Chapter 4

Learning more about Bucky's sword.

It was afternoon when Bucky walked up to a two story house. Bucky walked up the steps and walked up to the door. He opened the screen door and started knocking on another door. The man can hear foot steps coming to the door. Just then the door opened and Bucky. Saw a tall man with blonde hair and bright blue eyes. He is staring at Bucky and his eyes are wide. Bucky smirked and said "Hi Steve." Steve wrapped his arms Bucky and hugged him. Bucky hugged his friend back. Steve pulled away and said "It's good to see you Buck. Come on in." The men went inside and a red headed woman walked up to them. She looked and saw Bucky and said "Well hello there Barnes."

"Hello Natalia." greeted Bucky

"Where have you been Bucky?" asked Steve

"I was on my own for a year. Then I wound up in Wakanda. After I saved Shuri. I was there for two years. Then I did some traveling. Now I'm here because I'm ready to face you." replied Bucky

"Well I'm glad to see you. Come I have a room that you can stay in." assured Steve

Steve lead Bucky upstairs and into a bedroom. While Bucky unpacked the two men talked. Soon Bucky took Tessaiga out of his bag. Steve saw the sword and asked "Where did you get this?"

"While I was in Tokyo Japan. I saved an old man from being beaten up. He gave it to me as part of rewarding me." replied Bucky.

Bucky took the sword out of it's sheath. The two men looked at the sword. And can see that it's an old katana. It has a lot of ding, dents, it's dull, and looks old. Bucky feels kinda bad for the old sword. He put the sword back in it's sheath.

"Did that man say if it has a name?" asked Steve

"Yeah he called it Tessaiga." replied Bucky

Steve shook his head having no idea about the sword. Then he had an idea so he yelled "Hey Nat come here please!" Natasha came into the room and asked "What's up?"

"Would you know anything about a sword named Tessaiga?" asked Steve

Natasha took the sword from Bucky. She took it out of the sheath. The red head looked at the sword. Then she put it back in it's sheath and gave it to Bucky.

"I have no knowledge about this sword. But I thin I know who might." replied Natasha

"Yeah who?" asked Steve

"I'm going to get a hold of Little Uncle." replied Natasha

"I didn't know that you had family Nat." stated Steve

"No I don't have any family. That's just what I call him." chuckled Natasha

The red headed woman left the room. After unpacking Steve left Bucky to settle in. He got the sword and took it out of it's sheath. Then he got what he needed to take care of it. As he took care of the sword he wished that. He could do something about the ding and dents. Soon he's done taking care of the sword. He wondered if Steve had any polish. So he yelled " Hey Stevie do you have any polish!?" A few minutes later Stave came into Bucky's room. He has a thing od polish and rags. Bucky put some polish on the rag. Then he wiped it onto the sword. After he was done the sword looks a bit better. It's still in rough shape but it looks better.

Three days later there was a knocking at Steve and Natasha's door. Natasha opened the door and saw a small burly man. She smiled and said "It's good to see you Logan come on in." Natasha and Logan went into the living room. In the living room is Steve and Bucky.

"Steve, Bucky meet Logan also known as the Wolverine. If anyone that might know about the sword Bucky has it's him." assured Natasha

"Well actually I only know what I heard during world war two. So I talked to a friend of mine who live in Japan. Her family dates back a long way back. Luckily she knew something about it." informed Logan

"What did she say?" asked Bucky

"Well she said that the Tessaiga is a demon sword. It was forged from a fang of a power dog demon. But he had it forged to protect his human wife. He even used it to rescue her. And their new born child. Unfortunately he died and the sword was hidden in his remains. His half demon son named Inuyasha got and mastered the sword. The sword was passed down through out the generations. Eventually the generations became fully human. And the sword stopped transforming. That is until world war two." informed Logan

Natasha, Steve, and Bucky looked at the sword which is on the coffee table. Then they looked back at Logan. The old mutant took that as his Que to continue.

"Tessaiga and it's legendary power. Wasn't heard of again until world war two. A man named Ryu and his platoon were pinned down by the enemy. The only thing that they could do is fight their way out. Ryu was out of bullets. So he strapped his gun to his back. Then he unsheathed a sword that looked like. That it had seen better days. Ryu pleaded to the sword to leaned him it's strength. Then all of a sudden the sword glowed. It grew in shape and in size. After the glow disappeared. The sword looked like a huge fang. With fur around the guard. Then it was said the wind picked up. And it seemed to twist around the blade. Ryu told his platoon to get behind him. He used an attack called the Wind Scar. The attack killed all of the enemy. And it scared the ground. The sword must of been passed down. Through out the generations until it was given to Barnes."explained Logan

Bucky picked up the sword and asked "Do you think I might be able tap into it's power?"

"Only time will tell from what my friend. Told me the sword can be choosy. About who it's master is." replied Logan

"Thank you for all of you help Little Uncle." stated Natasha

"You're welcome sweety it's good to see you." assured Logan

Logan stayed and visited for a few hours. Then he left and headed back home.
