Awhile Later
Lucas took Brooke by the hand to his bedroom.
Once the door behind him was closed. Lucas looked to her.
"The police are doing all they can but i haven't heard anything from them in hours. Which is only making me more on edge."
"Something is wrong. I can feel it." "Which i why i pulled you to the side. I need to get out here. And find Nixon myself." Lucas explained.
Brooke's eyes went wide. "I don't like this. It's too dangerous. There already so much risk going on. Nixon and Lilly need you to stay here and be safe."
"I need you to stay safe." She proclaimed.
"I wouldn't be doing this if i felt like i had any other choice."
"Waiting around here like this isn't getting me answers. Who knows what Richard has planned and he clearly could care less about Nixon and him coming home at all."
"I'm asking and pleading with you to watch over Lilly for me. Until i get back. She told me about how you calmed her down and made her feel better."
"I will do everything i can to return home safely. I promise you." Lucas said.
Brooke took his hands in hers. And leaned over kissing him hard.
She sighed deeply. She wanted to scream. Cry. Beg him not to leave her. But that isn't what Lucas needed now.
"You have my full support. My cellphone is on. I'll stick beside Lilly."
"You come back to me Lucas Scott. It took me this long to find you. I won't lose you. Bring our boy home." Brooke replied.
"I love you." Lucas said.
"I love you too." Brooke replied.
She watched him leave out of the bedroom with her heart jumping to her throat.

Nixon voice was hoarse from all his screaming. He was tired. Cold. Hungry. And just wanted to go home.
When he heard and saw Richard coming towards the parked vehicle he was relieved.
"I want to go home! Right Now!" Nixon yelled.
"That isn't possible. I can't take you back there. I'm stuck with you."
"He won't take you. We have to go somewhere else. If i knew you were gonna be such a burden i would of never looked you up in the first place." Richard stated.
Nixon looked back at him with a hurt expression on his face.
"I thought. You cared about me. That you wanted to be my dad. For me to move in with you. Why are you saying all of this.?" Nixon questioned.
"Wake up Nixon. I've always known where you were being raised."
"I saw Lucas leaving the hospital with you and was so relieved."
"I only looked into you because i figured i could get some money out of you. I offered Lucas 50,000 dollars and he turned it down."
"You are alot of work. I need to figure out a plan. What to do with you." Richard explained.
"Let me go. I won't tell anyone." Nixon pleaded.
"No that won't work. I'm not going to prison. So the only solution is to kill you." Richard said.
He grabbed ahold of Nixon and dragged him out of the car.
When he took out his gun from his back pocket.
He had the back story all worked out. His parents would cover his tracks.
Police Sirens filled the air. As officers got out of their squad cars.
"Step away from the boy!"
"Put you're hands up and step away from the vehicle!"
Lucas practically jumped from the car. Seeing Nixon at the mercy of Richard's hands.
He found his way after the police gave him tips that were called in.
Lucas exited his car and ran towards Nixon.
"Scott look at you ready to play hero."
"Nix i guess you were wanted by someone after all."
"It's too bad he's not gonna see you again." Richard said. As he tightened his grip on Nixon and ran towards the nearby bridge.
Lucas couldn't wait for the officers actions. He raced over and grabbed ahold of Nixon.
As Richard plunged over the bridge to his death.
Lucas carefully brought Nixon back over to him.
The young boy was shaking as he clung to his father.
The officers confirmed Richard's death and one of the officers offered to take Nixon to the hospital but he refused.
"I just want to go home." Nixon pleaded.
