Mifuyu slowly blinks up at the student. It was like she couldn't believe it. Was this fucking happening?! She rubs her eyes and sits up to face him, taking in her surroundings. The nurse's office. Moon still shining through the window. His ruby-pink irises glistened along with it, his sharp features being greatly prominent in the lighting, and he looked undeniably pissed off. Composed of course.

"Uh…"

"How do you feel, Satomi-san?"

Reiji repeats his question, his arms tightening around his form. The ravenette squints at her classmate but takes a deep breath, closing her eyes and reopening them to confidently pierce his with her silver daggers. "I don't feel horrible." Mifuyu begins, bringing one knee to her chest while her other leg relaxed. Reiji nods at her response and looks out the window. Awkward silence greets them until one of her eyes twitch.

"The fuck was that, Reiji?" Blunt, right to the point. She was starting to get annoyed.

The male pushes his glasses up once more with his gloved hand before looking at her. "I don't believe we have met before." He denies her previous question at first which bristles Mifuyu even further, but does her best to not reach across the bed to throw something at him.

"It is rather rude to speak to someone you have never met before properly, am I not wrong?"
"I may not know you on a personal level, but I know who you are, Sakamaki-san." Mifuyu chills out with the ferocity for now. "Besides, you're the representative of the male subdivision of our class. You are in charge of what we do." She finishes before swallowing a lump in her throat.

"I suppose so." He does a small shrug at her statement. "However, it is still rude to address someone in that manner. I am just stating my opinion, after all, Satomi-san." Mifuyu exhales, putting a hand on her forehead.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like a prick."

"It is fine."

Reiji pauses and clears his throat. "As for your previous question. While I was experimenting, it appeared that a student had managed to clog the exhaust filter. I will have to find out who might have done this and report this immediately." He says matter of factly, sounding like he had meticulously planned out his strategy after that chaos had just unfolded. Mifuyu looked down at her pulled up knee as something came to mind whenever he had said that.

'Someone clogged the exhaust filter? What exactly…?'

"Oh!" Mifuyu says out loud, snapping her fingers and looks at Reiji quickly, to which he blinks in surprise.

"I may know who did that, Sakamaki-san." She says, sticking her index finger up in the air. The taller student tilts his head slightly, puzzled by her reaction.

"Do tell me their name."

"Well," Mifuyu starts, feeling sweat starting to build up out of nervousness. "I don't know her name. But I do know for a fact it was a girl. She had said something along the lines of-" The ravenette cups her hands together, rubbing them together to seem menacing, looking at the wall straight across from her. "I'll show him to snitch on me like that without helping me..!" All while doing a slightly exaggerated voice for effect. Mifuyu then looks at Reiji, an unimpressed expression still stagnant.

"...I see. So my preferred work station was sabotaged. How exhausting." He sighs, squeezing the bridge of his nose. Reiji then rests his hand back on his crossed arm, raising an eyebrow. "However, how do you know about this? Were you perhaps involved?"

"No," Mifuyu replied, dropping the child-like act. "I wasn't. To tell you the truth, I was having lunch there by myself to avoid the dining area. I knew I was not in the mood to put up with people and distanced myself to avoid getting into any mishaps." Reiji looks at her for a little bit before nodding. "Alright then. When did she come in? Do you know what time?"

"I think… around 12:16 AM at the very least. I didn't have time to finish up my bento since I was preoccupied." Mifuyu was not going to say she was too busy staring at the moon. Didn't want to sound like a hopeless fool.

"Ah, so it was your bento in the corner of the counter was it not? How inconvenient. Well, I will have to look at the security cameras and let them know what you had said. Do you wish to remain anonymous?" Reiji asks.

"Nah, it isn't like she'll do anything to me and besides, I can handle myself," Mifuyu says and swings her legs around to hang over the bed. He does a brief laugh, not sticking around in the room for too long. "Of course. Be advised, you might have to be escorted back to your home. All of the escorts have turned in for the morning." The ravenette does her best to not acknowledge the laugh but…

"What!? What time is it?"

Mifuyu asks and Reiji peels back his sleeve to look at his watch. "It is four in the morning, Satomi-san." The young woman groans and immediately stands, to only almost trip. Reiji catches her arm.

"Please do not get up so quickly, Satomi-san." Reiji saying, annoyance subtly pouring into his speech.

"I have to get home. My aunts are probably worried as shit about me." She says, adjusting her balance.

"I understand your concern. I already called your relatives about your condition and told them you were not injured. Everything is already taken care of. I will escort you back." Reiji says, giving the girl space to breathe.

