Still The Killers Baby Girl

Summary: This is the continuation of the 'Killers Baby Girl' story, it's set after 'Killers not-so Baby Girl' and starts at the beginning of the TV show. Although due to some of the changes I'd made using events form the show earlier on It won't follow the complete Tv show timeline.

The main changes in the plot are: Tara never left Jax after high school and they married at 18, now with two kids Abel and Thomas. Donna, Ellie and Kenny were in a bad car crash and died years before this story is set. Half-Sack is a fully patched member with Cherry as an old Lady. and the new prospect is an OC but not that important to the plot.

.

A/N - this is the transition chapter from TVD season 1 to 2!

Chapter 12

Bramty stretched when she opened her eyes and looked over to see Dad sitting on the edge of her bed. He looked annoyed. It was probably because she had been ignoring him and trying to stay asleep for the last 10 minutes. "Morning Daddy!" Bramty sleepily smiled at him and watched as he rolled his eyes in an effort to stay annoyed.

"Happy Birthday baby girl" Dad smiled, relenting and allowing the smile to show though. "21 today" he groaned a little

Nodding her head she sat up in bed and kissed his cheek. "Love you" Bramty declared and was automatically in a good mood for her birthday. Her 21st was going to be great and she knew it. This birthday was going to be different because she had agreed to celebrate with her family instead of just her and Dad. Not to mention the fact that 21 is an important milestone...

She's officially legal for everything now!

Not that she had been deterred from doing what she wanted before... but, now, it's all legal!

"Love you too. Now get up. We're going to breakfast" Dad said, interrupting her contemplation as he stood from the bed. "Alvarez called. Diana wants to host a party for you at her house tomorrow night... Clay's letting us have the day off unless there is an emergency"

Smiling at that, Bramty stood and stretched, listening to her bones crack at the movement. "I know what to expect from Diana. What I wanna know is what Gemma's up to?" Bramty questioned with narrowed eyes, "Gemma made me promise that this year was all her... and she's been rushing off all week trying to plan it"

Daddy smirked knowingly and turned away to walk towards the her dorm rooms door. He just left the room without another word and Bramty groaned loudly.

His message was clear; good luck, but your on your own.

Picking up her phone from her bedside table, Bramty smiled at the collection of Birthday messages. Though the first one she was going to respond to was her Abuelas. If she left that woman waiting for long, she'd get a chancla to the head.

And fuck if Abuela doesn't still have good aim!

Hell even if Abuela had missed, Dad would take pleasure in throwing the chancla for Abuela!

Dialling the number she smiled when her Abuelas voice sounded through the phone. "Hola, Mija"

"Hola, Abuela. Thanks for the message - I love you too" Bramty grinned while grabbing clothes from her closet and placing them on her bed.

"Sí. I love my granddaughter very mucho" Abuela said, her broke English making Bramty smile wider somehow.

Today was just feeling like a great day...

Things in Charming had settled down for SAMCRO. Although Stahl had made a 'mistake' in Bobby's paperwork that kept him locked up for a few more weeks, he is technically free of all charges. The One-Niner business had been settled after Clay made it clear that SAMCRO was just levelling the playing field - not joining a war.

Even things with Jax were a little less tense.

Though Bramty suspected that was Gemma's going more than Jax accepting fault for anything. Gemma had spoken to Bramty after Clay filled her in. Apparently Gemma's years of experience in dealing with John Teller was how she understood where Jax's head was at even if he didn't say shit all.

However Bramty didn't really care where Jax was at in regards to herself and her actions. At least not as much as every thought she ought to care.

Jax had always been the most distant of all the sons in her childhood. Probably because he was busy starting his own family, on top of all that shit with Tara. Not to mention that Jax's reluctance with more violent matters had begun before she arrived. It had driven a clear wedge between Jax, Clay, Daddy and Tig even back then and Bramty would always pick her Daddy over Jax. Jax's reluctance back then had only added to the distance between them, preventing her from ever really getting to know him.

They had never been close.

A fact which was only obvious to other members now.

"Listen, when do you want me and Dad to come see you? Did you talk to him already?" Bramty questioned

Abuela hummed, "Today... and your papi already sorted out the details"

"By any chance did he mention what Gemma has up her sleeve?" Bramty asked but didn't hope for anything knowing that even if the woman knew, she'd never tell. Abuela had grown up in Mexico with a culture that one never snitched on someone. Though she hadn't been mixed up in anything illegal, it was just a common and important mentality. Daddy embodied the same belief and Bramty easily fell in line with that.

