Okay, so, before we start: We realized earlier that we didn't actually say what the waitress was. We have gone back and updated the chapters but just so you know, the waitress is a panther.

I woke up with my arms wrapped around the vixen's waist, holding her tightly against me as she breathed into my chest. It felt comforting, that; and knowing that she was now mine. Not like as in ownership, more as in... well, you get the idea.

"My vixen."

I unknowingly mumbled the two words, reflecting my thoughts. I never thought that I'd have ever said that, let alone out loud. She shifted in my arms partially, nuzzling further into the crook of my neck as I looked over my shoulder at the window, seeing that it was still dark outside, but the sun was just coming on the horizon. A sigh escaped my maw as I turned back over to the arctic vixen, gently rubbing her back in an attempt to – reluctantly – wake her peaceful slumber.

"Mangle, it's time to get up."

She let out a groan into my chest before mumbling something incoherent; if I was to take an educated guess, it was probably something along the lines of 'five more minutes.' "Mags," I called to her in a somewhat teasing-comforting manner, gently rubbing her cheek with my right hand as she loosened up her grip around my torso. "Why are you waking me up? Did we spill something in the bed," She asked me with half-lidded eyes as I gave her a small smile, shaking my head in response to her.

"Then why did you get me up?"

"You said you wanted to go to work with me today."

She planted her face against my chest, giving out a groan of defeat as I assumed she remembered last night. "Come on, I'm giving you the chance to get cleaned up before we go," I said, continuing to caress every inch of her back before she pulled her face back and lazily got up. I crawled out of the bed and walked in behind her, seeing the vixen stripping down as I walked up to the closet and pulled out a pair of pants and a red t-shirt. I threw them on and walked out to give her some privacy as she washed herself, soon sitting down at the table as I waited.

After what felt like half an hour, I heard the vixen finally crawl out of the tub and begin drying off. I waited another ten before she finally walked out of the bathroom with a white t-shirt and pants, the scent of apple cinnamon following behind her.

"Are you ready?"

She gave me a smirk as I chuckled to her, soon watching her sigh while I got up and walked towards her. "Yes… I guess so," She replied as I wrapped my arms around her and nuzzled up against her shoulder, making her giggle. "Alright, let's go and head down there," I told her as we left the room and went down the hall, soon exiting the house and beginning our trek down the hill.

Our trip down was uneventful as per usual, it was still early in the morning and barely anyone was awake. Hell, I wouldn't even put it past some of the store owners to be in bed at the moment.

"I think I'm going to reconsider waking up with you in the morning."

I chuckled at the vixen as I looked over at her, seeing her sigh as she rested her head against my arm, prompting me to wrap it around her back and let her lean into my side. "And to think I do this every morning," I replied, hearing her mumble something. "Yeah, I wouldn't be doing this. Not with how my sleep schedule is," She said as I gave her a disbelieving glare. "Me and you go to sleep at the same time every night… And you even sleep in later than me," I exclaimed, hearing her giggle while I gave her a playful squeeze with my arm. "Okay, maybe it isn't that bad. I just need to get used to it," She sighed, soon wrapping her arm around me to rub my back as we walked.

Eventually, the two of us arrived at the bar to find that it was locked, not something incredibly uncommon as I've seen Andy not arrive until the last minute a couple of times over the past few months. "So, what do we do now," Mangle asked me as I looked over to her. "Well, there's a bench over here so we can sit and wait until they arrive. This isn't too uncommon anyways," I replied, motioning over to a small wooden bench that sat in front of the window to the bar. "Alright," She said, walking over to the bench and sitting down beside me before she rested her head on my shoulder. "I'm going to take a nap in the meantime."

I thought against arguing with her and let the vixen sleep, soon wrapping my arm around her and pulling her closer to me so she wouldn't freeze in the chilly morning wind that rolled through the street. She sighed as she leaned into me, clearly enjoying the warmth as I managed to block the majority of the stray wind from reaching her. One by one, the different stores slowly opened and more people started walking along the street.

After a few minutes of enjoying the silence, I looked over to see Victoria walking up from our right.

"He's late?"

