Hiccup curious ask "did that jerk of a Chief approve of me teaching the teens to train dragons?"

Gobber sighs "he made a bet with your mother. If you end the dragon raids, then he will accept you as his son and if you can't end the raids, then you get exile from Berk."

Hiccup looks down at the leather strap, wondering what to do now.

Astrid puts her hand on his shoulder and says "your mom must believe that you are the bridge between us and dragons and end the dragon raids. We just have to kill the Red Death."

Hiccup looks at her and grins "thank you for supporting me, Astrid."

Astrid grins "that's what mates do for each other, Dragon Prince."

Snotlout gape "mates? What do you mean by mates?!"

Hiccup smiles "she agree to be my life mate or what was that word-boy something?"

Astrid giggle "babe, before we call each other mates we have to get married first. So right now we're courting as boyfriend and girlfriend."

Hiccup smiles "ah, that's the word, boyfriend and girlfriend."

Snotlout stares at Hiccup with death glare.

Hiccup sighs "so if I have to teach the teens to train a dragons, Astrid, your going to be my second in command."

Astrid and Hiccup walk to the dragon arena to begin dragon training.

Snotlout smirks "how do you plan on teaching us how to train a dragon?"

Hiccup answers "you won't be training a dragon on the first day."

Ruffnut ask "how come Astrid already has a dragon before us?"

Hiccup answers "simple. I picked her match by personality and that was a Deadly Nadder which latched on to Astrid and she named her Stormfly and I instructed her on how to train her. Plus I we been friends since Astrid's tenth birthday."

Ruffnut gaped "no way, your the reason why Astrid was closed off to other boys because she was in love with you!"

Astrid gasped "Ruffnut!" Blushing over her secret being revealed.

Hiccup looks at Astrid with a grin and decides to get her flustered more and wraps his arms around her waist and plant his lips on hers before she could question his moves.

After a minute of kissing her breathless, he breaks the kiss and says "I was in love with you too."

Snotlout screams and charge at Hiccup knocking him over and begins punching him.

Hiccup grabs his fist and roll them over and stands up and kicks him in the groin and watch him hold his groin to sooth the pain.

Hiccup growls at him "I wrestling dragons and won before Astrid turned ten years old. You are an idiot for attacking me because Astrid likes me and if you can't accept that.

Then leave this arena and don't come back because I'm not going to deal with you wanting to start fights with me!"

Snotlout scowls "this isn't over!" And gets up and stands by the other three.

Hiccup runs his hand down his face "this is going to take a long day."

Fishlegs curious ask "what are we going to be doing for today?"

Hiccup answers "tell you what I know about training dragons. They like to be scatched, petted."

Tuffnut ask "is that how you bonded with your Night Fury?"

Astrid answers "no. He was adopted by Night Fury family."

Snotlout scoffs "what else?"

Hiccup sighs "feed Nadders chicken to boost their flight speed. Nadders are second fastest dragon behind Night Furies."

Fishlegs curious ask "when do we get train our own dragon?"

Hiccup answers "tomorrow after lunch. I have to go collect four terrible terrors for you four."

Astrid curious ask "is that it of class?"

Hiccup answers "yes, I want to finish your saddle for Stormfly."

They leave the arena and walk back to the forge to finish the saddle.

An hour later, they had the saddle made for Stormfly with thicker padding to provide comfort for riding.

They step outside the forge where Astrid calls for Stormfly.

Stormfly lower her neck so Astrid can put the saddle on her neck.

Astrid buckled the straps together and looks to Hiccup and ask "up for a flight?"

Hiccup smiles "sure" and screech.

Toothless roared in return and ran through the village to the forge to see Hiccup.

Hiccup climbed on Toothless and the two flew away.

Snotlout watch them fly away and decides to go talk to his father about buying Astrid as a bride.

(In the sky)

Astrid ask "where are we flying to?"

Hiccup answers "there's an island Southwest of here that is a half an hour away."

Half an hour later, they land on an island.