The Lowman's are loyal to the end.

"No lo se" Abuela chuckled, "Anyway that estupido nurse is here, Bramty"

Bramty chuckled hearing the distain in her Abuelas voice. Daddy getting a live in nurse had gone over as well as a hostile takeover would. She'd been sure that Daddy would get his ass whooped right then and there. But then Dad had said it was the nurse or a nursing home. Abuela near had a heart attack and didn't speak to Dad for a month. Only calling Bramty regularly to get updates on her son. It had taken a few more weeks but eventually Abuela was back to speaking with Dad again.

If only to complain about how much she hates the 'estupido puta nurses' to him.

"See you later. Te amo" Bramty hung up the phone and quickly jumped in the shower. She was still tiered after being woken up earlier than usual for one of her days off.

Drying herself she dressed in ripped lightwash skinny jeans, a small white camisole top and added her usual leather jacket. With the addition of her usual golden hopped earrings, Bramty slipped on her riding boots and readied to leave her room. Only pausing to secure a knife against her thigh, grab her glock and place a small knife in her pocket.

Shutting her bedroom door she smiled at Tig who was walking down the hall as well. "Hey Tiggy"

"Morning, doll" Tig hugged her and kissed her cheek. "Happy Birthday"

"Thanks" she kissed his cheek and walked with him down to the bar area. The smell of bacon and coffee reaching their noses as it usually did when either Gemma or Bobby were cooking. A few of the guys were already out drinking coffee at the bar or on the couches.

Chibs, Piney and Clay smiled at her as she walked over to them.

"Happy Birthday, sweetheart" Clay whispered as he hugged her tightly.

"Thanks, Clay" Bramty smiled at the man who was very much an important figure in her life. As much as Bramty loves almost the SAMCRO members as family - there are a select few who make the top of the list. Daddy, Clay and Tig have always been right at the top. Which was why Clay's words always held more weight than those the words of the others did.

Especially with Clay being President.

Hugging Clay she smiled again and made her way out of the clubhouse. Daddy was sitting in his bike waiting for her and she easily climbed onto her own Harley. Following him as they rode to the diner for breakfast. Bramty loved having the wind in her face as she sped through the rather empty streets of Charming. The engine revving beneath her as she rode side by side with her Dad down the road. It wasn't long before they were pulling up outside the diner and dismounting their bikes.

Bramty followed Dad as they walked into the diner and nodded at the usual waitress in greeting as she did so.

Sliding into the booth she sighed contently, "It's been a crazy few weeks... it'll be good to have a day or two to relax and spend time with family" she commented idly

Dad nodded, "Yeah, well, I'll be going on a run up to Tacoma in 4 days and I don't know how long I'll be there for"

Bramty shrugged in response as a pot of coffee was brought over to their table. She knew a lot of Charters liked having Dad ride up to help them with certain situations and she understood perfectly. Especially when there was nothing in Charming that was particularly pressing for him to stay. She knew he would never miss her birthday and so she was grateful that they were spending the next 2 days together before he heads to Tacoma.

If she needed him, he'd come back immediately.

She knew that.

Everyone did.

"Tig told me about the other night" Dad said with a small smirk as he shook his head in annoyance. "He really thought that those rules had worked"

Chuckling Bramty shrugged, "When had I ever obeyed any rules?" she scoffed

Dad snorted, "Yeah, well, I think the asshole is still cryin' 'bout it"

"You gotta love Tiggy" Bramty grinned in amusement as she looked at her fathers annoyed face. Clearly he'd had to listen to Tig whine about finding out that she hadn't listened to his stupid party rules as a teen. Of course, at the time she had pretended to in order to appease Tig and the others. But at the end of the day she'd done what she wanted to do regardless.

Dad had realised a long time ago.

But as long as she wasn't having issues with anything, then he didn't ask, nor did he particularly want to know.

Bramty smiled as she enjoyed spending the morning with Dad just talking and having breakfast. She never got tiered of spending time with Dad and in all honesty, he's her best friend. Bramty loved her father and doubted that she could ever get sick of being around him. She couldn't have wished for a better Birthday than this.

.

Bramty arrived back at the clubhouse later that night and found the parking lot full of motorcycles. She smirked when she realised Gemma and Clay had called other Charters down for the party.

SAMCRO parties were legendary for a reason after all.

Nobody was turning that invite down.

She dismounted her bike and tucked herself under Daddy's arm. He grumbled in complaint but willingly wrapped his arm around her shoulders. Together they walked into the clubhouse - met with blasting rock music, a horde of bikers and roar of Happy Birthday wishes.

