdain, and we sat down at the front counter on the stools. "What do you two want," The avian-like bartender asked while he wiped down a glass. I looked over to Foxy and we both agreed on water, mostly because neither of us wanted a repeat of last night, but then Foxy got up and went to the bathroom. I sipped on the drink for a minute or two as I waited for him, but then a hound walked up and sat down beside me.
"Hey there, foxy lady," The hound said in a gruff, flirtatious voice as I rolled my eyes. "I wouldn't test that one," The bartender told him in a serious tone. "Shut it, old-timer," The hound replied as I felt him place a hand on my shoulder. I quickly turned to the side and grabbed his arm, using it as a lever as I slammed his face into the countertop. "Bitch," The hound shouted, holding his snout as he stumbled off the stool, groaning. "You again," I heard a familiar voice say from behind me as I turned around, seeing Foxy staring at the hound with his arms crossed, watching the hound intently as if he were waiting for them to make a move.
"Oh for fuck's sake," The hound shouted as Foxy grabbed him by the side of the neck and squeezed tightly, dragging him towards the doorway and kicking him outside before walking over and sitting down with me. "Again," I asked him with a surprised expression as he started sipping on his drink. "I ran into him yesterday trying to beat up some lady, it was in front of the guy's shop I told you about," He replied with a chuckle. "Huh," I grunted, looking over at the bartender who was chuckling at the red vulpine beside me.
"You wouldn't believe the number of times that guy's been beaten out of here," He told us, earning a laugh as we finished our drinks and got up, finally leaving after paying. "Okay, what now," Foxy asked me with a smile as we walked down the street in a random direction. "I could go for something to eat," I told him as we walked by the several vendors that were selling several types of things, even weapons. God knows they'd need weapons in a place like this. "Lead the way," He replied, leaving me to guide us somewhere to which I found a vendor selling snacks and we bought some, thankfully, Goldy either gave us a lot of cash yesterday, or the stuff here was really cheap.
"Is that all for you two," A the vendor asked us as me and the vulpine looked at each other for a second before responding. "Yeah, I think that's it," Foxy told him. "If you two are looking for something to do, they're having a show later tonight at the park. It's free entry, but concessions cost some cash," He told us with a smile as me and the vulpine once again looked at each other before I decided, "Well, what the hell? What's the worst that can happen?"
"Thanks, we'll consider it," I replied, soon walking off with the vulpine as we snacked on the food we had bought. We continued walking for a while, soon getting stopped due to a thin wolf animatronic running across and bumping into the two of us and falling into the ground. "Please, help me," He pleaded as I saw Foxy turn around to see a bull chasing him. "It's time for you to pay up, you fucking mutt," The bull shouted as he shoved through us towards the wolf, I saw something in Foxy shift as he quickly grabbed the bull's arm and pushed him back, angering the bull even further than he already was. "Oh? Who the hell are you?" Foxy stared into the bull's eyes, before letting out the single most intimidating chuckle I've ever heard. Foxy yanked the bull's arm, throwing the large animatronic's head to the side before he spun himself, still gripping the arm as he soon pulled the animatronic over his hip and slammed him into the ground with a loud thud as a few passersby let out a small "ooh" at the scene. Two canines that I couldn't tell the specific species of were walking up from where the bull came from.
"This doesn't have anything to do with you, fox," A gray canine said as Foxy slammed the bottom of his foot into the bull's throat, seemingly knocking out the large robot in seconds. "Alright, that's it," The other, reddish, one said as he pulled out a knife and rushed towards Foxy. He stepped out the way of the blade, grabbed his arm as he spun the canine around and threw him through a window of a store, making someone inside shout as it happened. In seconds, the other gray canine was rushing him and he grabbed something from inside the store, a large pole-like object, before throwing it like a javelin at the canine's head, nailing him directly and sending him into the floor as another loud groan was heard from the crowd of onlookers.
A bluish-gray wolf stepped out from the doorway of the store Foxy threw the canine through and chuckled. "I guess you're still helping people," The wolf said to Foxy who grew a smile as he saw the wolf. "I suppose I am, Clark," He replied with as he took a few deep breaths. "Sorry about the window, too, I got a little carried away," Foxy added, pointing at the broken window he had thrown the canine through just seconds ago, earning a hearty chuckle from the wolf as I noticed that nobody was paying attention anymore.
I walked over to the red vulpine as he looked over at me, soon introducing me to the bluish wolf who was named Clark. "I'm guessing you two are a couple," Clark said, pointing at us as I felt a blush crawl up my cheeks and heard Foxy stumble over his words a bit. "Uh... I mean, sort of, but not really," He stammered, the wolf once again chuckling as he leaned on the door frame. "Sure, okay. Well, I hope you can help pay for that window there as I don't think I can," He said, motioning toward the window and prompting Foxy to walk over and hand him some of the coins. "I'm not sure if that's anywhere near enough, but it's all I can afford right now," Foxy said, soon walking back over to me as the wolf waved while we walked away.
