A few days had passed.

I was currently sitting in the entertainment room with Claire and Kimber as Ava had gone to do something else (she didn't bother telling us), and both Foxy and Jason decided to go to Andy's for practice. Though, as I sat on the floor in front of the couch in silence, watching Claire play with the small kit on the floor, I couldn't help but feel a little jealous, and to wonder how it was even possible. Why would we be able to do that – why would we even need to do that? I felt an urge to ask the vixen about it slowly rise within me, until it was simply unmaintainable, so I finally asked her.

"Hey, uh, Claire, do you... find it a little weird that…"

"Me and Jason somehow have a child as robots?"

"Yes, exactly," I exclaimed, throwing myself back into the couch with a loud sigh of relief. "Honestly, me and him don't understand it much either. We would occasionally go and look at the files which explained it- well, more like hours spent studying them…" She said, looking down at the kit who was currently walking around the room, examining the several things that were in it. "It's weird… Since I'm a 'female' I was built with a fabricator, as they put it in the files. Well, we had our moment, and after six weeks, shockingly, we finally had her. Jason was passed out after having to be detained due to… Eh, I wouldn't worry about that part. Anyways, I'd assume you're built with one as well," She added with a sigh, crawling up onto the couch, beside me.

"Why would we ever need to do that though," I asked her, seeing her kind of shrug. "It's supposedly cheaper than having several dedicated factories… Honestly, it's somewhat jarring how they can make us so life-like, make us seem like actual people – well, then again, I was an actual person – and manage to give us so many emotions."

I started at her in bewilderment as she continued.

"It's blatantly unethical, but I guess they don't care. The fact that no one has said anything about it scares me as well. You'd assume that someone would speak out against it, but, it just doesn't happen," She replied, leaning against the arm of the chair on the other side of the couch.

"I mean, heck, they may even sell out animatronics to people directly, and for what purposes? Eh, I'd rather never learn…"

"What do you mean by; 'I was a person," I asked the vixen, seeing her sigh. "Me and Jason, and even Kimber, were originally actual people… Wait- I wonder if that's why other animatronics never complain about that stuff. They've never had a taste of actual freedom," She partially exclaimed, looking like she just made some great revelation, but I decided not to ruin her train-of-thought and didn't bother pestering her about it. She rambled on for a few minutes, until Kimber walked over to us and tried to climb onto the couch, causing me to lean over and pull her up with us before she sat down and leaned onto her mother's thigh, seemingly passing out in an instant.

'She's shockingly heavy for a kit her size.'

Claire looked down at her, soon running her hands across the small vixen's back as she let out a sigh of content, smiling at the kit. "She's pretty heavy," I said, quiet so I wouldn't disturb them. "Yeah, she takes after Jason in that department. Seems that an endoskeleton can be passed down…" She replied, continuing to watch the kit with a motherly gaze as she rubbed the small of her back. "What was it like," I asked her, seeing her drift off into thought before she shifted her gaze onto me.

"Exhausting, but… I'd have done anything to get her back… And, Jason… He did give everything to get her back. Not physically, maybe, but he sure showed that he was willing, and even attempted to at times. He's never been open about his experiences, really. All of his stress is bottled up, and was bottled up… He-" She seemingly grew somewhat uncomfortable as I saw a tear try and claw its way out of the corner of her eye. "When we finally were able to relax, I kept having nightmares about when I first saw his eye. He had stormed off towards the bathroom, everyone wondered what was wrong, and I decided to stand up and follow him… Eventually, I made my way to the bathroom to see that he was staring at the mirror, but in the dream, he had taken his hook and dug into the eye socket, twisting around as I heard a metal shriek from his hook gouging his eye. He yanked it out and let a stream of blood leak from it. This wasn't what we have running through us either, it was actual blood… It was gut-wrenching, but the eye remained. Granted, the natural eye hung off his hook, there was still a red glow emitted from the socket, almost like hellfire…"

"I thought his eye was black?"