"Yeah," I replied, looking back over at the vixen and seeing her sleeping soundly in my embrace before looking back over to the pantheress. "Alright, well, I'll wait about twenty minutes. If he doesn't show up by then, we're going to check his house," She said, pulling out a key of her own and opening the door to the bar, before stepping inside and cutting on the lights. She set a small wooden block in the door behind her, likely to help let some of the cool air in. I returned my attention to the vixen who was still passed out under my arm, soon gently shaking her back to reality. She let out a small yawn as she sat up and stretched.

"So, enjoy your nap," I asked her with a chuckle as I stood up and held my hand out for her. "Yes, yes I did," She replied, grabbing my hand and standing up before we both entered the bar. As we walked in, I noticed Victoria grow a smirk as she saw the vixen walk in behind me. "I wasn't aware that you'd be bringing your girlfriend to work with you," She chuckled to me, walking behind the counter before beginning to wash up some glasses. "Eh, she's waiting for her friends. Just decided to tag along with me this morning," I replied before sitting down at the counter. "Bring her as much as you'd like. I don't mind, and I doubt Andy would either," She said, shrugging her shoulders as she grabbed a couple more glasses and cleaned them.

"Talking about me," Mangle asked with a smirk as she crawled into the stool beside me. "Yes," I replied, leaning over towards her and kissing her on the cheek before sitting back in my chair properly. "Good things I hope," She added, resting her jaw in her hand as she looked over at me. "To be fair, I don't think I should be running the risk of pissing you off after last night," I replied with a chuckle as I rubbed my left shoulder.

"What happened last night?"

We both turned towards the cat as she set down a glass and leaned against the counter towards us with a curious look. "Hmm, take a guess, I'll tell you if you're hot or cold," I replied with a smirk as she nodded.

"Fight?"

"Cold."

"First time having sex?"

I shot the panther a glare before continuing.

"Freezing."

"Baby?"

A dumbfounded expression crawled up the vixen and I's faces as I thought for a minute. "I don't know how to respond to that – or if that's even possible… I think it's safe to say cold."

'Who the hell thought giving robots the ability to have children was a good idea?'

The writers; that's who. We aren't sure about it either.

'Touché.'

"Step up in your relationship?"

"Warm."

She started looking at my hand before a smirk grew on her face, soon giggling as she kept us waiting. "I'm guessing that you both marked each other," She exclaimed with a grin as I removed my hand, the t-shirt being baggy enough that the fang marks were visible. "Ding ding ding," The vixen giggled before leaning over and resting her hand on my shoulder. "Seriously, though, if you didn't realize that it was possible for you two to have a child I am actually worried for you," Victoria added, soon walking off towards the backroom and leaving us alone at the counter.

"Huh…"

"I guess that would explain how Jason and Claire have Kimber," Mangle said, seemingly dumbfounded just as much as me. "I may need to ask him about that, then," I replied, leaning against the counter while the waitress walked back up with a box and set it on the counter. "Maybe Goldy would know something. He's practically rebuilt us from scratch," She suggested, causing me to nod in agreement before I looked at the clock on the wall, seeing it was now 7:23 A.M.

"Okay, Vic, I think we should probably go check on the man," I told her, getting out of my seat, and earning a groan from the vixen as she had to sit back up. "Yeah, I guess we should," She sighed, setting down a few bottles on the counter which she had pulled from the box. "Come on, Mags," I told the arctic fox with a smirk as she shot me a look that could kill, but I knew she wouldn't hurt me. "Fine, but I'm going to beat you over that nickname tonight," She replied, getting out of her stool as she walked up behind me and smacked me in the side.

"Ow, I thought you said you were going to beat me tonight?"

"That was a love-tap."

I couldn't help but grin at the vixen as I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and pulled her over to my side, nuzzling into her shoulder as we stepped outside and waited for Victoria to lock the bar up. The three of us eventually started walking towards the park, and for the first time in both I and the vixen's life, going past it towards the coastline. It was a fairly long walk, shockingly, we went farther than I expected by far. We soon coming to a fenced in yard which had a good acre of land and a fairly large house on it, though, nothing obnoxious.

Why he had such a place? I have no idea. But was it beautiful? Hell, yes.

