Stoick grumbles "fine, but he better be back in his cell tonight!"
He turns to Valka and scowls at her for a second and walks back to the village.
Astrid grins "let's go, Dragon Prince. You have a story to tell me and my parents want to see you."
Snotlout gape in shock.
Gobber sighs "how is Astrid supposed to command Hiccup like that and he completely submitted to her?"
Valka chuckles "Gobber, Hiccup been submitted to Astrid since he was three years old and made her axe for her tenth birthday."
Fishlegs comments "I would like to learn how he bonded with a Night Fury."
Snotlout scowls and runs off to follow Astrid and the Dragon Prince.
Gobber sighs "so that's your son?"
Valka smiles "yep. I been in secret contact with him after he turned nine years old."
Tuffnut gape "wait that means that he's the future chief of Berk! We don't have to put up with Snotlout."
(With Hiccup and Astrid)
Astrid gave him a tour of Berk.
Hiccup consciously brush Astrid's hand with his.
Astrid glance down at their hands and smirks intertwining her fingers with his while pointing at various buildings and families that live there.
Hiccup smiles "thank you for protecting me from the Chief."
Astrid grins "I wasn't going to let him lock you back up because I like you and you saved me plus I own you this" and kisses his cheek.
Snotlout watch her kiss the Dragon Prince and scowls at them.
They finish walking through the village when Hiccup's stomach growls.
Astrid smiles "come on, my mom should have lunch ready by now."
They walk over to Astrid's parents house.
Ingrid turns around "hey daughter how was dragon train- oh what is the Prince doing out of his cell?"
Astrid grins "mom, this is Hiccup, the Dragon Prince and he escape the jail cell and saved me in dragon training, so I saved him from going back into jail cell."
Ingrid comments "I been wondering when you would return permanently."
Hiccup curious ask "you were?"
Ingrid smirks "why yes, ever since you gave Astrid that double bladed axe for her tenth birthday."
Hiccup nervous comments "yeah, I was trying to tell her that I like her a lot."
Astrid kisses his cheek "I like you too, my Dragon Prince."
Hiccup joins them for lunch.
Alistair walks in to see the Dragon Prince sitting down eating lunch and says "daughter? You have some explaining to do."
Astrid nods her head "yes dad."
While they ate fish for lunch, Alistair curious ask "are you going to help stop the raids?"
Hiccup sighs "I would need other riders to help defeat the queen dragon."
Astrid ask "queen dragon?"
Hiccup nods his head "the queen dragon's head is as big enough to swallow a Hideous Zippleback whole."
Alistair curious ask "I thought the dragons were just raiding us because they were mindless killers."
Ingrid widen her eyes "this must be what your birth runes stated."
Hiccup ask "what do you mean by my my birth runes?"
Ingrid smiles "your birth runes stated that you would be the bridge between vikings and dragons and would be the one who ends the dragon war."
Astrid curious ask "did I have birth runes?"
Ingrid smirks "daughter, you should get use to your marriage name Astrid Giggles Haddock in the future."
Astrid gape "you mean to tell me that he's my future husband?!"
Alistair points out "that depends on if you want to marry him willingly out of love instead of marriage contract with no love between."
After lunch, Astrid takes Hiccup out to talk about dragons.
Hiccup curious comments "I need to check in with my dragon parents or they will be visiting tribes looking for me."
Astrid curious ask "how would you contact them?"
Hiccup nervous answers "probably break law and fly north."
Astrid gape in shock.
They return to the dragon arena.
Astrid curious ask "could you get me a dragon to bond with?"
Hiccup looks her for a minute and walks around her looking from head to toe.
Astrid sternly says "don't do that because you look at me like a baby maker."
Hiccup apologies "sorry, not my intention to make you feel like that. I was observing your figure to try and match your characteristics to perfect dragon."
Astrid curious ask "and what dragon do you think would suit me best, my Dragon Prince?"
Hiccup smiles "a Deadly Nadder" and release both Toothless and the Deadly Nadder.
The Deadly Nadder examined Astrid and then started grooming Astrid's hair.
Astrid ask "Hiccup, what is this dragon doing?"
Hiccup grins "she is grooming pretty girl to make her look presentable for showing and wants to be your friend."
Astrid blushes when Hiccup called her pretty and not know what that means to her.
Afterwards, Hiccup tells her how to bond with her dragon.
Astrid holds out her hand, palm up and her head turned, eyes closed.
The nadder touch her snout to Astrid's palm.
Astrid turns her head to stare at the Deadly Nadder and smiles "I'm going to call you, Stormfly."
Hiccup smiles "when we get back from my nest home, I'll make you a saddle for Stormfly."
Astrid climbes onto Stormfly while Hiccup climbs onto Toothless and the two fly out of the arena and head north to the Dragon Sanctuary.
Snotlout scowls "who does that freak think he is to steal my girl?!"
He runs off to go tell Stoick that the Dragon Prince kidnapped Astrid Hofferson.
Hiccup and Astrid flew North.
Two hours later, they arrive at the Dragon Sanctuary.
Hiccup curious ask "you don't mind sharing a bed or prefer having the bed to yourself and I'll take the floor?"
Astrid ask "are we staying here the whole night?"
Hiccup nods his head "yep. You ready to meet my dragon family?"
Astrid grins "sure."
Hiccup leads Astrid through the tunnels until he finds Night Fury cave.
Hiccup groans "mom? Dad? Sister? I'm back!"Alura warblers back "welcome back, sons."Thunder sniff him and growls "you brought a dragon killer here?!"Hiccup panics "no, she is my crush."Alura widen her eyes "wait you brought your mate here?! Are you out of your mind?! Does her parents know about this?!"Hiccup nervous answers yes and no and no."Thunder growls "I want to see your mate."Hiccup waves his hand to invite Astrid in.