"It wasn't always black. At first, it was a bright red- I'm sorry. I'll get back to your question," She sighed, casting me an apologetic look before looking down at the kit again, a small smile growing on her face. "It was exhausting, as I said, I would force Jason to do almost all of the performances as I could simply not do anything other than stand up, and after the third week, I could barely do that for any long period of time. Though, it may simply be due to the fact her endoskeleton is much denser than mine, so I guess it needed more material to build it as well," She chuckled, moving her hand from the kits back, up to the top of her head. "Why are you asking me anyways?"

My mind went blank for a moment as I wondered why I wanted to ask her in the first place, as well.

"I'm not sure. I was told about it the other day and it just made me… kind of curious? I don't really know…"

"You sure you aren't considering it yourself," The vixen asked me as I looked over, somewhat flustered from the idea. "I mean… I don't think now would be a good time for us to think about that. We don't even have a house to ourselves yet," I replied, sheepishly rubbing the back of my head as I thought about it. "To be fair, we have a smaller bedroom than you guys have here," Claire retorted with a smirk as I sighed. "Maybe? I'm not really sure," I told her, unknowingly staring over at the two vixens while Claire continued rubbing the smaller one's head. "I won't pressure you about it. That's Ava's job," She told me with a slight giggle as I let out my own quiet laugh.

"Though, I do think it's quite weird myself, but I'd rather not argue about it seeing as I do have my family back," She said, letting out another sigh of content as she smiled at the napping kit. "Yeah, I may not ever understand it. I mean, what would happen if two separate species of models were to do it? What would even come out of that," I asked, leaning into the back of the couch. "I'd guess that it'd simply create a version that's either of the species. Like, it becomes one of the species of the parent models," She said with more of an asking tone as I nodded. "Maybe. That's something I wouldn't mind looking into, now," I replied, slightly smirking at the thought.

"I question how it's more effective than dedicated factories… I mean, do they purposefully… You know?"

I watched as Claire shuddered on the other side of the couch, most likely from the thought. "I'm not sure," I replied, as I heard a sigh escape her maw. "You know, I kind of wish I had a cellphone right about now," She said, chuckling slightly as I looked over to her, somewhat confused. "If I did; I'd call Jason and tell him to pick up something to eat," She added, causing me to realize that we hadn't thought about anything for dinner at all. "Yeah, I wish that we could," I replied with a sigh. "I guess that means we should get up and scour the kitchen."

I stood up, turning around to see the kit on Claire's thigh once again, causing me to reconsider what I said. "Well, more like me," I chuckled to her, turning towards the window to see white speckles falling onto the deck, causing me to grow curious as I stepped towards the doorway and walked outside. "Oh, wow! It's snowing here," Claire exclaimed, looking over the back of the couch towards the window. "Snow," I asked, somewhat dumbfounded as she seemingly realized something. "I forgot that you probably never seen it. Well, how do I put it… Snow is basically frozen rain. Usually happens during late fall and early winter," She added, causing me to feel somewhat educated on it before turning over and reaching out, a few of the speckles landing into my hand before they near-instantly melted.

"I guess we're more northern than I thought," Claire sighed as I walked back into the room. "I guess. Well, I'm going to go look in the kitchen now," I told her, soon walking out the room and towards the kitchen, wondering on how much snow is going to fall and how long we've actually been here now…

It was now a few hours later.

Kimber had woken up at some point, causing Claire to play with her – not that she minded from what I've seen. It stopped snowing probably fifteen minutes after it started, which honestly baffled me on how the weather managed to change so quickly, something I had seen several times from the thunderstorms that ripped through the area. As I looked behind me, I saw a familiar coyote holding a wine glass with a mostly full bottle beside her. She had found the Marionette's wine cellar, and was thankfully taking it easy on his stash. Foxy and Jason were still out and about in town, most likely at Andy's, but I was growing somewhat worried as I saw the sky slowly darken outside.