"Happy Birthday, baby!" Gemma practically ripped her away from Dad to give her a tight hug. "Hope you have a great 21st"

Bramty chuckled, "How could I have a bad birthday when you organised it?" she said, pulling away with a kiss on Gemma's cheek. Bramty smirked when Gemma laughed but nodded in approval of the response nonetheless.

"Happy 21st kid" Clay hugged her next

Bramty wrapped her arms around the man who is as important to her as Daddy is. She kissed his cheek before whispering, "Thanks Clay"

Clay gave her shoulder a pat with a more genuine smile than most ever got from the man. Clay hadn't ever had his own kids and Jax had wanted nothing to do with the man, but Bramty had followed the Clay around like he was a second father. Clay had always treated her as if she were his own and taught her more than she could ever repay him for. Bramty always appreciated that more than most, having known what it was like to have nobody. She didn't take them for granted.

The party quietened down as the rest of SAMCRO gave Bramty hugs and birthday wishes.

A few Presidents of Vice Presidents from other Charters joined in and wished Bramty well. The men of SAMCRO seemed to be surprised by her familiarity with the notorious men from other Charters. It was one thing to know about her nomad travels and another thing to see it themselves apparently.

Not that Bramty was affected much by their disbelief.

"Casper!" Bramty threw herself at the man

The room was silent as everyone eyed the dangerous albino looking killer cautiously. Everyone seemed to be ready to break them up if a fight broke out. Casper had a reputation much like Dads, and while many had never met Casper, they were well aware of the man. It wasn't like Casper was hard to miss, even decked out in his leather Kutte he drew peoples attention. The red eyes, pale skin and hairless body stood out amongst the crowd of men but it was the lethal scowl permanently on his face that really made people keep their distance.

All except Bramty.

Casper was one of her closet friends.

Casper's arms wrapped around her waist as he held her in a hug. He smirked, "Happy Birthday, B" he said before setting her back down on her feet.

"How the hell did that happen?" Juice gawked

Bramty ignored the comment though as she dragged Casper with her to get drinks at the bar from one of the Prospects that had come into town with the Patches. The men who had stopped to take in the odd pair seemed to recover and go right back to their gashes. Bramty idly noticed that Daddy had disappeared with some blonde gash up to his dorm.

She pulled a face.

She didn't think she'd ever be completely used to that.

Tiggy walked over and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Hap said no presents... but I got you something anyway. A new gun. I'll give it to you tomorrow when you can't drunkenly shoot someone" Tig winked

Bramty snorted.

"Hey, man, you know if there's fights tonight?" Casper asked, looking at Tig curiously

Bramty turned pleading eyes to Tig who knew if there were fights tonight that she would want in. The club was sometimes a little reluctant to let her in the ring - but knowing she was more like her Dad then she looked eased them. Especially when she won. Bramty's fighting skills were only matched by a select few of the clubs most ruthless men.

"There's fights - but I don't know if Clay's gonna let-" Tig started

"Come on Tiggy" Bramty tugged on his arm. "It's my birthday"

Tig huffed and swatted her arm away before brandishing a finger at her face. "That doesn't work on me, Doll" he said before grinning, "But I always do like watching you fight"

"Can me and Casper fight later?" Bramty smirked at both men

Tig shrugged.

"I'm always up for a good fight" Casper mirrored her smirk before his eyes landed on a gash leaning over the bar. "I'm gonna party for a little while first though" he smirked

Bramty kissed his cheek and gave him a hug before he left to chase down the gash. She turned her attention to Tig as a few shots were placed in front of them. "Oh, hey, I can legally drink now" Bramty realised as she downed the three shots simultaneously.

Tig chuckled, "Doesn't mean much when you've been drinking for years already"

Bramty shrugged, "True"

"What's up with you and Casper the ghost?" Tig asked with furrowed brows. "Kid seemed a little too friendly with yah"

"No he didn't" Bramty rolled her eyes at him. "We're friends. Casper is ruthless, fights as good as I do. You should go a few rounds in the ring with him... that would be entertaining"

"That's a hell of a compliment coming from you, Doll" Tig acknowledged with an impressed look on his face. Tig looked at her searchingly, "You sure your just friends? I know you said you'd never want an Old Man again after Angel"

"Absolutely positive, Tig" Bramty assured him.

It was true.

After the events of her first love, Bramty had shut that part of herself down. Bramty had refused to feel much of anything after the funeral and sometimes she was glad - other times she hated herself for it. Angel would never have wanted her to give up on love but she couldn't help it. Bramty had her taste of love and loss already... she didn't want it again.