"That was something," I said with a smirk as we soon came to a clearing with trees across the place with green grass coating the ground. "You're telling me," The vulpine replied as we both sat down on the ground, underneath a tree. "We didn't ever figure out what that wolf was running for," I told him, causing him to shrug his shoulders. "I heard the bull say something about he was supposed to pay him or something, probably owed money or they were robbing him," Foxy said as he laid his head back.
"Either way, that was... enjoyable to watch," I added, leaning on his shoulder as we looked out, watching people walking around the area. "You know, I'd have thought that this would've been fun, but this has been relatively boring," Foxy said, looking around the place. "I enjoy it," I told him, seeing the different trees around the area, with what looked like a stage being set up for that 'show' later tonight. "Let's just relax for a few minutes, then we can go look around a little bit more," I told him, watching him look over at me. "Sounds good to me," he replied, seeing him smile at me as I did. I closed my eyes as I rested my head on his shoulder, feeling him relaxing beside me as well.
"Hey, fox," A voice called, causing both me and Foxy to look up, seeing a group of guys staring at him. "How much you lift?" "What," Foxy asked, a confused expression growing on his face which also had a hint of annoyance. "He said, how much do you lift," One of them asked again, me now getting a good look at them and seeing that it was four men, one was a horse, another looked like a tiger, the third was a lizard of some sort, the final one looked like an ape. "Why... do you care," Foxy questioned them with growing annoyance in his voice as they simply continued staring at him. "Sounds like you're scared to answer," Another said, taunting him as I heard a low growl coming out of him, just quiet enough that they couldn't hear it over the sounds of people talking around us.
"Come on, let's go," Foxy said, getting to his feet and helping me up as we went to walk away. "Pussy," The ape yelled as Foxy stopped and turned around facing them. "You really want to do this, huh," Foxy asked as I saw a smirk grow on his face. "You're the one running away," The ape replied as he finally turned around and held his arms out, inviting the ape to get a hit in. "Alright, hit me then," Foxy told him while he kept a smirk on his face, I stepped back a few feet as I watched the ape run at him and try to hit him. Foxy ducked under his arm, grabbed his wrist, and slammed his palm into the ape's elbow as a snap was heard, the ape shrieking in pain as he held his inverted arm.
"That all you got," Foxy asked in a taunting tone as the tiger pulled out a switchblade. "No, we got this also," The tiger said with a menacing grin. "I got one of those also," Foxy replied as I watched his wrist open up and the large blade spun out before locking into position, the faces of the other three soon dropping as they saw it. "Okay, okay, chill out, man," The horse said, the four of them soon booking it as Foxy waited a few seconds before letting out a small laugh.
"This place is weird," He said casually as he switched back to his hand and walked up beside me. "Very," I added, wrapping my arm around his torso as he held my waist. The two of us beginning to walk back as we saw a mother scolding her child for something, probably the tamest reprimand I've seen in this place. As we approached the Marionette's house, Foxy asked me what I wanted to do before nightfall.
"I wouldn't mind getting into the hot tub for a little bit again, minus the alcohol, of course," I told him with a smile as he looked at me. "So, are you wanting me to get in or something," He asked with a confused expression as I nodded to him. "Alright, let me grab another pair of shorts," He said, walking towards the bedroom as I followed him and waited for him to finish changing into them before he stepped out and let me get in. I undressed and grabbed the two pieces from the floor as I felt them, they were still damp, but it didn't really matter considering that they were only about to get wet again, so I got dressed and stepped out noticing that Foxy had already left the room.
I grabbed a towel that was on a chair and threw it over my shoulder, soon making my way to the deck and saw Foxy already in the hot tub. His head was laid back as he relaxed in the heated water, his relaxed breathing barely heard over the crisp breeze that gently blew past us. I quietly walked over, setting my towel on the edge of the tub as I slowly dipped into the corner opposite of him. A vixenly grin crept up my face as I thought of a way to catch the oblivious vulpine's attention, soon submerging myself in the water and kicking off the seat towards him. I brushed myself up against him as I swam up onto him, soon emerging up in his face as I felt him jump a bit due to me pressing myself against him with a grin still planted on my face.
"Um, hey," He said with a shocked tone as I placed my hands on both his shoulders and looked at him, my grin turning into a smirk. "You are very unaware," I told him with a slight giggle as I straddled his lap. "Sorry, I was just relaxing," He replied with an embarrassed look as I thought of another plan.
