Now, before you all go and hate on me, please note that this fanfic has solely been based off of my own headcanons and experiences after having played Deltarune's first two chapters. You don't have to agree with my headcanons, but be wary to not express yourself too directly with those disagreements, because I, a kind person, won't do that to you either.

Before I begin, I shall explain why this fanfic is rated T and list a few important characters and headcanons from here so that nobody is confused about what they'll be reading soon.

·violence which is mostly verbal, emotional and mental, rather than physical

The characters we know:

·Kris Dreemurr (they/them): the protagonist of Deltarune, Asgore and Toriel's adopted offspring and Asriel's younger sibling. Despite their situational mutism, they are a mysterious but kind person who occasionally loves to joke around. They are one of the first Lightners to have discovered the Dark World.
·Susie (she/her): the deuteragonist of Deltarune and Kris's classmate and friend(ly rival). She is quite a rowdy and tough girl who never wants to slow down. She discovered the Dark World along with Kris during a Monday at school.
·Noelle Holiday (she/her): Kris and Susie's classmate. She is shy, intelligent and has an obvious but mostly unrevealed crush on Susie.
·Berdly (he/him): Kris and Susie's other classmate. He is a pretty big show-off with his intelligence and skills and also has a bit of a crush on Susie, whom he calls Susan.
·Ralsei (he/him): the prince of the Dark World. He is fairly timid but very friendly, kind, helpful and easily befriendable and he loves to bake cakes and help others out.
·Lancer (he/him): the Prince of Spades and King and Queen's son. He is usually quite the wild child whose biggest hero is Susie, but a real sweetheart from the inside.
·Serial Number Q5U4EX7YY2E9N "Queen" (she/her): the Cyber Queen of the Cyber World, until she got recruited to my Castle Town. Don't let her initial antagonistic, manipulative and somewhat devilish personality fool you: after she got recruited, she went back to being her actual friendly and somewhat eccentric self. She is King's ex-wife and Lancer's mother/'Girldad' whose favourite drink is battery acid and whose favourite food is bananas. King occasionally calls her Queenie Beanie.
·Rouxls Kaard (he/him): the Duke of Puzzles. He is an eccentric man who speaks in Early Modern English with many unnecessary -eth's and -est's in his spoken sentences, but drops this fake dialect when he's astonished or angry. He is additionally Lancer's 'Vice Dad', formerly known as his 'Lesser Dad', due to King, whom he used to serve, often leaving Lancer out of his own picture. His most iconic original recipes are Rouxls's Roux and macaroni and cheese.
·Swatch (they/them): the Head Butler of Queen's Mansion. They used to work at the Colour Café until they got recruited into my Castle Town, where they started working at the local café there instead. They are kind, somewhat shy and very musical (they play the piano fluently) and artistic. They are also Queen's younger stepsibling due to their father having been married to the previous Cyber Queen before her demise.
·Tasque Manager (she/her): Queen's maid who is barely seen without her trusty Tasques. She approves of orderliness, abhors chaos and is known to be strict but quite friendly.
·King of Spades (he/him): the youngest of the four kings of the Card Kingdom who eventually ruled solitarily until he got incarcerated by his own peers after he tried to kill Kris and their friends and still remains incarcerated in my Castle Town. He is Queen's ex-husband and Lancer's father who is notorious for having been more tyrannical than usually under the influence of the Dark Fountain in the Eastern Dark World. Queen occasionally calls him Kingy Wingy.
·Nubert (he/him): a small, red Darkner that everybody loves. Nobody used to love him when he lived alone in the alleyways of Cyber City, but when Queen offered him shelter in her mansion, this changed drastically. He is very friendly, calm and as soft and squishy as a marshmallow and doesn't mind being squeezed or used as a pillow. Queen occasionally calls him Nuby.
·Clover (she/her/herselves): the Princess of Clubs and the daughter of the incarcerated King of Clubs. Even if she merely appears in the flashback chapters of this story, it's obvious that each head of hers has a different personality: gruff, cheery and gloomy.
·King of Hearts (he/him): the second youngest of the four kings of the Card Kingdom who eventually got incarcerated. He is usually fairly quiet but still has a loving and straightforward personality.
·King of Clubs (he/him/himselves): the second oldest of the kings of the Card Kingdom who eventually got incarcerated. Like his daughter, his three heads have a gruff, cheery and gloomy personality each. Overall, he usually has an aloof personality. His late wife, the Queen of Clubs, was Clover's mother.
·King of Diamonds (he/him): the eldest of the kings of the Card Kingdom who used to be its main king until he eventually got incarcerated. He usually has a very energetic and enthusiastic personality.

