Chapter 4
Chicken Island
FH is shown floating above the village sipping some coffee watching Tak and Flora heading towards another elevator.
He suddenly turns around.
"Damn it"
He vanished.
Meanwhile with Tak and Flora.
Tak was following flora to a large balloon in the shape of a chicken.
"Ok you still haven't told me where we're going?'
Tak asked flora who floated near him.
"Can't you tell we're heading to chicken island."
Tak jumped inside the balloon and it began to move.
"So whats chicken island like?"
Flora smiled.
"Well it's an island where the natives worship well chickens."
"That's a bit weird"
"Yeah but we don't question it but this should be an easy plant to get since there's no treetops to climb on just an island."
They land on the island.
Tak walks onto the land and noticed wild rams and chickens around as well as several sheep.
"I guess they all got turned into sheep as well"
"Yeah"
Flora responded floating next to him.
"Let's hurry and find the plant."
Tak nodded and walked forward.
A ram saw him and immediately ran into him pushing Tak into the ocean.
Flora pulled him out and far away from the ram.
"Well that wasn't fun."
Tak said looking at the ram.
"Yeah I should have warned you that rams aren't exactly friendly with humans."
Flora looked down.
Tak noticed a sheep walking towards the ram.
"Oh that poor sheep."
But the ram just followed the sheep with hearts in its eyes.
The sheep jumped down and the ram went back to its original position.
Tak looked confused.
"So rams like sheep?"
"Yeah i don't understand either, im more of a plant based juju not animal based, my sister is though."
"Hmm i have an idea"
Tak goes over to a sheep and holds it on his back.
"This is heavy."
He slowly walks to the ram.
The ram reacted the same way and followed Tak before he left the sheep and jumped down.
"Smart move Tak and look were close to the plant."
Flora points at a small island surrounded by boiling hot water.
"Well this looks challenging."
Tak looked down.
"Well it's either this path or that."
She pointed at a land path full of rams rhinos and nerbals.
"Well lets see do we have anyway across the water."
Flora and Tak looked around and found an orangutan near a banana tree.
"We can use the tree to throw you across the water."
Tak thinks
"What will happen if i fall into this water?"
"Well if you're not eaten by any sea creatures probably boiled alive."
Flora explained and then her eyes widened.
"I did not think that far ahead."
"When you fly everywhere i guess you don't have to worry about this."
"True i would offer to fly you across but i don't think i have the strength physically."
"Well then guess i'm fighting."
Tak started walking down the path while holding his club.
Flora watched him walk down the path.
"Brave and Smart."
Several Nerbals ran at Tak before he hit them into the boiling water.
More of them appeared from a nest in front of Tak.
He moved back and looked at the Nerbals heading towards him.
"Flora i need to break that nest but i can't get through."
Flora looks for a moment.
"Hold on even with my limited magic i may have something."
She waves her hands around and a small bag appeared in her hand.
"Here"
She tossed it to Tak who looked inside.
"Acorns?"
"Use your staff as a blow gun and shoot the nest."
Tak nods and uses the staff to know the nerbals close to him and after a few shots he broke the nest.
"Nice this will come in handy."
Flora landed on the ground and was breathing a bit heavily.
Tak ran over to her.
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah..just a ...little tired."
"Guess your magic is pretty limited?"
"I'll be fine when the moon juju is restored."
Tak nods.
"Just rest up while i get the plant."
Flora looks at him.
"You sure youll be ok?"
"Yeah i just thought of a way to get through the rest of this path."
He looks at a rhino that was napping behind the remains of the nerbal nest.
Tak hopped on the rhino and with a few kicks to its side it started running forward through nerbals rams and wooden walls.
The rhino stopped and Tak was thrown onto the island where the plant was.
"Alright let's do this."
Tak ran at the plant which came to life and smacked Tak down and attempts to try to bite off Tak's head.
He held his club up and blocked the bite.
Tak moves back and looks at his club which broke in half.
"Well that's not good."
Tak grabbed the staff and thought of an idea.
He aims carefully and shot an acorn directly in the mouth of the plant.
Tak watched the plant cough and scream before its head exploded.
"I can't believe that worked."
He grabs the smaller plant and heads back to Flora.
"So those plants are weak to acorns?"
Flora was floating again.
"No you must have hit it directly in the right spot."
"It was choking on it."
Flora raised an eyebrow
"Didn't even know that was possible?"
Tak smiled.
"Neither did Tlalok."
Flora laughed.
"Yeah true anyway let's hurry there's one more plant left."
Tak and Flora left the Chicken Islands unaware of the danger they were walking in.
FH appears above the islands
"Ok look yes it's been over a year since I updated cut me some slack im working on it i hope you enjoyed this chapter see you next time"