"I, for one, would've thought that Andy owned an apartment somewhere."

The panther and I both looked at the vixen who scanned the land around us timidly. "Well, when you have a hobby like he does you can't really own an apartment," Victoria replied, slightly grunting as we made our way up the stairs and onto the porch. "And what would that be," I asked, seeing her turn over to me with a smirk. "He collects firearms. If you ask him about one, he's probably got some knowledge of it," She said, soon pulling out a key and opening the door.

"Stay here. I don't want him freaking out and pulling a gun on us in his sleep."

I looked around us, seeing the sun hovering over the distant buildings and trees that bordered the fence line. "I hope he's okay," Mangle said, slightly rubbing up against my arm as I looked over at her with a reassuring smile. "Well, if what Victoria's said is true, I highly doubt that anyone's hurt him. He probably woke up feeling sick this morning," I told her, turning myself towards her so I could grab her other hand with mine, gently holding them as I leaned forward and rested my forehead against hers, slowly rocking side-to-side.

However, our moment was soon cut short by the sound of the panther screaming, causing me to let go of her hands and rush inside. The walls were made with wood paneling, nothing insanely special – at least until I reached the doorway Victoria was standing in. The room now before me housed several cases that were smashed open, the floor was lined with various rifles, shards of glass, and a very familiar hawk who was pretty beaten up.

"Well, fuck. You don't need to just stand there and shout! What the hell is that solving?"

I chuckled at the avian as I walked over and grabbing his forearm, pulling him up off the floor and earning a painful grunt from him before I patted him on the shoulder. "Are you alright," I asked him to which he smirked. "No, I'm not alright. My house got broken into, almost seventy percent of the rifles I owned are now gone, and my one of my showrooms looks like total shit. And not to mention, I got pretty fucked up by some of those damn gang members," He ranted, causing me to inwardly smile at the avian's bluntness.

'At least this means he isn't horribly injured.'

I pulled his arm over my shoulder so he could lean on me as we started walking out of the room. "Watch out for the glass there," I warned Andy as we walked out. "Yeah, no shit," He replied, causing me to snicker at him to which he started spouting even more insults.

'Note to self: never mess with this man's rifles.'

Victoria eventually led us into the kitchen; it wasn't insanely large, it featured a relatively small island counter with bar stools sat up beside it that were in much better condition than anything at the bar, featuring a black leather instead of the brown pleather at the bar. "Yeah, sit me down right here, hotshot," Andy said, soon pulling his arm from around my shoulder and hobbling onto the stool. "Damn it," He muttered, most likely about his rifles.

"I'm going to go grab her, real quick," I told them, motioning towards the front porch with my thumb as the panther nodded. I turned around and went outside, soon seeing the vixen looking down the hall towards me from the porch with a concerned look. "Is everything okay," She asked me, grabbing my arm as I placed my hands on her upper arms, speaking softly to her.

"Andy's fine, for the most part. Some thugs came in and robbed his house."

She grew and even more concerned look as I sighed and dragged her through the halls – or rather she dragged me – towards the kitchen. "Thank goodness you're okay," She exclaimed, walking towards the avian as she grabbed his wing and looked at him with concern. I saw him hold back a smart comment, soon sighing before speaking to her. "I'm glad that you all came when you did," He said, taking a more grateful tone instead of his unhinged one earlier. "Do you think you'll be able to work," Victoria asked from across the island, holding a glass of water in her hands as she set it down and slid it to Andy. "No, my sides hurt too much to stand that long," He grunted, moving his hand to his side as he put light pressure on it. "I think I may have a fractured rib, but I'll get it checked out. Right now, we need to get the bar open. Now, I already know you can handle the counter," He said, looking at Victoria as she nodded. "Foxy, you are a bouncer, you already know this, and it's not very comforting to have someone of your stature delivering drinks. Granted, you do it anyways at times, but only whenever we're getting overloaded with orders," He added, his attention focused on me before turning it over to the vixen. "Now, I'd like to make an offer. I won't blame you if you shoot it down – but, I would like to have you fill in Victoria's position as a waitress in the meantime. I would be grateful if you just do it while I'm out recovering for the next couple of weeks, and you can keep doing it afterwards if you want."

