Chapter 6

HYDRA comes out and is taken down.

Once back at the compound. Steve and Bucky told everyone what had hugged Bucky and said "I am so proud of you. You protected the people that you were with. And you unlocked Tessaiga's power."

"Feh you really expect us to believe. That Barnes unlocked some supernatural power. From a rust piece of shit." snapped Barton

Steve put his shield on the coffee table. Inside the inside curve of the shield. Are pieces of what looks like crystals or diamonds. Tony picked one the pieces and asked "What is this?"

"It is one of the may pieces of. Whatever it s that came from Tessaiga. I picked some up so that way we had proof."replied Steve

Tony held up the piece that he's holding and said "FRIDAY scan this please." The AI scanned the piece of crystal. Barton picked up one of the pieces and said "This had to be fake."

"There is no way I can fake this. I picked these up off the ground. I even took a piece out of a car. Look there is eve some oil on it." stated Steve

Just then FRIDAY said " According to my scans. I would have to compare this to a diamond. And I bet if the master carbon dated the pieces. It would probably end up being as old as. Sargent Barnes's sword." Bucky glared at Barton and said "See we aren't lying." The archer just put down the piece he had. He shook his head and left the room.

"With Barnes unlocking his sword's power. We will have an advantage against HYDRA." stated Natasha

"Don't worry Bucky will let us know. When HYDRA is getting to quite." assured Steve

"And luckily SHIELD has allies like the CIA. To help take down HYDRA." Scott pointed out

One year passed and Bucky has been. Doing very well with the Avengers. And for the past month Bucky has been noticing that HYDRA. Is getting to quite for his liking. So he's looking for Steve to let him know. Soon he found Steve in the training room. Bucky noticed that the super solider's face is beat red. He looked up and saw that Natasha is sitting on Steve's shoulders. The red head's legs are around Steve's neck.

"Natalia are you trying to chock Steve with your thighs again?" asked Bucky

"Yeah but always it doesn't work. And all that happens is him turning red. I like it up here so that's why I'm still up here." replied Natasha

"What do you need Buck?" asked Steve

"HYDRA is getting to quite for my liking." replied Bucky

"Alright then we will start training double time. Thanks for the heads up." stated Steve

Bucky nodded and said "No problem Steve." The solider went to the punching bag. After punching the bag for hour. Bucky spared with Steve after sparing with Steve he hit the showers. He plans on working with Tessaiga tomorrow. Two months have passed and HYDRA is out in full force. The CIA and SHIELD have teamed up to take HYDRA down. Thanks to Bucky they know where all of the HYDRA bases are. The Avengers have split up into two teams. There is the main team of Steve, Natasha, Tony, Thor, Clint, and Bruce. And the second team is Rhodey, Sam, Scott, Wanda, Bucky, and Vision. So far so good as far as taking down HYDRA. The agents of SHIELD and CIA are working well together.

Six months have passed and both teams of Avengers. Have reunited and are getting ready. To take down the last HYDRA base. Bucky has used Tessaiga's power on and off through all of this. He hoped to use Tessaiga's power one more time. Right now the Avengers are getting ready. They are arming themselves with everything they need. Soon Steve gave the order to move out. They got into a quin jet. Natasha got into the pilot's chair. She flipped some switches and the engines roared to life. The quin jet took off into the sky. A few hours later the quin jet landed and everyone got out. Natasha landed a few mile away from the HYDRA base. That way they have the element of surprise. Steve gathered everyone together.

"Ok when we get there. Tony, Thor, Rhodey, and Sam I would like you on air support. Just in case HYDRA calls in a air strike. And the rest of us will surround the base and storm the place." informed Steve

With that said they walked toward the HYDRA base. Soon they arrived at the base and Tony, Thor, Sam, and Rhodey took to the sky. Everyone else stormed into the base. HYDRA agents scrambled to defend their base. Everything was going well until. Everyone heard Steve yell over the coms "Someone please come help me! Nat, Wanda, and I are surrounded and out gunned! And I got separated from my shield! And Wanda is hurt!" Mad Bucky said "I'm on my way." Bucky has grown very close to Wanda. And he doesn't want anything to happen to Steve and Natasha. Bucky headed toward to where Steve, Natasha, and Wanda are. On his way he killed every HYDRA agent that got in his way.