'He's never been home this late from Andy's, either.'

"What are you cooking?"

I turned back over to Ava, seeing her look at me somewhat curiously before taking a sip from the glass in her hand. "Foxy taught me. It's called chicken alfredo," I replied, finally turning off the flame and leaving it to sit there for a little bit before sitting down on a stool at the counter. "Is everything he learned some type of Italian dish," She asked me, somewhat dumbfounded as I smirked at her. "Well, to be fair; we are from a pizzeria, the only person we had contact with was a man on minimum wage, and it's pretty easy to make Italian food for cheap," I replied, earning a shrug from the coyote as I sighed and rested against the counter.

"Why do you seem so bummed out," She asked me, dragging the last word out a few seconds before ending with a groan, causing me to smirk at her again. "I'm bored, and not to mention I want to go see Foxy since I haven't talked with him since this morning," I told her, watching the food in the pan cool off as I heard the other vixen walk in. "Why don't we just go see them," She asked, seemingly hearing our conversation. "I haven't talked with Jason much, and I wouldn't mind a moment to myself. Kimber could stay here with Goldy in the meantime, too."

"Yeah, you've finished dinner anyways. Let's go see what they're up to," Ava said with a grin, hopping out of her seat as I decided I might as well, and quickly ate my food.

Ava and I were now standing in the foyer, waiting on Claire to join us as she went to find Goldy to watch over Kimber while we were gone.

"Took you long enough," Ava said, picking at a piece of fur on her arm. "You know, I'm starting to regret getting a suit now…"

"I thought you would've rusted up by now," Claire replied with a smirk before stepping past us and to the door, soon opening it up and walking outside. "Yeah, how can I forget that hellhole of a basement," She shouted to the vixen as we stepped outside, soon grunting about something as we shut the door and caught up to Claire. "You were the one who asked us to come," Claire retorted. "I specifically remember you asking me if you could follow us down, only to stop at the stairs due to a little flooding."

"A little…"

"Oh, hush. It was only a couple inches," Claire giggled, resting her hand on the coyote's shoulder. "It came up to your thigh… That's more like two and a half feet" Ava replied, looking somewhat dumbstruck at the arctic vixen in the center of us. "Fair enough. But I still think you are better off with the suit. Especially considering how much you love getting in the hot tub," Claire said, giving the coyote a slight smile as the latter let out a sigh. "Yeah, I suppose you're right on that," Ava said as we continued down the road.

We talked about a multitude of topics as we eventually got to the park, deciding to cut through it so we could save some time… That was until we heard a wolf-whistle from behind us, causing me to grimace as we turned around to see a group of canines armed with weapons, mainly wolves, staring at us with disgusting expressions. Hell, even the one woman in the group, a golden retriever from the looks of it, was staring.

"What are some numbers like you doing out here," A blue-furred wolf asked. "We're definitely not out here to see you're unwashed ass," Ava replied, arms folded up as she simply looked at the wolf in disappointment. "Wow. You're quite brash. Maybe the two vixens aren't as rude," He asked in a somewhat hopeful tone as he cast his gaze towards me and Claire. "One's marked, the other has a child," Ava told him, causing him to simply shrug. "I mean, if she's not marked-" He went to say before Claire cut him off.

"I'm legally married, dickhead."

"That doesn't mean anything out here," He said in a flirtatious tone as he advanced towards us, only for Ava to step in the way and growl at him. It only just then entered my mind that she was actually quite intimidating for a female, she reached his height without needing to stand on her toes or anything. The wolf simply growled back, the two of them staring each other down until I heard a pair of familiar voices from behind us.

"What the fuck are ya doin' hittin' on our mates!?"

The wolf instantly changed his growl into a whimper as Foxy walked up behind me and rested his hand on my shoulder; Jason doing the same on Claire, except his wrist was changed to something else with a long, thin, black box poking out the bottom. He had his wrist pointed towards the ground in front of the seven canines behind the blue wold, only for loud-gunshot sounding bangs to go off, deafening me for a few seconds before I managed to regain my senses and see that Jason had shot at their feet with something, causing them all to run off in second... Well, all except the blue wolf.

