Hiccup left to go to bed and rest for the night before his match with his fiance in the morning.

Stoick and Valka knock on their son's door.

Hiccup answers "come in."

Stoick and Valka walk in their son's room.

Valka curious ask "I thought you wanted to marry Astrid?"

Hiccup grins "I do want to marry her."

Stoick grumbles "then why did you put your engagement to her on the line?!"

Hiccup answers "I did it because she wanted to challenge me, but didn't want to lose her respect in the village as best shield Maiden incase she lost to me."

Valka blinks her eyes "you have plan?"

Hiccup smiles "yep, but dad has to call it a tie."

Stoick widen his eyes in surprise "you know she won't give up when she realizes that her image in village is on the line?"

Hiccup nods his head "I'm very well aware of that, which is why I need you to call it a tie when we don't yield. Probably after an hour and a half."

Valka curious ask "how do you know rules of Maiden Dance?"

Hiccup nervous answers "sometimes female dragons challenge their mates when their image is threatened."

Stoick curious ask "and the end result is?"

Hiccup answers "they usually wore themselves out on trying to make the other submit and the female dragon wins respect for not backing down."

Stoick hugs his son and says "I love you, son."

Valka hugs her son and kiss his forehead and says "I love you too and goodnight."

They leave their son's room and go to bed.

Hiccup change his clothes and put on his pajamas.

Astrid was walking home with Rivera on her.

She hears noise in the alley street and peaks in to see Hagen, Garth, Ivar and Leif standing around and ask "what are you guys upto?"

Hagen and his friends turn to the voice to see Astrid Hofferson and grin seductively at her.

Garth answers "just chilling."

Hagen smirks "does Hiccup know your out here and alone?"

Astrid scowls "I can take care of myself!"

Ivar smirks seductively "sure you can, but now no one will know what happened to you after tonight."

Leif grins "Hiccup won't even look at you again after we get done with you."

Hagen commands "grab her!"

Astrid panics and runs through the village upto the hill with Hagen and his friends chasing her.

Rivera shot fireballs at Hagen, Garth, Ivar and Leif to let Astrid run up the steps to Haddock house and climb upto Hiccup's window and inside.

She peaks out the window to see Hagen and his friends leave scowling at her.

Rivera flew inside the room and chirped worried about Astrid.

Hiccup stirred to sound and turn over to see a terror nuzzling a person and grabs Inferno beside his bed and activates it to light up the room and gasped "Astrid?! Rivera?! What are you doing here?"

Astrid turns to Hiccup looking terrified.

Hiccup lites a candle and gets up and walks over to his dresser and pulled out a pair of spare pajamas and hand them to her to put on.

Astrid changed out of her clothes and into pajamas and slide into bed beside Hiccup.

Hiccup sighs "you don't have to tell me what happened tonight."

Astrid wraps his arms around her stomach to hold her close.

In the morning, Valka walked upstairs to her son's room to see her son sleeping next to his fiance, Astrid and decides to wake them up "good morning, son and daughter in law!"

Hiccup groans "mom. What time is it?"

Astrid holds Hiccup's arm around her tighter like protection blanket.

Valka noticed it and ask "Astrid? What's wrong?"

Astrid sighs trying to sleep more.

Hiccup sighs "she climbed up through my window looking like she was running from someone."

Astrid murmurs "try four boys wanting to have their way with me."

Hiccup gape "what?!"

Valka sighs "who were they?"

Astrid whines "Hagen and his friends."

Valka looks at Hiccup asking a question without talking.

Hiccup nods his head to answer.

Valka ask "was there any love making between you two during the night?"

Astrid answers "no. I just wanted to be held after what almost happened to me."

Stoick walks in to see Astrid laying in bed and sighs "I don't even want to know what happened between you two during the night. Astrid, your parents are probably wondering where you are."

Valka leads Stoick out of their son's room.

Hiccup and Astrid change out of their pajamas and into clothes and head downstairs to eat breakfast.

While eating breakfast, Valka ask "Astrid, why didn't you run home to your house?"

Astrid answers "my parents were in the hall talking with a few of the villagers and I decided to walk home with Rivera since Hiccup put the teen girls on protection protocol until Hagen and his friends leave."

Stoick and Valka ask "Hiccup, what does Astrid mean by you putting the teen girls under protection protocol?"

