Chapter 19
"You are supposed to be dead. How exactly did you survive the fire.?" Lucas asked.
"Someone pulled me out. I woke up in the hospital and have been living low ever since. I don't want to cause issues for you. I just thought it was time you knew. You didn't kill me."
"You are free of what that guilt and burden caused." Dan explained.
"This changes nothing between us. You took my mom and Keith. Away from me and Lilly. There is nothing you can do to change that. Go back to wherever you came from. And stay away from us." Lucas replied.
"You would like that wouldn't you son.? But i'm not going anywhere. Lilly isn't Keith's daughter. She's mine." Dan confessed.
Lucas fought the urge to knock Dan out with his laptop.

Sometime Later
Lucas left the cafe. And headed towards the cemetery.
He placed down a new bouquet of flowers. At Karen and Keith's gravestones.
He now understood now more then ever why his mother was taken.
Dan had her killed to keep her quiet. And Keith was just caught in the middle.
Lucas silently promised his mother in this moment that Dan would never get his hands on Lilly.
"I was just stopping by to visit her. I'm reminded just how much she meant to me whenever i come by. " A voice said.
Lucas turned and looked up into the face of a stranger.
"Who are you.? Why exactly are you talking to me.?" Lucas questioned.
"We were both involved with Sasha. I'm Nixon's father." The man explained.
Lucas knew his day couldn't possibly get worse.