Bramty just wanted to have fun.

The only room for commitment that she has in her life is full.

It wasn't like she actually minded not having a man at her side though. In fact, Bramty was rather glad for it. Everything that she has in life now wouldn't of happened if she had been tied down by a man. Bramty wasn't yet done making herself into the woman she wants to be.

There wasn't room for a man in that process.

She had promised Filipe that she wouldn't hesitate from moving on because of Angel and Bramty would honour that. If ever the time came that she really did think there was love for her again - she'd deal with it. However, Bramty wasn't ready for something like that any time soon.

She shook the thought away.

Now wasn't the time.

Bramty turned back to the bar and ordered a few more shots of tequila. She downed then easily while laughing and talking with some of the other Patches that were around. Bramty smiled when Kozik passed her another shot from across the bar, both of them drinking together until Tig started arguing with Kozik. Bramty shook her head as she watched the exchange go back and forth between them both.

"...you're a prick, Tig!" Kozik snapped back

Tig puffed his chest, "Well it's true! You wouldn't know how to fuck a gash properly if someone explained it to you. Leave the gashes to the real men"

"See yah boys later" Bramty interrupted kissing them both on the cheeks before disappearing. She rolled her eyes when the sound of them bickering could be heard over top of the music. Shaking her head she walked out of the clubhouse and sat on an empty picnic bench to smoke.

Bramty took a pull from the cigarette.

She heard the clubhouse door open and shut, aware that someone had paused not far behind her for a second. Bramty didn't bother turning around but her hand did go to the knife in her pocket when an unfamiliar hand landed harshly on her shoulder.

"What the hell are you doing here, Katherine?" the man's voice was gruff and harsh

Bramty tensed involuntarily at the name she hadn't heard be uttered once in 10 years. Her brows furrowed as she attempted to recall the voice of the man who currently had assumed she was her mother. Bramty roughly pulled herself free of the grip on her shoulder and turned to shoot the man an icy glare.

"Not Katherine" Bramty grit out

Her eyes scanned over the man before her - noting his eyes doing the same to her with just as much confused scrutiny. He was taller than her, maybe 6'3 as he stood in his leather Kutte. His skin was tan, clearly Hispanic, with dark brown hair and bright green eyes. The patches reading 'SAMTAC Enforcer' and forced her to place the man as Lorca.

"How the fuck do you know Katherine?" Bramty demanded, her shoulders squaring as she remained scowling at the man.

"You her kid or something?" He asked

Bramty jutted her chin up at him with a grunt of confirmation that made her sound exactly like Dad. Bramty knew though, that this man, was just as mean as her Daddy and wasn't more than briefly surprised by the action.

"Katherine used to be a croweater around here for a little while" The man finally answered with an equally as annoyed growl in his voice. "Like mother, like daughter, right?"

Bramty's glare turned even sharper and she opened her mouth to deliver an chilling threat when the clubhouse door opened. She didn't take her eyes off the man though - not willing to dismiss someone who was quite likely a threat. Bramty might not have been able to place his face from her memory but if he knew Katherine then it couldn't mean anything good.

"Baby Girl. What are you doing, aren't you fighting?" Daddy growled out from the doorway. However he seemed to pause to get a read on the situation he had walked into. "Everything alright here, Bramty? Lorca?"

"Everything's good, Daddy" Bramty nodded to her father, briefly flicking her eyes away from Lorca as she moved to pass the man. "Stay the hell away from me" Bramty sneered lowly to the man as she brushed past him.

Lorca turned to watch Bramty tuck herself under Dad's arm and walk back into the clubhouse.

He knew who she was now.

Bramty fixed one more glare over her shoulder at the man, her lip curling up in a feral snarl that she had learnt from Dad. She was satisfied when the shock finally showed clearly on his face and let out a scoff that he saw more than heard before finally turning away.

"What was that about?" Dad narrowed his eyes suspiciously once they were back inside the clubhouse.

"Thought I was some gash" Bramty scoffed, not entirely sure why she hadn't been completely honest with him. There was just something about that man that set Bramty on edge. It was likely the fact that Lorca knew Katherine but Bramty wasn't looking to delve into that topic yet.

That bullshit was under lock and key for now.

"Sure that's all?" Dad's narrowed eyes were still trained on her face.

