Prologue
"UWAAAH! UWAAAH!" cried a red-haired, purple-eyed boy. His mother looked up at the newborn child and her husband and smiled. Her husband, a blonde-spiky haired man with blue eyes spoke, "He looks just like you," said the Yondaime Hokage of Konoha, the Yellow Flash of Konoha, Namikaze Minato. The woman smiled, "Naruto," she said, still exhausted from giving birth. This woman, just like her child, had flowing red hair and purple eyes. This woman was Uzumaki Kushina, otherwise known as the Red Death of Konoha and current jinchuriki of the Kyubi no Yoko, "It's so nice to finally meet you, sochi," said Kushina happily. Minato grabbed his wife's hand and squeezed it, "How are you doing my love?" he asked softly, "Okay," responded his red-haired beauty, "Thank you," said Minato. Kushina looked up into her husband's eyes, "Minato…" she responded. "Alright! I know you've just gone through childbirth, but I need to completely seal the Kyubi!"
"UWAAAH! UWAAAH!" cried Naruto. The husband and wife looked over where Naruto was crying. They saw the midwives drop dead and Naruto in a masked man's arms, "AAAUH!" screamed Kushina.
"Yondaime Hokage Minato, get away from the jinchuriki," said the masked man. Minato and Kushina glared at the man who had their minute-old son in his arms, "Or else, this child won't make it past one minute of life."
'How the hell did he get past the barrier?' thought Minato, 'This guy… Who is he?;
"Urrgh!" growled Kushina and seals started to cover her body, and the Kyubi was getting pulled out of its seal. Minato looked at his wife with terror in his eyes, "Kushina!" yelled Minato, 'The Kyubi is getting pulled out, SHIT!' he thought.
"I said, get away from the jinchuriki!" demanded the masked man as he pulled out a kunai, "Don't you care about what happens to your child?" he asked. Minato turned to him with a scared look on his face, "Please! Calm down!" yelled Minato.
"Speak for yourself, Yondaime. I'm as calm as can be," said the mask man as he threw Naruto into the air, his kunai poised to strike at any moment.
"NARUTO!" screamed Kushina.
"UWAAH! UWAAAH!" cried the boy. The masked man jumped for the baby, but before he could strike he saw a yellow flash, and then looked back at Kushina and Minato, the latter now having a baby Naruto in his arms.
"I must hand it to the Yellow Flash. But I wonder if you will be fast enough for this!" He said as he made a hand seal. Minato heard a sizzle on Naruto's blanket and his eyes widened.
"MINATO!" screamed Kushina.
Minato flashed away to a safehouse and threw the blanket away before it could harm the father and son. He was sent flying through the door, and as he landed, he noticed a splinter in his leg, "Well, at least Naruto wasn't hurt," he said to himself. He suddenly got serious, 'His target is Kushina, and he succeeded in separating,' he thought as he teleported away. He landed in another safehouse, where he laid Naruto down in a crib. "You'll be safe here, Naruto. Just wait for a bit. I need to go and save your Kasan.
With Kushina
Kushina was currently trapped in a seal by the masked man. She had seals crawling from all over her body, "W-what d-do you want?" she asked the masked man.
The man narrowed his one eye, "I am going to take the Kyubi from you, and with it, I am going to destroy Konoha," he said, activating his Sharingan. Kushina gasped, "What?"
The masked man spoke up again, "Minato's Hiraishin allows him to teleport him instantly between locations marked with the correct seals. He marked you with that sealing formula as well in order to protect you. However, I was able to put distance between you. Furthermore, the Kyubi's seal has been weakened due to you giving birth. Do you know how long I've waited for this?"
Kushina's eyes widened in fear as she felt the Kyubi being sucked out of her. Then she saw it, the menacing chakra coming out of her seal, taking the shape of a fox.
The fox was in full form in less then a minute and looked at the masked man, "You're-" he was about to say, but was cut off when he was put under a genjutsu by the man's Sharingan. Kushina fell to the ground after all of the Biju's chakra was sucked out of her.
"RAAAAAAWWWWR!" roared the Kyubi. The mask man looked up at the terrifying beast, "Good, now it seems only fitting that the beast shall kill its jinchuriki. I'll head off to Konoha now," said the masked man as he shunshined away. The Kyubi, in its controlled state, slammed its giant palm down onto the rock where Kushina was lying down on. There was a giant crash, and when the Kyubi looked for its ex-jinchuriki it only saw crumbled rock. It looked in front of it and saw Minato with Kushina in his arms. Minato looked back at the fox before teleporting away to his safehouse.
Safehouse
Minato laid his wife down with his sleeping son, "Stay with Naruto," said the Hokage. Kushina looked at her son and started to weep, "Naruto…" she said. Minato clenched his fists and grabbed his Hokage robe, "I'll be right back," he said.
Konoha
An ANBU member walked around with his green-clad friend around the Konoha streets. He had a black facemask and a headband covering his left eye. His gravity-defying silver hair blowing in the wind. His friend was in a green spandex suit with his headband belted around his waist. He had black hair in a bowl cut and the biggest eyebrows in the elemental nations. These two were Hatake Kakashi and Maito Gai.
"Why don't we just play Rock-Paper-Scissors again tonight?" asked Kakashi. Gai grimaced, "Not that again Kakashi! Think of something more invigorating! How can you call yourself my eternal rival?" said Gai. Kakashi sighed, "We have an early start tomorrow, let's just pass tonight," said the 14-year-old. He really enjoyed spending time with Gai, but sometimes he was just too much.