New characters, all of whom are my OCs:

·Rolek (he/him): Swatch's father and the previous Head Butler. His ex, Swatch's biological mother, left him after he wanted to keep Swatch but she didn't. Shortly after, he got married to the previous Cyber Queen until her sudden demise nearly 17 years later. He is a friendly and calm Swatchling who barely panics and is good at listening. He is named after the Rolex brand of watches, since I initially thought Swatch was also named after the eponymous watch brand.
·Serial Number Q4U3EW6XX1E8N (she/her): the previous Cyber Queen and Serial Number Q5U4EX7YY2E9N's late mother, who unfortunately died of an overheated core and the Conficker virus nearly 15 years before the present. She was once the widow of the Cyber King before she met and married Rolek. To the denizens of the Cyber World, she was known to be a very kind and groundbreaking ruler.
·Elder Tasque Manager (he/him): Tasque Manager's father who maintains the order at Queen's Mansion as long as his daughter is still in her educational curriculum. He is a strict but friendly man who is a good friend of Rolek's.
·Miguel (he/him): a Swatchling at Queen's Mansion who hates to not be taken seriously. He is dressed in red, the eldest of his friend group and a very sceptical individual. He is named after Gumi, a famous chattering lory from YouTube.
·Lemmy (he/him): a Swatchling at Queen's Mansion who is known to be curious and friendly while he is at someone's service. He is dressed in orange, the second-eldest of his friend group and he loves food. A lot. He is named after Lemon, Gumi's green-thighed parrot brother from YouTube.
·Bowen (he/him): a Swatchling at Queen's Mansion who is notable for his calmness and high intelligence. He is dressed in yellow, the 'middle' of his friend group and eventually becomes one of the best doctors at Queen's Mansion. He is named after Bowie, a famous Indian ringneck from YouTube.
·Fabio (he/him): a Swatchling at Queen's Mansion who is a waiter at the Colour Café. He is dressed in green, the second-youngest of his friend group and a very formal and civilised individual who occasionally has his enthusiastic days. He is named after Fabio, a famous Indian ringneck from YouTube.
·Mardi (he/him), a Swatchling at Queen's Mansion who is a bartender at the Colour Café. He is dressed in blue, the youngest of his friend group and a somewhat shy but very relaxed and friendly individual. He is named after Mardi, a famous Indian ringneck from YouTube who sadly flew away in the summer of 2021.
·Cathy (she/her): a somewhat feisty Hathy who is fairly easy to befriend and eager to learn new things. When something doesn't go her way or she considers something nonsense, her catchphrase goes "Ah, banana oil!".
·Iggy (she/her): an energetic, friendly and hard-working Rudinn who eventually becomes one of the new doctors at Card Castle. Her best friend is Cathy.
·Aurea (she/her): a calm, friendly and motherly Head Hathy who has served all four of the kings of Card Kingdom for quite some time.
·Amore (he/him): a friendly, caring and intelligent Hathy who hates fighting, even if they're already arguments instead of physical battles. He is Cathy's younger brother.
·Milo and Nico (both they/them): identical twin Rudinns who oftentimes build their/one another's sentences up in the same fashion as Hip and Hop Koopa from the Super Mario Bros. 3 cartoon. Both are mischievous, but Milo is more keen and Nico is somewhat of an airhead. They are also Iggy's two cousins.
·Igos (he/him): a Rudinn Ranger who works as a chef at Card Castle. He is somewhat kooky but very friendly and motivated otherwise. He is Iggy's father.
·Castiel (he/him): a Hathy who works as a (pastry) chef and baker at Card Castle. He is shy but very friendly and loves to design and make any type of cake. He is Aurea's husband and Cathy and Amore's father.
·Arnold "Arn" (he/him): one of the Rudinn Ranger guards who is highly skilled at his occupation. Additionally, he's also a highly skilled engineer who helped install the elevators in Card Castle. He is Milo and Nico's father and Iggy's uncle by marriage.
·Rupert (he/him): one of the Rudinn Ranger guards who only just finished his education and is already proven to be an excellent guard despite his young adulthood. He is never seen smiling and joking around, but that doesn't make him an unkind individual.
·Ruby (she/her): one of the few female Rudinn Ranger guards who is highly praised due to her groundbreaking skills and confidence. She, too, does not smile easily.
·Leon (he/him): one of the Rudinn Ranger guards who is a quirky yet very strong type. He is named after Leon, a famous lobster from YouTube.
·Boyd (he/him): a somewhat kooky and hard-working Rudinn Ranger guard who is notable for being the brawn compared to his best friend Larry. Whenever trouble lurks, he is notable for immediately springing into action.
·Larry (he/him): a kind yet air-headed Head Hathy guard who is notable for being the brains compared to his best friend Boyd. He often has his head in the clouds unless the situation is critical.
·Eiji (he/him): a straightforward and quite serious Rudinn who follows in his father's tracks as a doctor, but followed a shorter medical education than Iggy for he's a bit of a squeamish individual himself. He is Ruby's son.
·Tobias (he/him): one of the Head Hathy guards who is hasty but still a very hard worker. He tends to get snippy about anything without any intention and is also a very skilled engineer.
·Izuki (any pronouns): a young Ponman who aims to become one of the guards at Card Castle. He might be sleepy, but she's definitely not lazy.
·Duncan (he/him): a Head Hathy who is a skilled engineer and electrician who puts his entire heart in his occupations.
·Roger (he/they): an artsy Rudinn Ranger who is an avid engineer and furniture designer, as well as the first to agree with the idea of having elevators in Card Castle.
·Mari (any pronouns): a shy Ponman who was often known as a target of being teased. He aims to become one of the guards at Card Castle, loves her friends and is never seen without them.
·Adam (he/him): an orange Addison who is a priest and held the speech during the previous Cyber Queen's funeral.
·Ellie (she/her): a female Swatchling who loves music and eventually becomes Bowen's girlfriend. She is Mardi's cousin who seems shy but actually hates to sit still. She is named after Ellie, a famous Indian ringneck from YouTube.
·Matilda "Matt" (she/her, mentioned only): a Rudinn who has a very creative and artistic mind and loves to paint. She is Arn's wife, Milo and Nico's mother and Iggy's maternal aunt.
·Irene (she/her, mentioned only): a Rudinn who is an artistic seamstress at Card Castle. When she cooks, her most iconic original recipe is ravioli con aglio e olio. She is Matt's older sister, Milo and Nico's aunt, Igos's wife and Iggy's mother.