Bramty smiled sweetly at his care and kissed his cheek as she nodded. "Yeah... thought I was a croweater or something" she rolled her eyes as her mood lightened. Bramty may have been handed a shitty mom and a no-show sperm donor, but she had lucked out with her Dad. "Love you, Dad" Bramty told him

Dad grunted, "Love you too. Now go win this fight - got 50 on you"

Bramty laughed as she ran over to the ring where Casper was waiting. Bramty grinned in excitement and taped up her hands before taking out her hoops. Bramty climbed into the ring but her smile faltered when she found Lorca's green eyes intensely watching her every move. Bramty grit her teeth when Lorca said something to catch Dad's attention, though Lorca's eyes remained on her as he spoke.

Rage churned in her stomach.

"You good?" Casper gave her a questioning look as he too climbed into the ring. Knowing her well enough to notice the subtle change.

Bramty grit her teeth and gave a sharp nod.

"Hope your ready for a fight, Cas, 'cause I'm pissed as fucking hell" she growled

Casper nodded slowly, not questioning the answer, but knowing a good fight was what she needed to get it out of her system. When Chibs rang the bell... the violently brutal dance began. Bramty took all her unease and rage out on Casper who enjoyed the beating as much as he enjoyed doing the beating.

Bramty rolled her shoulders as she stepped out of her fathers dorm room. Shutting the door behind her she paused when her eyes landed on the man about to knock on her dorm door. Bramty grit her teeth and cleared her throat before pinning Lorca in place with a glare right off Dad's face.

Lorca stared back at her with a blank face.

"The fuck do you want, ese?" Bramty spat lowly

Lorca glared, "To know what the fuck your problem is, Cabrona?"

"Ain't no puta" Bramty said as she eyed the man and moved to open her dorm door. She looked over her shoulder at him and added, "The hell do you care anyway?"

"Lookin' for Katherine" Lorca rasped out looking like he would much rather take a bullet than be asking Bramty that question.

Bramty's eyes darkened and she stared at him in silence for longer than what was considered normal. She didn't understand how this man had anything to do with Katherine and didn't want to know. "Bitch is dead" Bramty shrugged before a twisted little smile turned up the corners of her lips at the memory of her mothers death.

Lorca rose a brow, "How?"

"Look mano" Bramty snapped, "I don't know how you know the puta, but she's been dead for 4 years. Anything related to the bitch should stay buried with her body" she said before stepping into her bedroom and shutting the door in his face.

Bramty sighed.

She knew she probably shouldn't be mouthing off to Lorca the way she was, not when she had never met him before. Lorca was a dangerous man. One that matched the likes of her father with ease. However there was something about the man that made her uneasy. Her inability to explain her unease only made her angrier as he mentioned Katherine once again.

Katherine was not someone she enjoyed having brought up.

Everyone knows that.

It was a sure way to earn a beating from either herself, Dad or Tig if someone was heard mentioning the woman.

Bramty ran a hand over her face as she caught her reflection in the mirror. Her hard green eyes were a comfort to see in her reflection that was too much like Katherine to ignore. Bramty wasn't surprised she had been mistaken as her mother, but it felt like a punch to the gut anyway. Her chest tightened at the mere reminder and it took everything she had to swallow around the lump forming in her throat. Bramty sighed and turned away from the reflection, shutting her eyes as rare tears threatened to fall.

She wouldn't cry for that bitch.

Nor would she allow herself to go down a path she had spent years trying to recover from.

The abuse and neglect Katherine had put her through had taken a lot of work to come to terms with. When she was a child it had been all she knew in life. It took years for her to really acknowledge the depths of what had happened to her as a child. What was worse was that it took Katherine kidnapping and selling her for that to happen. Once it had though, the flood of memories she had felt were too strong to push away again. Bramty had been forced to deal with everything.

it had taken a long time.

Bramty was just glad she'd had Kozik, Tig and Dad there to help her through it. For men who didn't do the 'emotion bullshit' they had been shockingly supportive and attentive to her emotional state.

They had gotten her through it with some difficulty.

But she'd survived.

Like she survived everything else... and now Bramty was stronger and healthier for it. The pain lessened more and more as she accepted her past. Knowing her mother was dead brought relief, even all these years later. Finally she had been able to close that section of her life once and for all.

Or so she thought... because now some random patch was apparently looking for Katherine?

Why anyone would do that was beyond Bramty's comprehension. It struck her as odd immediately and left her unsure of what to do. It wasn't like Lorca had really done anything wrong, but her animosity towards Katherine seemed to have been ignited by being mistaken for the bitch. Bramty sighed, unable to shake the suffocating discomfort she now felt.

Maybe it was worth bringing this up to Dad?