"Okay, asswipe. It's time I taught you a lesson," Jason stated with a menacing grin, soon walking towards him and effortlessly towering over the poor lupine, only to switch to his hand and grab him by the throat before flicking up his eye patch, exposing the blackened eye. "What the fuck are you doing to me! Put me down," The wolf shouted, his hands gripping at the vulpine's wrist. "Let's take a stroll through the forest," He told the wolf, baring his fangs before he walked off the path and into the dense trees, only for loud howls of pain to escape the thick woods after a good five minutes of waiting.

"We should probably go ahead," Ava mumbled, motioning us to follow as we started walking back towards the house, however, I made sure I had the vulpine's arm wrapped tightly around my waist to prevent any further annoyances from other groups. As we walked away, the sounds of screaming were still audible, granted, we had walked out of the park.

It was almost an hour later when we had finally arrived at the house, soon entering to see that Goldy had Kimber asleep and wrapped up in a blanket on a couch across from the fireplace in the main room while he tinkered with a part in a chair to the side, proving to be a rather adorable sight as I couldn't help but grin somewhat at them. Claire and Ava went downstairs as I followed the vulpine into the bedroom, soon watching him as he took his shirt off, exposing his somewhat scarred back as I ran my hand up to his right shoulder, pressing into his other shoulder with my cheek before letting out a low purr.

"I'm guessing you missed me?"

I pulled my head up to see him grinning at me from over his shoulder before I watched him pull his left hand over to envelope the one I had rested on his shoulder, gently squeezing it. "A lot," I replied somewhat sheepishly, feeling a smile tug at the corners of my lips before he spun around to face me, letting go of my hand before wrapping it around my waist, soon picking me up and carrying me to the bed, eventually laying me on it and crawling over me to his side. After a few seconds, I was locked in the shirtless vulpine's embrace with my back to him, not minding that I felt him occasionally nip at my ear playfully.

"So, how's the training been going," I asked him with intrigue as he let out a silent groan. "Well, exhausting for one. But I've been getting better, after a few more days he might let me carry it with me casually, though, I doubt I would unless I'm wearing my coat," He replied, nuzzling his snout into my neck before sighing. "Sounds fun," I told him, but I was considering bringing up my conversation with Claire, however, I ultimately decided against it. I'd rather let him rest than pester him about something like that.

Out of nowhere, I felt air brush past the fur on my neck, causing me to realize that the vulpine was letting out a low growl of approval as he basked in the scent.

"Lavender, eh?"

"I'm glad you're enjoying it," I replied, tilting my head back in an attempt to look up at him only for him to lean down and kiss me with a grin spread across his maw. "You know, we haven't been able to go and do anything for a while," He said, leaning over and planting a kiss on my lips again before pulling back, his grin growing wider. "Yeah, because you're out of the house all day," I retorted, bringing my hand up to rub the messy fur on his chin. "Well, when I'm finished at Andy's for the most part, and I plan on the two of us going out one night just to have some fun. We can even get a hotel room on the other side of town for a night so no one else'll mess with us," He added, soon grabbing my hand and giving it a squeeze before he let it drop to my chest.

"Could we afford that? And wouldn't that mean we'd both need to take a day off of work," I asked him, somewhat concerned. "Well, I kind of have a job around the area I was planning for us to go to, anyways," He somewhat mumbled, a grin growing on his face as I grew curious. "What's the job about," I asked. "Eh, Andy simply wants me to look around for a bit. See what's going on around the area," He replied nonchalantly while I shrugged it off. "Alright… Do you have something planned for tonight? I made dinner," I told him, squeezing his hand as I heard him let out a loud, satisfied, grunt.

"Thank goodness, I'm starving."