Most prominent headcanons:

·Susie's parents - her runaway father and to alcohol and cigarettes addicted mother - don't care too much for and about her and vice versa, similarly to Aubrey and her (most likely to alcohol) addicted mother in OMORI. Compare this to the fact where she doesn't dial them during the actual events of Deltarune's 2nd chapter.
·Swatch and Rouxls Kaard try to make amends with one another after what Rouxls did in the Colour Café during the actual events of Deltarune's 2nd chapter, because it's logical that barely anyone can stay angry at someone else forever.
·Queen is Lancer's biological mother, and she used to be in love with and married to the King of Spades in the past, the overall history of which is further explained starting from chapter 5 of this fanfic.
·Lancer has psychological issues due to the abuse that King did to him ever since Queen left Card Castle, one of the outcomes of which is nocturnal enuresis, which is also possible to happen in real life for that very reason.
·Kris is situationally mute and mostly uses English sign language to express themself. Depending on which English dialect you, the reader, speak (e.g. British, American or Australian), it's up to you which English sign language this exactly is.
·Queen and Swatch are stepsiblings due to Queen's mother, the previous Cyber Queen, and Swatch's father, Rolek, having been married until the former's demise.
·Ralsei and Nubert are the only known Darkners who can be present in any Dark World without turning to stone, as even the official Deltarune Wiki has stated.
·Darkners can go through the warp doors to visit any Dark World that is even possible to not be their own.
-In order for Darkners of a specific Dark World to be present in any Dark World without turning to stone, they wear special magic pendants that they do not take off until they're back in their own Dark World.
·Only I, the writer, and you, the reader(s), are aware of the events of the Snowgrave Route, whereas everyone in this fanfic, which obviously takes place after the good ending of Deltarune's 2nd chapter, is convinced that it's merely fictitious, as (almost indirectly) stated in the (parody) song Pipis by the Sweet Cap'n Cakes in chapter 3.
·There are female Swatchlings, but they're not mentioned as often as Swatch and a few others, who are non-binary and male respectively.
-Additionally, not all Swatchlings are butlers. Bowen is a doctor, Swatch (previously Rolek), Fabio and Mardi work at the Colour Café, and a few dozens are musicians at the Pandora Palace Orchestra.
·The King of Spades and Lancer's species is known as spadeling, and the King of Clubs's and Clover's species is known as clubling. The King of Diamonds is a four-armed subspecies of Rudinn and the King of Hearts is a subspecies of Hathy.
-Spadelings, as stated in chapter 27, are known to have their umbilical cord change itself into their navel shortly before the first stage of their birth. Said navel will turn into their second mouth once they reach puberty.
·Procreation between two different species of two different binary sexes (intersexuality is not a binary sex) works the same way as in the Netflix show BoJack Horseman. The most important example of this is King, a spadeling, and Queen, being of the computer-related species, being able to either have a spadeling or a computer-related Darkner as an offspring and not a hybrid of both, which eventually became their spadeling son Lancer.
-Similarly, other interspecies relationships are also not uncommon in this fanfic. For instance, a Hathy is initially in a romantic relationship with a Swatchling before being in a romantic relationship with a Rudinn a few years later, and a Virovirokun and an Ambyu-Lance are a platonic couple.
