Family don't end in blood. It doesn't start there either.

The drive home from the house in the woods was quiet. It wasn't until they got to the Scott home driveway did Nixon turn and look to Lucas.

"I'm sure you're hungry. I can make you whatever you want. You'll sleep alot better in you're own bed."

"Everyone is going to be so relieved and happy to see you. Especially Lilly and Brooke. Of course you're aunts and uncles." Lucas said.

"Why did you come try and find me at all.? I haven't been acting nice or even talking to you. Why did care that i was gone.?" Nixon asked.

"You're my son. I love you. I would do anything for you."

"Nothing more to it then that." Lucas replied.

"I'm sorry daddy. I love you too." Nixon said.

With his seatbelt now unbuckled he went straight into his father's arms.

Lucas engulfed him into a hug. Once the two pulled apart they went inside the home together.

The friend group erupted into applause and cheers.

"Nixon!" Lilly exclaimed. Rushing down the stairs engulfing her brother in a hug.

Nixon hugged her back. The two joined hands and went upstairs. As Nixon recalled his final encounter with Richard.

Lucas thanked his friends for their love and endless support.

He revealed that Richard was dead and the nightmare of his presence in their lives was over.

Then the friend group made their way out of the home.

Awhile Later

Brooke was lingering in the hallway awaiting Lucas.

He was surprised and happy to see she was still here.

"I thought you had gone home. There is no reason to stick around." Lucas said.

"I wanted to check in with you. Nixon is home. The family is back together."

"I had to make sure you were okay." Brooke insisted.

"I'm better then that and you are a large reason as to why."

"I tried for a long time to resist my feelings for you and over time it just got to be obvious. How much you mean to me. How much i love you and how important to my kids you've become." Lucas proclaimed.

"If you're asking me to move in. The answer is yes." Brooke said.

"No nothing like that."

"Will you marry me.?" Lucas asked.
