Note: This will be the only chapter that I can get up before Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone.

Chapter 2

The death of Inuyasha.

Any wounds that Inuyasha had have almost healed. As they took care of Inuyasha. Kagome felt Inuyasha's bones. When she got to his right arm she can fell that it's when she got to his legs both are broken as well. Soon she and Kaede finished taking care of Inuyasha. Kagome noticed that Sesshomaru is still looked at him and sighed.

"His wounds are almost healed but. His right arm and both of his legs are broken. And his breathing is shallow and ragged. He is also in a lot of pain." informed Kagome

Sesshomaru nodded and asked "Shall I go get the children?" Kagome also nodded and replied "Please do they need to know. That their father isn't doing well." Sesshomaru left Kaede's house and went to go find Moroha and Kenta. Back in Kaede's house Kagome got Tessaiga and leaned it against the she watched as Kaede gave Inuyasha a remedy for pain. Soon Sesshomaru returned to Kaede's house. With him is Moroha and Kenta. The two young demons ran over to their mother. They gave her a hug. Then they noticed their father laying on a bed.

"What's wrong with Father Mother?"asked Moroha

"He was dropped into a gorge by a demon. While he was in his human form. He has broken bones and is in a lot pain." explained Kagome

"Will Papa be ok Mama?" asked Kenta

"I don't know sweety." replied Kagome

Three days later after eating Kagome checked on Inuyasha. He isn't doing any better and is still in a lot of pain. Just as Kagome was going to send Moroha and Kenta out to play. She heard Inuyasha moan so she turned around. Kagome watched as Inuyasha opened his eyes. She rushed over to his bed and asked "Inuyasha how are doing?" Inuyasha looked at Kagome and smiled a little. Moroha and Kenta joined their mother. The hanyou is happy to see his family.

"To be.. honest Kagome. I'm not.. doing to good." replied Inuyasha

"What's wrong Inuyasha?" asked Kagome

Inuyasha groaned and replied "I'm having trouble... breathing. And I'm in.. a lot.. of pain." Kagome nodded and said "I'll make you a remedy for pain." The woman made the remedy for Inuyasha's pain and helped him drink it. Inuyasha looked at his family and he knows. That it's taking all of his. Just to breath and fight through the pain. He doesn't want to leave his family. But he can't live like this. He looked at his family again. The hanyou groaned and said "Kagome.. I don't know.. how much time I.. have left.. But I love you, Moroha, and Kenta... very much." Kagome started to cry and said "No Inuyasha don't leave me."

"I'm having trouble... breathing I'm in... a lot.. of pain. And I'm using lot of... strength to fight through it. Please pass down... Tessaiga to either to... Moroha or Kenta.. It will choose it's next... master." stated Inuyasha

Kagome nodded and asked "Do you want to talk to Sesshomaru?" Inuyasha nodded also and said "Yes please." The woman left Kaede's house and hoped that. She would find Sesshomaru at Rin's house. While Kagome was gone. Inuyasha talked to Moroha and Kenta. Soon Kagome returned with Sesshomaru. She then took Moroha and Kenta outside. Sesshomaru sat next to Inuyasha's bed. He looked at Inuyasha and can tell that he was struggling.

"What do you need Inuyasha?" asked Sesshomaru

"I know that.. you have your own family... But could you check in on.. Kagome, Moroha, and Kenta?" And who ever Tessaiga... chooses as it's master... I know between you, Totsai, and Myoga.. That they will learn... how to wield Tessaiga." replied Inuyasha

Sesshomaru nodded and said "Don't worry I will check in on your family. And I will help who ever Tessaiga chooses." After talking to Inuyasha the demon lord left Kaede's house. He saw Kagome and walked up to her. The demon lord put a hand on her shoulder. He sighed and said "I'm sorry to say this but. Inuyasha is struggling and I think he will die soon." Kagome went to her knees and started crying. Two days have passed and it's morning. Kagome woke and sat up. She saw that Inuyasha isn't breathing. The woman went over to her husband. She checked for a pulse and couldn't find one. She started crying which woke Kaede, Moroha, and Kenta.

Later that day they buried Inuyasha next to the sacred tree. Miroku stood next to Inuyasha's grave. He tapped his staff on the ground and said "Today we moan the loss of Inuyasha. A great friend, a good husband and father. If anyone has anything to say please do." Sango walked up to Inuyasha's grave. She sighed and said "Good bye Inuyasha your friendship meant. A lot to Miroku and I." She walked over to the group and Sesshomaru walked up to the grave.

"Goodbye Inuyasha I'm glad that we put our. Differences a side and became friends. Don't worry about your family. I promise to check in on them." stated Sesshomaru

The demon lord walked back over to the group. Then Kagome, Moroha, and Kenta walked up to the grave.

"Goodbye Inuyasha I love you so much. And I will always love you." stated Kagome

"Bye Daddy I love you and I will miss you." stated Moroha

"Bye Papa love you miss you." said Kenta

Kagome, Moroha, and Kenta walked back to the group. No one else stepped forward so they paid their respects. As the years went by Tessaiga chose Kenta as it's next master. And thanks to Sesshomaru, Totsai, and Myoga. The half demon learned how to wield Tessaiga. Kenta is as tall as his father was at 5'6". Moroha comes in at 5'3" so both of Kagome's children are taller than she is. But she doesn't mind at all. She loves her kids with all of her heart. And true to his word. Sesshomaru checked in on Kagome, Moroha, and Kenta. When he visited his family.