Part of me wanted to object to her getting the job, mostly because I know that some of the patrons would try and flirt with her, but then again, I would be there to prevent that anyway; so I decided to stay out of it and let her decide. "Well… I guess a couple of weeks wouldn't hurt," She said, shrugging a bit as she looked over at me. "What do you think?"

"Well, I'm not going to lie. I personally don't like the idea, but then again, we really do need the extra hands… And he isn't wrong about people not liking me to deliver their drinks, either. So, I'm not gonna stop you."

She gave me a smirk before she turned back to the hawk. "I'll do it, but as for continuing it afterwards, we'll cross that bridge when we get there," She sighed, shaking the avian's wing as he nodded his head in an understanding tone. "Okay, I'd say that you might want to get back so you can open up the bar. We can't lose that money, especially considering there's now three people on the payroll," He chuckled in a somewhat serious manner as I let the pantheress and vixen go in front of me down the hall, except I was called back by the hawk.

"Yeah?"

"I want to talk with you for a minute," Andy said, motioning me over to him and pulling out the stool beside him. "Alright," I mumbled, walking over and sitting on the stool before he let out a deep sigh. "I wanted to wait until they were out of the room before I mentioned this, but… This was a targeted attack. Not a robbery."

I gave the hawk a confused look as he stopped me from speaking.

"Just listen for a second. I owe a gang some money, hence why those guys you fought with those weeks ago came in. And, the sad part was that I was forced into the situation as they threatened to burn down the bar if I didn't pay them for protection," He said, causing me to lean on the counter, now intrigued. "Well, they never actually protected the bar, so I refused to pay them. The man who was in charge of their little operation, I can't remember his name but he's some short rat, hired a crew to come here early this morning and beat me, taking my rifles in the process. Most of them were extremely valuable and some even military-grade that I shouldn't even have been able to get. Anyways, now, we have a crew of dick-wads out on the street, armed with high-powered rifles, looking for a fight."

My thoughts instantly jumped to a certain rat who interrupted lunch between Mangle and I.

"So, here's the reason I wanted to talk with you," He said, reaching down towards a shelf on the end of the island before pulling out a somewhat short and thin rifle. It had a long, thin polymer magazine, a trend with the rifle. "This… This is an Aero Survival Rifle, ASR for short, chambered in 9x19 Parabellum. I want you to have it with you at all times, and the reason I chose this one specifically is because it has a shorter barrel, fit for closer encounters," He said, holding the weapon out to me. "Now, I think it's safe to assume you have no training with firearms, so I took the liberty of unloading the mag already. So it's safe for you to handle, always treat it like it's still loaded," He added as I grabbed the firearm and inspected it.

"How effective would this be against someone?"

"Well, if you know where to shoot, it's pretty much unbelievable."

"I mean, I guess you're not wrong," I replied, looking back down at the rifle and taking out the magazine. "Yeah, I just want you to come by after-hours so we can get some training in with it. After I see quality skill, I'll allow you to carry it with you occasionally, but…" He got up and slowly walked into another room through a doorway in the corner behind him, soon exiting holding a holster that had a handgun in it. "I want you to carry this with you today. It's firing .380 ACP, so it's not going to be insanely powerful, but it's small and compact. Stand up real quick," He said as I obliged and held my arms out slightly.

The hawk began wrapping the holster around my shoulders, but then thought against it and took the holster off the straps, going back into his room and coming out with a belt. "Hey, I already have a belt," I told him, pulling my shirt up for him to see. "Take it out of the first couple of loops," He replied as I once again did as told, soon grabbing the holster from him and placing it on the belt before fastening it back up, walking around for a bit to see how it felt.

"I usually wear that under my coat at work, but since I won't be there I don't really need it."

"You sure you don't want to have me try and shoot some targets for a minute or something," I asked him, somewhat dumbfounded that he trusted me with a firearm, granted, he just said he knew I had no training whatsoever a second ago. "Eh, I see it as more of a deterrence. Don't worry, if they see you carrying a gun, I doubt they'll try anything," He replied, chuckling lightly. "Also, I want you to thank you for being honest about not liking the idea, and agreeing with it anyways," He added, soon reaching into his pocket before pulling out a key. "And I want you to carry this with you in the mornings. I'll get it back when I start going to work again," He finished, handing me the key to what I guessed was for the bar as he soon ushered me out the house to find the pantheress and vixen on the front porch.

