RJ opened the letter. Roy, Ratchet, and Rivet was sitting in the living room.
Roy got his letter, these were letters determining their entire futures.
They were both going to UCLA.
RJ was going to be a basketball player and Roy was planning to go into business to one day become CEO of Insomniac Games.
Roy and RJ opened theirs at the same time. They folded them out and read them.
Their eyes lit up
"WE'VE BEEN ACCEPTED!" RJ screamed in joy as they hugged their parents.
"I'm happy for you guys!" Ratchet said. Rivet hugged them both and kissed him on their heads.
"You know what I've realized, RJ?" Roy asked.
"What?"
"That we are the first alien species to go to college," he said
"Oh yeah! You guys are right." Ratchet said, smiling at both of his sons.
"You guys are going to college to live your dreams!" Rivet said, hugging both her kids.
"We love you guys, we would've done it without you," Roy said, hugging them.