Hiccup sighs "a couple of days ago, Astrid told me rumors about Hagen and his three friends causing trouble and a rumor about him assaulting a girl and I summoned the Terrible Terrors to watch over the teen girls."

Astrid smiles a little bit "you did that because you wanted to protect all the teen girls and not just me?"

Hiccup closes his eyes and answers "yes and I'm going to give him and his friends a message."

Stoick ask "am I missing something?"

Hiccup answers "I'll handle it dad."

After eating breakfast, Hiccup walked with Astrid back to her house.

As they walked through the village, Astrid nervous ask "what are you going to do with Hagen and his friends?"

Hiccup answers "I plan on talking to him."

A laughing sound interrupts their conversation.

Hagen ask "you want to talk to me about what?"

Hiccup scowls "I know what you tried to do to my fiance!"

Garth smirks "don't you mean your ex-fiance because you challenged her to a Maiden Dance to end your engagement with her?"

Astrid moves behind Hiccup to hide.

Hiccup sighs "the reason why I challenge her to a Maiden Dance is because she wanted to challenge me to a fight, but couldn't because we're engaged.

The next time you attack any teen girl on Berk, you'll be facing me."

Hagen and his friends laugh "you think you can beat the four of us by yourself?!"

Astrid comments with aggression "he can beat you all! He beat fifteen men in single combat!"

Ivar scowls "you better keep your mouth shut or we'll give you something to keep you quiet!"

Hiccup sternly warns "Ivar, you better take your friends and walk away before you regret something."

He wraps his arm around Astrid and turn to see Snotlout standing there and ask "Snotlout? What are you doing?"

Snotlout chuckles "funny thing is Hagen has a crush on Astrid like me and he convinced me that if I help him, he would let me have a tur-"

Boom!

Snotlout laying on the ground unconscious.

Hiccup turns around to see Hagen and his friends mouths open in shock."

Hagen comments "you just knocked him out with a single punch to the forehead."

Astrid grins seductively at Hiccup.

Hiccup grumbles "I would prefer to stay here and kick your asses, but I have to get this one home to her parents and then, me and her enter a duel."

Hiccup leads Astrid who stares straight in a love daze.

They walk in the Hofferson's house to see Alistair and Ingrid drinking tea.

Ingrid notice her daughter's face and ask "what happened to my daughter?"

Hiccup looks at Astrid's daze face and waves his hand in front of her with no response.

Astrid murmurs "Hiccup knocked out Snotlout with one punch to his forehead."

Alistair laughs to get Ingrid and Hiccup's attention.

Ingrid ask "What is it?"

Alistair calms down and answers "Astrid is lovestruck by Hiccup knocking out Snotlout with one punch."

Hiccup grins "oh, I know how to solve that" and kisses Astrid's lips for a minute or two until Astrid blinks her eyes and breaks the kiss.

Astrid ask "what just happen?"

Ingrid giggles "you fell under a trance by Hiccup knocking out Snotlout."

Hiccup looks at Rivera and says "tell Hookfang that I ordered him to set Snotlout's ass on fire for his deal with Hagen and his friends."

Rivera flew out to find Hookfang and tell him the order.

Alistair ask "what happened last night for you to not be in your bed?"

Astrid answers "Hagen and his three friends were in an alley waiting for me to pass by so they could rape me and I took off running to Hiccup's house for shelter with Rivera blasting them."

Alistair and Ingrid gasped in shock.

Hiccup reassure them "don't worried, she made it up to my window and I just held her."

Ingrid curious ask "what did Snotlout do to deserve being knocked out unconscious?"

Astrid answers "he made a deal with Hagen to have a turn with me after he helps him rape me."

Alistair gape in shock "I thought he was passed that after hearing you were dragon master and skilled fighter?!"

Hiccup comments "apparently not. I'm sure uncle Spitelout will give me crap for knocking out his son."

Astrid curious ask "how do you plan on keeping our engagement going if you beat me?"

Hiccup grins "do you trust me?"

Astrid grins "yes, with my life. Why?"

Hiccup smirks "then don't yield. You only have to last an hour and a half to qualify as a draw."

Ingrid widen her eyes "you seen it with dragons before?"

Hiccup nods his head "yep, between mates only because the female's image becomes question by her relationship with her mate."