"I don't know…" I said trailing on a bit as I acted like I was thinking of something, soon pressing my chest against him as I crawled up beside his ear. "I thought men were supposed to be aware of a woman walking into the room," I told him in a flirtatious tone as I could feel him tense up underneath me making me laugh internally, but he soon relaxed which surprised me as I kept my mouth near his ear. "I'm questioning whether that bartender actually gave you water or not," He said with a slight chuckle as he wrapped his arms around my back, now holding me in place as I tried to break free of his grasp. "Wait, let me go," I shouted as I playfully hit his shoulder. "Well, well, well… How the turntables," He said in a mocking tone as he leaned forward and kissed me for what felt like a minute before he pulled back, a smirk planted on his face as he still held me tightly.
"Fine, you got me, can you let me go now," I asked him as I pushed away from him. "No, I think I want to have some fun," He replied as he placed his muzzle on my shoulder. "How well can you swim?" I gained a confused expression as he said that. "What do you mean," I asked him as he chuckled lightly. "Don't worry about it," He replied, picking me up as he stood up and rushed out of the tub, soon jumping off the deck as I screamed bloody-murder at him. I felt cold water surround me as we landed into a pool that was below the deck which I hadn't noticed the day before. He continued holding me under the water for a few seconds, before kicking off the bottom and shooting up out the water with me in his hands as he grabbed onto the edge of the pool.
"You ass," I shouted at him, hitting him playfully in the chest as I looked up at the deck above us, seeing that stairs were leading down from it to here. "Did you even know this was here?" "Of course I did, why else would I ask can you swim," He retorted in a joking manner, resting me on his knee as we hung on the edge of the pool. "What the fuck was that," I heard a familiar voice exclaim as I saw Foxy look over my shoulder at someone. "Oh, hey, Goldy," He said with a smile as I looked over my shoulder, seeing Goldy standing at the edge of the pool with a magazine in his hand. "Did you two just jump off the deck into the pool," Goldy asked with a shocked expression as he looked up at the deck which seemed about ten or so feet above us, before looking back down. "In my defense, he pulled me with him," I said, pointing at the vulpine who still had his hand around my waist. "I'm just going to say, that was shockingly well-executed, but be careful," Goldy said with a slight chuckle as he walked up the steps and out of view.
I felt a chill run up my spine due to the cold water in the pool. "Foxy, can we get back in the hot tub," I asked him in a pleading tone as I looked him in the eye. "It's freezing in here." "I don't know," He said with a smirk as he let go of the edge and leaned back in the water, pulling me with him as he floated into the center of the pool. "I think you'll get used to it," He added, pulling me over to him and wrapping his arms around my waist as he began swimming around the pool slowly with his feet. "I honestly do question how much it cost Marionette to have all this built," He said, looking around with a curious look on his face as he kept his arms around me. "I have no idea," I replied, soon giving up on trying to break free as he pulled me around the pool slowly, examining each inch of the sky in the meantime.
"You having fun dragging me around," I asked him with a smirk as I rested my jaw on his shoulder. "It would be more fun if you'd drag yourself around," He replied, resting his head against mine as he continued paddling with his feet backwards. "Nah, I think I enjoy you doing all the work," I said with a slight giggle, soon running my hand across his chest, feeling his fur as he continued pulling me around. "You know something I've just realized," He said, causing me to pull my head up and look at him as he was grinning. "You're a tease." I grew a smirk on my face as he said that. "If that's the case I doubt you'll mind me doing this," I told him, wiggling out of his arms as I twisted around his back and came back up to the surface by going under his right arm, coming face-to-face with him as I emerged out the water with an even larger smirk as he realized he couldn't hold me still.
I saw him grin at me as he tried to squeeze his right arm around me, but I managed to pull my waist and legs out from him before he did, causing him to gain a surprised expression as we began a little game of cat-and-mouse in the water; him struggling to catch me as I managed to swim and twist my way out of his grasp. Eventually, he managed to kick off the side and grab me before I could twist out the way, soon dragging me over to the other side of the pool. He looked at me with a grin as I was giggling at him. "Finally," I said, hearing him sigh happily as we hung off the wall again, his hand also holding my waist. "You still want to get out of here," He asked me while I thought for a minute, looking over and seeing that the sun was just about to start setting. "Sure," I replied, allowing him to drag me over towards the exit of the pool.
The two of us climbed out, soon walking up the stairs to the deck and to the hot tub where we grabbed our towels and began drying off. Eventually, we made our way inside to see Goldy shooting pool by himself as we walked through. "You two look like you had fun," Goldy chuckled as he lined up a shot. "Yeah, we're going to go clean up," Foxy replied as I followed him out the room and up the stairs, soon traveling to the left and down the hall towards our room. We walked in, Foxy grabbing some clothes and walking into the bathroom before walking out and sitting down at the table for a minute. I looked through the clothes, eventually realizing that we were going out to that show tonight.
'I wish I had something more formal to wear.'