Hiccup looks at Toothless and then screech call to dragons.

soon they were surrounded by two Deadly Nadders, three Monstrous Nightmares, three Gronckles four Hideous Zipplebacks and seven Terrible Terrors.

Astrid curious ask "what are these dragons doing here?"

Hiccup smiles these are reinforcement dragons incase one of the tribes attacks another. These dragons come from dragon island that I saved from Red Death's control."

Astrid curious ask "why did we come here for?"

Hiccup grins "to grab four unnamed Terrible Terrors."

Astrid smirks "and here I thought you were taking me on another getaway date."

Hiccup shakes his head "sorry to disappoint you, milady. But last time, your parents weren't too thrilled with me bringing you to see my dragon parents."

Astrid sighs "they were just worry that you took me out to take my purity before you ask me to marry you. Don't worry about that right now. I'm not ready for marriage yet."

Hiccup nods his head in understanding and says "whenever your ready to get married, I'll wait."

Astrid grins "I appreciate that."

Hiccup collect four terrible terrors and they fly back to Berk.

(On Berk)

Spitelout knock on the Hofferson's door.

Ingrid opens the door to see Spitelout with a piece of paper in his hand and ask "what do you want, Spitelout?"

Spitelout answers "I came by to propose a marriage contract between my son, Snotlout and your daughter, Astrid and offer to pay double her bride price."

Ingrid nods her head in understanding and says "Alistair is with Stoick talking about Bog Burglars visiting tomorrow and are thinking of a way to introduce Hiccup back, but I'll be sure to tell him about your marriage proposal."

Spitelout leaves after handing the marriage contract over, but informs her "Hiccup and Astrid left together on their dragons again. You should set some ground rules on him sneaking your daughter off on trips alone when they're not in a relationship."

Ingrid sighs "I'll have a talk with them."

(Arena)

Hiccup and Astrid land outside the arena and put the terrors in the cages but leave the cage open with orders to stay in the arena with Toothless and Stormfly.

Astrid grins "we got four terrible terrors to have the teens learn to train."

Hiccup nervous comments "I'm nervous about giving Snotlout a dragon to train, even though the dragons won't attack me because I'm the prince of all dragons unless a bewildered beast claims the throne of alpha of all dragons and orders them to attack me."

Astrid gape in shock "then your best hope is to trust your instinct to solve your problems and stop the threat against yourself and those you love."

Hiccup smiles at her "thank you, Astrid. Up for a sunset dinner date?"

Astrid grins "have to ask my parents if their okay with us going on dates."

Hiccup smiles "let's go eat lunch."

Astrid's stomach gurglers causing her to blush.

Hiccup holds out his hand for her to intertwine their fingers together and walk out of the arena, through the village upto the hall and grab some lunch.

While they sat and ate lunch together, the villagers gossip about Dragon Prince, Hiccup and Astrid Hofferson holding hands as a couple.

After eating lunch, Hiccup curious ask "I wonder why my dad won't accept me?"

Astrid sighs "I guess he doesn't want accept that your the answer to ending the dragon raids."

Valka sits down beside her son and says "I missed you all these fifteen years, Hiccup. I thought I would never see you again."

Hiccup looks at the woman and says "mom?"

Valka nodded her head at him.

Hiccup hugs her.

Valka sighs "my baby Hiccup, you should be careful when you invite Astrid to go with you when you leave to go do dragon stuff."

Astrid smiles "actually, you don't have to worry about him seducing me."

Valka sighs "I know because I gave him the talk about his growing feelings towards before your tenth birthday."

Astrid nervous ask "did you tell him about making love or physical contact?"

Valka grins "physical contact. I preferred to leave kissing and love making talk to his girlfriend when your ready for that kind of activity."

Astrid sighs "at least I won't be dealing with extreme touchy."

Valka sighs "I just hope that the dragon parents didn't tell him how to make love to his mate."