"I see you've got a new toy to play with," Victoria chuckled as she eyed the holster on my hip. "Why did he give you a gun," Mangle asked, with a somewhat concerned tone as I simply shrugged. "I have no idea, and if I'm being honest, I don't think I want to know…" I replied, shaking my head as I started walking off the porch ahead of the other two. We walked back, the sun nearing the top of the sky above us as we saw that there were people sitting at the benches in front of the bar, with seemingly pissed looks.

"Great, you arrived."

"Fucking A. Finally, I can get something to drink."

"Who's the vixen?"

I ignored the first two, but couldn't resist the urge to shoot the last one a glare, stifling the urge to send my fist into their throat as Victoria walked up to the door and opened it up, allowing us to enter and get set up as the people outside walked in behind us. "Okay, since you're now working here, I think it's only right for me to give you a few lessons and tips," Victoria said with a small smile as she walked the vixen behind the counter, soon teaching her about random things while serving drinks to patrons at the counter.

"Where's Andy at this morning?"

I looked towards the voice to my left, seeing the hound that I had beaten all those months ago when I first arrived looking at me with a somewhat concerned look. "Oh, hey there. He's out. He'll be back in probably two weeks," I replied, seeing him nod his head as he walked up to the bar. 'He doesn't seem near as bad as he was when I first met him,' I thought to myself as I leaned back into the rest of my stool as Vic began sending the vixen around the room to serve drinks. "Maybe this won't be so bad-"

The sound of a smack came from the other side of the room, and I instantly knew what happened. I looked over, seeing Mangle with a flustered look, and the wolf had groped her. I shot up and practically walked through the tables to get to him, grabbing both his hands and squeezing hard, until a sickly crack was heard throughout the room and the wolf howled in pain before I tossed him into the ground and stomped onto his groin, earning another howl from the wolf alongside a good few groans from the onlookers.

It took me a few seconds, but I finally saw that the wolf's hands were crushed, the fingers going every other direction than what would be considered correct as he howled in pain on the floor. Sharp pain was going through my jaw, and when I rubbed up against the spot with my tongue; I felt that I had cracked a tooth in the process, causing me to merely chuckle before spitting off to the side and looking back up at the other patrons.

I threw on the stage voice, letting my voice boom at its peak volume.

"ALRIGHT, YE FUCKIN' CUNTS. IF I CATCH ANY-FUCKIN'-ONE OF YA GRABBIN', STARIN', OR EVEN THINKIN' OF ME MATE IN A WAY OTHER THAN A SIMPLE GESTURE, I'M GONNA GUT YE LIKE A FISH AND HANG YER INNARDS ALONG THA WALLS FOR MY OWN SADISTIC PLEASURE!"

I looked around the room, growling as I grabbed the wolf by the shoulder and the back of the waistband of his pants, carrying him towards the door before kicking them open and tossing him out into the street. "Fuckin' deserve to be gutted and hung from ta damned walls like ta poor bitch ye are," I grumbled, stomping over to my seat before sitting down and staring at everyone.

"I told you not to fuck with that fox!"

I looked over at hound who shouted the comment throughout the room, causing me to inwardly chuckle before standing up and walking over to the counter and getting a beer, soon walking back to the seat to recollect myself.

To say the least, the rest of the day was very silent. No one dared to make a move on even other patrons as I sat up on the stool. It was like they could feel my eyes piercing their souls as they tried to avoid my gaze, and honestly, I quite enjoyed not having to do much other than occasionally tossing out someone who drunk a bit to much. Though, my little moment did nothing to prevent the crowd from being as rowdy as ever with their jokes and stunts. At one point, they even set up a whole game of poker in the back which caused some fights, but I still enjoyed watching them pull stupid stunts like trying to cheat, only for another patron to grab them and throw them out for me. Sure, it took some of the fun out of throwing people out, but at least Mangle didn't have anyone harassing her.