Astrid notice that two Night Furies are three inches taller than Toothless and another Night Fury same size as Toothless.
Alura warblers "you must be Astrid? Hiccup, she is beautiful and would make a great princess for you."Hiccup blushes at mate.
Astrid notice Hiccup blushing over the Night Fury telling him something and decides to humor the Night Fury parents by grabbing his collar and plant a kiss on his lips.
Hiccup breaks the kiss to ask "mind joining me for dinner under the sunset?"
Astrid smiles "sure, babe."
Hiccup teaches Astrid how to peel potatoes andboil them, boil corn on cob, and cook fish.
While they sit down and eat dinner by the cliff, Astrid curious ask "did you decide to sneak me away from the village to have a date with me under a romantic sunset?"
Hiccup ask "no, I wanted you to meet my dragon parents and while we're out here away from everyone else watching me, I decided to ask you out for a date."
Astrid smiles and kisses his cheek "very romantic and yes, I'll be your mate."
Night time, Astrid took off her shoulder pads and armor skirt.
Hiccup pulled the covers up to her neck and kiss her forehead "goodnight, Astrid."
He sleeps on his makeshift bed and sleep.
In the morning, Hiccup woke up early and to see Astrid still asleep and leaves the cave.
He walks to another clearing and checks on the dragons.
(In Hiccup's cave)
Astrid woke up yawning to see Hiccup gone and gets up and puts on her armor shoulder pads and skirt.
Toothless opens his eyes to see Astrid awake and leads her to a clearing where Hiccup is at.
Hiccup turns to see Astrid awake and says "good morning, Astrid, milady."
Astrid curious ask "what's for breakfast?"
Hiccup grins "I usually go to this village that is a half an hour West of here to have breakfast."
Astrid smiles "then let's go. The longer we stay gone, the more you will be in trouble and the more, my parents will think you kidnapped me to have your way with me."
Hiccup shakes his head at her comment.
They fly West and eat breakfast with a village.
Astrid curious ask "how do you know the villagers in this village?"
Hiccup answers "this is where I learn how to talk Norse."
He leads her to a giant building to eat with villagers.
Three hours later Hiccup and Astrid land their dragons outside the arena to see Gobber with the trainees.
Astrid gape "I forgot about dragon training!"
Hiccup stops her by grabbing her hand and says "be careful."
Astrid nods her head and runs inside the arena.
Gobber sees Astrid back and noticed the Deadly Nadder behind her and gasped "what is that Nadder doing out of the cage?!"
Astrid smiles "this is my bonded dragon. Hiccup helped me bond to her and her name is Stormfly."
Ruffnut gaped "he got you a dragon?!"
Gobber ask "where's Hiccup? Stoick has order for when he returns with you, he is to be arrested and charged taking away your purity!"
Astrid gape in shock "Chief has ordered what?!"
Gobber sighs "you been gone for almost a whole day."
Astrid grins "he invited me to come with him to meet his dragon parents to prevent them from going on a dragon rampage looking for him. Then we had a little date under the sunset."
Gobber sighs "well Stoick is waiting for you at the hall with your father. Your mother is at home thinking the worst."
Astrid nods her head and runs to the forge.
When she gets there, she sees him look at the back room and grabs his hand "you have to come with me and fast to protect you."
Hiccup nervous ask "what's wrong?"
Astrid panics "your father and mine believe you kidnapped me to have your way with me against my will."
They run to Hofferson's house and hurry inside and shuts the door.
Ingrid looks at who came in to see Astrid and Hiccup returned and sternly commands "young lady! You have some explaining to do on running away!"
Astrid sighs "I know mom, but whatever you heard about us isn't true."
Ingrid sternly ask "where did you two go?"
Hiccup sighs "I left to go see my dragon parents and informed them that I'm staying here on Berk so they don't go searching for me in other tribes.
Astrid joined me as my chaperone. I introduced her to the dragons at my nest and ask her out on a date under the sunset then we went to bed-"
Astrid comments "he let me sleep in his bed alone while he slept on a makeshift bed on the floor. Then in the morning, he took me to a village where he learned Norse and had breakfast. Then we flew back here."
Alistair sternly ask "is that all?"
Astrid turns around to see her father and Chief Stoick standing at the door and instinctively put Hiccup behind her to protect him and says "you aren't locking him back up in jail cell!"
Hiccup nervous comments "I can end the dragon raids, I know to train dragons. I just need to bust a hole in the nest to draw the big queen dragon out."
Stoick scowls "your no viking. Your not my son. Your a dragon rider who protects those beast. Where's the nest?!"
Hiccup bows his head in sadness and says "leave before I call Toothless" and sits in the living room on the couch.
Ingrid scowls "what hel, Stoick?! Valka will hear about this!"
Spitelout clears his throat "Dragon Prince is charge with kidnapping of Astrid Hofferson."
Astrid punch Spitelout in the stomach and shut the door on his face "go away, idiot! You aren't arresting my boyfriend!"
Stoick and Spitelout gape in shock at Astrid admitting that Hiccup is her boyfriend.
Stoick and Spitelout walk to hall to discuss the problem of Astrid protecting the Dragon Prince.
Alistair ask "daughter? Did something else happen at his nest between you two?"
Astrid blushes "I agree to be his lifelong mate."
Ingrid smiles looking at her daughter and says "darling, let's let her make her own choices."
Hiccup curious ask "why do some women wear their hair down while teens wear their hair in braids?"
Alistair sighs "Hiccup, your staying here on Berk until you kill the queen dragon and then your free."