Astrid sighs "I'm sorry, Hiccup. I didn't think you would know about Maiden Dance."

Hiccup sighs "if the female loses to the male, it would state that the female isn't a good fighter to keep her mate from competition.

If the male loses, the female can choose to pick a new male to test her which is they have to tie in order to state their perfect for each other."

Alistair comments "I guess dragon's lifestyle isn't different from a human's lifestyle."

Hiccup nervous says "after what Snotlout did with Hagen, I feel that Astrid shouldn't be alone without adult supervision or have Stormfly guard her at all times until Hagen and his friends leave."

Astrid grumbles "those jerks should think twice about taking me by force."

Hiccup leads Astrid to the arena with the villagers following them.

Gobber ask "Hiccup, are you sure you want to do this with Astrid?"

Astrid grins "yes we want to do this dance."

Gobber sighs and walks over by the gate.

Stoick yells "BEGIN!"

Astrid charge swinging her axe for a strike and Hiccup counter with a block.

Hiccup and Astrid traded strikes and blocks.

Astrid ask "are we going to turn it up a notch?"

Hiccup grins "I was waiting for your go."

Astrid smirks "oh, you think I can't handle the dragon master?"

Hiccup smirks back "I don't know if you can handle my fighting style."

Astrid strike with her axe for Hiccup to block and kick him in the side.

Hiccup backup to avoid the kick.

Astrid match blade strike after blade strike.

Hiccup grins "not bad."

Astrid grins "how about this?" And block his strike, grabs his hand and flip him over her shoulder.

An hour and a half go by without Hiccup or Astrid losing ground.

Hiccup ask "you yield yet?"

Astrid shakes her head "no. You yield?"

Hiccup shakes his head "no."

Valka hiss silently "Stoick! call the match a tie!"

Stoick watches as Hiccup and Astrid continue dueling for twenty minutes before he yells "ME AND ALISTAIR AGREE TO CALL THIS MATCH A DRAW!"

Hiccup and Astrid stop to catch their breath while the crowd cheered them.

Fishlegs, Ruffnut, Tuffnut ran down to the arena to congratulate them both.

Snotlout walk down behind them.

Fishlegs comments "nice battle, Hiccup and Astrid."

Ruffnut smirks "your going to be more desirable from every teen boy on Berk."

Snotlout ask "Astrid? Ready to go on a date with me under the stars?"

Astrid turns to Hiccup and grabs his armor suit and kisses his lips in front of the villagers.

She breaks the kiss and breathless says "I can't wait until tonight to show you just how much I love you."

Hiccup looks passed Snotlout to see Hookfang and watch as Hookfang shot a fireball at Snotlout's butt sending him running out of the arena to jump off the bridge into the water below.

Tuffnut ask "why did Hookfang just shoot a

fireball at Snotlout for?"

Hiccup grins "because I gave him order to do it as a message."

The teens walk to hall to eat lunch with the villagers.

Hookfang rescue Snotlout from below.

Hagen and his friends gape in surprise that Astrid can fight.

Everyone sat down in the hall to eat lunch.

Astrid decided wrap Hiccup's arm around her waist and eats her chicken.

Hiccup glance at her wanting his arm around her waist and goes back to eating his fish.

Tarben smiles "you both fought good in the Maiden Dance a few minutes ago."

Astrid grins "why thank you, Chief Tarben. I learned from my father and he taught my fiance as well."

Hagen sits down in front of Hiccup and Astrid with their friends and says "your a fake, Hiccup! You could have beat Astrid with a knockout punch and won the match, but instead you end it with a draw! Your pathetic and a loser! Astrid sho-"

"HAGEN!"

Hagen flinches at the tone of his father.

Tarben scowls "apologize right now!"

Hiccup comments "last night, him and his friends, Garth, Ivar and Leif chased my fiance to my house trying take advantage of her."

Tarben grins "is that why the Chieftess ask me to not interfere if you call your Night Furies to punish my son?"

Hiccup nods his head "uh yep."

Tarben turns to his son and says "well, son, you owe the Haddocks an apology and I'll pay Mrs. Hofferson twenty gold coins out of your inheritance account."

Hagen scowls at Hiccup and Astrid.

Tarben escort his son and his friends to another table to eat lunch.
