Chapter 22
"Lilly Karen Scott! Come back here right now!" Lucas exclaimed. Following her as she went up the stairs.
Lilly went into the spare room and slammed it shut.
It was then that Brooke emerged from her room.
"I think you should let her cool down. Maybe take Nixon home."
"Come pick her up in the morning." Brooke suggested.
"No. She is coming home. This isn't problem. They aren't you're kids. We're not a family! Back off!" Lucas exclaimed.
Brooke swallowed hard. She stepped aside and went downstairs.
"Nixon you should get ready to go. You're dad is gonna take you and Lilly home now." Brooke explained.

"Lilly get you're stuff together. We are going home!" Lucas instructed. From outside the closed bedroom door.
Lilly opened the front door to the spare bedroom
And stared up at him. "I'm not going anywhere with you.!" Lily insisted. Before closing the door again.
...
Lucas made his way back downstairs.
"Wait for me in the car." Lucas instructed. Looking to Wyatt.
Brooke hugged Wyatt warmly. Before watching him leave out the front door.
"Is Lilly gathering her things.?" Brooke asked.
"Lilly is refusing to go anywhere with me. She isn't leaving the room. Would it be okay if she stayed here for awhile.?" Lucas asked.
"I have no right to ask for it. I'm sorry about what i said."
"I shouldn't be taking this out on you. You're just trying to be there for me. For us." He proclaimed.
"She's welcome to stay as long as she wants. I'm not going anywhere Luke. It's gonna take alot more then this to push me away." Brooke replied.
When Lucas arrived back home with Nixon. He found a thick envelope from Richard and a lawyer. Once he opened the envelope and began to read. His heart dropped.
Richard didn't just want contact he wanted custody.