Soon he arrived where Steve, Natasha, and Wanda are. He found the shield and threw it to Steve. The HYDRA agents turned and saw Bucky. One agent put his hand to his ear and said "We have eyes on the asset boss. We also have Captain America, Black Widow, and Scarlet Witch surrounded." Just then a man walked over to the group of agents. He smirked when he saw Bucky. Then he said "Dear asset make it easier on yourself. And surrender and I will let your friends Live. If you don't we will kill them." Bucky unsheathed Tessaiga and glared at the agents and boss. He's mad wants to kill every HYDRA agent that's in sight.

The sword glowed and grew in size and changed shape. Now the sword looks like a fang. Then Bucky heard a voice say "Let's kill these bastards with the Wind Scar."

"Steve protect yourself and the girls with the shield." suggested Bucky

Steve nodded and put the shield in front of him. He also made sure that Natasha and Wanda are behind him. Suddenly the wind inside the building picked up. The wind twisted around the blade. Sensing that something was about to happen. Steve readied himself and stood his ground. Bucky swung Tessaiga and yelled "Wind Scar!" Streaks of yellow energy came from the sword. The streaks of energy races across the floor. Steve felt something hit the shield. But he kept the shield steady and was pushed back a bit. Soon the dust cleared and Steve put the shield down. He looked and saw that all of the HYDRA agents plus the boss are dead. Bucky sheathed Tessaiga and rushed up to Steve.

He noticed that Steve is ok. So he went behind Steve. Bucky knelt down and asked "Are you ok Wanda?"

"Yeah I'm ok I think I pulled a muscle in my leg." replied Wanda

Together Bucky, Wanda, Natasha, and Steve left the area. Soon the whole team is outside the base. They are a safe distance away. So Steve said "Ok Tony and Rhodey blow that base up." Tony and Rhodey flew over to the base. They used rockets and launched explosives at the base. The rockets hit the base and exploded. Everyone watched as the base collapsed.

"Ok everyone let's head back to our hideout." suggested Steve

The group nodded and started walking back to the quin jet. Bucky noticed right away that Wanda is limping. He took Tessaiga off his back. Then he went over to Wanda and knelt down.

"Here get on my back. So you don't have to limp all the way back to the jet." coaxed Bucky

Wanda got on Bucky's back and Bucky gave. Steve his gun and Tessaiga to carry. Once back at the qun jet they all got in. A few hours later they are back at their hideout. Natasha and Sam took care of anyone that is wounded. Bucky got an ice pack and gave it to Wanda. She put the ice pack on her leg and said "Thank you." Bucky nodded and sat next to her. Three days later Violet arrived at the hideout. Rhodey let her in and she walked up to the group.

"I have good news everyone. Thanks to the agents of SHIELD and CIA. And the Avengers HYDRA has been eliminated." announced Violet

"I've been waiting since World War Two. To hear those words." boasted Steve

"It's safe to return home. Oh and by the way Natasha you Clint, and Steve. Have the most accumulated vacation time. So go travel do things that you've always wanted to do." informed Violet

"Excuse me Violet but what about Bucky?" asked Wanda

"Well I've been talking to the other forms of government and the President. Considering Bucky has been incident free since the DC incident. And considering he saved the lives of Steve, Natasha, and Wanda. We were all in agreement that he's not a threat to anyone. So we decided to pardon him." explained Violet

With that said everyone left the hideout. They got on quin jets and either went home or to the compound. Steve and Natasha plan on traveling across the United States. Visiting places that Steve wants to visit. And check things off of Steve's bucket list. Bucky plans on staying with the Avengers. He also plans on continuing on dating Wanda. And one day he wants to get married and have kids. He will continue to take care of Tessaiga. Then one day pass it down to one of his kids. For now he's happy at home with Wanda.
