Fingerless Gloves

October 2022

Ratchet looked in the mirror. He was all set for Halloween. All he needed were some fingerless gloves to complete his costume.

He was dressing up as a Pokémon trainer. He had everything. He even bought a Pokémon jacket with a Pikachu on it. One of his favorites next to Charizard.

"Rivet, do we have any fingerless gloves?" Ratchet asked, adjusting the hat as Ash Ketchum wears in the very first Pokémon Anime,

"I don't think so, Chet." Rivet called out from the bathroom. She was putting on her costume. Which was Amy Rose

She was planning to be Harley Quinn but she doesn't have the hair for her. She can always buy a wig for her and hair dye like she has in the show.

Ratchet was going to be Sonic but he can be Sonic next year.

Roy was going as Spider-Man and RJ was going as a soldier.

"Hey Roy, why didn't you choose Sly Cooper?" RJ asked, smirking.

"Because I didn't want to, you doofus."

"Bro, why? You'd be great because of your tail that looks like a raccoon!" RJ said, crossing his arms. He just wore a green shirt, army pants and combat boots, completed with two dog tags. Around his neck.

"Shut up, Simba!" Roy said.

"Oh, wow. Nice insult. What makes dad then?"

"Mufasa."

"Jeez, bruh."

Then, Ratchet walked into the room.

"Hey, guys? Do you have any fingerless gloves I could use?"

"No, sorry, why didn't you buy some on Amazon?" RJ asked.

"Because I forgot Amazon existed."

"Dude, why don't you be a Skateboarder?"

"No, bruh. I wanted to be a Pokémon trainer."

"Chet!" Rivet called.

"Yeah?"

"Go to Target!"

"But what if they don't have any?" he called.

"Dude! They will have some!" Rivet said.

He tried Target. He walked in and found a man with a red shirt.

"Excuse me. Do you have any fingerless gloves?"

"Oh they should be in the clothing department."

He went there and looked for gloves.

"Found them." Ratchet said as he picked up some leather fingerless gloves that were meant for bikers. He tried one on and smiled

These were perfect!

He went back home and put them on. He took a picture and posted it to his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

"You got them?" Rivet asked her husband.

"Yeah." Ratchet said.

"Okay everyone ready?" Rivet asked, grabbing her trick or treat bag.

"Yeah, mom." Roy and RJ both said. Ratchet and Rivet grabbed theirs and stepped out of the house to trick or treat.
