Chapter 26
When Lucas got a call from Brooke. Telling him that Lilly told her she wanted to come home. He nearly burst into tears. He politely thanked his friends for their support and promised that they would meet up again. But made it clear he needed some space.
Lucas awaited Lilly on the front porch of the home. He saw Brooke's car park in the driveway. The passenger side open and Lilly raced over to him.
Lucas opened his arms engulfing her in a hug.
"I'm sorry daddy! I love you!" Lilly exclaimed. The emotion in her voice thick.
"I love you too Lilly Pad. It's okay. It's all forgiven. We are moving on." He reassured her when they pulled apart.
Lilly waved goodbye to Brooke then brought her suitcase inside.

Lucas walked over to where Brooke was parked.
At the sight of him. She got out of her car. Smiled up at him.
He wrapped his arms around her. Brooke hugged him.
He kissed her. Pulling her close to him.
Brooke kissed him back. Wanting to stay in the moment.
But once they broke apart. Lucas locked eyes with her.
"Thank you for taking care of my little girl." Lucas said.
"You're welcome. But there is nothing to thank me for. I told you. We're in this together." She replied.
"Once everything has calmed down. And life is back to normal."
"I owe you a first date. And hopefully many more dates after that." Lucas said.
"It's the worth the wait. And i can't wait to spend real alone time together. Until then I'll be around." She replied.

Peyton hadn't expected this visit with Richard to go on for so long.
Seeing Nixon come back to the car and get inside the passenger seat. She had so many questions.
"How did it go.?" Peyton asked.
"I didn't want to like him. But i do." Nixon admitted.

"Would you be okay if i saw him again.?" Nixon asked. Looking to his father. After getting dropped off back home by Peyton.
Lucas thought it over. "I won't keep you from seeing him. But next time you do. I want to meet with him." He insisted.
