Me and Ryu left Magikonalds in a hurry when we saw the time. We were definitely doing better now than in July.

Our friendship was eventually repaired and recently we tried to spend more time with just each other.

Although he was trying to be more straight with me sometimes he still needed more confidence because like me he struggled to be more open about feelings.

"Thanks for getting some dinner with me. It was nice."

"Don't mention it. Next time we can go somewhere else you like."

"We've been doing that for a while already. Why not a place you like this time?"

"I mean only if you want to."

"I do."

"In that case how does pizza sound?"

"If it has anchovies on it then you got a date."

I blushed as I realized what I said and turned away feeling embrassed. I was saying more and more things like this lately.

Is this what it's like to like someone?

"Alright it's a date."

I looked back at Ryu and he was smiling at me. This was really him and not him following advice from Sylveon.

Well that guy has a girlfriend so I can cut him some slack for giving Ryu advice. Because honestly it was working.

We continued heading back to my house and kept giving side glances to each other.

Damn it idiot make a move already!

I inched my paw closer to his but chickened out at the last second.

Stop being so shy Evelyn! It's just Ryu's paw!

I felt Ryu's paw go around mine and he held it.

Oh that was easy.

I turned to him and he was smiling at me some more. I gave him a small smile before looking away.

"Evelyn?"

Ryu stopped and I turned to look at him surprised.

"Yeah?"

He put his arms around me and hugged me.

"I have something important to say to you."

"I'm listening."

"Well I think you're beautiful. And I like you a lot."

"I already knew you like me. But you really think I'm beautiful?"

He titled my chin up and looked right at my eyes. I realized the height difference between us and noticed he's a lot taller than me.

"Everytime I look at you I feel my face flush. And I think,'Wow, how can an Ice type look so hot? She's as beautiful as a diamond.'"

"Just like a diamond?"

"No I think you're free spirited and tenacious. You're tough as nails and you are there when it matters most. I honestly think you're more beautiful when you get angry because that's who you are. You can be yourself and I like that about you."

"Aww, and these are the most compliments I've ever heard you tell me to my face. I'm impressed."

"I want to make it clear how much I care about you. I did promise not to let your paw go remember?"

"I do. But I didn't think you meant literally."

"Well still I won't. Can I kiss you Evelyn?"

"It would be appropriate."

"Hehe what?"

"Nothing."

I leaned forward trying not to squeal inside as I was about to kiss Ryu. Our lips nearly touched when he suddenly put his paws on my shoulders and stopped me.

"Ryu? What is it?"

"Some pokemon are watching us. I can sense their auras."

I tensed immeadiately and whispered to him.

"Where? And how many?"

"In the alleyway behind you. And I can't tell too many to count."

"What? So what do we do?"

"Nothing. That's all you two can do."

When we both heard a pokemon speak we turned ready to fight. There was a male Lucario with several other fighting pokemon.

"Who are you?! What do you want with us?!"

"My woman wants to have a word with Ryu. Come along quietly."