Hiccup comments "they told me that it comes when the female consents to mating but didn't tell me how it starts because I was too young and had to wait until my chosen mate is ready and consent to it."

Astrid grins "your going to be waiting a long time."

Hiccup nods his head "I don't want to lose you over forcing you to do something you don't want to do."

Astrid smiles "you know, no boy has said that to me?"

After lunch, Hiccup and Astrid walk to the arena to see the dragons when Snotlout approached them with Fishlegs, and the twins.

Fishlegs nervous comments "Snotlout, I wouldn't get Hiccup angry because only Astrid can calm him down."

Snotlout scolds "shut up! Fishface!"

He turns to Astrid and says "babe, I told my father to offer your father double your bride price to marry me."

Astrid laughs and points out "I told you that my father isn't allowed to accept contracts for my hand in marriage. Besides I already picked my fiance."

Snotlout grins "yes! I promise to take care of you and we're make lots of babies."

Hiccup looks at Astrid and says "I wonder if he was dropped by accident and hit his head too many times."

Astrid sighs and says "Snotlout, I'm leaning toward marrying Hiccup, the Dragon Prince."

Snotlout steps forward and scowls "I'll make sure you marry me, babe even while your crying at the altar and on our wedding night when we make love."

Hiccup pulled Astrid behind him and growled at Snotlout "touch her and I'll send you to the healer!"

Snotlout punch Hiccup in his stomach.

Hiccup coughs to catch his breath.

Snotlout laughs at Hiccup on the ground.

Hiccup runs tackling Snotlout to the ground and begins punching his face in and grab his arm and roll him on his back in an arm bar forcing him to scream.

Astrid sighs "Hiccup, babe? Can you please release him?"

Hiccup looks at Astrid and let go of Snotlout's arm and stands by Astrid.

Astrid drags him to her house.

Fishlegs comments "I told you, not to get him mad."

Snotlout scowls "shut up, fishface!"

(Hofferson house)

Astrid sees her father in the living room and says "lift your shirt show I can take a look at your stomach."

Alistair and Ingrid look at Hiccup lift his shirt to show a red mark on his stomach.

Ingrid ask "oh my, what happen?!"

Astrid curious ask "dad? Did Spitelout come here and offer to pay double my bride price?"

Ingrid answers "yes, why?"

Astrid ask "can I have to ripe it in front of Snotlout's face?"

Alistair ask "daughter? What happened?"

Astrid answers "I told Snotlout I was leaning to marry Hiccup and he threatened me by saying he was going to make sure I marry him while I'm crying at the altar and on our wedding night when I refuse to make love to him."

Ingrid gape "he was going to force you to make love to him even if you don't feel like it?"

Astrid nods her head "yes."

Alistair curious ask "what happened to Hiccup?"

Hiccup answers "I pulled Astrid behind me and growled at that if he touch her, I was going to send him to the healers and he punched me in the stomach.

I attacked him until Astrid ask me to release him."

Ingrid whispers something in her daughter ear.

Astrid shakes her head in response.

Ingrid points to Hiccup.

Astrid blushes at what her mom ask her to show appreciation in some form and turns to Hiccup and says "close your eyes, Hiccup."

Hiccup curious ask "are you going to hurt me for hurting Snotlout?"

Astrid grins "no. Now please close your eyes and keep them closed."

Hiccup closes his eyes and waits.

Astrid softly grabs his hands and wraps them around her waist and wraps her arms around his neck and kisses his lips with her eyes closed.

A min later, she breaks the kiss and rest her head on his shoulder "your stuck with me, Dragon Prince."

Hiccup nuzzle her cheek causing Astrid to giggle at his affection.

Alistair clears his throat to interrupt their moment.

Hiccup backs up a step to look at Astrid's father and ask "too much affection towards your daughter?"

Ingrid laughs "not at all dear, I'm sure Astrid will let you know when it's too much."

Alistair looks outside and says "lets have dinner in the hall."

Hiccup sighs "Snotlout is going to be so mad in the morning."
