~ Eevee
I was on the train with Sylveon and Evelyn. We all didn't say a word. I guess we were all still soaking it in.
We were meeting an angel of Heaven in our old meeting spot. I sent Ryu a text to meet us there at noon and he said he'll be there.
I grabbed Sylveon's paw because I couldn't stop shaking. He said nothing but held my paw back.
Once we reached our spot we all got off and started walking through the Outbacks.
We soon spotted the familiar hole in the fence covered in shrubbery. I tightened my grip on Sylveon's paw as we entered the woods.
Flashbacks came rushing through me head as I remembered first coming here 4 years ago.
This place was special to me I didn't want to come here on these circumstances.
I did my best to hide my unease as the old lake came into sight. Ryu stood there waiting by the edge of the water.
He rubbed the back of his head when he saw us.
"Hi guys."
"Hi Ryu."
"Can one of you guys explain why you suddenly wanted to meet up like this?"
"You'll see."
I said as I walked past Ryu feeling uncomfortable after the last time we spoke. Sylveon spoke with him and Evelyn was next to me to be away from him.
"You two still aren't talking?"
"No. He never apologized. I have nothing to say to him."
I sighed out of annoyance. I heard about Ryu breaking up with Fennekin from Froakie. He saw the whole thing and it explains why she wasn't around pestering us.
But do these two make it difficult, when everything can be fixed if she sucks up her pride and lets Ryu apologize to her.
We approached the old basketball court and it got slightly damaged from the last time we were here. Some of the wall had fallen and now more sun peaked through the roof.
"Oh great you all made it."
Ryu flinched in surprise as we all looked at Mew fly out from behind a tree.
"M-M-Mew?!"
"Hello again Ryu. I trust you might recognize me in this form?"
She said as she transformed into a Lucario. We all wowed at her transformation as Ryu looked at her with instant recognition.
"You?! No wonder you had an unusual aura! You're Mew!"
"Yeah I tried to keep it hidden but I guess it's nearly impossible to hide lies or aura from a Lucario."
"Why are you meeting us like this Mew?! Why all the lies and secrets?!"
"I'm sorry. I had to make sure you all were the champions. I didn't want to make a mistake and then have to fix a huge misunderstanding."
She said as she transformed back into Mew.
"H-How dare you!"
We were all surprised at Ryu as he charged at Mew with a Aura Sphere. His eyes red with fury.
Before the attack could hit her a pokemon came out of nowhere and deflected it by grabbing Ryu's wrist tightly and his head.
This pokemon looked kind of like Mew only taller and a different color. And more intimidating.
Ryu grunted in pain as the pokemon glared at him and spoke.
"Try and harm her again and I'll destroy you until there's nothing left. Not even your ashes."
He said as he dropped him.
"Such a waste on a pokemon that can't even control his aura."
"He was only mad because he has trust issues Mewtwo. Leave him alone."
"Mewtwo?!"
The four of us all said at once before dropping to the ground and bowing.
"I apologize for my friend. He won't do that again. Have mercy on us Mewtwo."
"Yeah I'm sorry."
"All of you get up. You don't have to bow as long as this loser doesn't do that again. I won't destroy any of you."
We all nodded before getting up. Wow the God of Destruction was here too.
Note to self. Don't piss him off and don't harm Mew.
"Now, you all know why you are here. You are the new Champions chosen by the fate. The aura you were born with makes you all special and represents your best strengths. You mortal pokemon have invented a card game I believe in honor of the former champions. All from 100 years ago that each have a name inscribed on them representing their strengths. Roman and Emilia the Lovers, Obsidian the Loyal, and Lucina the Friendship. Their strengths have been repeated in the four of you. Eevee and Sylveon the Lovers, Evelyn the Loyal, and Ryu the Friendship. But aside from these titles of the past you four also have your own strengths."
"What are they?"
"Well Eevee hold out your paws and I'll shall forsee."
I cautiously held them out as Mew took them closing her eyes and an energy flew from her. When she reopened her eyes they were glowing.
"Eevee your best strength is your admirable intellect. In the battles you will face figuratively and literally this will be the tool to overcome them. If you follow this path you will become the Founder of Peace."
"And if I don't?"
"That I cannot see, but don't worry you will make the best desicions even if you cannot see them. Now Sylveon."
I pulled away from her paws and Sylveon came forward and took them next.
"Sylveon your best strength is your undoubtable kindness. You always put others safety before your own and you are a true friend. But continue being reckless in putting others needs before your own and you will suffer endless ammounts of pain. Go down this path and you will be the Founder of Giving."
"But what if I want to protect Eevee what do I do then?"
"Always thinking of her. You are such a fool in love. She's both lucky and unfortunate to have you because she will be the cause of your suffering."
Sylveon stood back momentarily stunned before he walked away towards me and held my paw.
"Even if she is the cause of my pain I will always protect her. There's no one else I'd rather be with."
"Sylveon."
I said as my face flushed. We embraced as Mew flew towards Evelyn and took her paws.
"Evelyn your best strength is your strong tenacity. You are always there to protect those dear to you at the right moments. Nothing can tell you otherwise. Although brash and prideful you find a good way to balance them out. Go down this path and you will be the Founder of Valor."
"Nothing to warn me about?"
"If you let your pride or anger go to your head too often it will make you vulnerable."
She said nothing else as she backed away and Mew approached Ryu and took his paws.
"Now Ryu your best strength is righteous determination. You will struggle when it comes to figuring out yourself but with your friends help you will overcome these obstacles. Your friends will always be there for you and you for them. Go down this path and you will be the Founder of Trust."
"Alright. I have one question though. Was I choosen because of Lucina?"
"So prideful. Like your girlfriend."
He looked at Evelyn and she looked at him when Mew said that. They looked away just as fast their faces flushed.
"She is not my girlfriend."
"Whatever you say. Anyways to answer your question it's yes and no. You had to be the one specific Riolu born with a particular aura in Lucina's family yes. And no because although you're her descendant you are different since you were born a twin. Thus making your aura control harder because circumstances are now different."
"I see. Sorry for attacking you earlier I just have trust issues because of how many pokemon were dishonest to me."
I knew exactly who he was talking about.
"Don't worry I understand. It's alright."
She said before letting go of his paws and her eyes stopped glowing.
"Well now that that's done. Your training for the God's Tournament starts today. Get ready."
"And you all will be learning alongside myself and Mew so consider this an honor and not an obligation."
"Yes sir."
"Alright let's begin."