*Ryu

"Who are you even talking about?!"
"Enough questions. Get them."
3 Hitmonlee's and 2 Hitmonchan's charged at us. I ducked down to avoid the kicks and Evelyn jumped up. Too many hits on her won't do us any good.
She Double Kicked the Hitmonchan's in the face while I used Aura Sphere on the other three. We defeated them in one hit and charged at the Lucario.
He dodged Evelyn's punch and slapped her aside. I grew angry and punched him. He brushed it off easily and ran into alleyway.
We ran after him and didn't realize until too late that this was a huge mistake. The male Lucario smiled at us smugly at the fact we were completely surrounded by fighting types in all corners.
"Surrender and we'll both let you live to tell the tale."
"You'll have to force us ba*ard!!"
"Such foul language. My followers let me pass."
I felt the blood inside me grow cold as my twin sister stepped through the crowd up next to the male Lucario. She was a Lucario now too.
"Darling I don't think you've met my brother yet. Ryu this is my husband Lucarus. Say hi."
"Don't call me that! You are not my family anymore!"
"Aww I'm so sorry to hear you say that. And after I came all this way just to see you dear brother."
"What do you want Rial?!"
"To get back at that b*ch Eevee and you to suffer. Just not the way you think. Believe or not I don't hate you Ryu-Ryu. At least not anymore. I'm fond of you my twin and I've had some of my followers watching you. I know your weaknesses and who you care about. I can hurt you this way because I can never find it in my heart to kill you. After all it wasn't your fault our parents favored you over me even if I'm the older one. You were their perfect son who was good at training, sports, appearances, and a smaller version of our father in everyway. I want them to see how powerful I am now. No more hiding in the shadows. I will take over this city and make it my kingdom. When that's done I will kill off everyone you love one by one until only you are left. Only then will I finally be happy."
"YOU'RE A PSYCHOPATH!"
"I'm more disturbed from living in a shithole of an enviornment than anything brother. I took psychology classes. Now will you surrender or..."
Her lackeys immediately grabbed me and pinned me to the ground. I flinched when I heard Evelyn scream as they grabbed her roughly and pulled her ribbons like they wanted to pull them off her head.
"I will scalp your girlfriends head until I get everything off and you have the image of her corpse replaying in your head over and over...Hehehehahaha! HAHAHAHAHAHA! SO WHAT'S IT GONNA BE? SURRENDER AND I LET YOU BOTH LIVE OR SHE DIES! WHAT'S YOUR ANSWER?!"
"Don't listen to this b*ch! AUGH!"
I growled as Rial kicked her face so hard her nose started bleeding.
"Shut. up. And maybe I won't just kill you right now."
"F*ck you! AAAAAAHHHHH!"
Rial attacked her and I fought hard against the pokemon restraining me as Evelyn's screams rang loudly.
"STOP IT! DO WHATEVER YOU WANT TO ME JUST DON'T HURT HER ANYMORE!"
"AAAAAAAAAHHHH! RYU!"
"EVELYN! STOP! STOP! I SURRENDER! PLEASE! STOP!'
I shouted while sobbing until I heard bones snap and Evelyn's body went limp.
"Evelyn?"
"Finally she's dead."
Rial said nonchalantly as she stood up from Evelyn's unmoving body.
"How dare you...How..."
I clenched my fists as my aura roared loudly out from me and it sent a wave so powerful all the pokemon flew off me.
"I'LL KILL YOU!"
I shouted as I mega evolved into Mega Lucario and charged at Rial. I grabbed her neck tightly and slammed her into a wall.
I repeated it and when I roared I sounded like a Incineroar.
"HahahaHAHAHA! You were always the better twin in strength too!! But don't worry little brother I am powerful too!!'
She laughed sadistically as she glowed in an all black aura. No color but black means death or no feeling but hatred.
She Force Palmed me into a nearby building as if my attacks barely even scratched her. I yelped loudly when I made contact with the wall but I recovered fast and charged back at her.
We both lifted a punch and hit each other in the face. The impact sent us flying backwards.
We used Aura Sphere and it sent a powerful shockwave as they couldn't overpower each other.
"You are strong as always brother! But me and my demon are one in the same! What about you?! DO YOU EVEN UNDERSTAND YOURS YET?!"
"I am not afraid of it or you anymore!! I befriended mine! YOU JUST LET IT TURN YOU INTO A MONSTER!"
"Well if I am such a monster...THEN I GUESS I'LL DO THIS!"
She said as she fired an Aura Sphere at Evelyn who still wasn't moving. I Quick Attacked over to her and picked her up even though the attack harmed me badly.
I yelped in pain as I felt painful scorch marks all over my body. It hurt so much I didn't see Rial right behind me.
She rammed her paw right through my stomach.
"AAAAAAHHHHH!!! AAAAAAAHHHHH! AUGH! Augh..."
I screamed in agonizing pain as she pulled her paw out and I fell to the ground with Evelyn in my arms.
"I could kill you both right now if I wanted to but that wouldn't be fair. I did enough to you already. Phase 2 of my plan can begin."
She pulled out a cellphone and dialed a number.
"Yes hello, I'd like to report an attack. There's two pokemon in need of an ambulance ASAP. They are by an alleyway near Central Park, east side. Thank you yes. Goodbye."
She said calmly before hanging up and destroying the cellphone. She approached me and bent down which made me flinch even though I was near blacking out.
She kissed my cheek in taunting amusement.
"See you dear brother. Don't go dying on me now."
The last thing I remember seeing was her walking away and Evelyn not moving before my world faded to black.
