"Us? Why us? How can you trust us to watch a child? Kakuzu can't go five minutes without giving someone a death threat!"

Pein rolled his eyes, "Well Hidan, there's no one else to watch him and Naruto isn't old enough to be at home alone."

Kakuzu looked like he understood, but Hidan was still struggling with the concept of someone allowing them to watch such precious cargo.

"Look you two, as long as he's still alive and completely unharmed, you did your job correctly." Pein sighed.

"Understood." Kakuzu muttered.

"Fine . . ."

With that Pein left the two of them standing alone with Naruto in the hallway. The two men looked down at the small child.

"What do we do Uncle Hidan?" Naruto asked.

"Uhhh," he glanced at Kakuzu for help, but the older man just looked away, "Er, we could . . . we could play a game?"

"What kind of game?"

"Uhhhh . . ." Hidan thought for a moment, "You know what kid, how about I teach you about Jashin?"

Kakuzu whacked Hidan over the head.

"Ow! Why'd you do that?"

"You're not going to fill this child's head with useless religion."

"Useless?!"

Kakuzu looked at Naruto, "What would you like to do?"

"Hmmm . . ." Naruto thought for a minute, "Can we go to the Hidden Leaf and play with Sasuke?"

Kakuzu and Hidan looked at each other.

"Uh, sure kid." Hidan said, not breaking eye contact with his partner.

Naruto ran happily to his room to change into some better clothes.

Kakuzu shook his head, "We both know I can't go. I have a very distinctive look."

"Kakuzu! I can't go by myself! Look, maybe if you take your hair down, wear sunglasses, a hat, and a hoodie no one will recognize you."

"Hidan, it's over a hundred degrees outside. Are you trying to kill me?"

Hidan raised an eyebrow at Kakuzu, "Kill you? That's the best excuse you could come up with? You legit wear junk like that everyday!"

Kakuzu sighed, "Fine. I'll try to come."

Everyone got ready. Hidan ended up ruffling up his hair, putting on a gray t-shirt and jeans, tucking his necklace in his shirt and finishing the look with a pair of sunglasses. Kakuzu got dressed in almost exactly what Hidan had told him to. He also used makeup to mask his stitches. Naruto came out wearing basketball shorts, flip-flops, and a tank-top.

Hidan grabbed Naruto's hand, "Alright guys, let's head to the Leaf."

When they arrived they immediately hurried to Sasuke's house. They practically ignored everyone who tried to talk to them. Upon approaching the house they saw Sasuke playing in the front yard. He was scraping ants off of a tree and letting them free in the grass. The front door opened and Kakashi appeared.

"Oi, Sasuke! Stop scraping those ants off the tree."

Sasuke immediately stopped, "Okay! Sorry Kakashi!"

The little black haired boy was about to go find something else to do when he spotted Naruto. He waved and motioned for the blonde to come over. Naruto took off. They played for about thirty minutes before Kakashi walked out.

"Naruto? What are you doing here?"

"I came to play with Sasuke, Kakashi-san."

Hidan and Kakuzu walked up to the fence.

"Sorry for the inconvenience! I'm Naruto's Uncle. This is his Grandpa and we can take him back now. Have a nice day, thanks, and bye!" Hidan quickly explained.

Hidan grabbed Naruto's hand and walked away from the house.

"Real smooth Hidan."

"Oh be quiet Kakuzu!"

When they got home they put Naruto down for a nap and waited for Pein to come back. The leader eventually walked through the door and looked at the two of them.

"How did it go? Is he alive?"

Kakuzu nodded, "It was stressful, but he's alive."

Hidan scoffed, "Yeah, and surprisingly so are we."

Kakuzu : Kids aren't my forte.

Hidan : Yeah, same!

Tobi : Hey HellCat-san!

Tobi : There's a great new restaurant in town. Can you come with me?

HellCat180 : Heck yeah! Can Deidara Senpai come?

Tobi : That's just what I was thinking!

HellCat180 : Yay! Dei, you're coming with us.

Deidara : Okay, whatever.

Tobi : Yes!
