I sincerely apologize for my lack of updates on this story. I have been so busy with school and marching band lately. I also apologize for the shortness of this chapter. I couldn't think of a better way to end it. Shoutouts to everyone (I'm feeling generous and giving shoutouts to everyone in the entire universe...except Daleks...they have no emotions anyways, so it's not like their feelings are gonna be hurt...) and enjoy! :)

Chapter 35

"Christine, calm down! I can explain-"

"Get away from her!" she yelled out as she picked up the try she was holding and held it like she was in attack mode. Whoa, I thought. I never would've thought she had it in her. She sort of reminds me of Rapunzel with the skillet...

Before bad could go to worse (like it always does), Erik pulled the Angel of Music card...

"I am your Angel of Music,

Come to me, Angel of Music..."

It seemed to do the trick as it hypnotized her...and to be quite frank, me as well. His voice was just heavenly. I could never get enough of it.

"Christine, please let her explain." he said softly.

Oh yeah, let me do all the work... I thought snarkily.

She nodded thoughtlessly, like she was still in her trance (she probably was, to be honest). I tried to her attention off of him and onto me. I did everything: snapping my fingers, waving my hand in her face, calling her name. Nothing worked! I finally gave up and just pulled her onto the bed in a sitting position with her back facing Erik. That did the trick.

"Mandy, what in the world is going on? Why does he sound like my Angel?" she asked in a confused tone.

I sighed and looked over to Erik. He nodded, saying okay and turning his back to us, seeming very interested in the mirror all of the sudden. "Christine, I have a little story to tell you..."

I told her the exact story I told Erik when we first met. I didn't put me in the story just yet, because she needed to know what would have happened if I hadn't shown up. What I found funny, though, was that she interrupted and said the same things Erik did when I told him the story.

"Alright, so now that you know the original story, here is the updated one, featuring yours truly in all her glory. As you know, I came before all of this happened, so you should know that I mucked everything up with just being here, even though, as you know, I have no idea how I got here. I wasn't supposed to be here, singing songs in concerts that weren't supposed to happen, playing the role in this opera that is supposed to be yours...falling in love with the Phantom of the Opera..."

"So my Angel of Music is really the Phantom of the Opera?" she asked, looking back at Erik.

He looked back at her, a grieved look on his face. "Yes, Christine. I am so sorry for all of this."

Christine stood up and walked over to him. "It's alright. We couldn't have known this was going to happen."

"Well, I did..." I mumbled. They just looked at me. "Alright, fine, I'll shut up."

They turned back to each other. "So, what now?" Christine asked quietly.

"Well, can we gather in a circle, hold hands, and sing 'Kumbaya'?"

Blank stares were my only answers from the two. "That's what I thought. Well, I'm all out of ideas. Next?"

A moment of silence passed before the epiphany hit me again. Insert mental tea-spittage here. "Christine, do you remember the special guest Andre and Firmin mentioned earlier?"

She nodded apprehensively. "Yes..."

"Wanna know who it is?" I asked, giving a mischievous smile.

Needless to say, after I whispered it in her ear, I couldn't hear in my right ear for the next half hour or so.

"Well," I said, even though I think I yelled it, because hearing loss. "I would say that she was a little excited. How about you?"
