Weeks Later
Lucas spent days in a ball of stress. Yes he still went to work but he was on edge the entire time. Night time was the worst of it. He couldn't sleep he simply tossed and turned until the sun rise.
Nixon's silence against his father was more then he could take. At least he had Lilly who was somewhat thriving against the chaos.
And thankfully the strong support of his friends who continued to be his strength and backbone throughout another dark period of his life.
Lastly and importantly. Brooke had been an incredible girlfriend throughout this endless emotionally draining process.
He could admit he would of been lost without her.

"You do know you're making a huge mistake right.?" Lilly asked.
Nixon looked to her with a confused expression on his face.
"Why is it wrong that i want to make up for lost time with my dad.?" He questioned.
"Wow. You're calling him dad now.? I think it's weird that this guy comes out of nowhere and sticks onto you the way he has."
"It's been a few weeks at the most. You've heard dad's side of the story. You heard Richard's. Yet you are ready to just cut dad out of you're life. Because he was trying to protect you and make sure nothing ruined the life he had built for us."
"You think there is nothing wrong with you. Planning to move in with Richard. A practical stranger. Compared to staying with our dad who raised us both alone all this time."
"You don't see it. How this whole thing is breaking dad's heart and tearing our family apart.?" Lillly questioned.
"You don't get it. You're biological dad is dead. Richard came back for me. That matters." Nixon replied. Before leaving the bedroom.

Richard Singer couldn't believe he had accomplished his goal. Turning Nixon against Lucas. Making it so Nixon wants to move in. His plan of revenge against Lucas Scott was almost complete. And couldn't be more proud of himself.