The masked man walked into Konoha without being spotted. He went into the middle of a deserted street before yelling, "KUCHIYOSE NO JUTSU!" as a giant gust of smoke filled the center of the village sending many people flying, some of them dying on impacting walls. Several villagers who were still conscious looked at the giant cloud of smoke. Their eyes widened in fear at what they saw.
"RAAAAAAWWWWR!" roared the strongest Biju. It began to tear up streets and kill thousands of people at a time. On top of the Hokage monument was Namikaze Minato looking at the destruction. It was then he felt a presence behind him and turned around. He saw the masked man. He saw his sharingan change to something of a three-pointed shuriken. He swung his kunai at the man, just for it to pass through his head. He swung at the man, but his punch was caught, "I'm your opponent," said the masked ninja. Minato felt as if he was being sucked, and before it could escalate he teleported away.
Minato landed at the same safehouse that was destroyed earlier. "Guuh," he grunted. He looked up and saw a swirling in the air. He saw the masked man come out of the portal-like jutsu and appear in front of him. The masked man took out a chain from his sleeves and connected it to both wrists.
'I can't let him go any further, or else he'll cause more destruction than even Kyubi!' Minato thought. The masked man and Minato rushed at each other. Minato had a Hiraishin kunai in hand, and the masked man just reached out barehanded. Minato stuck out his kunai but he went straight through the man's body. As soon as he was out, he was caught by the man's chains. He teleported several feet away to another kunai. He turned around and the two men rushed at each other again. This time Minato threw his kunai, but once again it phased straight through the man's head. He put out his palm and a sphere of chakra appeared above it. Just before the man could grab onto Minato, the latter teleported to his kunai and appeared above the masked man.
"RASENGAN!" yelled Minato as he slammed the spiraling chakra sphere into the masked man's back. After the jutsu exploded, he placed a Hiraishin marker on the man's back. The man jumped back from Minato.
"I let my guard down for a sec-" the man was about to say until he was stabbed by Minato's kunai, 'I see, he must've marked me,' he thought. Minato placed a seal on the man to stop the Kyubi from being under his control, "The Kyubi is no longer in your command," said Minato.
The man narrowed his eyes, "Very well, I will leave, but be warned. One day, I will control this world."
Konoha
The Kyubi roared as it gained its freedom from the Sharingan, however that did not stop its rampage. It was in a blind rage from being controlled by a human, and began to tear the village apart more viciously than before.
The Sandaime Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, stood on the roof of the Hokage tower, "Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Enma!" he said as a human-sized monkey appeared from the smoke, "The Kyubi?" it said, "Henge!" it yelled transforming into a giant bo staff. Hiruzen grabbed the staff and held it towards Kyubi. It grew to unimaginable lengths, and pushed the Kyubi far out of Konoha.
Minato saw the Kyubi and rushed towards the battle. He bit his thumb and drew blood, yelling, "Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" as a giant toad fell from the sky, landing on top of Kyubi with yondaime on its head. While the Kyubi was on the ground, it began to gather blue and red chakra in front of its mouth. Minato cringed, "I'm going to need a powerful jutsu to get rid of this," he said as he jumped off of the toad, which dispelled after he left. The giant ball of chakra disappeared and an explosion appeared in the distance, startling the Sandaime and other shinobi. Minato appeared with Naruto and Kushina in his arms. Kushina created chakra chains that came out of her back that held the Kyubi down.
"Minato, I'll seal the Kyubi inside of me so I can bring it with me to my death," said Kushina. Minato looked at his wife seriously, "No, I'll use my remaining chakra to seal it inside myself and Naruto, but to do so I'll need to use that jutsu." Kushina's eyes widened, "No, Minato, you can't! He needs his father-"
"But he needs his mother more. Kushina, you're the reason I'm the Yondaime Hokage, you're the reason I'm a father. I have no regrets except that I won't see Naruto grow up," Minato said, finishing the hand signs he had started, "Fuin: Reaper Death Seal!" he yelled as a ghostly figure with a white rope, white hair, and purple skin appeared behind Minato. The Shinigami reached for the Yin half of the Kyubi and sealed it inside Minato.
"Good, now for the Eight Trigram Seal," said Minato as he summoned a bed for Naruto and painted a seal on his son's body. The kyubi, still enraged, tried to stab Naruto. Before Kushina could move, Minato had already taken the blow, stopping the claw from reaching Naruto.
"MINATOOOO!" she screamed. Minato just looked at his wife sadly, "I told you, he needs his mother more. Kuchiyose no Jutsu," he said as a green and orange frog with a scroll for a stomach appeared, "Gerotora, I'm giving you the key to the seal. Take it to Jiraiya-sensei and store it with him," he said. The frog nodded and took the key, "Very well, I'll leave now," said Gerotora as he disappeared. Minato created the hand signs for the seal, sealing the Kyubi inside his son. He fell to the floor, dead.
Kushina stared wide-eyed at where her husband lay, tears pouring down her face. She limped over to Naruto's bed and lifted him. She fell onto her knees and cried her heart out, for today Konoha lost a Hokage, people lost a friend, and a wife lost her husband. All that came out of it that was good was a redhead that goes by the name Uzumaki Naruto, the jinchuriki of the Kyubi no Kitsune.

That was good. Have a really good idea for this story and I hope you like it. It's gonna be really sad in the beginning, just a head's up. If you don't like sad you might as well leave. But it'll get happier. So I would recommend staying.