'He contacted them while I was unconscious? How fast is this guy?' Mifuyu thinks but shakes her head. "Escort me? But I thought you said they had already turned in-"

"They have. I will take you home through my means. My transportation to be exact will take you home. Now, come along." Reiji says, walking ahead of Mifuyu and follows him in pursuit. As they were walking down the stairwell, the ravenette stopped, doing a noise of exclamation. Reiji looks over his shoulder, the neutral expression still never changing.

"What is it? Is something wrong?"

"My bento box! I forgot about that!" Mifuyu blurts out, going to turn around to go back upstairs and the vampire grabs her wrist, which makes the ravenette turnaround. "You can grab it tomorrow night. Getting home is your top priority right now." He says and she huffs, relevantly nodding to his statement. As they made their way to the front gates, a limo was waiting for them. The person driving had already opened the door for both of them.

"Good evening, Master Reiji. Where are we off too?" He bows in respect as Reiji approaches him. "We are taking this young lady back to her home." He hands off a small piece of paper to the driver and he nods. Mifuyu gets inside the rather expensive vehicle and gently sits on the lush red cushioning. Reiji sat not too far away from her, but far enough to where he had his own space in the car. The usher shuts the door and before they knew it, the car was moving.

Mifuyu crosses her arms, also crossing her right leg over her left leg. She didn't want to converse with the student and Reiji seemed to not have any interest in wanting to socialize. The hum of the car fills the silence as time passes by fairly quickly all while feeling like she was being stared at. Mifuyu made glances at the Sakamaki to see if he was out of her paranoia, but he was just focused on his gloved hands. She forgets about it as soon as the car comes to a halt. Mifuyu looked up at her apartment and was about to exit herself until the car door opened up for her.

"Have a good rest of the night, Satomi-san." No emotion behind that sentiment when Reiji said it and she knew that. He seemed way too distracted by his thoughts. Mifuyu nods and clears her throat.

"Thanks for tonight, Sakamaki-san." Mifuyu mumbles and leaves hastily, having her school bag with her. As Reiji lifted his head to watch the student go up the steps of her apartment, the car door shuts. Whenever she enters, he looks back at his hands.

"How troublesome."

"Fuyu-chan!"

A distant voice called out to her. When her eyes opened slowly, all she saw was concrete. The room reeked of rust, also being humid. Especially with the long hair she had. Mifuyu jolts up, processing what she had just heard. Her small figure stands and goes toward the tattered door, pounding on it. "Ryou-chan! I'm here!" Her dry voice croaks out, sounding like she might choke up. As the doorknob wiggles slightly, it opens but pushes the small child back. Mifuyu falls on her bottom and looks up to see...not her best friend.

"How many times must you do this to yourself, miserable wench?" The priest spats, making Mifuyu get up defensively.

"I didn't do anything wrong! All your doing is taking my best friend away from me!"

"It's for his good. All you do is cause trouble in the church." He says, shutting the door behind him. "It's because I want nothing to do with it! I hate it here and you're taking my best friend away from me!" Mifuyu screams at the adult, hands clenching in anger. The priest's face twists up, and he backhands the small rabbit, making her yelp.

"When will you learn?"

"I won't," Mifuyu mumbles, feeling her adrenaline shoot up through her veins.

His eyes twitch and he prepares to strike again. "What was that?"

"I said I won't!" Mifuyu shouts and turns around, squeezing her eyes shut and bolted. The room was small and it didn't go back any further than that, but at least this is how she knew this wasn't real. That she wasn't back in that place. Mifuyu yells out into the void and opens her eyes to find herself…

In the school hallway?

Mifuyu looks at her hands, faded out scars along with her palms, and outer hands stare back at her. She was wearing her uniform now too. She then stands slowly and looks all around. She figured because of what happened today, a replay might happen. Her eyes scan the hallway around her and she finds herself looking outside to see that the moon was a deep shade of red. It didn't entirely freak out the ravenette. However, when she did look away from the moon, she spotted something in the farthest corner of the hall. She doesn't move, not knowing what to do since...this hasn't happened before in her night terrors. The shadow or whatever kind of creature it was, stares back at her in total silence. Impatient with how long this had gone, Mifuyu steps forward. The creature copies her movements, much like a mirror. Any type of movement or limb she raises, the shadow will follow.

Groaning, Mifuyu stomps her foot. "Who are you!?"

They don't say anything at first. But the moon becomes a crimson red in response to her outburst. Then, it said...

"Silver."

A bird chirps awaken Mifuyu's unsettling landscape, the sunlight hitting her eyes. She rolls over onto her back, facing the ceiling. It was early in the morning she could tell. Rubbing her eyes with her hands and then covers her face, she shakes her head.

"Keep goin', Mifuyu. You got this."
